This restaurant was a favorite of ours when we lived in the area, we happened to be passing through at night and looked online, we were happy to see it is advertised as closing at 10pm, we arrived in the restaurant at 901pm, the door also said open 1030am to 10pm. We were told by the lady at the entrance that there was no dining in because it closed at 930pm, we were turned away, extremely disappointing, would not be a big deal if the business advertised their actual hours instead of us wasting our time and our fuel. And if I'm sitting there for hours drinking cheap beer and devouring chips and salsa, I get why they'd charge for more chips. But if I'm sitting with a party of 2-4 people ordering premium margaritas, appetizers and entrees and you want to money grab for another basket of chips? That's pretty cheap imo. Can I begin by saying what year we in 2022? Because when I asked for the Wi-Fi password they said it was only for them? I would think that they would offer Wi-Fi knowing that most people like to check their emails or the news while they're having lunch. When it came to the food it was overly saucy and bland. This place is way to expensive for not getting what you want. First, the waiter came over and was looking me up and down, when my partner was telling him his order he would still just be looking at me...he made me feel so uncomfortable I couldn't look back up at him. Second, I ordered a margarita and it came back with NO ALCOHOL in it??? & The chips where stale! Our waiter forgot what my partner was drinking and had to tell him repeatedly..then our food came and for what the prices where the food was terrible. Very disappointed by choosing this restaurant. Poor service from their hostess to our server. We had order a guacamole order as an appetizer and it never came out of their kitchen, the server forgot. Ordered a carne asada for $25 which was burnt and anything like a carne asada and maybe 2 ounces of meat. Being a mountain town, and being tired, bruised and battered from crashing the motorbike, I had lowered my standards on what good food is, but Fiesta Jalisco really came through. I would like to give them 3.5 stars. The decor is great, as long as you don't look through the faux arched interior windows into the annex room which is filled with boxes, old chairs, and general clutter. My margarita was just OK, a little saltier than I would have liked but sometimes the salt on the glass falls into the drink and that's what you get... so I will forgive this. The food and service were really good. They must have stepped up their salsa since Valerie's visit, because it was pretty good I thought! I had the carne asada which was great, and my boyfriend was very happy with his meal as well. read more

Seated and the food arrived quickly. The enchilada, rice and beans were good. The Chile relleno was terrible. It was leathery, difficult to cut with a metal knife. When I told the server that the Chile relleno was bad, she shrugged and walked away. There was never any follow up with anyone. The bill arrived even that transaction was as if it was a burden to take payment. The place is moderately expensive and the food could really be excellent if some actually cared. We ate here years ago and had a very different experience. We will not be back. read more

The food wasn't great. Service was horrible. We should've known at around 8 o'clock on a Friday night and only two tables. It wasn't good. We still decided to try. Everything we tried to order we can't do that nope you have to order exactly like on menu. All we wanted to do was remove the vegetables off a dish. When food finally came out they messed it up. When they asked was everything ok we told them no. They yanked the plates up and asked how they were supposed to be. We explained again. This place used to be a common stop for us when we come snowboarding, but we probably won't be back. It took forever to get our food, and our chips, salsa and drinks ran out and were never refilled. We barely saw our server. When we did get our food, no one was happy. My daughter's nachos were so overcooked the cheese broke off, my other daughter's burrito was enchilada sized and had barely any filling. Both said their beans were undercooked and hard. My husband didn't care for his soup. I had huevos con machaca. The vegetables were delicious and crisp, but the meat was dry and needed more seasoning, and I never got my tortillas. Our server never came back, so we didn't ask for anything else. It took so long to get our check we had to go to the host stand and ask for help. We had to buy our kids more food someplace else. There was a hair in one of our plates and it was not authentic at all. Thick flour tortillas instead of corn for "street tacos" and the ordering is complicated no mixed tacos, you have to stick to one meat. The rice and beans are straight out the can/bag just heated up; the beans were too salty. Being from Chicago where Mexican food excels, there's no authenticity here whatsoever. I'm visiting Dillon to hike a 14er tomorrow and I stopped here for dinner with my twin brother. We absolutely loved it! The service was so fast and efficient. Our waiter was nice and respectful. We were able to both order our favorite meals (mine is beef enchiladas with lots of rice and refried beans, my brother's is chicken mole) and they were phenomenal. 3.5 stars! We had a large group of nine and it was very difficult finding a place that was open for dinner on a holiday, and it was difficult finding a place that didn't have a wait of an hour+. We found this Mexican restaurant in the Summit Place shopping plaza and they were open and it would only be about a 15 minute wait. The place was busy and packed with people who had finished a day on the slopes. The staff put together two tables plus a booth for our big party pretty quickly. The menu is huge and overwhelming - they have the usual Mexican offerings (enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, mole) and they also have tons of combination plates that come with rice and beans. On the whiteboards, they also offer different soup dishes, like pozole and menudo. There is also a vegetarian menu on the back, as well as a section of American food, like burgers. There's even a dessert menu with flan, fried ice cream, and churros! It was difficult deciding what to eat. Everyone at our table ordered something different, some different combo plate. I ordered the #18: an enchilada, taco, and tamale large combo and also the mango lemonade (they also offer strawberry lemonade). The plates were all huge - gigantic portions! The plates were hot and heavy - the servers are amazingly strong. The food is definitely quantity over quality. Despite the generous portions, the food tasted just okay. I've definitely had better Mexican food elsewhere. The chicken in my enchilada and the shredded beef in my taco were on the dry side. the beef in the tamale was a little dry too, but the masa part was yummy. The rice and beans were tasty. Try the house hot sauces - they've got a nice spicy kick. The mango lemonade didn't really taste like mango, so I was a little disappointed in that. Others were satisfied with their food. They serve strong margaritas. And every table gets complimentary chips and salsa. The meal was filling. The service was great - from getting the table for our big party ready so fast to the attentiveness. Our server was friendly and came by often to make sure we had everything we needed. Extra water, more beer, hot sauce, clearing away our empty plates. It was stellar given that it was a holiday and that they were super busy. The great customer service is why I rounded up. read more

Came here only because Sunshine Cafe had a long waiting line and we were under time constraints. To start we got a basket of chips but did not taste or look homemade. I did not like the salsa either. Hubby ordered huevos rancheros and I ordered steak Picado with eggs which was in a tomato onion vinegar sauce with too much vinegar. Both plates came with rice and beans which sing with the eggs were tasty. The cabbage slaw was left on both our plates as we both thought it too had too much vinegar. Breakfast was ok but not to the liking of this Texas girl. On top of that the bill was $29 We are used to paying $18 where we live. The staff and server were friendly as the atmosphere very nice. But there are too many Mexican restaurants in the area to try so I probably won't be back. read more
