Hey family! It's been a little while. I've dined here for brunch about a handful of times now. It might be more than that at this point. What can I say? The food was really good as well as the service. I appreciate a no fuss brunch and when I want to feel a little more laid back, I come here. They do have a buffet if you want some of everything and it's about $28. I'm sure they've went up from what they used to charge. I would only recommend getting it if you're really hungry. They are super accommodating and I love they have an assortment of teas. It's cozy and during the times I've went, it's not super crowded. If you're not sure, it can't hurt to make a reservation. I will definitely come back for lunch and dinner when I get the chance.

The breakfast buffet on Sunday was quite good. It's very much like a decent hotel buffet - picture the type normal Marriott's used to have before they started taking it away. The food was good and the buffet was well stocked. They had Gluten Free options including a muffin. The kids loved the biscuits and waffles that were available! It's a beautiful remodel of the whole building as well. I haven't been here in a very long time prior to this visit, so I don't remember the old look in great detail, but the new look is nice.

    Old Fashioned! Delicious. Well prepared.

Amazing evening. Stopped in with my girlfriend for drinks and dinner. Definitely impressed! The Grandover itself is impressive but this restaurant is at the heart of it all. Lighting, sunset, high ceilings and attentive staff. This was a true dining experience. We started off with some drinks from the 1808 bar. A perfect old fashioned for me and she had a cape fear, light blueberry crafted cocktail. We skipped the appetizers and salads to go straight for dinner. Chef Kelvin was walking the floor and recommenced the duck and dumplings. She had the Salmon risotto. The dumplings with my duck were phenomenal. All made from scratch. My duck was perfect medium (I miss well prepared duck) Her Salmon was juicy with that sought after crust from high heat. Finished with a light chive oil. Risotto was creamy and delicious. Skipped dessert but we will definitely be back with friends and to the full Monty.

I've been wanting to come and try Finial, mostly for dinner but I came for breakfast and it was good! I got a cheddar and mushroom omelette with turkey bacon and a biscuit. The omelette was really well made, not a huge fan of the turkey bacon and the biscuit was pretty good (may have been overcooked a little because the sides were too hard to bite). The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the mural on the ceiling is beautiful. They also have great service. I'd like to come back for dinner because that seems like where they shine the most.

Andrea and I "Scooted" in last weekend; - We had Dinner Friday Evening - Cocktails were excellent; Meal was an overall A with great service. Relaxed and Classy Vibe is Pricelless - Nonetheless, the "Hidden Gem" is the Buffet Breakfast - Sunday Morning; - I think they have the same Breakfast on Saturday as well. Delicious & Very well worth it! - Excellent Pricepoint! - The Nigerian Chef and his Crew working in the "Open Kitchen" were exceptional! So kind, helpful and polite with great attitude. A true example of that "Old School" Southern Hospitality - We would return just for the Breakfast. Seating was extremely comfortable - Buffet Breakfast includes Juice and Coffee as well. Our waiter was exceptional! Safe to say - this is the Best Breakfast you are going to find in Greensboro - Trust us! A+

Needed something to kick a sweet craving and this was just the trick. The chocolate bread pudding tastes so rich and gooey with the caramel add on the ice cream and crumb topping and it was next level. Paired well with a nice red wine and music by Justin Reid at the bar.

    Afternoon on the terrace.

Great location for baby/bridal showers and weddings. The grounds were immaculate with lots of details. The staff were amazing, very accommodating.

This is a rebrand of Divalletta located in the Grandover Resort. The brunch is wonderful. The service was slow so if you are in a hurry this is not the place to go. We had the Ham, Egg and Cheese Panini and fruit and the French Toast. We shared the Beignets (they were out of the Krispy Kreme Bread pudding) The coffee was smooth and the ambiance is really nice. After Brunch we sat by the fireplace and talked and then viewed the Art exhibit in the lobby. I love Grandover, I hope you do too.

Breakfast Combo (turkey sausage, grits, over easy eggs, and biscuit)

I was staying at the Grandover and decided to stop in for breakfast. This place was delicious, I would recommend it to anyone whether they are a guest at the resort or not! There are a boatload of options and the restaurant is connected to their coffee bar so I was able to order a delicious latte! The staff was very slow so I would not recommend this place if you are in a rush.

I came here for my birthday dinner with friends and i have to say it was very good so much that we are still talking about how good this corn bread was. I ordered the corn bread and prawns as a starter and i was not expecting to enjoy the prawns as much as i did they where very flavorful! I also ordered the Prime Rib special and it surely did not disappoint me i will say my friend ordered the salmon and it was a bit fishy in my opinion but over all we enjoyed everything so much that I came back for dinner the next day and ordered the corn bread again lol. i also had the cucumber gazpacho which was amazing as well as the furniture market salad. Over all the service was great our server on both days was very attentive and helpful. This is a good spot for a cute date night or even family gatherings i would recommend this to anyone looking for a good upscale southern meal .

Food was actually amazing! The cornbread was a tad bit on the sweeter side. The lobster shrimp and grits was a 10/10. Very flavorful. The service was just a little slow.

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu. You can't go wrong at southern roots.

The sides were a standout, especially the Parmesan spaghetti squash, which I highly recommend. We had to put some extra salt on the sides, but that's purely personal preference. They also had several reasonably priced drink specials, which was a nice surprise. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and a big part of what made the meal so enjoyable. Overall, a really solid dining experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying. I don't eat sweets often, so this was the perfect treat to end my day with. I am definitely looking forward to trying the lemon blueberry next!

I started with a Cajun Martini made with jalapeño-infused vodka, and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. It did not taste artificially jalapeño-flavored; it had a real kick and just the right amount of heat. We started with the Crawfish Rangoon Dip, and honestly, I could have made a meal out of it. I have had Rangoon dips before, but this one was especially smooth and full of flavor. If I had been at home, I probably would have been tempted to run my finger around the bowl to get every last bit. For my entrée, I had the Shrimp Étouffée. Others at the table ordered the Duck Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and Gumbo Yaya. My dish seemed to get better with every bite. The Creole stew was rich and deeply flavorful without being over the top. I was especially glad our waitress suggested adding a side of garlic bread to mop up the sauce. Even the garlic bread stood out, toasted on the grill with a slightly smoky flavor. It felt like real attention had been paid to every detail. We all tried each other's dishes, and I would happily go back and order any one of them. The banana pudding at the end of the meal was just as good. It had a strong banana flavor and was not overly sweet. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the meal moved at a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. My only complaint was the noise level. The restaurant has a tiled ceiling, and it got loud enough that at times, it was difficult to hear people on the other side of the table. Even with that, I would go back to Blue Denim!

The crawfish rangoon dip was delightfully cheesy with large pieces of crawfish, the chili sauce was sweet and had a tiny bit of heat, and I loved the crisp and light wonton chips. The shrimp and grits were almost as delicious as I remembered from my visit years ago. There is a moderate amount of cajun spices, so if you don't like somewhat spicy food, you may want to ask to see if they can adjust this, but I loved it as is. My husband had the King Catfish plate and really enjoyed it, though we both agreed the Shrimp and Grits was superior. My only complaint with Blue Denim is the noise level. It is a small space with a charming interior, but given its tight quarters, it can get quite loud even if the restaurant is only half full. I'm not sure how they would go about fixing this, but if the weather is nice (as it was in this latest visit) I will opt to eat at one of their outdoor tables.

I really can't judge on that because I haven't sampled other fried chicken in the vicinity but based on my own research of sampling fried chicken all over North Carolina, I feel confident in my assumption.
