Robert was amazing and very easy to work with. I thought I booked my move for 6/27 but didn't realize I hadn't confirmed the details. It was my fault and I was frantic! Robert scheduled the move for the next day and Alex and his crew showed up ready to work. They were professional and they filled the truck very strategically. It was an amazing puzzle. We have a solid wood Cal- King bedroom set that they refer to as the 'Beast'. They were able to get the 'Beast' up very narrow stairs and they set it up for us along with bringing up other furniture & multiple boxes. All we needed was to put our linen on the 'Beast'. Being that i had wrapped the drawers and packed everything, it was in boxes, or in bags, in the garage... i am disappointed in the amount of time the 4 movers took to just load the truck. I only give 2 stars because one of the movers, pasha, was working hard and helped the most in moving stuff into the apartment. I moved from a 3 bed one level to a 3rd floor 2 bed apartment with an elevator. It took them 11ish hrs to complete the job. They placed almost everything in the living room- not where they were labeled for and it took us another day to have a livable area. My sister and I were also helping unload the truck as it was getting late and things didn't seem like they were moving. They get paid hourly so it felt like they just were dragging on purpose. I paid and even tipped because of the one mover that i felt was diligent in his job but i wouldn't hire or recommend them to anyone. read more

We used a broker and ended up with these guys. They pressured me into giving a video review when they packed up our things, I wish I'd insisted on waiting for delivery. I don't like to give negative reviews, I typically try to see the good in others, so I commented on what was good. They were respectful and seemed to take care of our things. I was unhappy that they left several things that were in our original quote (a couch and patio set) and no adjustment was made to our bill. I had already taken several large items off our manifest so I'm skeptical that it wasn't less than quoted. There was no way for me to verify the weight as the closest scale was too far. They had said my couch was too big to move through my hallway, yet a week later 3 of my friends were able to remove it with ease to take it to be donated. We couldn't inspect our items until several weeks after delivery and are only now seeing that they weren't as careful as I had thought. Several things are broken, hardware is missing, and many of my fragile boxes that had directional instructions were ignored and stacked upside down with heavy things on top. They were unpacking as our house was being finished and I had to ask them multiple times not to stack boxes in the way of the workers. Moving is stressful enough, it was clear this team was inexperienced and didn't care that I'd have to replace what they wouldn't pack or packed carelessly. I would not recommend this company. read more

We had an amazing experience with Father and Sons moving company. We had the pleasure of working with Ihsan and 2 other movers. They moved us from LA to the Palm Desert area last week and they did an amazing job. Our apartment was tricky with stairs, a long walk to the elevator, and a small elevator to take down to the truck. They were always working hard and got the items loaded quickly. We had fragile items, including 4 large TVs and everything was handled with care. So I am REVISING a SMALL FIX for them with 2 more stars and after we spoke today when I first posted my review. But here's my experience with them on 7/28/22. After my mothers passing. I needed to move my mothers things from her home of 30+ yrs. LOTS of things left behind and given to her sisters whom temporarily still stay in the home. The company is very Dishonest. I was quoted $159. ph for 4 guys + $79. gas fee + double my miles if over 10. I was 32miles on a Thurs. move. LIED AND FALSE ABOUT HIDDEN charges YES they are CHARGED. I setup the move with Robert he is totally unprofessional. He said he would call after I emailed 2 times the address this matter. I still have not received my receipt which was to be emailed after done/Paid. They billed and falsely charged me. I paid $1600. cash for 6 hours of local moving with 4 guys, I disputed the charges and the worker said he just works there. It was very little wrap/packing ( NO Kitchen ) 1 full bedroom of a 3 bedroom home, take down of small hospital bed, load medical equipment, 1 80inch Tv wrapped only not to load on truck. DRM.-table/6 chairs, Lg P-FirePlace only from LRm. 1 32inch Tv/dvd player and maybe 2 lg boxes of movies they packed, L shape sofa tv-table/w drawers from Den. 2 small closets packed in my own 2 wardrobe boxes I provided I packed one and they did one. Large BBQ-pit. and half of already packed garage things. Lots of talking on the phone 3 guys both locations when they should have been working because they were on the clock. Absolutely a horrible moving company! They managed to damage my bed and it arrived smelling horribly. They also managed to lose three pieces of my furniture, a coffee table, my television stand and my television. Not only did they lose my furniture, they managed to bring other peoples belonging with no intention of of picking them up. After trying to contact them several times about my items they have completely ignored and wont even return my calls. I filed a claim with the brokers who booked this moving and after two months of back and forth they finally decided to send me a statement letter finalizing my claim for 75$?!!! My television alone is worth $500. I thought they had to be joking and theres no way a respectable company can deem that amount to acceptable for the damages and losses. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother. Absolutely immature and irresponsible. I will be seeing you guys in court! You will reimburse me for the items you lost! read more
