Everything about this place was great! The burger was amazing and the poutine was so tasty!

I must say, when this place first opened I was not impressed at all. I like to always give things a second chance and I am super happy I did. Great service, the food was outstanding, there is draft beer on tap, they serve champagne and on weekends if you order an entree for breakfast you get a free short stack of pancakes for the kids at no cost. Fiamma Burger is the place to come for quality burgers. The menu is full of unexpected, high quality ingredients. They offer not only traditional beef patties, but elk, bison, turkey, chicken sausage, salmon and vegetarian burgers too. They also serve chicken breast, pulled pork and grilled cheese sandwiches. They have more way more than soda, such as beer, wine, and frozen lemonade, plus interesting seasonal milkshake flavors. Last time I stopped by it was Oreo pumpkin! If that sounds a little too adventurous, don't worry, they have the classic flavors too. I have been here several times over the years. The items I keep coming back to are the yam fries, bham burger, and lamb burger. The yam fries are great, but what makes them really special is dipping them in curry mayo. They are served with a yummy house made ranch dip, but I always get some curry mayo from the sauce bar too. It's a perfect combo! The bham burger is topped with crispy shoestring potatoes, ham, cheese, and a fried egg. It's as delectable and indulgent as it sounds! The shoestring potatoes add the perfect crunch and make this burger extra special. The lamb burger great too. It's served with arugula and pickled shallots, which complement the lamb perfectly. I's also good as a salad. (Any burger can be ordered as a salad (replacing the buns) for a healthier option.) This place has a cute and casual atmosphere which I love. The staff is very friendly. I'd recommend eating here if your looking for somewhere fast and casual, with a level of quality that goes far beyond the typical fast food restaurant. It seems like someone changed the quality of the bread and meat at some point. The last time I ate here a few months ago the menu was different and the food was better. The burger Pattie's were over cooked and the bread was over toasted and crumbled in my hands. Definitely not worth 19 dollars a burger. Ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon in late January. Online ordering was easy, got a fried chicken sandwich with frizzles and a strawberry lemonade, for maybe $18 with tip. The place seemed popular with young people and I got my food and left. The sandwich was really good, one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've had in a while, and that's basically my signature order when I go out. Fries had a McDonald's vibe which was a plus. This place has delicious burgers, and they're grass-fed! I ordered the NW burger with guacamole and it was incredible. My partner and I also tried the garlic fries, which were good, but we both felt they'd be better with a little less or no Parmesan cheese. We were surprised to see how thin the burgers were- we were expecting them to be a little bigger and juicier but they were pretty small. But still delicious. I was very happy to see how much of an emphasis this place has on local, farm-to-table, and organic. They also compost! Normally, I like to try different places when I travel. Plenty of convenient parking out front. Walk in and ordered at counter. I was given a number and an empty glass to get my own beverage. It is mostly all self serve as the only thing they bring you is your food. You even bus your own table when you leave. Fried Chicken sandwich and a drink cost $14.41. Sandwich arrived timely and hot. It tasted very good but had so much sauce it kept sliding apart. What a mess. Was difficult to eat with all the sauce. I did really like the flavors and the crunch of the first bit. Loved the burgers, but I did slightly have a "where's the beef" moment, especially with how much you're paying for it. But everything else was tasty and delicious; not overpowering with crazy flavors. Loved the ginger molasses cookie, but the old gingerbread cookie from Starbucks is still the best. Also discovered a cool ipa that had a dragon on it, from Tukwila, WA. Service was friendly. Outside seating was cool if you like people watching. read more

Where do I begin? We picked this place to eat based on three things: the reviews, all the yum-yums included in the reviews plus it was one of few places open semi-late. The décor was nice, modern and clean. Reminds me of a better designed 1950s diner. It's very obvious where to order etc. The entrance basically guides you in. The seating area is large, clean and woody. Lots of wood in this place. Only came in contact with two staff members but they were polite - no issues there. The menu is above the cash register and it's very large. Typical chalkboard menu which includes: milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, breakfast (served until a certain time - cannot recall) and of course the "yum-yum" burgers everyone is raving about. They have you're standard cheese, bacon, lettuce etc burgers. Of course they have their signature burgers - such as Green Chili Bison Burger which consists of: Hatch green chilis, queso and pepper jack cheese, fried serrano pepper, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and secret sauce. I opted for the classic cheese bacon burger (grass fed) combo comes with fries and a drink - lettuce, tomato, onions etc etc. The food arrived hot and fresh no complaints. I was astonished about the size of the grass fed beef patty. It was very thin, nothing like I've seen in a long time. Considering this joint gives the illusion of being a gourmet joint, I was rather perplexed - and had to hold back the urge to ask, "Where's the beef?" The taste was good, fries delicious but this place was not blowing my hair back. To me it was just standard run of the mill, burger joint. Unfortunately the prices are sit-down gourmet prices. The combo I got was $16US and some change. I've gone to places where they seat you, take your order, get the food, bus your table, where the meat is visible all for the same price. We were in downtown Bellingham several weeks ago and were unsure where some good places were to eat. I dug out my phone and used the Yelp app's monocle feature to get a lay of the land and to see what we were in the mood for. We decided to go to Fiamma Burger! It was a decision that we did not regret at all! I got the Southwest Burger which was excellent! What probably really made the meal great was all of the dipping sauces that you could use! I got a spicy ketchup which was good but was not as spicy as I was expecting. What I really enjoyed was the curry mustard! It went with my french fries so well! Tried this place as I'm visiting Bellingham and the reviews were thoroughly positive, ~$10-12 for a burger with fries/pop is on the pricier side for a really casual joint but when in Rome... It was neat that they've got all the different dipping sauces (curry mayo, chipotle ketchup, bbq, to name a few) but I noticed the pumps were very inconsistent and I don't think the staff is checking the levels. Furthermore, when I worked at Starbucks we used very similar (possibly the same) pumps for some of our syrups and it felt like these weren't properly maintained (we'd disassemble and clean them every day) and might be missing a gasket or two. I came around 7:20 on a Saturday Night so it was pretty packed but we managed to find a seat. By 7:50 we were asking ourselves if they were slaughtering the meat from scratch as even on a busy night an almost half hour wait for 1x burger & fries is unacceptable for a casual joint like this. Our Mushroom Swiss burger and garlic fries arrive and it looks sloppy and unappetizing. The fries look really oily and are drooped over like a limp part of the male anatomy. The bun looks like it has a tumor and you can barely see the tiny patty. Theyre very skimpy with the mushroom and I can neither see nor taste the swiss. Overall taste of the burger is alright, on par with any other non-chain burger joint. The patty is nothing special in texture, size, or taste. The fries aren't crispy but they are tasty and the garlic is not overdone, however this is definitely one of the few times I've chosen to use a fork over my fingers to pick at fries. Not worth my time or my money, the place looks appealing from the outside but the kitchen needs to get it together and sort out these wait times, it's not the first weak open and you should be able to handle a full house. I get why you order and pay in advance, if people were regularly waiting 20 mins they would probably walk out and not pay. Way overhyped. I've always like Fiamma Burger...I'm surprised I haven't written a review before! Well done. That is the theme of Fiamma Burger. First, the space is bright and open. When the building was remodeled, the design decision was made to make a skylight in the center of the room. Plus it was done in a way that you can tell the age of the building, love it. This is an order at the counter, take a number, food gets delivered once it's prepared (so it's fresh!) They have their basic burgers (what I usually order) or their signature burgers, where there are a lot of choices. I really like the real burgers they make fresh here at Fiamma Burger. My other favorite is their yam fries and all the dipping sauces. The garlic sauce that comes with the yam fries is fantastic, but the curry mayo is pretty good, too. The layout is cool, I like being able to pick and choose from chilled beverages when I walk in, before I order. Solid 3.5. Nice ambience and decor, casual atmosphere, all the nice beers and ciders but to me, the meat just doesn't cut it. Having said that, all the rest of the trimmings were great: fried egg, mushrooms and fresh crunchy onions and tomato. Patty not just thin, but really, no fancy taste or seasoning. Try Vera's, for similiar price point, and it's much more juicer. Upgraded to the garlic fries, just average. but the chocolate milkshake is good, though I would prefer Mallard's next door. Located on a busy street in Bellingham with primarily street parking. Great open concept with the front windows open to the street. Food was delicious but on the pricier side. The burger was so tasty but not for $8-9. The fries, gravy and cheese were my favorite part of my meal. These are known as poutine's in Canada. Would of been comparable if the cheese was layered with the fries. There are a variety of dipping sauces available as well that are pretty fun! Love the compost/recycling too! read more

I love that this place not only makes custom burgers (with different meat, bun, veggie toppings to get creative with) but you can make any burger into a salad as well. I usually get the mushroom and onion chicken burger as a salad and it is delicious and filling! They also have fries, onion rings, garlic fries (which I still need to try!), milkshakes, etc. Is it on the pricier side? Yes. But the resturant is clean, staff is friendly and the food is fresh. Burger (Southwest Burger) was a let down. I would guess a preformed patty, thin and with little beef flavor. Also rather gray in color. Onion rings also not worth up charge. Slightly quirky burger place that resembles a chain but is one of a kind. It actually resembles an american burger restaurant that you would find somplace in Western Europe. Fiamma sports some tasty burger creations, good frys, amazing milk shakes and an eclectic assortment of add-ins, condiments and other small touches that add up to a fine burger experience. Related to Fiamma Pizza which exudes the same Bellingham local joint that's still cool & current vibe. Staff are friendly albeit the place seems to be perpetually overstaffed. We came in for lunch during our day trip to Bellingham with my cousins. They had the teriyaki pineapple burger, the b-ham burger, and a junior burger while I ordered the NW burger. They were out of grass-fed beef so the cashier suggested elk. I was a little skeptical because I've never had elk before but she said it went best with this particular one so I took her word for it. We all shared a large serving of fries and it was big enough for our group of 4. Our food came out quick. I really enjoyed my elk burger..the sauce and arugula was complimentary, I just wished it was a little bigger. The other burgers seemed to be a good size. I was disappointed that our burger didn't include any fries, knowing I paid $16 for two burgers and no fries. I ordered the chicken teriyaki burger with tomato, lettuce, onions and pineapple. My boyfriend ordered the lamb burger with arugula, crispy potato and other stuff. I appreciate their options of grass fed beef, salmon and lamb burger. Also green options such as arugula. My boyfriend's cousin ordered sweet potato fries which includes Fiamma's special ranch sauce. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! I totally regret not ordering a tray of them. Do not order online for pickup, go in. Priority seems to be given to those who order at the counter and/or the online system is bad. We ordered an hour+ ago with an estimated pickup time of 40 minutes ago. Still waiting currently after asking twice about our food and physically seeing the ticket hanging back 40 minutes ago. At least a dozen people have come and ordered after our pickup time and left with food. Already been offered a refund along with several others here as well. They are trying and may be short staffed, but it doesn't explain the order in which things are happening. read more

This place was awful. It wasn't busy or anything so there could be a bit more attention to detail. I asked for a plain double bacon cheeseburger with a egg added on. I specifically made sure to add to not put on pickles because I'm allergic. For 2 burgers and a fry it was 36$--WAY OVERPRICED for a place that's closer to being a fast food restaurant as opposed to a nice sit down place. I get my food and it's a single not a double so I was overcharged, they didn't make it plain like I asked and they didn't even bother to take off the pickles--thank god I checked it before eating.
