Food is good but Service was ok! The layout they have for the servers it's not very efficient. We were sat on the patio and our server kept running all the way inside the entrance tables to serve other guest. We kept waiting for our server to comeback outside to ask for napkins, a kids menu and an a refill. By the time the server came back with our napkins we were already done with our food. I had to share some of my water with my husband and take out wet wipes from my purse. We looked up the kids menu online so it wasn't a big deal. We order a Ruben sandwich, a Bison Burger, rose wine, yoda shot and a kids grill cheese and fruit. Ordered buffalo chicken wings, double smash burger, and deviled eggs. The burger was okay - you should order a side or else you'll be hungry. The eggs - not the best - the mustard filling doesn't work. And the wings - simply terrible. They didn't taste fresh. The batter was like cardboard. I reported this to the waiter - it wasn't taken off the check. The way to bring customers back is to listen to them, not charge them for food they can barely eat. Very simple rule. read more

They overcharged me $26 because I asked for a sample of beer. The happy hour tater tots consisted of approximately 12 tater tots. It was overpriced at eight dollars let alone regular menu price. Bravo Finneys! 1st time at the Camarillo location. Not surprised to hit this place during lunch on a Saturday and have an hour wait. We waited, ordered a beer at the bar and hung out at the back patio to watch a friendly game of cornhole. Finally got a text my table was ready. Service was prompt and waiter was very friendly. Ordered out drinks and appetizer. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Those were warm and delicious. They come with two sauces, sweet red and horseradish honey mustard. I was not a fan of either but my picky pallet can be very picky. I asked for an extra side of chipotle aioli and they hit the spot. Split a Peggy's chicken sandwich with its Fresno's chilis and it was perfect. Side of tots. The addition of sriracha ketchup is always a must. Delicious beer every time! I usually order captain fatty pilsner but not available at this location. Substituted for naughty pine pilsner and it dis the trick. Not gonna lie, had some of the blood orange hef from finneys and it was quiet delicious. Must try this place. Always a win with drinks and food. read more

I am here with my mom. Also our waitress Jackie was incredible and I definitely recommend this place. was my first time. I also ordered the pepperoni pizza and onion rings it was delicious! Went here tonight for dinner, was told it would possibly be a 1/2 hour wait, but we were seated in 5 minutes. Our server was Ethan and he was so efficient and attentive. Drinks, appetizers and food came out fast. He came by numerous times to check on us and refill drinks where needed. We all really enjoyed our food and service. My mom and I decided to finally try Finney's for the first time, and it was WELL WORTH the wait... From the first hello from the hostess (Kathy-I pray I remembered the correct name-if not, she is the sweet, friendly, "seasoned" young lady), to the last goodbye, it was a GREAT experience. Then we had an AMAZING waitress (Jackie). She was genuinely kind and attentive. THEN... The cook!!! The food was SO DELICIOUS!!! We talked about it the rest of the day. After our appraiser, a kind gentleman stopped by to clear the table in preparation for our outcoming food. (I later found out it was the manager.) As we were wrapping up, a kind young gentleman stopped by and noticed our drinks were low and bought refills to go. I was going to leave a comment on the Kiosk, but I'm not that patient. LOL! Instead, we asked for the manager. Even though it was busy, he made time to stop by. (That's when we discovered that the nice gentleman from earlier was the manager.) Fist time here, this place was phenomenal, we went for a late lunch. I had the cheese steak sandwich with a side salad and a bourbon smash (Alcohol Drink) , my wife had the egg jalapeño veggie burger with fries and my son had the kids meal cheese pizza with sweet potato fries. The food was outstanding, we had a great time there. The staff was also great, super helpful with food and drink recommendations. I look forward to coming back next time I'm in Camarillo. Last Tuesday was our third and perhaps last visit to this location. My husband and I arrived at 4:40 and was told that the wait would be about 15-20 minutes with half the tables empty and only 2 parties ahead of us. After 10 minutes I asked the courteous hostess what the problem was and were immediately seated. Was this an insidious attempt to have us seated after happy hour? Seemed like it. Service was painfully slow though the young male server tried his best as he also had a party of 10. Being experienced restauranteurs we would expect that management would schedule appropriately. Management needs to do better! And by the way, why isn't a manager checking in regularly with guests? Have never encountered one!! Gave commendation to the cook who did a great job honoring a couple of our requests. Any chance of serving a fruity sangria or white zinfandel for light drinkers? Honest review I've gone 3+ times disappointed each time we have gotten one plate of food. The other two plates never came making it unpleasant. We were asked to move from our table due to a bigger party arriving no other table was available. We were forced to sit outside while the weather was very cold and windy heater was not strong enough although the beer was a 8.9 overall after the last chance, and each time being a disappointment, we will not be returning, considering this is one of the newest restaurant Camarillo kind of has it's a big disappointment THUMBS DOWN read more

Workers gets nervous when people walk in. Anxiety is on the rise or maybe it's the culture they have or the training they didn't receive on how to receive people. They're nice people though. Food portions are small with quality equivalent to low standard bar food and beverages are decent, both definitely over priced. Didn't get treated terribly but better recommendations are necessary.
