We went to Finney's this past Saturday, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent as always. We started with the nachos, which were just as delicious as I remembered. For my main course, I had the Smash Burger Double with a side of onion rings, and everything was absolutely perfect. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the onion rings were crispy and delicious. One thing that would really improve the experience is having nutritional information available. Our son, who has Type 1 Diabetes, was with us, and having access to carb counts and other details would have been extremely helpful for managing his insulin. Indoor seating by the bar area & also bar seating. It was definitely a busy restaurant on a Wednesday. We all had the same idea, to start off the New Year @ Finney's. What we ordered: Buffalo Cauliflower - I've ordered this multiple times. It's one of my favorites. Cheesesteak Eggrolls- These were good. The sauces that it came with reminded me of the Asian dips that you dip those crunchy noodles in. Tri-Tip Tacos- Good sized taco. I didn't care for whatever was on the tortilla. I would prefer a plain, fresh corn tortilla. The flavor kind of took away from the tri-tip flavor. Great place to watch sports. Waited a few minutes for a table to open up in their bar area on presidents' day. It was pretty busy! However they have plenty of tables and an outdoor patio. The host was friendly and offered to put our name on the wait while we looked for a table. Once a table opened up a busser came and cleaned it immediately for us and we sat down. Our server was attentive and checked up on us several times which was great because we spaced out our orders. Their mini Ahi Poke Tacos are great but very VERY small. They ended up taking them off of the bill for us, which I believe was because it took a very long time for them to come out. We hadn't complained though, so it was a nice surprise when we got the bill. The steak taquitos are good too and perfect if you're looking for something a little bigger. Not on the happy hour menu, but would definitely recommend the buffalo cauliflower appetizer. Super tasty and great for sharing. Drinks were also good and arrived at the table quickly. I've been coming to Finney's for as long as I can remember. I don't visit as often now since I no longer live in the area, but whenever I'm nearby, I like to stop in. The food is solid I mainly come for the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the lemonade, which are both great. That said, the service can be hit or miss. On a recent visit, our server seemed like she might have been under the influence of something. Her eyes were red, she kept asking the same questions over and over, and she looked completely out of it like she was just standing there, unsure of what to do. To be fair, she was very friendly and still did her job, but it was hard not to notice that something was off. I came back another day with my family, and the service was again disappointing. The server never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink, didn't clear our table, and forgot to put in our order for fries which took about 30 minutes to come out after we reminded her. She seemed overwhelmed and forgetful the entire time. As someone who's worked in the restaurant industry, I understand that mistakes happen and things get hectic, but overall, the experience just felt disorganized. The food is decent, and the place has a nice vibe for casual drinks and bites, but I do wish the service was more consistent. read more

My boyfriend and I are regulars here, we come at least once a week and Finneys never falls short. The quality of the food is consistently good, he always gets the double smash burger and loves it everytime. I alternate between the chicken quesadillas, the bbq chicken pizza, or the Finney burger. The wait is never too long, and the service is good. The waiters and waitresses know the menu very well and are very helpful. My boyfriend used to like getting the whiskey smoke show but they unfortunately took it off the menu.. but our waitress helped him create a drink that was similar, and he enjoyed it. Overall a really good first time experience. They have a lot of food and beer options. We initially asked for an inside table with chairs and not a booth, they gave us the booth. One of the managers Daniel came and helped us out immediately. I got the jalapeño egg burger and onion rings. Both were excellent. I tried some of their Yuzu buffalo sauce and bbq sauce on it and both were tasty For the table we ordered the buffalo cauliflower, carnitas nachos, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and another regular burger. All of the food was tasty but unfortunately we didn't ever get the egg rolls. Daniel came over again and took it off the bill, offered to bring us some anyways for free, and even brought us a complimentary dessert after we paid. He was constantly going around to other tables and asking if other patrons needed anything. He was awesome! Definitely coming back again to try some of the other food and beers. read more

Waited an hour for a table. Our server Alexis looked so miserable and had such an attitude. My dad asked for coffee and She said they didn't have coffee unless she had to go brew some.. we asked for a water and sweetener. She took awhile to come back and our food arrived before then. Manager mentioned they were backed up in the kitchen after our meals were done. A little head up would have been appreciated. Def recommend their margarita flight! $25 My favorite one was the blood orange. For appetizers: Carnitas nachos were so yummy! it may have been that I was starving.. but honestly their were delicious! Finney's has a GREAT happy hour! Awesome variety of menu items and a handful of drinks to choose from including wine, beer and cocktails. Great prices! I've had a good amount of items on their happy hour menu. It's so hard to choose so it just depends on what you're craving and how many people you go with. The coconut shrimp is always a must. Their pretzel with cheese is freaking delicious. Comes out hot and piping every time! There's nothing like a hot fresh pretzel! Their mini cheeseburgers are also delicious! They come three to an order, but if you are two people and want to eat 2 each you can add an extra mini cheeseburger to your order... Or you can split that third mini cheeseburger between the two. They also have great margarita flatbread and pepperoni flatbread. Their buffalo cauliflower is great, you really can't go wrong with anything you choose on their happy hour menu :-) Hubby got the pineapple jalapeño margarita which he liked. It was not spicy but good. Food... Today we got the pretzel with all cheese dipping sauces (I think it comes with one cheese, one caramel, and one mustard) but I'm a cheese girl so all cheese it is! :-p so yummy!!!!! Pretzel is piping hot (and you should eat it alright away). It's delicious! The coconut shrimp is a must order! Huge plump shrimp coated with crispy goodness. I am not a coconut fan (hubby is) and these are deeeelicious!!!! Excellente!!!! The mini cheeseburgers are juicy Lucy! Asked for medium cooked and it was perfection! Tried this resto on my way to Burbank airport from Ventura. The place is huge -decided to eat at the patio since the inside feels so cold. Ordered lobster roll for appetizers and I can taste the bread more. It seems the bread is the Hawaiian rolls you can buy from the store - I was expecting they make their own bread My husband ordered fish tacos and shared with me. I couldn't eat the taco shell - it's not crispy nor crunchy. It's like stale. The taco shells from the store taste better. However my salmon sandwich was good. Service is fast. Ok, Finneys is yummy, kinda pricey but yummy. Last night I called at 545 and put our name on the waitlist for a party of 6. I was told it would be 15-30 mins. I headed over, got there about 605 and checked in. 615 pm I checked in with the hostess and she told me it could be an additional 30 mins for a table. At that point I told her inside of outside, we did not care. At 630, we were still waiting. We didn't sit down til 645- it was an hour in total! Meanwhile, I saw plenty of others being sat when I was 2nd in line on the waitlist for an hour. I don't get it. The most annoying thing about this besides being told 15-30 mins and it being 60 total, was the hostess telling me numerous times,: "I can't ask people to get up and leave." Wowwww. Not sure if she needs people training skill or what. read more

Finney's has really upped its game in the last year! I came when they first opened and were still maybe working out the kinks. I went back today and have to say I had a really great time. The service was so great, our waitress was attentive and friendly and just on it. The manager also checked on us throughout our visit. As a local I am at the vineyards often and I have to say that Finney's service is the best out of all the other restaurants. They truly pride themselves in treating their customers well. The decor and vibe is perfect for a Crafthouse. They had nice music playing outside and just great vibes all around. The food was great. I suggest just ordering a bunch of appetizers here bc that is where they shine most. I didn't get pics but we ate the mini lobster rolls, tater tots, Philly egg rolls, and Nashville sliders. Everything was cooked to perfection and super flavorful! I also got the maple beer which was great. The waitress was so helpful in helping me choose a beer I would like also. Looking forward to going back! Wish I had gotten her name but our waitress deserves some recognition. She was working on New Year's Day around 130pm in the indoor section to the right, she had a claw clip in her hair, and was just a delight! I'll update with her name if I see her again. read more

Just had a wonderful happy hour earlier with a close colleague. Their happy hour menu is really unbeatable and Gary's pepperoni flatbread is delish! The HH drinks are so refreshing.
