The food is always good tasting but the service is horrible! Today, my brother and I went to eat lunch there and it took 20 minutes to get our food!! AND NO BREAD STICKS!!!! I've given this 3 stars, but it is a very mixed review- The good: the food we've ordered has always been pretty good. My orders are always right and the staff is nice. The bad: The drive thru is closed almost every time we come. It's actually a running joke between my husband "if the drive thru will be open today or not." It kind of defeats the purpose of fast food Italian. There is often a crowd of people waiting 15+ minutes or more to get the food because they are so severely understaffed. It really isn't the employee fault but the staffing is a serious issue that is affecting the service. Summary- decent fast food Italian, just don't expect to get fast. read more

This particular visit wasn't what I expected. I usually order chicken parmesan when I come here and did this time as well. I was really dissatisfied with this visit. The chicken that was with this dish was very stringy and tough. Could not hardly chew it. Usually it is very tender. And as far as the pasta that was with it was very dry. This is a regular lunch stop for me. As everyone mentions you can expect really good food that Fazoli's in known for. I always have an upbeat chipper attitude because I have been on the other side of that counter. My positivenes is always reflected back. There was only one issue and that was my poor communication skills one day. The manager went out of their way to fix my mistake at their expense, even with me wanting to make it right. Service is usually good, but this past experience was terrible. We ordered our food and waited almost 25 minutes to receive our food. We also noticed several guests that ordered after us received their meals well before we did. I almost got the impression they forgot we were here, we finally had to check on our food. The waitress named vanessa was extremely rude. She was making rude faces at customers behind their back throwing and slamming things. Every table in there was dirty and she didn't want to clean any of them. An old couple sat at a table that had plates and trash on it but it was the cleanest table there. Instead of the lady moving it out their way she made them move it. When she finally started to clean she huff and puffed and mumbled rude things under her breath. She throw something and knocked something off a customers table and said sorry someone wrote a rude note to me. But if she hadn't of been a bitch to everyone nobody would complain. If she hates her job that much maybe she should find a new one. She said under her breath bet they won't say anything to me. She's probably a minor so who is trying to catch a charge because of a brat? Terrible service WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION!!! Fazolis is the family's favorite restaurant. We love the baked spaghetti & baked lasagna..

We just ate there this evening after a 35 minute wait for our food. It was busy, but not that busy to have wait that long. They were severally understaffed for a Saturday night. We saw several people get tired of waiting and go back to the register for a refund rather than wait. My food was good once we got it but it was not really worth waiting for. We could have gone elsewhere a lot fancier and gotten better service. If you are in a hurry, not the place to go. read more

So I will preface this by saying that we like Fazoli's in general. We don't have any near us, so we usually try to hit one when we're on the road. The food is fast food Italian, which is as good as to be expected. The breadsticks however are awesome! On this particular visit to this particular location we ordered an additional dozen breadsticks with our order which we had planned on eating back at the hotel. When we got back we were missing half of our breadsticks. I called and after Ashley basically accused me of lying, said "Hold on, I'll take care of this." To which I held on for 31 minutes and 52 seconds and then she hung up on me. I called back but the phone went straight to voicemail after that. read more

Having been in the sales industry for 13 years and have utilized Fazolis from Atlanta GA to Knoxville TN as well as the small towns to Nashville TN were all a wonderful experience. I started to utilize the Fazolis in Knoxville and it was great until it changed management. The new management and owner were very disrespectful and belittle his employees right in front of the customers. I had many fazolis coupons and the new management told me they were not accepting them. I was 6 months pregnant and my husband and I came to eat lunch and the new owner interrogated me and questioned where I received the coupons then he said he would not accept it. I have used these coupons in GA and different cities in TN. It was extremely absurd and unprofessional. Food is great but I wish the Fazolis in Halls was still open. That place was incredible with some very friendly staff. read more

Food is fine, but for years there has been a problem with the temperature in this store. We ate here occasionally when visiting Knoxville (and before that while living in Knoxville), for years. The restaurant was always too cold. When approached about this (more than once), they always seem to have an excuse or talk about one side of the building being warmer than the other. They always treat your complaint as if it is a anomaly (when it is clear to any intelligent person that they know it isn't). This has been going on for years. So, we eventually stopped going, and until yesterday, did not return for quite some time (a couple of years at least). Our visit yesterday proved to us that nothing has changed. When we entered, we noticed that the heat was running, but it still felt drafty. So, we roamed around the dining room looking for the warmest location possible. We thought we found an OK place, but pretty soon (when the heat quit running), we were cold again (and I'm warm natured). We mentioned it to the girl who brought our food to us, and she said that the other side is warmer. She claimed that it was too hot one summer when I mentioned that this has been going on for a long time (probably a summer that we didn't eat there because we were boycotting the place.). (When we were eating there, we would show up on hot, summer days and the windows would be frosted and the restaurant was simply too cold to eat in and so we had to leave.) I pointed out to her how their thermostat (which is high up on a wall, in a side room, and locked in a case) said 66 degrees (on a cold, winter day). Busted. She reverted back to the "one side is warmer" line, because she had nothing better, and I said, "Yeah, it says 66, and so it probably could be turned up to 70". She began to be evasive and said, as she was walking away, "I'll see what I can do". Nope. It wasn't changed. My theory: The folks in the back are stubbornly keeping it cold in the dining room because it probably gets too hot in the kitchen. You know what they say, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!" Why should I freeze my buns off when I set own to relax and eat after spending hard-earned money so that you can stay comfortable on the job?! I'm calling headquarters. I know it is a franchise, but I have tried talking to the manager before. If they don't want to adjust the unit, then they need to put in two separate units: one for the kitchen and one for the dining area. Besides, why should one side of the building be warmer than the other, anyway? GET IT FIXED, AFTER YEARS! read more

Never again will I go back there!! I literally sat in the drive through for over 30 minutes. When I got to the window, the girl running the register tried to give me a water when I ordered Coke. When she finally gave me my food, my order was wrong. When I finally got her to open the window again after honking multiple times, she got very rude with me and grabbed my bag out of my hand so I asked for my money back. She looked right at me and yelled sarcastically, "Sure you can, why don't I do that" and threw my bag across the back counter. I have NEVER had someone be that rude in any restaurant or fast food place I've been. Sure I know fast food isn't the optimal customer service experience but she was so rude and disrespectful when I am the one who sat there for over 30 minutes for my order to be wrong!!! If I could I would give it zero. I don't care how good the food is, no fast food restaurant needs to keep someone waiting in the drive thru for over 50 minutes. I just started going to this place in the last year or so. What was I thinking!! My daughter loves the fettuccine alfredo so I go probably once every other week or so. In all those times, I might have gotten through the drive-thru in less than 25-30 minutes. Tonight was the worst!! I placed my order with only 2 cars in front of me. 30 minutes later I am at the window. She tells me the wrong price after I've handed over my money. I have to wait for her to re-open the window so I can tell her the amount is wrong. Then I wait another 10 minutes for her and another worker to discuss how to do the math to get me the correct change. Finally I get my one little fettuccine alfredo but no bread sticks. I wait another 5 minutes to get her to open the window again just to have her tell me to wait. By this time, my meal is cold but by god I'm getting those stupid bread sticks! Another 5 minutes and the window is opened by a different girl who quotes me someone else's price. I tell her I'm still waiting on bread sticks at this point for over 30 minutes. Finally the original girl hands them to me. I sarcastically say "Thanks" and they give me attitude. REALLY!!! I waited for almost an hour for a mid-range meal at best and no one offers an apology or a coupon? Have you ever noticed that the drive-thru isn't wide enough to pass the car in front of you. That's how they keep you there! I blame this whole experience on poor management. I could have grown and harvested the wheat, pounded it into flour, made and cooked the noodles, milked the cow for the sauce and still done it faster than Fazoli's. This experience was so bad that for the first time in my 53 years, I decided to write a review. Good luck to all of you who will still frequent this place. Bring a snack! read more
