Our amazing neighbor gave us a gift certificate for a mani/pedi with Jenny. I had NO idea the pain I was feeling in my big toes were from ingrown toenails! She has COMPLETELY transformed the health of my feet and now not only do they look amazing, but also pain-free! Not only is Jenny AMAZINGLY fun to talk to, she also creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere while being completely thorough consistently time and time again. Be sure to make an appointment because Jenny doesn't accept walk-ins. Unparalleled experience and she's a San Francisco treasure!

I am so so excited to have found such a great spot so close to my house. Jenny is AMAZING!! Not only is she fast & ridiculously thorough, she always take extra care to make sure that I leave there happy with whatever service I get done. Went there for a fix on some acrylics that another salon had made a mess of & now have had an excellent gel pedicure as well & a dare I say it... pretty darn close to painless Brazilian. She will also now be the only Neil tech that I let close to my fingertips for a very long time. Each service she's done for me thus far has been spot on, very professional (which you can't always find nowadays) and I have left each time 100% satisfied. Jenny you now have a client for life!! Wow what a hidden gem in the city! I came in for an ingrown nail removal since I read reviews that they did them. And I am seriously so happy that I did! She removed all of the ingrown- most other places I've been they removal small parts of it. They have some of the best pricing I've seen in the city for manicure/pedicure and I will definitely be coming back for ingrown treatments as she recommends to come back every 6 weeks for a couple months to guarantee it stops growing back! The salon is super clean and organized. They also take precautions with sanitizing their tools and wearing masks. Come support this local business! They said after covid their business has slowed but their prices haven't increased like most of the salons in the area. Come come come!

This is a fantastic review for doing what was asked: a quick and enjoyable gel pedicure. I asked for it to be quick so I could pick up my son on time as my doctor appointment ran late. The pedicure massage was fantastic. She gave a little more pressure than was required, which is hard to get these days. I haven't had a good foot massage during a pedicure in a long time! It felt so nice... obviously from lots of experience. The place was very clean and tidy. It's not fancy, cash only. read more

Piggybacking off of Priscilla's review below - while I was not at the salon on the day in question, I am a middle eastern woman who is very visibly a person of color and I can confirm that I have never witnessed anything but kindness and respect from Jenny - not only toward myself but also toward every person who has been in the salon when I've been there. From black, white, Asian, Hispanic and everything in between - even members of the LGBTQ community - Jenny treats everyone equally and with the same level of kindness, respect and love. It's unfortunate that the review below felt she may have been targeted for her race - but I can assure her and everyone else, that Jenny does not discriminate. I encourage that person to make an appointment when she can, so she can experience Jenny for herself! Also, I've been seeing Jenny for pedicures ever since I moved to SF in 2018, and she does fantastic work - you won't be disappointed! read more

This is my second time coming in for Jenny. She's an ingrown toenail pro. So hard to find someone trustworthy. I went to someone back in the day and they just butchered my toenails. Even podiatrists in SF (per yelp) don't do a great job treating them. Make an appointment and your toes will be happy you did. read more

UPDATE: I've been going to see Jenny regularly for several years now. I just saw a review posted today giving the place only 1 star because the woman could not get a walk-in appointment even though "the place was empty." This is where the reviewer went by appearances instead of knowing the full story. The salon wasn't empty because Jenny was taking care of my waxing in the back room. I had already had my pedicure done for my 10am appointment and asked her for a face wax, so she squeezed me in before her next client at 11am. During my wax, we heard someone at the door asking for a mani, but Jenny told her she could not take her right now because she had a client coming at 11, but could take her at 12:30. The woman didn't respond. I've seen a diverse array of clients come to this salon to see Jenny over the years and they are all treated with kindness. read more

I happened to find this spot by accident on google maps and got a regular manicure. Jenny took amazing care of me. She's so sweet and did a great job with my nails. My nails and cuticles were a mess. I left with beautiful nails. This place is cash only and happy to pay the $20 cash for a great experience. I returned the next day to get a pedicure for $30. I stopped my Fingertips Nail Salon today for an ingrown pedicure. I have a history of ingrowns, and frankly have undergone medical procedures to have them removed (which didn't work for me evidently). Jenny was able to take me right away, and she allowed me to have so much relief. (Anyone who has experienced ingrowns knows how painful they can be!! It's hard to describe but you can feel it right away and especially when you add back on your feet again). Jenny worked super quickly, and I didn't get any color on my toes, so I was out in under 30 minutes. This salon was easy to access off public transit and very clean. It was very quiet and calm in the salon, and I felt as comfortable as I could. read more

I got my nails done by Jenny and she did a great job and was very timely and hospitable! I got a fill for my acrylic. I had actually come at a down time because the shop had been burglarized that morning and had a broken door. My roommate and I spontaneously decided to get our nails done today. We stopped by two other salons, but were turned down. Luckily Jenny was finishing up a client at the time and said she would be able to take us one at a time. Jenny was attentive and fast! She was really helpful in helping us choose colors and also offered cat eye polish. Jenny really knows her stuff! Jenny will spend quality salon time with you to ensure that you get exactly what you came in for and MORE. She will EXCEED your expectations! As a first time customer, I could clearly see that she went ABOVE and BEYOND in giving me a unique surprise at the end of my gel manicure. I plan on keeping Jenny in charge of my hands and feet. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the quality of my nails this time, especially considering the price. I got a gel extension manicure and a pedicure and ended up paying $178 total (including $15 tip), which honestly shocked me. I was charged extra to remove my previous acrylics, and I also asked for callus remover during the pedicure, which somehow made the pedicure price extremely high. The pedicure itself was okay, but the massage was very underwhelming. The bigger issue is the manicure. There's visible gel/glue buildup underneath several of my nails, and they just don't look professionally finished. For the amount I paid, I expected much cleaner work and better attention to detail. I really wanted to love my experience because I had such good experiences here in the past, but unfortunately this visit did not match the quality or value I expected.

This nail spa…read morehas recently renovated its premises so I thought the quality of their services may have been elevated. Unfortunately, I have experienced a rather revolting situation today. An elderly man came in for a pedicure and sat in a chair one spot away from me. As soon as he took his shoe and socks off, I noticed his fungus nails. They were gray, raised and extremely thick! As his pedicure progressed, his attending technician asked a nearby colleague for an emery board (previously used on the colleague's client) to use on the man's nails. This was shocking to me for sheer hygiene purposes. E-file bits were used on the said gentleman's toe nails with no sterilisation process in place. Likewise, file bits were also seen being taken out of boxes for other surrounding clients. When checking out, I spoke to the female owner discreetly about my disappointment. While I understand, the business cannot discriminate clientele, I would not have felt sick to my stomach to witness this man's badly afflicted toe nails and their hygiene protocol. Said owner said sterilisation of equipment do take place but cutters and tools are all stored in wicker baskets reused on clients. They are not taken out of sterilisers or packs. As for the quality of their service, my manicurist is someone who has taken care of my nails before (I was not chuffed the last time) but I was equally not pleased with her work this time. I had to ask her 3x to trim my cuticles after she had finished the mani. I paid in full for my services but chose not to tip because I did not think the quality of work has improved and professionally this place needs to do better for the future.

I ultimately had to stop and ask another staff member walking by to help translate. Additionally, pricing was not transparent. The service is listed online as $70 for a gel builder fill, but I was charged $85. When I asked about it, I was told I had already been given a discount, which was confusing and not explained. This technician needs more professionalism and should be spoken to regarding both technique and customer care. Overall, this experience felt rushed and careless, which was very disappointing given how great my first visit was.

Today was my second time visiting Fingertips Nail Salon in two months. Both Jenny and Yen are very professional, welcoming and are excellent manicurists. My gel manicure from my last visit lasted a month. Jenny took extra care with not one, but two ingrown toe nails leaving me with a very smooth and beautiful pedicure. I might also mention the eye brow waxing made them flawlessly even! Yen is meticulous in her work and gives a revitalizing hand and foot massage. The salon itself is very clean, newly painted and the new spa massage chairs add a therapeutic experience. I will definitely return to Fingertips Nail Salon for my manicure and waxing needs. I was on the road traveling and couldn't wait to get back for a mani-pedi with Jenny and Yan!! It had been 4 weeks since my last fill here, and aside from my nails growing out, my polish was still good and no broken or lifted nails! Jenny really does a great job each and every time. My pedicures with Yan are wonderful! Sooooo relaxing. The price is right, too! Chips, cracks, lifts, peeling.... it happens. But if there is ever a problem, the girls will fix ANYTHING ! I've always been able to walk in and not wait long at all. ( usually weekdays after work) During some busy times, I never felt like I was being rushed like at some other salons. Jenny and Kim are so wonderful, friendly, and very professional. I've known them for over ten years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Jenny is easily the best person to see for your waxing needs, your pedi and mani. I tried a number of places in Bay Area before being referred to Jenny and will never change again. She manages to be perfect mixture of careful and quick. I love getting my nails and my waxing done here! I love the service and care that I get at Fingertips Nail Salon from Jenny and Yen! They take really great care of me while I'm getting my manicure and pedicure done at that nail salon!! One time I had a really bad ingrown toe nail issue that I had on my Big Left Toe and Jenny took out the dead skin and cleaned out that specific toe. Since then I haven't ever had an ingrown toe nail issue ever again. Thank you so very much Jenny and Yen!!! read more

Jenny is the absolute best! I drive 30 minutes each way just to see her despite there being so many closer salons because I know she does the best job. I never did acrylics before seeing Jenny because I had a bad experience but she came highly recommended and the reviews were spot on! My nails come out perfect every time and last for weeks.
