Despite being undercooked, the steak was surprisingly tough and chewy, and it did not seem like a quality cut of meat considering the price. The waiter was friendly and provided good service, which was the highlight of the visit. However, due to the uncomfortable atmosphere, slow food service, disappointing drink, and poor-quality steak, I would not recommend dining here.

I came across Fiat Cafe on a shopping trip in Soho. The restaurant itself gives off a cute Italian vibe with vintage decor on a pink wall. It was quite empty when my friend and I walked in around 1pm on a Tuesday. The menu has so many options including basic breakfast & brunch (serves until 4pm yay!), sandwich, pasta, and other main entrees. I was really debating between the egg benedicts or pasta but finally went for Linguini Fini Pasta. It comes with a reasonable amount of baby clams and A LOT of linguini. Chunky bacon and chili pepper added. Frankly, I would give it 2 stars. It's very bland to my taste. However, I tried my friend's Polenta with Italian Fennel Sausage and it is surprisingly good. The sausage is fresh, paired great with tomato sauce, mushroom, onion, and creamy polenta. As they have so many dishes, I figure I just happened to miss a good one. The lady owner is very friendly. I live and work in the neighborhood and often visit your restaurant. I started ordering online with you through seamless web. It's super convenient and the food always comes really quickly, but there is ALWAYS something missing in my order! I keep thinking, I'll give it one last chance, and I always get disappointed. The dressing of my salad was missing FOUR times. You kindly re-delivered it when I mentioned it to you, which was lovely but just not good enough! Today, my order of salad and soup: the dressing came, which is great, but I didn't get a spoon for my soup, and I didn't get the bread I'd asked for. Flavor was very good - a little extra sauce like I prefer, and just a very good pasta dish. I ordered the amaretto cheesecake for dessert which was really disappointing as a cheesecake person - it was more of a flan, non-bake small puck-shaped item, and I really didn't taste amaretto at all, served with raspberry puree also didn't help. It happened to be during a brutal heat wave, and between the scorching temperatures outside and the sun pouring through the windows, it felt hot enough inside to fry an egg on my table. The avocado toast with an egg was good simple, fresh, and satisfying. Was it worth the walk? Yes. Although, if I'm being honest, the walk probably did more for my mental health than the breakfast itself.
