Down at the shore for a weekend getaway with my lovely fiancé. We always try a few new places whenever we go somewhere and Fast Eddie's had good reviews on Yelp already, so away we went! Our server Paige (spelled like my granddaughter so if wrong sorry) was very friendly and helpful with ordering. Always a great start when your server seems to enjoy her work and makes you feel good about coming to a place. My lovely partner in crime went with the Crabby Burger and onion rings while I decided on a Cuban Quesadilla from the app menu and a Crabby Chesapeake flatbread. Cuban Quesadilla was awesome, just like the previous reviews stated. I think it is a great version of one of my favorite sandwiches. The Crabby Chesapeake flatbread was a hit for both of us. In all honesty, I only ordered it because my lovely lady couldn't choose between the Crabby Burger and the flatbread. I am very glad I did. Crispy flatbread and great sauce made it awesome. We both demolished the Crabby Burger and onion rings too. Burger was cooked perfectly and the crab dip was filled with crab and greatly complimented the burger without overpowering. Highly recommended like the flatbread and Cuban. Go crazy!! My lush of a fiancé also gives a big thumbs up for the Orange Creamsicle Crush. I saw a handful of those disappear too! I am ok with it though. Normally means a great night for me!! Also wanted to give a big shout out to the very helpful runners Angelina and Alyssa! Hope I spelled their names correctly! Everyone on the staff seemed to pitch in and help each other. Teamwork makes the dream work! Enjoyed the band that played as well. Sounded great! Fitzkee Brothers was the name. Folsom Prison rendition was "bussin bussin" (as my weirdo future sis in law Nicole would say)! I guess that's what the kids say these days. I can't believe I'm just finding this place ! I my wife and my friends went to see the "Schizophrenic Boogeymen " play . The band is a treat like none other if you want to hear The Doors , Steely Dan , Santana , The Beetles and on and on but the food was excellent . We had Smash Burgers but everyone loved what they got . The service was the next star to the Band . Excellent from all ! What a night ! The bathrooms were clean as was the entire club . One of the best meals I've had in a while! I highly recommend the fries topped with crab and cheese! Delicious. I also got the Orange Creamsicle Crush and it did not disappoint! This is a really fun place to eat if you like live music. It was a little loud for some of the kids we were with, but the band definitely knows how to rock. Their lead singer was The food was also great. The fish tacos were really good...the smash burgers were great, but I always compare them to a place in NY that there's no beating. We ended up at Fast Eddie's because the place we were originally going to go had a 90-minute wait time. There was a comedian doing a somewhat raunchy set (not great for the 7 year old) inside so we ate outside. We could see fireworks (yay!) but got bitten up by mosquitoes (boo!). Chairs were bar height and made of flimsy metal, which made it super difficult to scootch up to the table. THAT SAID, the food was delicious! I got the shrimp po' boy and shared half; it was easily the best dish of the night but even the kid's cheeseburger was really good. We'll definitely eat here again. read more

Went here with a large group of family and we were all very impressed with everything. The food and drinks were great, the service was fast and friendly, the prices were fair, there was plenty of parking in the shopping center, and even live music. You really can't ask for more from a restaurant in OCMD. The only potential downside is that it can get a bit loud inside if you're there while a band is playing. Even then, you could request to sit outside. We're definitely making this a place we visit regularly. read more

I ordered a crush (honestly don't remember the flavor) buy it was tasty. We started with old bay wings. They came out piping hot and delicious. Before we could finish them our entrees were out. Again, piping hot! The chargrilled shrimp were very flavorful and the asparagus was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Hubby had the brisket which je enjoyed. I guess you have to know the owner if you want a table when you walk in. We were told 45mins wait and that was fine. 3 girls walked in was told 1hr. The girl goes and talks to someone that was working and got seated right away. I approach the guy and I asked, you just told them an hour. Why did they get seated? Was told they know the owner. So, they lost us right from the get-go when they brought out the packets of Ken's commercial cocktail sauce. Boy, this was a first. If we were in Indiana, I'd say that makes sense. But here in seafood central?? What kind of kitchen does this? The steamed shrimp were a mix of tiny and big. Again, a skilled kitchen knows these cook at different times so some were over and some were under. Again, this was a first. We've had big, we've had small, but we've never experienced such a drastic mix. The tacos were inedible-an overwhelming vinegar flavor. The smash burger was mealy and mushy with no char or crispy edges (the whole point of a smash burger) On the positive side, service was excellent. Heard about this place decided to check out their happy hour. Was all good with the drink and food until I saw the bartender Grace I believe was her name constantly running her hands threw her hair and then putting lemons limes oranges in peoples drink. Handling people plates and silverware when they ordered food. I understand trying to look good but she needs to either pull her hair back or wash her hands. If she is there I won't order from her. Decided to go today (happy 4th) and so glad we did. Blake was on stage from 5 to 8. Great happy hour specials on both food and drinks. Carina was tending bar/our server. She was super nice. The place was great and definitely can accommodate large parties. There are so many great options to choose from. We got a couple of apps - cheese fries with bacon & crab dip. Not sure why the negative reviews as a local oc resident this place has great light continue drinking food. The smash burger is killer and u don't have to lay down after eating it. Best uptown burger I've had and if u are a fan of pickles pub downtown the food is equally as good. Sometimes you just have to be patient everywhere in oc is short staffed so relax if u want another drink order it before u are done grab a smash burger a white or green tea shot and just relax. read more

Decided to try this new place. Looking forward to it. We are not one time vacationers. We own a condo and recommend places to our renters. Liked the way they remodeled. Smaller bar from before which made way for some high tops. Ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. Our bartender walked past us numerous times. Never asked if we wanted to order. We spoke out loud 3 or 4 times that we would like to place an order and she ignored us every time. I understand a lot of places are short handed and we are very accommodating in that respect. But the bar area was only 50 % and there were 2 people behind the bar. We asked for our tab and told her why we were leaving. Not planning on going back this season. Let's see how the staffing is next year. read more

We thought the food was good and the service was accommodating for the neighborhood bar. A guy who had ordered a crab cake loudly complained about how there was no lump and how terrible it was. The service was terrible! Our waitress basically got everything wrong and barely apologized for any of it. She never told us there was a kids menu even though we had children with us and said we were ordering for children. Gave me the wrong drink, gave my husband an extremely greasy sandwich and came to check in once after the food was delivered. The food was subpar and the atmosphere was okay. We didn't take pics! But this place is fairly new and after enjoying an excellent meal, we wanted to post! We had steamed shrimp, cuban quesadillas, fish tacos and crabby Chesapeake flatbread. Everything was so good! Also, split crab dip and Nola shrimp for appetizers and the Nola Shrimp was dreamy. Service was great too! Enjoying live music that started at 8pm.
