There grilled chicken salads taste like crap sorry to say it. I went recently & called the manager because I have never received a salad almost frozen with cold chicken, before even if were crispy the manager tried to say its for "safety purposes" the reason as to why the grilled chicken was cold. I would never go back, so let me guess does that apply to the wraps too? Because of the lettuce. I have been getting numerous coupons from Farmer Boys, but I have no idea where there is one by my house. By chance, at work last weekend, my coworkers decided to go there. I wish I would have had my coupons. F***ING DELICIOUS! I ordered the BLT with fried zucchinis. *Picture posted First off, the BLT was clean. When I say clean I mean that it wasn't greasy at all, the lettuce and bread looked fresh, and it was close to something home cooked. The fried zucchinis exceeded my expectations. Don't waste your time or $$ coming here, worst management/customer service/cook EVER. It's 7:00 am on a Saturday, and the restaurant is completely empty. But apparently it takes 2-3 different attempts to make a simple breakfast with over easy eggs and well done hash browns. I've been here many times. My best friend loves this place! Anyway, I went yesterday and ordered a Chicken Bbq Ranch salad. Get all the way home (which really isn't that far, but I was especially exhausted yesterday) and boom, no salad dressing. So, I think okay, I'll just go to the fridge and grab some ranch (even though restaurant ranch is different) and boom, no ranch. Then, anger. WTF! How do you not give a person salad dressing when all they ordered was an effin $7.00 salad? This isn't the first time they've messed up with the dressing either. So yes, maybe I should deduct a star from my IQ because I should have double checked. But, come on this is your job! Once I went with my boyfriend and I ordered a club salad, he ordered a burger, with fried zucchini and a chicken wrap. So, for my salad I should have received 2-4 ranches, he should have gotten 2 for his zucchini, and another 2 for the wrap. You know how many we got, 2! 2 ranches for all this stuff. We parked the car, I hopped out, went in and asked for like 4 more ranches. The girl was like "um, we don't just give out ranch to anyone who walks in". I told her we had just went through drive thru. So she asks the drive thru girl, and because my boyfriend was driving she didn't recognize me. Irwindale FB is my go to location....I do business in the area so it always seems to be lunchtime when I'm out that way. The fries are by far theee best ever...the breakfast burrito...or as I call it..."THE BREAKFAST BAT"..its huge and sooooo good...bacon and sausage...yummmmm! My dad & I frequent the Irwindale Farmer Boys at least once-A-Week. And, it's always a pleasure to see Mario, the head chef on the other side with a smiling face, as well as Elizabeth who greets and takes our order!. The food is very worth the value and it tastes super fresh. The only downfall is that is does get a little smokey inside there when the grills are at full throttle and they are busy. But, in that case, one can easily go outside for fresh air lunch. Besides that, I always get the fish & chips with xtra malted vinegar and it's super yummy!.. Also because they were closing up they forgot to call my name, and I got my food when it was like warm. Still the staff is friendly and understanding. I'm not sure what the big deal about this place is. Or maybe there isn't a big deal. The burgers are okay. I didn't care for their fries at all. They are horribly overpriced for a chain. Their Farmer burger runs 5 bucks and then if you want fries and a soda that's another $3.10 thrown on top of that. And it's a small soda so if you are taking out or drive-thru it's even more of a rip-off. Nine dollars for a chain fast food burger, fries, small soda. Geez, what is the world coming to? Their pastrami was decent but small and again, overpriced for the size. One thing I would like to try is their breakfasts. Half of their menu is dedicated to breakfasts and they serve breakfast 'all day'. So at some point I'll have to come back to try that. But for burgers I'd much rather go to Grand Burger or In&Out than this place. Oh btw this place is actually in Irwindale and not Baldwin Park as the address currently indicates. Extra 1.75 for a smear of "guacamole", no actual avocado chunks. Ranch and ketchup gave burrito and onion rings some flavor. A 10 dollar bill weighs more than the burrito I spent 10 bucks on. I usually look for a place to grab a breakfast sandwich once I arrive in the area ( I check yelp for the best hole-in-the-wall places) This time I arrived early and there weren't any! I had farmer boys suggested by my coworkers, but didn't believe the hype that came from a full service breakfast with a drive thru. The moment I walked in I was greeted courteously. I waited in line to place my order. I ordered a three egg breakfast (comes with hash browns and toast). They asked how I wanted my eggs!!!! (Over easy, please!) The seating area looks very diner-ish (cushioned seats and booths, cheesy/country wallpaper, faux - sun faded curtains). The front counter looks like a mcdonalds/Carl's junior/typical fast good counter. I sat and within 5 minutes my food was served to me with a smile, piping hot. The waitress /host pointed out the condiments layed out on the table and refilled my coffee (served in a diner style mug). I finished my meal within minutes and had time to hang out in a comfortable setting while I waited for my meeting. I love this place. I mean i'm sure there are a few restaurants with decent food but I go here because there is a really sweet young lady named Maria. She's so nice to us every time. My friend has a really thick accent and every time she orders at a drive-thru or (even in person) and people tend to lose their patients with her because she's kind of hard to understand, but NOT here. Maria really takes the time, she treats her with respect like a family member because shes very patient to make sure she got the order correct no matter how difficult my friend is to understand. I would give this place a 3.5, rounded up.I had their cheeseburger and it actually wasn't bad. It was a decent size, and didn't taste too oily. They also have these fried zucchini sticks that were actually pretty good as well. However, I'm rounding down because of the salad and the breakfast. The good thing about this place is that they do serve breakfast all day, so if that's your thing you can come here. But I will warn you that their breakfast isn't great. My dad got the 3 eggs breakfast with sausage and hash browns and it was okay. The hash browns weren't oily, but they were pretty tasteless. My mom got the Cobb salad, and the salad didn't taste that fresh in my opinion. The food is great especially there salads but overall it can be over priced. If your coming with your family just know your going to be spending a lot but it can worth it! The only problem I have here is the fact that there is no ac and the fans are not working. Its only getting hotter day by day but once you walk in there it feels just like it does outside! This was the worst FBoys I have gone to so far. I had to give it a star I wouldn't have but in order for me to post I had to. I waited for my food for a while and when it came I was so disappointed. I left hungry I order the French toast breakfast and this is what I got. First of all where are the eggs the bacon was cold and the f. Toast were soggy as heck. I let them know I wanted my money back because as you can see my silverware was dirty and only noticed when I cut into my onion rings and my son pointed it out. I got so grossed out. The manager then came over I let him know what was wrong and he didn't even apologize said he would give me my money back. He asked if I wanted to order something different and I was like no way. And he just said ok come back soon. I was like oh no especially after the way came at me. He didn't even introduce himself. I had to ask if he was the manager which I didn't ask for and I had mentioned the situation to the waitress 2 times. Maybe cause she saw me take pics is why he came out. Oh Farmer's Boys. I've heard good things about you over the years. Then for a month at my new job. Now I've finally had you and have mixed feelings. I ding you the 4th star for price and price alone. So. I went with a buddy of mine because I forgot to bring my lunch to work and I decided today's the day I'll try the place. I got chili cheese fries and a bacon cheeseburger. It was $9 and change for just two things ;| Seeing that price I opted for water instead of a soda to boot. I will give it to farmer's boy's on quality. The chili was hearty and tasty, the cheese they used didn't get ally soggy, melted and disgusting looking, it held its form. The fries were just the right thickness, not to thin not to thick with potato guts but a nice balance in between. The bacon cheese burger ( I got mine plain) tasted how any other burger you expect to taste. Nothing special enough to distinguish from others that would make me seek it out. The meat they used was good quality and the bun was toasted. I was really satisfied with the food but not for $9. Maybe for $7 or $8 but $9 was well beyond my acceptable threshold of cost for a fast food place for just two items at lunch time. I can't imagine eating here everyday, it would totally sack your lunch budget for the week. If I do decide to come back, I'm going to come back with coupons. read more

Food was ready pretty quickly and plated very clean and neat. The toast of the Turkey bacon melt was perfect and then sandwich was great, really fresh tasting. My girlfriend ordered chili cheese fries and I'm not a fan of chili but I actually liked it. And yes, I've eaten at Tommy's. The staff was really friendly and quick to clean up tables.
