We stopped by Filo Dessert after eating nearby, mainly because I found out they make ashta booza. I have not had booza in America before, and I had basically accepted that it was something I would only get whenever I'm in the Middle East. The moment I heard they served it here, I knew we had to go. Even though we sampled a few flavors, we had to go with ashta. We also ordered the knafeh, which is one of my favorite desserts of all time. Even with the large Middle Eastern food scene in Los Angeles, it can be surprisingly difficult to find knafeh made the way I personally enjoy it. A lot of places serve versions that are extremely cheesy or oily, when knafeh should really be an entire experience. You want the crunch of the pastry, the softness and saltiness of the cheese, and enough syrup to bring everything together without overpowering it. The knafeh here was simple but very well balanced. We covered it in syrup, but it was not overwhelmingly sweet or heavy enough to leave you crashing afterward. It also tasted evenly heated throughout, rather than scorching hot in one section and cool in another, which sometimes happens when knafeh has simply been reheated. We added pistachio booza on top, and it elevated the entire dessert. The cold, creamy pistachio flavor paired beautifully with the warm knafeh, while still tasting familiar and traditional. This is not necessarily the place to visit for flashy, TikTok-style dessert creations or highly modernized flavors. It is more like a small, family-run shop focused on traditional and comforting flavors, and I think that is exactly what makes it such a great addition to Anaheim. I would definitely come back to try more of their desserts and booza flavors. My only disappointment was that we wanted to take home a pint of the ashta booza, but they had already sold out.

Cool little spot in a small corner strip mall. Unfortunately they had run out of the knafeh naameh (fine) right before we got there so we settled for the knafeh khesneh (coarse) and I also tried the butter knafeh, but no worries as both versions are typically solid. Employees/owner were very kind and polite. Not a lot of difference in the regular knafeh vs the butter version that I could tell, overall flavor was good but not special enough for those who have had authentic Palestinian knafeh before, and also could have been baked a few more seconds for a slightly meltier cheese. I'd go back earlier in the day to be able to try the knafeh naameh though. For those trying knafeh for the first time, it's worth stopping by for the experience!

Really cute shop especially loving the vibrant colors!! This was my first time having Arabic rice pudding and I was recommended to pair it with the biscoff ice cream and it honestly hit the spot. The rice pudding wasn't overly sweet and the ice cream flavor balanced each bite. Arasha was amazing for recommending this combo and the added biscoff cookie toppings which took this over the edge.

The knafeh with ice cream on top is insane. Super sweet but soooo goood. Honestly the baklava ice cream isn't that amazing, it's kind of like vanilla. I will definitely be back to try it with a different ice cream but the knafeh it self was fresh so good. I really appreciate how they make it fresh to order so it comes out warm. The man and lady were both very welcoming and kind. The inside is nice and very clean. Overall will definitely be coming back and trying more stuff

This place is bit overhyped on social media. I thought the dessert here was just okay. My friend and I shared the Knafooza with Baklava Ice Cream and it was tasty, but too sweet and not what we expected. I liked the creamy Baklava Ice Cream and the crispiness of the Knafeh. However, I was disappointed that the cheese wasn't stretchy and was like a block in the center of the dessert and the Knafeh was doused in syrup, way too much and too sugary in my opinion. The server even said it was unhealthy and required 2 hours at the gym lol. I also wasn't the hugest fan of the service. The server was a bit passive aggressive to me and my friend especially when we were trying to communicate my walnut allergy. Overall, not the best experience here. The ice cream was good, but I would skip on the Knafeh.

First time here and won't be the last. Lots of flavors to choose from and you get to sample all of them before ordering! Owner was very informative about the menu options. The inside was nice and clean with seatings. Unique flavors that everyone must try at least once.

We noticed a new location, and since we love the Orange location, we were excited to see what this one has to offer in Little Arabia. First impressions: place is smaller than the Orange location, I believe there are three tables and a small barstool section. So it's definitely less spacious than the other location but we didn't have any issues finding seating on a Sunday at 2 pm. Service: The owner is super kind and personable. He is passionate about his business and has a great vision for new menus. Food: the riz bi halib, ashta ice cream, pistachio ice cream are soooo delicious. As a Syrian-American, I approve!! Also, as a Palestinian-American, I also approve of the knafa

My friends and I were looking for a sweet treat after dinner and saw that there was this! I've always wanted to try Filo Dessert and didn't know there was one in Anaheim, which was such a pleasant surprise. Right as we walked in, the worker greeted us and was constantly checking up on us to see if we were ready to order. We were all super indecisive but she was so patient and offered us samples of the ice creams. There were so many unique flavors to pick from and all the samples were delicious, but I ended up going with the lotus biscoff. It was soo creamy with a perfect cookie flavor that wasn't overly sweet! I only got "one scoop" but it actually ended up being two really large scoops and is definitely enough for 1-2 people. The inside was really home-y with pictures and other decorations on the walls. There were a few tables so we were able to eat and yap! They also had an extensive menu with other desserts, drinks, and more, but we were just looking for something simple since it was late at night. I definitely would come back here or to another location because that ice cream lives rent free in my mind!

5 stars! One of my factor rice puddings ever! The rice pudding is creamy, topped with Biscoff cream and crumbles. This shop makes all the desserts for both Filo Dessert locations (Anaheim & Orange). The staff is friendly. Space is small so it does have limited seating. All the desserts were scrumptious! I'll definitely be going to this location instead of the Orange shop. Thank you Filo Dessert!

Awesome experience here! It was my first time and the staff was super helpful in explaining the options and the flavors to me. Got to sample a few ice cream options before choosing. Ended up going with the knafooza with baklava crunch ice cream. Shop wasn't too busy so got to have some nice conversations inside. Seating and parking can be a little limited during peak hours. Everything tasted great!

What started as a quick meat run and a few errands turned into the sweetest detour! Mom was off work and came along for the ride--little did we know we'd stumble on Filo Dessert at a red light! I'd been to their other location with my cousin-Sistra n my sister in law, so I figured, why not stop in? Mom took one bite and lit up! "This is the BEST KINAFAH EVER!" Mom's whole face lit up, totally made her day (and mine!) We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely dynamic duo husband-and-wife team behind Filo. Wifey is the bakery boss, Hubby is the ice cream king! They even brought over a complimentary new dessert they're testing and asked for feedback, love customer facing businesses that are personable like that, totally transforms the experience! Pssstt... Be on the lookout for a crunchy bar like treat with ice cream! Yummyyy.

There's a $1 charge on credit cards which also seems a bit like charging the customer on any business transaction. The location is a decent size so it could definitely fit groups and such. Unfortunately my visit did not really go well, as after ordering and receiving a buzzer to let us know when the order is complete, we waited for over 10 minutes to have other customers place orders after us and receive their orders before our buzzer went off. Eventually, one of the associates noticed we had been waiting for a while and came to us to ask if we had placed an order already. For some reason, the buzzer was not programmed to our order, and I ended up asking the cashier for my receipt to confirm that my order was placed. This was frustrating as we had originally entered the store as the only guests and 3 other parties had entered the store after us and received their orders before us. Fortunately, the associates closest to us near the pick up order section noticed that we had been waiting for an extended period of time and came out to ask what we had ordered to help us make our missing order. I have no idea how our order was missed but it was not a great experience to wait in a store with no AC (only the front doors propped open for ventilation) and there was no real apology for the mishap. However, we're very appreciative of some of the staff members noticing that we had been patiently waiting for our order.

But first, let's chat about how welcoming the owner is. She was very sweet and happy to share info about her business: she is one of three family members that own and run the shop; her sister does most of the baking; she's created a space that encourages people to stay and relax by having some books and games available that they can borrow while they enjoy their treats. I love that!!! So I came to the Lounge specifically for the macarons (which is one of the few things they source from an outside vendor). There are so many flavors to choose from that I ended up with a 6 pack ~ pistachio, rose, earl grey, taro, almond, and raspberry. The cookies were perfectly crunchy on the outside yet nice and tender in the middle. I was surprised to find some of them had more of a paste filling instead of the traditional creme filling. The pistachio, rose, and raspberry macarons were the only ones in which the flavors were actually distinguishable. Otherwise there was nothing much thst made any of them really stand out. The very pleasant surprise for me was their peaches & cream crumble. It was SO good! Not overly sweet, with juicy peaches, a delicate cream, and a crumble that was buttery and spiced to perfection. This is easily shareable with 2-3 people, but I unashamedly finished the whole thing by myself. Now before you go thinking that I had ALL the treats in one sitting, I did not lol. I did pace myself and broke it down to 3 tastings. Anyway, ending it on a very happy note, I'm already of dreaming of having another peaches and cream crumble that I may or may not share with a friend. And next time I'm there, I also have my eye on their Dubai chocolate strawberries and they're NYC cookies. More than one return visit is definitely in order!!

I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The way she packaged my dessert was also very helpful and considerate. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Definitely a cute place, and I can see this being a great go-to spot for groups. I loved how the back seating area had so many Polaroids plastered all over the walls. There are different types of seating depending on what you're in the mood for, and each seating area has a different vibe. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the weather while having your dessert!

I was originally tempted to stay for churros, but the girls wanted to explore the Packing House, and this turned out to be a great choice! After walking around and checking out all the dessert options, we came back to Parfait Paris. Everything in the display case looked beautiful, making it hard to decide. I ordered the Káiser, and it was as pretty as it was delicious. The combination of marzipan and fresh strawberries was unique, balanced, and not overly sweet. It was freshly made, beautifully presented, and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Everyone in our group enjoyed their desserts, and it was the perfect way to end a graduation celebration. The staff was friendly, the desserts came out quickly, and the quality was excellent. If you're visiting the Anaheim Packing House and looking for a delicious dessert or a sweet treat after dinner, Parfait Paris is absolutely worth stopping by. We'll definitely be back!

The dulce de leche cake was so well soaked, and the chocolate shell was a nice texture contrast. However, the cake was a little too sweet. We also tried the mini chocolate pancakes with strawberries and bananas. This was a classic, and the fruit helped cut the sweetness of the pancakes. Service: The service was really nice, and they explained the various components of dishes which was helpful before ordering. Ambiance: This place is so well-lit and cute! However, the surrounding area is slightly unsafe with some smoke and alcohol shops around. Just a heads up, however everyone does their own thing! The shop's bathroom's handle was loose, and we were a little confused on if someone was using it or not, so we used the bathroom at the nearby Dollar Tree. If you are a chocolate or dubai chocolate lover, definitely give this place a try! You can order a few items and share with friends, as they are generous with their quantity!
