It's our neighborhood place and we love it. The parking can be tough, but they did just expand the area out front. That entire plaza is tough for parking, but not the restaurants fault. The food is all amazing and the staff treat us great. It does get a little busy sometimes and waits for drinks can take a bit. Gary Rack's Farmhouse Kitchen has excellent food! Everything I've tried has been high quality, fresh & full of flavor. My personal favorite is the Buffalo Cauliflower but I recommend ordering whatever catches your eye on the menu cause they know how to cook. The indoor dining area is on the smaller side, so it's not ideal for larger groups but they have a spacious patio that's especially enjoyable during Florida's cooler months. They also offer a nice wine selection and in my experience, the staff has always been friendly and attentive unless it was super busy. Came here for a brunch with a larger group and found it all a bit disappointing. To no fault of the restaurant, weekend parking is hard to come by - some folks had to park a couple blocks away. Food was okay, but sadly nothing special worth returning for. Best thing was the biscuit. The most disappointing was how they ran the restaurant. Our server did her best with our larger table, but there were plenty of other servers and managers inside the restaurant in meetings or doing side tasks like rolling silverware. We were left waiting a few times and with all the extra hands, it would've been nice to get a little more attention given that the restaurant was pretty empty. MASSIVE MEATBALLS... Another Boca Raton happy hour extravaganza in Royal Palm Place with my wife. Most of the restaurants and bars just outside of Mizner Park offer deep discounted happy hours. Taking into consideration the off times of happy hours, most of the customers are either on vacation, retired or got off work early, so its not packed, exactly how we like it. The Farmhouse Kitchen has been on our radar for a few months and today the experience was worth the wait. We were cheerfully greeted at the door by two friendly hostesses and the manager, Andres, who pointed us in the direction of the bar and explained the happy hour deals, which were phenomenol. The bartender, who said his name was simply "J", provided us menus loaded with comfort foods and cocktails. My wife's eyes were instantly glued to the giant Wagyu Meatball and thats exactly what we ordered. "J" said that it was widely eaten and absolutely delicious. While waiting for our highly anticipated meatball, my wife ordered her usual Aperol Spritz and I had an ice cold "Single in Havana" craft beer by Barrel of Monks Brewing. The large wall of assorted wines and beers was rousing but the coal fire ovens were center stage. Enthralled by the pizza maker sliding fresh pizzas in and out with a giant spatula, producing a strong aroma of each pizza creation that produced a smile on my face. My bowl of one giant Wagyu Meatball arrived and we took a quick sniff at first then a bite into the moist meatball lightly covered in a zesty tomato sauce sprinkled with parmesan cheese & basil ricotta paste. Im not going to exaggerate, this meaty ball was just a burst of bliss. The bathroom continued the Farmhouse theme with the withered driftwood floors and half way up the walls. Colorful wall posters of old Italy food, music and arts surrounded the room. Not only was the food and service by Andres, Max and "J" amazing today, but EVERYTHING on the menu except for specialty drinks were 1/2 off. I had to try it and I'm glad I got re-introduced the restaurant is always just the way it was good parking nearby. The waitress was excellent Cypress G. I had the salmon nice piece of salmon with succotash great taste. We also had a pizza. We had a hamburger and we had a chicken dish. We had a cauliflower appetizer. It was so good. Farmhouse is a great little spot for lunch or brunch. We went for a farewell lunch and had a great time. It's a rustic little place next to Mizner Park and everyone is extremely friendly from the moment you walk in through your exit out of the place. Sarah was our server and she was so very sweet and attentive. We went in for a quick bite. I am obsessed with Buffalo cauliflower when it's done right and they have this down to a science. Please note that we asked for the Buffalo and ranch on the side bc my dining partner has sensitivity to spicy foods. We appreciated Sarah giving us the option to have sauces on the side. I have had this before here and can tell you that the cauliflower is typically tossed in the Buffalo sauce and set on top a layer of ranch and it's amazing either way. We also ordered a chicken Caesar and here is where they got the one star ding. Sarah asked if we wanted avocado on our salad and we said, "sure". The salad came out and it was beautiful. It your traditional Caesar as there are tomatoes inside but it was absolutely delicious......until we got to the rock hard avocado slices. I do not know how that avocado made it out of that kitchen. I had to push the knife so hard to cut it. It was harder than an apple and completely inedible. The fabulous Sarah came by and agreed and immediately took it off of the bill but I seriously don't know how that was plowed on the plate. They had to have had a hard time cutting into that thing in the back. Let not dwell on the one avocado incident though. Overall, Farmhouse is inviting farm to table food and we really enjoyed it. They have the best happy hour menu! Prefect for sharing meals and trying everything. We dropped in before an event. We sat on their cute patio with umbrella tables. We started with the buffalo cauliflower which definitely had a kick to it. Normally buffalo isn't actually spicy. Then came the kale salad. So many flavors all at once. For the main, we split the short rib with grits. I was a little apprehensive about the grits since I'm from the south. We know grits! They were actually really good! I was impressed. I went to Gary Rack's Farmhouse only to find out that it is temporarily closed and I heard that it was due to a small kitchen fire. I should have known it was closed when I drove into the Royal Palm Place shopping center and was easy to get a parking space. This was disappointing and I'm looking forward to the re-opening because it's hard to find better pizza in Palm Beach County as well as just about every item on the menu. Looking forward to the excellent appetizers, especially the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Zucchini Chips. Pastas are also good as is the Braised Short Rib and they serve a solid burger with excellent fries. Great service, good drinks and reasonable prices too. Hope they re-open soon. read more

We came in a Saturday around 5pm. Only for drinks though as we had dinner reservation elsewhere. The restaurant was not too crowded. We were told the entire menu was 50% off from 4-7pm happy hour time. Great! We had a total of 4 drinks. My last drink was no where to be found just like the server. We had to ask someone else to check in the drink and they came back with it quickly. So how long was the drink just sitting at the bar for? The mojito and lychee martini were ok. I would've been mad if I had to pay full price for this. The drinks weren't crafty. Tastes like something I could've gotten from Chili's. The stubborn mule drink was prob the best one. That was crafty and worth the pricing. We had to leave to catch our dinner plans and had to rush pay. Not thinking, we tapped our card and did the least 22% and left. Comes to find out later, they are slick! They charge you the tip based on a full price menu and not on the happy hour price. So please watch your bill and do custom tip instead. We were not aware of this and were disappointed given the absent service we received. Basically we tipped over 25 % on our bill instead of the lesser. Sooo, I've been in south Florida for 10 years now and haven't found really good pizza! Who would've thought that a farmhouse kitchen would have amazing pies! The crust is probably the best part, thin, crunchy, but not burnt, just the right amount of sauce and loaded with tons of toppings! It's our new go to for pizza night! Here are my gripes: -We ordered a pizza as an appetizer and two entrees. They brought everything out at the same time. Why?! Didn't want to make a scene, but did they need to rush us out? -The short rib was gross. The burger, which they're apparently known for, was a greasy mess -My wife has allergies. I told the waitress. They were ignored. Luckily, we had no issues or reactions, but this is NOT ACCEPTABLE -Wife's cocktail was full of cucumber pulp. Kind of gross -For dinner service, you're going to have lots of disgruntled older folks here. Yes, it's Boca, but even still. Hostess told us there were only 4 tables available for happy hour so we would need to order only from regular menu. She was rigid about it even though we were going to order from both menus -we thought this was so ridiculous to restrict to only four tables when the night before there was no restriction! We left and ate at a nearby restaurant. Hostess was rude and dismissive. Too bad because the same woman was nice the day before. Won't hurry back - so many places to choose from in Boca! Skip this place. It was a Sunday night at 7pm and it was empty, and for good reason. We were seated by the hostess who said anywhere you'd like as it was empty. We waited a piece and the bartender came to take our order since he had nobody at the bar. We ordered two drinks off their cocktail list. He came back after 10mins with them to say he was out of two key ingredients for both drinks. The Lychee Martini was made with Coconut due to no lychee liqueur. I got the Paloma and again no grapefruit but way too much simple syrup. Epic fails on the cocktails. We got a margarita pizza to chase the drinks down with and it was okay. We wanted to get out and asked for the check and had to wait a while again....no idea why as it was still empty. The check was $63. I almost fell off my chair. 12" pizza for $25 and $18 drinks that were not good enough to pay $10 for - not as described in the drink menu - just a disaster. Wow just wow!! It's been a while since we had over the top service and delicious food all in one place. This is a place we are already setting up our next visit. Diana our waitresses was so attentive and full of great things to make our stay great. We ordered veggie burger, fish sandwich, tacos, Brussels sprouts, zucchini chips and the meat ball. The meat ball itself was so tasty. Spent a few hours with our guests enjoying drinking and eating and Diana made it even more fun. These choices she helped us pick made our night. The place is clean and no tvs and other loud stuff to take over the ability to talk and hear each other. We love it and will surely be coming back. Hopefully Diana will except us back. Just came from Farmhouse in Boca and I couldn't be more disappointed with not only the food but the manager as well who was a complete jerk! My burger that was ordered medium rare came out medium well! I sent it back and asked for a new burger to be made medium rare! The waitress was very kind and saw it was medium well! My next burger came out raw! I sent the second one back and literally said it needs to just go on the grill for a minute or two at the most! It arrived back at my table 15 minutes later completely well done! I wouldn't touch it but wasn't yet again ordering a new burger or anything at all! The other two people I was with had already finished their food before my second burger had even arrived! When we asked for the manager I told him the entire story! Firstly he insisted my first burger is "their medium rare"! I called his BS on that! He insisted my second burger should have been fine! I explained it was my first time there and I would never return nor would the other two people I was with! Sure he took that off the bill but that wasn't the point! I got up from the table and placed an order from a restaurant I frequent to have delivered to my apartment so that I have dinner tonight! read more

My wife and I were in town for a wedding, having just completed the dry-run rehearsal for the ceremony, and needed to have lunch. Given that my wife is celiac so she has to have gluten-free options, I happily discovered Farmhouse off of Mizner that gave my wife what she needed while I had a nice burger that brought me to a place of spiritual oneness. Given the plaza that Farmhouse is located, parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's a popular area to go dine, drink, and shop. Fortunately, we found a spot within a minute or so of arriving at the plaza, only a quick walk to Farmhouse. Upon arriving at the front greeting station, we found that most of the premium canopy tables were taken at the moment, while there were plenty of tables available inside. Naturally, because I am not always in the mood to deal with people (fortunately it wasn't peak lunch hour by this point), I opted for us to sit at one of the booth tables that was closer to the bar area. The interior was quite empty at this point of the day (2:30ish in the afternoon) but I dug the open layout with the kitchen area in full view next to the bar area so you can enjoy watching the food being cooked if you wanted to be close to the action. The Ghostly cocktail was quite refreshing, fruity, with a hint of heat to make my life feeling super sweet. I believed I downed a couple of those for good measure. I would highly recommend if you like a little heat in your cocktail since it does have ghost pepper in it (hence the name of the cocktail). My burger was blissful and delicious. I savored every bite of my burger as it brought me to a place of culinary enlightenment and sanity. I believe my wife had a some gluten-free flatbread that was also good, but I was more occupied with my burger, enveloping myself with its goodness. The fries were also good as I believe I devoured them when I had finished my burger. Our server was great and attentive. We had what we needed. The food was brought over fairly quickly. He made sure we had refills of water and cocktails. And I didn't feel like I lost my shirt with paying the bill. Technically, I expect to pay a little something something for lunch with multiple cocktails for both my wife and I, and the bill was reasonable. I don't make my way to Boca that often (of course that could change thanks to the Brightline) for wining and dining, but that could change especially when you have restaurants like Farmhouse. read more

So the family and I decided this weekend will visit Boca Raton, we heard of amazing food establishments. This weekend we chose the Farmhouse Kitchen. The staff is great except for a few perks. You felt the vibes that they don't see other ethnicities too often. But we aren't here for that, let us stick to the script it's about food. We started the table off with the zucchini chips (highly recommend) even our boys loved them. For the table entrées, the boys shared the cauliflower margarita pizza, and my mother-in-law order the grilled salmon wasn't tasteful and in need of some loving seasoning. My wife enjoyed her cauliflower veggie pizza. I enjoyed my mushroom tacos. They were a hit, not to mention the waiter went out of his to create a café con Leche (not on the menu). For dessert, we chose what was seasonal the strawberry shortcake (highly recommend). Overall our experience was phenomenal as I mentioned before a few tweaks that were just human nature at times. But that never stops us from enjoying our family time. The decor is simple but hip, and the staff that attended us were great. Would love to have given a 5-star review but I won't hold Farmhouse Kitchen for something they may not be aware of. But then again they should be aware of it. This definitely can be an establishment to be reckoned with but sometimes the staff can hold you from moving forward to accomplishing greatness. Happy hour is everyday until 7 pm but in select areas so make sure you ask. HALF OFF: All Wines by the glass, and Liquor. We got Crispy Zucchini Chips with lemon caper yogurt which was AMAZING! Went for Mother's Day. Booked reservation a week in advance. Only problem was when we got there only outdoor seating available. It was 90 degrees in the shade and was hot. That said the food was very good. I had the Farmhouse burger that was excellent along with truffle fries. All the meals looked delicious and everyone of our party enjoyed their meals. Our server Igor was awesome and quite personable. The only problem is they appeared a bit understaffed and it took awhile to get drink refills especially the bottomless mimosas which my wife probably could have drank a few more had they been prompt with the service. Absolutely delicious first experience at Gary Frank's last night where they deliver on their promise of "Just Good Food" and then some! Just off the Brightline and new to Boca Raton, I wasn't as hungry as I thought but something told me to keep my rez. As I walked up to this lively restaurant, I knew I would be glad I did. My server, Max, was great and recommended the Daily Refresher to start (I didn't want any alcohol). Perfection in a glass - a fruity concoction with coconut water that you will fight yourself NOT to finish in one go. The brussel sprouts appetizer with seasonal fruit and goat cheese was so good and the fish tacos with avocado were even better. Plenty of gluten free options here at Farmhouse where you may wait a few minutes longer than usual, but the freshness and taste of the food will tell you why. All items are featured in the photos in this review. For our main courses, the veggie burger was cooked well, and the truffle fries with added truffle oil were a standout highlight of the sides. The side of tomatoes with basil, oil, and salt seemed to be lacking the salt and they had very little oil on them as shown on the picture. While the food itself was good, we felt that the presentation could have been improved, and the overall dining experience didn't quite reach the elevated level we anticipated.
