I like Lebanese quisine and I am a regular customer at Fatima Halal Meat Market, on Florence Avenue in Bell, CA. But that is not the reason I am giving a 5 star review here. Fatima's Grill is like an extension to their Meat Market. I have tried almost every Arab/Lebanese eatery in Orange County and Mr. Ali and his food beats them all. And here's why...Mr. Ali and his staff are very caring and attending to my needs and wants. I sometimes even tell them how I want my food made and they oblige. For the price I pay for the food, this is a quality that I value. Expect the same treatment for yourself also. The quality of the food is home cooked and nothing beats that. The sauces they use, you cannot find them any where else in Southern California. Their spices are not one fits all dishes, like you find in most restaurants today. Their salads, hummus and tabbouleh are all homemade. This gives their food a distinct Lebanese authenticity that I have not found anywhere else, yet.They are small now, but I am hoping for them to grow in the future. But the thing I like the most about these guys is that I can call in advance and have specialized Lebanese foods made for me. For example, grilled chicken, makluba, kibbeh and bulgur. These I have already ordered and had made. So go and try these guys out. Lebanese cuisine is one of the most healthiest in the world. Decided to see what all the hype was about this place. I stood in line for about 45 minutes then I ordered my food. After about 30 minutes my food came. Had their Carne asada burrito. Meat was hard. Taste like they save the left overs from the night before. I asked the owner if I can order something else because the burrito just did not taste right. The guy rolls his eyes and started to argue with me and said "it's an acquired taste you will get use to it." I was a bit surprised he was trying convince me to eat something I clearly did not like. As I was looking thru the menu to order something else this guy started arguing with another gentleman. I think he was a customer from the business next door because Fatimas was really packed and they were probably taking up space from the other business. Looks like this guy has a lot on his plate. Maybe since his business is so popular he should move it to the Promenade where there is clearly more space to handle his clientele. Any ways I guess that gentleman must of upset him so much he forgot about me. To much drama at Fatimas forget this place, it's only a burrito. He clearly has no approach on how to handle complaints and has no respect for his business neighbors.I just left and went to Tacos Gavilan. I gave 2 stars for the effort. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've tried at-least 15 different items off the menu and all of them have exceeded my expectations, by far. You can taste the quality of ingredients, the thought process behind them, and the creative thinking behind the dishes. This is the kind of place you share with your friends and family because the food just makes you feel different. Ali really has created a gem of a restaurant with Fatima's. I'm a 45 minute drive from this location and have no problem making the mission to grab a California burrito and specialty fries. It's worth it to me. Also, now that they are franchising, it may be my next investment. I'd invest in whatever Ali is up to. The dude has is all figured out. Ali is the man my brother is the main reason this strip mall does so well. The atmosphere is great, the food is always on point, and the staff is friendly. It feels like going to your brother's restaurant, where you don't have to worry about anything outside. Perfect spot for watching sports, going on a date, or even just hanging out on a rainy day. However, the customer service left something to be desired. You're required to order through a kiosk, which feels impersonal and inconvenient, especially if you have specific questions or preferences. Oddly enough, they can ring you up manually if you're ordering drinks, which makes the kiosk-only rule seem inconsistent. For a place that is heavily advertising that it's Lebanese fusion and it has a know-how of shawarma, this was some really chewy and bland meat. For the price, you'd expect they would give some more quality, leaner beef, but it was very fatty. The burger I had was decent and the fries seemed homemade and were excellent. Great place i am so happy i found this place. My family and I (of 5) only eat halal meat because our religion and usually have to travel around 20-30 minutes going to the restuarants we like. Just to find out that the best restaurant was right under our nose. The Food is beyond good. My son states its the best burrito he has ever ate and he ate alot of burritos from many places. My wife says the rice is perfect and the chicken kabob plate is awesome. They have amazing combination of fries as well like the shawarma piled fries. Already Sent plenty of people here. For my epic cheat day, i had the Hot Cheeto Burrito and my expectations were pretty high but this went beyond them. It was so good that I had to go back and pick one up for my brother, who also LOVED his!! Ali is THE MAN!!! He was so nice and welcoming. We are most definitely coming back and telling everyone. We had been eyeing Fatima's Grill for a very long time. Being that we are from NJ it's hard to find good variety in Halal food in the area. When we came to try Fatima's Grill the food was amazing! We had the Birria Crunchwrap and it was an 11/10. The meat was incredible and the Birria consome was the perfect touch to the crunchwrap.
