Our waitress Lilli S turned the entire evening and fine dining experience into a beautiful, welcoming and wonderful atmosphere. The joy that Lillie gave to my wife and me is indescribable. Lilli S totally understand our plight and made us feel so special and treated us with such delight. Lilli S is so bubbly, not overwhelming but with perfect attention to detail on a personal level. Absolute HORRIBLE experience. It was our first time trying this place our server was extremely rude from the start. I am very understanding with servers and usually never complain but I have never had one treat me like this. She also made sure to tell my grandfather in the most judgmental voice that there is a 5 beer limit when he ordered his 2nd beer. My grandmother pulled a hostess aside (not knowing it was a host) to ask for bbq sauce and she proceeded to say "not my job" and walked off.... Will NEVER be returning. First time here today. Trio dip was fantastic, especially the spinach dip. Chips were a bit stale but waitress brought fresh upon request. I was very nervous about going here for my MIL's birthday meal. The menu read like Applebee's meets Cheesecake Factory - lots and lots of options, wide variety of food styles, but more traditional than inventive. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover an excellent wine list (2012 Ferrari Carano Reserve FTW) with good prices, well-prepared fresh food that wasn't hurried to the table, and staff very focused on quality service. My trout was perfectly cooked, skin on bottom, with a cheesecloth wrapped lemon ready to squeeze for a touch of tartness. I was able to sub all of my sides so I didn't have to eat a baked potato or the ho-hum sounding mixed vegetables. Instead I had a side kale salad (highly recommended...the kale is slightly wilted for easier eating) and green beans (highly recommended...the beans are crisp and served with thin slices of carrot). It was an altogether pleasureable meal. It's clear you can make any changes you want to the menu to have it made to your taste, allergy requirements and so on. There are only two dessert options - a hot fudge sundae and key lime pie. We ordered both for the table and it was the right amount to serve 8 adults. read more

We had the Triple Dipper and I ate a plain old burger. I wasn't really a fan of the Triple Dipper, but my grandma enjoyed it, especially the spinach dip. The queso was spicy which I didn't really like, but this is just me being hard to please. The lighting was VERY low in there. I had a burger. It was good. I hate how it's always a hassle to ask for extra ketchup, though. I have fries and a burger. They should serve more ketchup or simply ask the customer ahead of time. The design of the burger meal is unique, though. Every time I go, it surprises me because I forget. I'm not really a fan of it but it comes in handy when you need more space so you can just move your fries onto the table. read more

We chose this place for the Bone-in Cowboy Steak on the menu. We had already left one place because they didn't have one, which showed online that they did. When we ordered it we were told nothing. We had to call the waiter (Tayler) back to our table to give him the temps we wanted. When our steaks came they were not Bone-in. When we questioned it we were asked what is the difference. The food was good but the staff needs trained. Also when we ordered he said we have a larger steak but knew nothing about it. My parents suggested we come here when I was visiting them today, and I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I was unfamiliar with this place, and my parents can be all over the map with what they like, so I went with an open mind. From the hostess to the servers to the food, everything was sophisticated and classy and wonderful! It was a terrific surprise. The decor is well planned, and the atmosphere is relatively quiet, so I could actually have a conversation. The service is so professional and efficient but with the classic East Texas friendliness and charm. Our waiter, and several other employees, went out of their way to make sure we were happy everything was correct with our order, but not in an obtrusive or hovering way that makes you feel uncomfortable. I ordered the brisket tacos, which were outstanding. Delicious tender brisket with avocado and cheese on corn tortillas, served with either fries or slaw. Unusual sides, but honestly, fries go great with tacos, especially when they are really good fries. My mother ordered the salmon with the quinoa salad and ate almost the whole thing (very unusual, so I think she liked it!) My father had a steak and loved it. We sat for quite a long time before another waiter showed up with an appetizer, but not what we had ordered Rather than send it back we ate that one 15 minutes later another waiter shows up with the appetizer that we actually ordered. Which we declined then we sat and we sat and we sat and we sat no one checking on us to tell us when our order would be brought out. There were three of us they brought out two of the orders. My daughter sat for quite a while with no food finally, we motion to the manager and told him that she had not gotten her food. He went to the kitchen to get it. Then he came back to make sure he was checking on the right item. Finally, her order came there was french fries on the plate and the manager told her not to worry about paying for the french fries really? The food was pretty cold. The waiter gave my husband a lunch portion of fairly tasteless. Food. Sadly will not be going back. The only positive thing I can say is the ambience was pleasant. read more

When I got done with my shopping I decided to give it a try...I thought it had to be good with all the cars parked out front. The decor is very nice and the staff was very friendly. I sat at the bad and they were very attentive. This was on a Tuesday night, so not sure how busy it gets on the weekends. I order a Skinny Frozen Margarita and it was very good. For dinner I had the grilled shrimp, green beans, and baked potato. The shrimp were nicely seasoned and served on rice, which was very good. The green beans were cooked well and had nice seasoning. The potato was great too. There was also live music while I was there. It was not too loud, so you could still talk. It was nice. Overall, this is a good place. read more

First time eating at this restaurant. Not sure if it's a chain. Had a great experience. Hostess and server were both friendly. Interior nice and clean and well as bathrooms. We We started with martini's. Took a little longer than normal restaurants to receive. We were not in a rush so we didn't mind. They tasted great! Hubby ordered gumbo to start. Best gumbo I think we've ever had. Went to New Orleans last year and this gumbo was definitely better than what we had out there! No joke! He ordered the Rainbow Trout and Shrimp plate. It was good. I ordered the salmon which came with a baked potato and matchstick veggies. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the lunch size was plenty! We ordered a ribeye steak with green beans and sweet potato casserole to go for our dogs to share. Yes they are a little spoiled but we just drove 1,600 miles with them while moving across the country. I did taste everything while cutting up before giving to them and everything was delicious. We also ordered a chicken and walnut salad to go to split for dinner later. It was an excellent choice! They are very short staffed. It was 25 minutes to get drink orders in, wait another 15-20 to be delivered. Ordered appetizers which every one liked but took forever to get.
