The wait on a Friday night was very accurate unfortunately haha but so worth it. I appreciated being told how it is. Ordered two drinks and a shareable pizza with French fries and they came out unbelievably quick I was so happy with that. The service was good as always I recommend coming here for some light dinner and drinks. read more

Our waitress Marley was very nice and we all liked her.she was kind, understanding, and very professional. It was my birthday and she wished me happy birthday as well as sang along with my family. My Grand daughter was very hyper as all 22 month olds are & she accommodated her and talked to her. It was a special night at Finney's and Marley was one of the reasons why.the atmosphere was awesome as always at Finney's . You have a diverse number of people that go there and it's fun! The bathrooms were clean and the entire restaurant was clean. The food was fabulous. They don't give too much or too little food but just the right amount. We had a fun evening ! I usually wouldn't wait an hour to eat at a restaurant but my son and I wanted to catch the World Cup game after our yoga class. The wait was pleasant thanks to Quez. He kept us updated with our wait # with a smile and kind spirit. When you walk into a restaurant, the greeting and wait sets the tone for your dining experience. I didn't even realize that I waited for an hour until after I was seated. A waitress was great. the food came out promptly at perfect temperature. There was someone consistently picking up finished plates. I would come back for sure! read more

My wife and I love going to Finney's especially on the weekend. The atmosphere is pleasing and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. Good food as always but our waitress messed up my friends order after asking her twice to place the chipotle on the side for his Taquitos and he even double checked with her at the end and she confirmed and yet it was still brought out with the chipotle drizzled over the taquitos. They also took a while to bring out our water and fries and the guy said sorry we're a little backed up. I notice the service here usually lags but I keep coming g because of the food. However they did take out some stuff from the menu and switched it up. My Buffalo boneless wings were nice and hot. The fries were okay in the end. The poke tacos were good but a little overpriced for the portion. I wish they would point out that fries or any sides is extra charge but they ask you like if it comes with it. Just another way to sneak it in. We waited about 35 min for a table on a Sunday noon so not too bad. I think there's been a longer wait. read more

Popped in for happy hour...from 3-5 you can kick back with some drinks and appetizers! The trick is you need to get here early as the inside is always packed, especially when you want to sit at the bar. There is also outdoor space when it's nice out. As for food, it's typical American bar food: lots of fried food on the menu but you can find some salads too if that's your jam! And excellent service from Nina! We went to Finney's this past Saturday, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent as always. We started with the nachos, which were just as delicious as I remembered. For my main course, I had the Smash Burger Double with a side of onion rings, and everything was absolutely perfect. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the onion rings were crispy and delicious. One thing that would really improve the experience is having nutritional information available. Our son, who has Type 1 Diabetes, was with us, and having access to carb counts and other details would have been extremely helpful for managing his insulin. Hopefully, they consider adding this in the future! read more

The burgers are amazingly good at every location I've been to, however I hate to say that the service was actually subpar. I went on st Patrick's Day, and I knew it would be busier than usual. Unfortunately, whether they were short staffed or just slow moving, if this was my first visit to one of the locations, it would be my last. Again, the burger was, as usual, super tasty. (I got the turkey burger this time), but if I chalk it up to being a holiday, management should've planned better. Finney's is located in Porter Ranch @ The Vineyards Shopping Center. Prime spot in the middle of other shops & restaurants. Looked like two outdoor patio dining areas. Indoor seating by the bar area & also bar seating. It was definitely a busy restaurant on a Wednesday. We all had the same idea, to start off the New Year @ Finney's. What we ordered: Buffalo Cauliflower - I've ordered this multiple times. It's one of my favorites. Cheesesteak Eggrolls- These were good. The sauces that it came with reminded me of the Asian dips that you dip those crunchy noodles in. Tri-Tip Tacos- Good sized taco. I didn't care for whatever was on the tortilla. I would prefer a plain, fresh corn tortilla. The flavor kind of took away from the tri-tip flavor. Great place to watch sports. Waited a few minutes for a table to open up in their bar area on presidents' day. It was pretty busy! However they have plenty of tables and an outdoor patio. The host was friendly and offered to put our name on the wait while we looked for a table. Once a table opened up a busser came and cleaned it immediately for us and we sat down. Our server was attentive and checked up on us several times which was great because we spaced out our orders. Their mini Ahi Poke Tacos are great but very VERY small. They ended up taking them off of the bill for us, which I believe was because it took a very long time for them to come out. We hadn't complained though, so it was a nice surprise when we got the bill. The steak taquitos are good too and perfect if you're looking for something a little bigger. Not on the happy hour menu, but would definitely recommend the buffalo cauliflower appetizer. Super tasty and great for sharing. Drinks were also good and arrived at the table quickly. I really enjoy their happy hour and will continue coming back! read more

I've been coming to Finney's for as long as I can remember. I don't visit as often now since I no longer live in the area, but whenever I'm nearby, I like to stop in. The food is solid I mainly come for the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the lemonade, which are both great. That said, the service can be hit or miss. On a recent visit, our server seemed like she might have been under the influence of something. Her eyes were red, she kept asking the same questions over and over, and she looked completely out of it like she was just standing there, unsure of what to do. To be fair, she was very friendly and still did her job, but it was hard not to notice that something was off. I came back another day with my family, and the service was again disappointing. The server never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink, didn't clear our table, and forgot to put in our order for fries which took about 30 minutes to come out after we reminded her. She seemed overwhelmed and forgetful the entire time. As someone who's worked in the restaurant industry, I understand that mistakes happen and things get hectic, but overall, the experience just felt disorganized. The food is decent, and the place has a nice vibe for casual drinks and bites, but I do wish the service was more consistent. read more

Finney's a great place to hang out with friends during happy hour. They got sports playing and the environment is overall upbeat. The staff is nice and patient to their customers, especially on their busy nights. However, the food doesn't always hit or make you say, "Wow this is bomb!". My boyfriend and I are regulars here, we come at least once a week and Finneys never falls short. The quality of the food is consistently good, he always gets the double smash burger and loves it everytime. I alternate between the chicken quesadillas, the bbq chicken pizza, or the Finney burger. The wait is never too long, and the service is good. The waiters and waitresses know the menu very well and are very helpful. My boyfriend used to like getting the whiskey smoke show but they unfortunately took it off the menu.. but our waitress helped him create a drink that was similar, and he enjoyed it. Ambiance is chill, on hot days they'll have the misters going outside. We love this place read more

I've been a long time customer of Finney's Westlake location which I love. On Friday I tried the new location in Porter Ranch and had the unpleasant experience of their inexperienced snowflake management. It was extremely busy with at least 30 people waiting for a table. There was a man inside who was taking up table for 8 all by himself. He was there a very long time, clearly drunk, talking to himself, and flipping off the TVs showing the Yankees baseball game. Needless to say he was making many others uncomfortable. I saw a woman ask the manager to move him to accommodate more patrons or ask him to leave. His behavior was very odd to say the least. The manager refused and said there was nothing she could do. Then I saw a young man approach this unruly patron and ask him to leave because he was drunk and taking up a lot of space others were waiting for. Unfortunately he refused to leave. The young man put his hand on his shoulder and tried again to convince him, but he refused. The manager then went after the young man who was trying to what they should have been doing!! They accused him of assaulting and harassing their customers!! It was the craziest most backwards bizarro thing I've ever seen. Then they told the young man and his group they would not be served and needed to leave. We were all in shock. Then the now empowered drunk patron took his shirt off and went outside and strutted around like an insane person. The manager defends this guy, but kicks out an entire family trying to the right thing because they didn't have the guts to do it? I will never return to this location as long as these feeble uneducated soft employees are running this place. It was a total joke!! read more

We had a good experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic. Our server was incredibly attentive and sweet, and everything came out quickly. Since we visited around noon on a Thursday, it was much quieter than a weekend crowd, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. For our entrees, I ordered the Moroccan salad with medium-rare steak, and my partner had the bison burger (also medium-rare) with sweet potato fries. The Moroccan salad was delicious! The tart dressing was perfectly balanced, and I especially loved the dried cherries and quinoa. Unfortunately, the steak was disappointing; it was overcooked and much drier than expected, more medium-well than medium-rare. My partner enjoyed the bison burger and the horseradish aioli on the side, but the sweet potato fries were overwhelmingly salty. Even after trying to brush off some of the salt, they were still barely edible. We also shared the avocado egg rolls and loaded tater tots as appetizers. The tater tots were unique; rather than the usual crispy texture, they seemed to have a thicker batter coating, making them less crumbly. While different, they were still enjoyable, especially with the toppings. The avocado egg rolls were my favorite, and the sweet and sour sauce with cilantro sauce was a perfect pairing. The restaurant itself was clean and had a great rustic vibe. I especially loved the high-top tables with spinning chairs! Overall, while some of the food was hit or miss, the excellent service and atmosphere made it a place worth revisiting (with a few tweaks to the seasoning and steak preparation). read more

This was my third time having lunch at Finney's Crafthouse. The food has been good and consistent, and the location is convenient, especially if you are already shopping nearby. That said, I cannot help but feel the place was stronger when it first opened. Each visit has felt a bit different, largely because the staff seems to change constantly. Everyone has been young, polite, and well intentioned, but also very transient, which gives the impression of limited continuity or oversight. What really stood out happened recently when I accidentally left my glasses on the table. I tried calling the restaurant several times on Saturday, 12/13, during normal business hours. No one answered. The phone rang endlessly before routing to a voicemail that was full and instructed callers to try again during business hours, even though it was, in fact, business hours. I tried another option on the phone system, including ordering, with the same result. It was genuinely surprising. That experience reinforced a feeling I have had for a while. It seems like a business that may be prioritizing expansion over quality and operational details. When something as basic as a full voicemail or unanswered phones goes unresolved, it suggests management may be stretched too thin or disconnected from day to day realities. The Mini Lobster Rolls are another standout. They have a refreshing, light flavor that's perfect for a warm day or whenever you're craving something a bit indulgent but not too heavy. The lobster is always fresh, and the rolls are buttery and delicious. Their Margherita Pizza is also top-notch. It's a classic done right, with fresh basil, ripe tomatoes, and gooey mozzarella on a perfectly baked crust. Simple, yet so satisfying. I also have to rave about the Garlic Parmesan Wings. I am beyond upset at this point. After your response to my previous review, we decided to eat out in Porter Ranch this Friday and didn't even consider Finney's because of what happened. However, I did walk inside just to see if any changes had actually been made. To my disbelief NO changes at all. In fact, the same waitress was doing the exact same thing. Handling garnishes with bare hands after touching multiple other surfaces and then putting them directly into guests' drinks. This is not a minor issue. This is basic food safety. So now I have to wonder is management not being taken seriously? Or does the staff simply not care about hygiene and potential food contamination? Because it's clearly still happening. Watching employees touch counters, POS screens, glassware, and other shared surfaces and then immediately handle food items going into drinks for customers to consume is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. At this point, apologies mean nothing without action. If I walk by again and see the same unsafe practices, I will record it and post it publicly. Customers deserve to know. I love this chain of restaurants and I am happy to have something new and fresh around that actually has great cocktails and good food. I love the mango mule cocktail and honestly their beer selection is top notch, unless your my husband who prefers a Bud Light. Then your out of luck. BUT, he actually went out of his comfort zone and had a Mexican lager that he loved. Our first time visiting Finney's was the one in Ventura, and I have noticed they are not the biggest restaurants. But, while we waited it was great to sit out front and have a waitress ask our drink orders so we could have a cocktail while we waited an hour. Go early, especially on the weekends. We went Saturday at 5pm and waited an hour, which was to be expected. Once we got in we got into their great apps, buffalo cauliflower for the win!! Chicken and waffle bites and delicious carnitas waffles. I had the Moroccan salad which was insanely good and left me craving it through the weekend. When we got seated, our server, Ashley, was phenomenal! She was so welcoming and friendly! Her service was also impeccable, we got our food so quickly. As for the food: DELICIOUS! We started with two appetizers: Carnitas nachos and buffalo cauliflower. The cilantro Crema on the Carnitas nachos was so creamy and a beautiful touch. We had a great overall experience at the Porter Ranch location. The manager, Stacey, has this place running smoothly and always has a warm welcoming smile. Mitch really stood out. He makes our wait seem shorter as he routinely checks on patrons and provides updates on wait times. He not only showed us the new Finney's apparel for sale, but he also noticed our kids were a little tired and unruly. He quickly recommended the $3 games on the tableside tablet which allowed us adults to enjoy our time after a long day. We went to this place on a whim while visiting friends in the thousand oaks area. It had a big menu and everything was delicious. There were four of us and we got one pizza, the coconut shrimp, two salads and the mahi fish sandwich. As well as some sweet potato fries! First we sat outside but we are directly in the sun because there are no umbrellas, so we asked to move elsewhere. My experience at this restaurant after a movie wasn't the best. The wings had too much breading and they seemed to have missed removing hair from them, which was off-putting. Overall, the dining experience wasn't terrible, but seeing that once made me skeptical about returning. I still frequent this place a lot. Everything I have previously stated about the business continues to be true. The food is great. I have come to really love the King Salmon sandwich and the lobster rolls. I also the love the Ceasar the dressing is light which is great. Server was less than interested in providing top service. Eg Menu has mahi mahi tacos and shrimp tacos. Both same price. Asked to split 1 mahi and 1 shrimp. "No. Can't do it." Any good server or manager would just say "of course!" and make it happen. Sorry to see service declining. read more

It wasn't the best experience but the food itself was pretty good and we have a local Yard House that we frequent, just might not drop by this one again especially if we are on a schedule.
