My husband and I eat at Fazzi's all the time. The food is always fantastic. They serve the best Greek salad I've ever had. The Parmesan chicken is sooo good. And you can't go without tsanziki dip and soft, warm pita bread! The only reason I won't give it five stars is because the service is lacking. They do something odd: they have someone else get your drink order that is not your server. Even though they are right there and available you cannot order with them. They bring your drinks and then you have to wait a long time for a server to stop by and take your order. Why not just have the server get drink orders like every other restaurant? And have the servers be more speedy with greeting their tables. read more

I'm not sure what anybody else can gripe about. Authentic Greek made from a Greek family. Hmm. Either way you go, it's reasonable and delicious. The best part is, Greek isn't all they serve. Plenty of American and Italian dishes to satisfy any palate. Spinach pie? Freaking amazing. Their burgers are beautifully seasoned and cooked to order. Beware! They're huge. A JUNIOR Fazzi Burger is 1/2 lb. The kid's burger is 1/4. The only thing I don't love is their fries. Problem is, I don't like steak fries at all. However they have additional sides that make you say, "Steak fries who?" Delicious semi-Greek take on buffalo chicken salad. Saganaki is a must have app. Honestly have never had a bad meal here. Went to Fazzi's the other night. It looks kind of weird on the outside, but inside feels warmer and cozier. They were able to sit us right away since we had a reservation, which was nice. The prices are cheap! It's mostly Greek/Italian, but some of the things are completely made up. For example I had the Moussaka and I am sorry to say but it tasted really bad. Not the way it is supposed, believe me I know! The apps were good and cheap, we got the fried cheese, which I guess everyone orders since they make this big deal about it and burn it right in front of you, it's a little lame. Overall not a bad joint, especially if you don't know Greek food... I overheard some people saying "Oh my this is wonderful"... Yeah, they have no idea about real Greek food. I live in Boston, but was visiting family in Collinsville for the Thanksgiving holiday. We went to Fazzi's twice in 6 days I loved it so much. I stuck to the salads - gyro salad (greek salad with gyro meat) and the traditional greek salad with chicken. AMAZING!! These might be my favorite greek salads ever. We have tons of greek restaurants in Boston and this little mom & pop took the cake. I'm not sure if it is their greek dressing that makes it so great 0 it must be. The prices are also really reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone in the metro east area. Didn't get that 5th star simply because it looks kind of outdated and dirty on the outside and even the lobby area could use some sprucing up. The dining room also looks half finished. Fazzi's is one of my regular picks for dinner, close to home. It's a family owned business with good food. The service is meh, but good enough. Greek salad is yummy, and you always get way too much food, so you have some to bring home. I have been partial to the Fazzi's chicken dish, which is loaded with a cream sauce and mushrooms and GARLIC. It's very good, but so filling. Most recently, I had the chicken kabob - it was served with the Greek tzatziki sauce and a pita on way too much rice. Ate all but the rice; it was the perfect amount of food and very tasty. I always eat some of my daughter's french fries here - they are awesome. Menu is pretty large, with everything from traditional Greek dishes, to typical Italian, to fried chicken and fish specials. I've been getting the buffalo chicken Greek salad here since high school. LOVE IT. I've never bothered to try anything else (because I'm a picky eater and already found something I love, plus I moved away) but everything always looks/smells amazing. Anytime I'm in town I order my salad to go. I crave it and get my fix once a year when I travel home. Would definitely recommend. Not bad at all. Wouldn't recommend to order moussaka, since it tastes really weird (nothing close to what I ate in Greece, as well as fried cheese doesn't taste as it supposed to be). Sorry owners, but you should go to Greece to try it for yourself and fix yours after that. Greek salad, dolmades, and mushrooms are great! Big portions, great prices. I must be the only one that does not think this is a great place to eat since Fazzi's is always busy. Greek salad is not made with olive oil. Last time I ordered I gyro meat was dry. Husband ordered an Italian dish which tasted like it came out of a Chef Boyardee can. That sucks too. Only time I go there to be polite at someone else's suggestion. Rather go to Culver's. I do enjoy good restaurants. Friday's South, Boogie's to name a couple. Red Bar is good too if one goes early to avoid crowd and noise. read more

I go there for takeout often; really all I ever get is the gyros, because they are quite good. The service is... alright. Nothing really to complain about, but nothing to praise either; they get the job done. The only thing I do not like, is that whenever I order over the phone, and then go to pick my order, I have to wait for quite a bit for them to bring out the check and my food. You have to go over to the bar, you see, and it isn't consistently tended. So there are usually multiple people there picking up orders to-go, or ordering drinks, but only one person inconsistently serving them all. The takeout system could do to be improved, but all in all, the food makes it worth it, and I've nothing negative to say other than that. Also, I think the prices are quite reasonable, so that's a plus. read more

Excellent affordable restaurant with plenty of choices. I'm a fan of the gyro sandwich special, $8.99, which comes on a big, fluffy, chewy homemade bun. I like it better than the regular gyro sandwich, which comes on pita bread, because the pita gyro has just too much mead that overwhelms the bread, whereas the special has a good ratio. I also really like the tilapia, blackened or with their sauce ($13 $ $14). I like the chicken parmesan & cajun chicken too. About the only nit I've ever had is the pasta came come out a little on the overcooked side occasionally, but really, I've never had a bad meal there. One thing to note is if you order a saucy entrée with a side and don't want the sauce mixed in with your side, you need to ask that the side be placed on a separate plate, because otherwise they make no effort to keep the sauce separated from the side. read more

Amazing food! I love Fazzi's it's my favorite restaurant in Collinsville. Their food is great, the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I've loved nearly everything I've ever eaten there the only things I didn't like were the fried cauliflower because I don't care what you do to it I hate cauliflower! And the stuffed grape leaves because I apparently don't care for the flavor of grape leaves(even if the filling was tasty). If you love fried mushrooms you mush try Fazzi's mushrooms they are to die for. And if you are looking for something lighter the Chicken kabobs with rice is fantastic. I recommend Fazzi's to everyone looking to eat somewhere in Collinsville and so far no one I've recommended it to have been disappointed. read more

Food is great and prices reasonable. We've been there several times but won't return due to the unfriendly staff. Not one person cracked a smile. No refills and had to flag down waitress for the check. Check was basically thrown down in the middle of the table. What a shame! The food is really good!! The same unfriendly service 3 times. The worst service I have experienced in a long time! The food was very good but was overshadowed by the unpleasant waitresses. I asked for a drink refill, 5 minutes later still nothing, so I asked a different waitress, another 5 minutes passed so I asked again. Finally a different waitress brought drink refills and purposely filled every glass in the room before mine! read more

The food was good, I got a hamburger and fries. When I reviewed my credit card statement they had charged me $2.00 dollars more that what I signed on the credit card ticket. I would have never know this if I didnt check my statement closely. Be wary of using your credit card or you could get an extra charge. I will not be going back. read more

Fazzi's is the best place to go if you're in Collinsville. The food is tasty and the service is quite good. I'm super bummed that they no longer serve their hummus because it was the BEST hummus I'd ever had. The tzanziki and pita is also very good. Definitely try the pita. The gyro and Greek salad are fantastic and huge. In fact, all the portions are huge! The ambiance is weird...not very much like a restaurant. Just got back from Fazzi's restaurant. I am not happy with what has happened over the past year. When I first tried it (last year), I thought the food was fresh tasting and just made. Today it was greasy (Spanakopita), pre made and frozen ( bechamel sauce) on the moussaka , mushy (pasta con broccoli), and the roast beef sandwich tasted like cardboard, or nothing (which is better?) I hope they will do something to improve the quality of their food, because it was sad. My friend said the gyro was OK. We need restaurants in the area to maintain good quality of food. read more

Service is very quick and food is always fresh. Love their shrimp dinner. The shrimp are the size of my palm. The moussaka is excellent. The only negative is their drinks are expensive to the type restaurant they are. Also, they have a variety on the menu to please everyone in your group. It's good food for the price. read more

I really wanted to like this place haven't found a Greek restaurant yet that is as good as the one that use to be in the mall in St. Louis When I entered they had a sign that said wait to be seated so after I waited around for what seemed to be close to 10 min I flagged someone down to order take out and was hoping that this wasn't a bad sign... Ordered gyro plate plenty of meat but just tasted somewhat odd or a strong taste had maybe two tiny onion slices one thin puny tomato practically no sauce and the Greek salad was lettuce one thin sliced tomato one tiny black olive and way too sour for my liking ordered my wife a dish I can't spell she said it was fair also ordered baklava got one small triangle it was ok but not great and got the wife turtle cheesecake which she said was awesome total bill was 33.00 I don't think it was worth it still looking for an awesome greek restaurant to eat at read more

Discovered this one on a drive-by. When I went in at 4pm, I had the whole place to myself and I wasn't sure what to expect. Found a lot of good choices on the menu, along with daily specials. There is a small bar and you can get alc.drinks with your meal. My dinner came with a fantastic Greek salad and garlic toast. The food was fantastic and deserving of 5 stars! Yes it was so good, I nearly gave them back a clean plate. So why 4 stars? Not Fazzi's fault... but because after about 4:15pm the locals begin to pour in. Each and every one of them is living with 2014 technology and uses it freely as if they were at home. Cell phones with one ringtone after another train in melody. Each and every table I saw people taking calls and watching online videos (with or without the people they came in the door with) out loud as though they were never taught table manners by their parents.
