Loved! Beautiful restaurant, good ambiance, service and food. My husband and I went with a few of our couple friends. The atmosphere affords the ability to have conversations and to take your time to enjoy. For starters we had, the ahi tuna, shrimp cocktail and calamari - all were nicely prepared. For dinner, I had the chicken aubergine and hubs had pork tenderloin - yummy all around. I especially enjoyed the sauce that came with the chicken. For dessert we shared the lemonchello cheese cake - very light tasting. Overall - I would agree with the other ratings (altamonte gem). My only concern is location. With many other places in this price point nearby this is not going to make the list sadly. While some things were fine/nice (setting for one) there were other things that just aren't acceptable when you're paying these prices. Charging $18 for a double (during Happy Hour?), a nearly $50 for your dinner special, you put yourself into the Ruth's Shulas Fishbones Christner's range of pricing and this place doesn't deliver. Make your experience match that level of restaurant since you're competing with them. Your service should know the difference in experience that this requires. Also, if you can't cook a piece of meat to the right temperature (like off by A LOT) you shouldn't call yourself prime or a steakhouse. When someone mentions their nearly mooing "medium" piece of meat politely and asks that you mention it to the kitchen and you say "oh I'll tell Chef" (spare me the TV show words) and "Chef" comes to the table to see how dinners were and mumbles something and is obviously totally clueless to the problems supposedly brought to his attention? Looks like you don't communicate or care. Two of two meat dishes way undercooked. Nice looking food, but not noteworthy and not a good value for the price. Colonial Dr.-- not anymore- a friend and I had dinner there on Friday (08/30) I had -what I consider the best meal I have EVER had !! The cesar salad was out of this world- had a tiny "kick" to it-- (I really could have eaten 2) then a filet- this was absolutely so good, I found myself cutting in smaller pieces so it would last longer- ohh it was seasoned to perfection- and when they say Prime- this was it ! don't let me forget to tell you about the limoncello cake- TO DIE FOR- the service was wonderful - I live on the very opposite end of Orlando and this was well worth the drive - I think this is the first restaurant I have ever left a review for- that is how good it was- I cannot wait to go back- Pam read more

The decor and the vibe is very good. The staff in the beginning was good. I ordered Veal and my wife ordered Grouper. My veal came out as a chicken dish and the Grouper had little to no flavor. I told TJ waiter that my meal was bland. He did offer to take the meal off and I was nonchalant about it. Hindsight tells me it should have been comped. There was no flavor, the Caesar salad was drenched in dressing, and the waiter knew we were not happy. To me as a Ex Restaurant Manager when you know a client is unhappy someone comes over. Based on my meal and flavors this place will be closed in 6 months. It is too bad since we really need new restaurants to go to in this area. Poor food but a nice atmosphere. Came here for our friends birthday last night. Our server, Katlyn, was beyond amazing! She was great with recommendations and made our night 10x better. She was attentive but also let us enjoy our time together without being on top of us. She topped the night off with a candle on our friends dessert and champagne for us, and took group photos at the end of the night. She really went above and beyond and made our experience super memorable. The food was BEYOND our expectations. We had mussels to begin and they were by far the best ones I've ever had. (11/21/2017) This was the 3rd restaurant on our mini restaurant crawl in Longwood, we just stopped in for dessert and a nightcap. Def the place is upscale and a pretty place for pretty people to see and be seen. It was a little dead on a Tuesday night at 9 pm, save for a small group of possibly recent divorcees celebrating a girls' night out. We sat at the bar (it seemed awkward to sit at a full-service table in an empty dining room). Bartender was efficient, possibly on meth or coke, or both, he had some crazy eyes going on and I'm pretty sure didn't blink the entire time we were there. We ordered the Limoncello Cake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, and Tartufo. All were fine, commercially made somewhere, likely not here. Here comes the bit of crazy though, the plates come out, then the bartender takes a bottle of Frangelico out from under the bar and then proceeds to douse all of the desserts with Frangelico, like with great flourish, think Oprah meets Scarface. Seems like a decent place for a client meeting, but not intimate or personal enough to bring anyone you actually like. read more

There were tables with people on both sides of us that had servers attend to them. Not once did anyone even mention if someone was coming to take our food order, let alone a drink order. We decided to leave. Told the hostess on the way out and all we got was "Sorry". Didn't even attempt to make it right. Absolutely piss poor! Never been to this place before and definitely won't be going back. If you're the owner reading this, you can confirm that I had an 8pm reservation on 1/15/21 I booked through Yelp. The wait staff was friendly and well informed. Was at dinner with my girlfriend and her family. My girlfriend ordered the pork loin at a medium which the waiter stated is how they usually cook it. The food came out and the pork looked good but cutting into the loin was tough and fully cooked at a well done. She asked if it was possible to have it remade and apologized for the trouble. The waiter returns the food to the back and you can see the cook physically yelling and arguing at the waiter. The waiter returned with the same plate of food stating the cook disagrees that it is indeed cooked medium and asked us to cut into several other sections to prove it wasnt cooked well done. She cut all of the pork up and it was all well done not a sliver of pink to be seen. The waiter even says you're right that's cooked well done. He returned the food to the back then the cook and the manager are having a discussion with the waiter at this point. The manager then comes to the table and said that they reviewed the meal under there lights in the back and stated that we were wrong that there is indeed medium to there standards. To which my girlfriend stated but theres no pink and the manager said actually you're wrong there is pink even though the entire table and wait staff said it was over cooked. So being shocked that a manager is going to basically say you're a liar which is very unprofessional when it's clear to see the meal was over cooked my girlfriend just got a basic mushroom pasta. After the pasta arrived it appeared that the table next to us which ordered steak had to send there meal back as well because surprise it was also over cooked. You could hear the cook arguing with the wait staff at this point and had there steak returned and demanded they cut into the steak in multiple locations just like the pork. Just like the pork it was true the steak was over cooked and there waitress returned to the back and informed the cook again that there meal was also overcooked. Now the cook himself comes out to the table to check the steak and discuss with them how it wasnt to her liking she stated she wanted it medium but it was fully cooked to well done. The cook now returns to the back very noticeably angry and is beating and smacking pans and pots around. We then contacted the table next to us in which the couple stated that they've never seen it like this at this restaurant. Due to the terrible way the manager spoke to us and handled the situation and the openly pissy attitude of the cook so much that you can hear him taking his anger out at the front of the restaurant we decided to not return to this restaurant that was often frequented.
