We saw an option for a wing sauce was Ghost Pepper and after trying it on a chip, got an order of wings half in Ghost Pepper and half in Honey Sriracha. If you really like hot, I recommend their ghost pepper sauce. It's the hottest on their menu, and will keep you ordering drinks while eating wings. The sweet flavor of the sauce keeps you going back for more, but the heat accompanying it keeps you pacing yourself. We also dipped the honey sriracha wings into the sauce and found that was also a nice flavor. Overall the environment was great and the wings were awesome. Will be going back. read more

I also watched one of the servers put his hands down the front of his pants and scratch and then go back to doing whatever he was doing bc our table we could see Into the hallway where the kitchen was. My daughter had the grilled chicken tenders that were not tenders at all but a piece of frozen chicken cut up and laid on lettuce. She couldn't eat it because it was dried out. Well actually I didn't get to eat here. We got there at 3:00 and requested a table outside where I could see two open tables. I was told there would be a wait and we could sit inside. I said I didn't understand aren't those table open as I pointed to them. She said those are four seaters and they don't have any two tops available. I said it's 3:00, you would rather lose two in the hopes of getting four (two times). And she said in a bitchy way you can talk to the manager about it and I said I don't want to make a big production out of it and we'll just leave. I recently purchased a cabin in Blue Ridge and I'm there a lot. They were one of the few places in town open on Monday afternoon. Friendly staff and it was a good place to work remotely. It was my first time here and I ordered a salad and added chicken. I had the honey mustard dressing. Way too spicy! Barbara at the bar explained that the chef loves spicy food. Great! Me too! But not when I just want a salad. The chicken was blackened and the honey mustard was super spicy. Sometimes cooks think Spicy Hot = Flavor and that's simply not true. Especially when ordering a House Salad. I was served a fresh local cider at the time I received my salad. I had 5 glasses of water before I touched my cider. My palate was ruined with the spices. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu and returning because of the atmosphere and great staff. read more

If I could make the stars a negative number I would. The hostess gave us the ok to come in and grab a couple drinks 45 min BEFORE they closed @ 9pm. They did mention the kitchen was no longer serving food which we were perfectly fine with. Once we got all 8 of us seated, the server came up to tell us that they just had last call and they were done serving. Never in my life have I seen a place do last call 45 min before close. Very disappointed. Our family just drove from Jacksonville, FL to Blue Ridge for a vacation and we stopped here to grab dinner. We had 4 adults and two kids (age 7 and 10)... the hostess was clearly less than enthusiastic about working. We placed our name on the list after being quoted a 40 min wait. No problem, we had just traveled 7 hours and decided we'd grab a drink at the bar and then wait in the lobby area. As we were making our way to the bar, I noticed skeet tables and asked if my kids could play on them while we waited. The hostess said no, you have to be 18 to play on them because this is a bar. I replied "oh this is a bar, I thought it was a restaurant too?" ... (as I gazed around the room and saw plenty of people eating) The hostess replied, "no this is really a bar and actually the owner isn't kid friendly at all. He would prefer not to have them in here but by law he can't refuse to serve them"... and then she followed up with "I'm not trying to be rude, he just doesn't like kids and those are his rules!".... I looked at my sister-in-law and then back at the hostess, kind of in disbelief that she just said that... completely shocked since almost every table had at least one child sitting at it. Needless to say, we took our name off the list and ate elsewhere. This occurred on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at approximately 5:10 pm. I wish I had obtained the hostesses name, but all I recall is she had brown hair, a nose ring and tattoos on her right arm. She clearly has chosen the wrong job with being a hostess. read more

Visited Saturday, February 13 around noon. I wish I could speak to the quality of food and beverage here but we never made it that far. First, when you walk in, the immediate smell of septic is overpowering. Second, we were added to the wait list, told we were first on the list, and it would be about 10 minutes. After 15 minutes we inquired about the wait and were told "we'll seat you as soon as we're able to seat people...". We were told they were rebooting the system, but no other information was offered. After 10 more minutes of standing outside and watching group after group enter and promptly leave, we inquired again about our table. This time we were told if we were paying with cash we would be seated right away, and they couldn't take credit cards. Why was this information not offered sooner?! Finally we were seated. Unfortunately 10 more minutes passed and a server never greeted us. We decided to leave, and informed the hostess of what happened and she said she'd handle that right away. I hope she did for the next group and they enjoyed their dining experience, because we certainly did not. read more

The hostess told us about a few things, including a hot dog. My son ordered a hot dog which we didn't realize was the adult hot dog. It came out with a very nice presentation, but not for a kid. I had the waiter take it make to make it plain. Then they have homemade ketchup which my son didn't care for. My other son has the Mac n cheese quesadillas which were very good. My husband and I were dying for chicken wings, cooked the way we like (super crispy). We were seated immediately on a Saturday night inside (outside was a thirty minute wait). We had a server called Yin, and she was great. We explained to her that we are almost never happy with the fry on our wings. She assured us she understood. Well, when she brought them, we saw that they were cooked PERFECTLY. Crispy, no slimy skin. Yum! We think the peanut oil probably contributed to the good crisp. The blue cheese dressing, which we assume was house made according to the menu, was also great. We also had the pork wings, which are pretty good. Only thing holding this restaurant back is the parking, because the concept of everything from scratch works for them. Update: we went back a few months after this, and were not very happy. We were served bacon wrapped dates with almost raw bacon. We sent them back, of course. The waitress offered to cook them longer, and we didn't want to chance it, so we said no thank you. As we finished our meal, she brought the original bacon dates to us in a to-go box, and they were still on the bill! So bizarre. Not typical restaurant procedure for food sent back, and made for a really awkward moment. Hubby made waitress take them off bill and we left sans bacon dates. read more

Food arrived in expected time, with only one small glitch where someone didn't receive their order. The manager bent over backwards to rectify the situation, to no avail from the frustrated rider. Checks were handled in a concise manner, which usually becomes a complex problem when everyone is ready to roll at the same time. PEANUT ALLERGY BEWARE they state very clear on the menu they use peanut oil and even offer to accomidate with peanut allergy but you will have a very limited selection due to cross contamination.
