i recently celebrated a birthday at Fate on 7th Street & we were treated like royalty! well, except no crowns like you can get at Burger King. about 15-20 of my friends showed up & our server was great. Mike I think is his name. he stayed on top of everyone's orders & made sure everyone had the alcohol they wanted. I didn't have any food, but it looked & smelled delicious. I heard zero complaints from my friends. i emailed Fate about 10-ish days before the event to make sure they were aware of the event so they could be staffed appropriately and to insure we were all able to sit next to each other. 14/10 would do it again. read more

Went here for a quarterly office meetup event. They have a conference room on the side so good for small team events. Have a small outdoor area with some fun game setups. I would say not the very usual brewery setup but it feels modern and fancy. Has a parking lot outside but I won't be surprised if that gets full often. Coming to beer and drinks, the options are nice overall. Tried 2 beers and both tasted nice and fresh. However, my experience with old-fashioned was pathetic. Maybe one of the worst old-fashioned I have ever tried. Food was bar food and did not have a chance to look into any other food menu that they may have had. The staff was nice overall. I would not mind going here again. It is a fun place to be and has great beer options for sure. read more

Has a less than favorable experience at another Fate location so the owner reached out to me and offered gift cards to give them another try. Happened to be in the area nearby the central Phoenix location decided to give them another chance. I am so glad I did. The service was fast and very attentive. The beer choices were robust and food was very fresh and flavorful. This particular location has a larger indoor presence compared to the others so cannot speak for the outdoor patio here but it was a wonderful experience and will return as our schedule allows. We always love coming to Fate this is our go to spot! Ever since they opened we frequently come here for great food and drinks. The service is always excellent, and it's a big restaurant for large gatherings. They always keep it clean and it's a fun vibe! My favorite part is the games outside, I love a bar where I can play some corn hole, ping pong, and foos ball. We enjoyed the pretzel appetizer, they have a great Cabernet Sauvignon and my boyfriend loves their beer. I tried the fried chicken sandwich which wasn't my favorite, it came with sauce but I feel like the breast itself was a little dry, it was okay. We also tried their corn bread fritters which were alright, just a personal opinion I'm not a fan of jalapeño, it wasn't spicy but the taste wasn't my favorite but a lot of people there rave about them. I've worked in customer service and didn't want to even call back because I felt back and understood it was 7:30pm rush but truly appreciate the customer service. Love yall. Have been to Fate many times and have always been really impressed with the above average bar food and good customer service. I really like their Irish Red Beer and the simple industrial look of the interior. We always sit at the bar with great experiences, BUT when we went on Thanksgiving Eve, the bar server Brittany had dirty rags in several areas along the bar, the most disturbing one was the dirty bar rag by the POS ( right in front of where we sat), so no only did we have to look at the dirty, damp bar rag all the time we were there, but e also saw Brittany touch the rag, and then go pour some beers, touch rag again, type on POS, etc.. Then we saw her empty the trash can and then pour more beers, make drinks and hand food plates to customers. Not once did she wash or even alcohol off her hands. Saw plenty of peppy servers hugging each other and high-fiving each other, but not one could take those gross dirty bar rags away or out of sight? I might not come back, good bar hygiene is not being observed there. Maybe Brittany needs re-educated? Ps there was obviously no decent manager on shift the night before Thanksgiving? Recommendation from a local because I've hit up so many other brewpubs! Huge bar so I found a spot on a somewhat busy lob day night where the pizzas are only $10! I opted for the chicken club which was a bartender recommendation, and liked it! Juicy grilled chicken with toast, some veg, and a spicy sauce they brought it all together! Sweet potato fries were a nice complement but would have liked them crispier. Tried about 8 beers and several were hits! Ambiance is industrial picnic, service was distracted, and prices are in line e we it's expectation... great joint, it makes the list...I'll have to come back for the pizza! read more

We've dropped into fate brewing a few times and tried a variety of food. My biggest complaint is the seating is incredibly uncomfortable, particularly at the bench and stool seating. Ample parking is wonderful, though. The food is solid, service can be a little hit or miss depending on how busy they are. I really enjoyed the cornbread and the eggplant dip. I also sincerely appreciate the mocktail menu, the blackberry no heato is fun and refreshing. We'll keep dropping in! read more

Stopped in on a Friday for a happy hour with some friends celebrating a going away party. This location apparently was a new location in Phoenix. The ambience and service was nice. The waiter attentive and managed to get everyone drink and food orders out in a timely manner. Love having a Fate in midtown! We stopped in for lunch and beers on a Saturday afternoon and had great service at the bar (I wish I remembered our bartender's name!). Great place to visit for amazing food and beverages. I ordered the spicy margarita, extra spicy and was very disappointed as there was absolutely no spiciness to it at all. It tasted like a regular margarita. The hatch chili beer was very good with the taste of chilies. I had the drunken chicken with sweet potato fries. The chicken was lightly battered in tempura and cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful meat with ranch and cilantro jalapeño sauces to dip into. The fries were plentiful and good. The fried chicken sandwich was also tempura battered and piled high with avocado (added) cheese, lettuce and onion. This was delicious and cooked perfectly as well. The pizza was smothered in cheese and went down easily. There was live music playing and a nice night for a great meal. read more

We went here while on vacation last weekend and had a good experience while sitting at the bar. I ordered off the brunch menu and got the wings/pretzel deal with habanero honey sauce and they were quite delightful. I tried a couple local beers that were nice as well. The server was a little off today as you could tell something was frustrating her for the time we were there. So we did have some delays in getting some service but it wasn't terrible. The bathroom was clean and neat and the overall environment was very open and inviting. I can usually finishy meals but this was so much that I had to save a few wings from for a snack later that evening. And they were still quite good cold. I'd like to visit again and try some other dishes whenever I return. read more

We hosted a graduation open house for our son in The Den private room at Fate on 7th street. The entire process from beginning inquiry to paying the tab after our event, could not possibly have gone better. Over email, Kerby was responsive, friendly and professional, going out of her way to accommodate our needs for the event. She set us an ease assuring us that every detail would be in place since we were coming in from out of state. When we arrived, the space was all set up for us with tables reserved nearby. Mike was our server and he was amazing! He stayed completely on top of all of our various orders and consistently checked in on us throughout the night. He was friendly and contributed to the fun of an already great atmosphere. The icing on the cake was the delicious food enjoyed by all ! Went with a friend who had a long wait over and decided on this place. The vibe is very young, but glad to see a wide age range of folk in the game area as well as inside. Ribs were incredible as well as the burger. However the Gluten Free pizza was massively under cooked with something I would never say about a pizza. There was so much cheese and again because it was under cooked, the cheese was not melted. Typically. Good for small and large parties .it was such a beautiful night for them to have the doors open, nice breeze and tons of TVs to watch sports. Good music, not too loud. Food was delicious! Tried Fate brewing last night. It's such a large, open space...plenty of room for large parties. Great selection of local, craft beer. Tried the pretzel and corn fritter appetizers. Pretzel with cheese is aaaaamazing, light, fluffy and the cheese is like a queso - with a bit of spice! Corn fritters were like a cornbread muffin - good too but a lot of bread for an appetizer. We tried the hatch green chili burger and Reuben sandwich. Upgraded to sweet potato fries (normally served with chips). Delicious but a little greasy on the Reuben. Service was just okay - our waitress almost seemed bothered that we weren't ready to order yet. Could def kick up the customer service a bit. Atmosphere is nice, great outdoor space with games...reminds me a bit of The Yard. read more

I love that they put games out front for your recreation. Cornhole, fooseball and ping pong pair perfectly with their assortment of craft ales. I came in with my family on a Saturday evening, was not too crowded at about 530PM. I had ordered the ahi salad which was very refreshing. Although I wish there was more Ahi and less dressing as it did get a bit soggy. My kids ordered the wings and guac for appetizers which were big hits. They had the original burger and the fish and chips. The fish I tried, and it was malty and crispy. I would recommend to ask for lemon wedges and/or some malt vinegar to go with it in the future. My sister had the smoked chipotle ribs which I found to be rather unflattering. The meat was a little overdone and the sauce was very thick and overpowered the flavor of the pork. I can't remember the name, but it came in like a cognac glass, it felt like, you know, a bit too expensive for 3-5 oz of beer. I don't know what the size was but an awfully small glass, I expected a pint. It was tasty so I did keep ordering it. The service was really good. The ambiance nice for lunch time. I was looking for a hazy IPA and fell upon this gem! I went way out of my way and was not disappointed! Upon walking in, I was greeted by Jesse at the bar while I found a seat. He asked what kind of beer Ie as wanting to taste and brought me the house best first - False Promises Hazy IPA! Every single taster he brought me was unique and flavorful in its own right! The draft selection is AWESOME! and they do rotate seasonally so stouts and porters to come in the fall! Mondays they have $10 12-inch gourmet pizzas and they are delicious! Everything was clean and when i used the restroom, it could have been me and my excitement about my experience but the hand soap smelled like banana taffy! Loved it! Overall I give Fate a 10!
