Overall a really good first time experience. They have a lot of food and beer options. We initially asked for an inside table with chairs and not a booth, they gave us the booth. One of the managers Daniel came and helped us out immediately. I got the jalapeño egg burger and onion rings. Both were excellent. I tried some of their Yuzu buffalo sauce and bbq sauce on it and both were tasty For the table we ordered the buffalo cauliflower, carnitas nachos, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and another regular burger. All of the food was tasty but unfortunately we didn't ever get the egg rolls. Daniel came over again and took it off the bill, offered to bring us some anyways for free, and even brought us a complimentary dessert after we paid. He was constantly going around to other tables and asking if other patrons needed anything. He was awesome! Definitely coming back again to try some of the other food and beers. read more

2nd time visiting a Mr. Finneys! First time at this location. Great food and okay service! it did take long to get our food. Manager mentioned they were backed up in the kitchen after our meals were done. A little head up would have been appreciated. Def recommend their margarita flight! $25 My favorite one was the blood orange. For appetizers: Carnitas nachos were so yummy! it may have been that I was starving.. but honestly their were delicious! Entrees: A5 Waygu Burger was perfect! it comes with bacon, crispy onion, mustard aioli. Cooked to perfection! Decent size portion. They have a special sauce for fries I was obsessed with it. Everything tastes great. The veggie burger tasted good and, the Brussels sprouts are one of my favorites. Service is prompt. The patio seating allows pets. The plaza that it is in is FILLED with different places, so it can be a little overwhelming to search for it (I've noticed some places don't have big signs out front either, or they're not noticeable). Finney's has a GREAT happy hour! Awesome variety of menu items and a handful of drinks to choose from including wine, beer and cocktails. Great prices! I've had a good amount of items on their happy hour menu. It's so hard to choose so it just depends on what you're craving and how many people you go with. The coconut shrimp is always a must. Their pretzel with cheese is freaking delicious. Comes out hot and piping every time! There's nothing like a hot fresh pretzel! Their mini cheeseburgers are also delicious! They come three to an order, but if you are two people and want to eat 2 each you can add an extra mini cheeseburger to your order... Or you can split that third mini cheeseburger between the two. They also have great margarita flatbread and pepperoni flatbread. Their buffalo cauliflower is great, you really can't go wrong with anything you choose on their happy hour menu :-) Hubby got the pineapple jalapeño margarita which he liked. It was not spicy but good. Food... Today we got the pretzel with all cheese dipping sauces (I think it comes with one cheese, one caramel, and one mustard) but I'm a cheese girl so all cheese it is! :-p so yummy!!!!! Pretzel is piping hot (and you should eat it alright away). It's delicious! The coconut shrimp is a must order! Huge plump shrimp coated with crispy goodness. I am not a coconut fan (hubby is) and these are deeeelicious!!!! Excellente!!!! The mini cheeseburgers are juicy Lucy! Asked for medium cooked and it was perfection! Tried this resto on my way to Burbank airport from Ventura. The place is huge -decided to eat at the patio since the inside feels so cold. Ordered lobster roll for appetizers and I can taste the bread more. It seems the bread is the Hawaiian rolls you can buy from the store - I was expecting they make their own bread My husband ordered fish tacos and shared with me. I couldn't eat the taco shell - it's not crispy nor crunchy. It's like stale. The taco shells from the store taste better. However my salmon sandwich was good. Service is fast. Our server only came by 2x. The rest of our requests were handled by either another crew or the busboy. read more

Waited an hour for a table. Our server Alexis looked so miserable and had such an attitude. My dad asked for coffee and She said they didn't have coffee unless she had to go brew some.. we asked for a water and sweetener. She took awhile to come back and our food arrived before then. I asked the food runner for water and she also had an attitude and said "I'll let her know." The waitress came back after our food arrived. Finney's has really upped its game in the last year! I came when they first opened and were still maybe working out the kinks. I went back today and have to say I had a really great time. The service was so great, our waitress was attentive and friendly and just on it. The manager also checked on us throughout our visit. As a local I am at the vineyards often and I have to say that Finney's service is the best out of all the other restaurants. They truly pride themselves in treating their customers well. The decor and vibe is perfect for a Crafthouse. They had nice music playing outside and just great vibes all around. The food was great. I suggest just ordering a bunch of appetizers here bc that is where they shine most. I didn't get pics but we ate the mini lobster rolls, tater tots, Philly egg rolls, and Nashville sliders. Everything was cooked to perfection and super flavorful! I also got the maple beer which was great. The waitress was so helpful in helping me choose a beer I would like also. Looking forward to going back! Wish I had gotten her name but our waitress deserves some recognition. Bottom line trash and greasy food. The amount of seed oils that the chicken tenders are fried are enough to kill someone. Extremely unhealthy, fatty, greasy and straight up disgusting food that was served to me at Finneys Crafthouse. They charge a lot for their food and yet it tasted horrible. I wouldn't even feed my dog with this type of food, no exaggeration, it sucks and no one should ever step foot inside this gruesome establishment. Spend your money wisely and go next door grab a high quality beef burger from In-N-Out or perhaps some high quality ribeye tacos from La Popular. That being said, the workers are nice, just the food they serve is disgusting and that is no fault of the employees. I mentioned to the employee that I did not like it and they were able to take it off the bill. No joke, now I have extreme stomach pain and I'm sure it was from the food I just consumed unfortunately because it did not sit well. read more

We tried the Finney's in porter ranch mainly for the beers and were not let down! Overall rating: 6/10 Beers were so good! - Tarantula Hill sour (flavor was blackberry and raspberry)! It was a solid 10/10. -mother earth cali creamin was a 10/10 -Finney's light was a 6/10! Nothing special Food -Pretzel was a 10/10! So yummy! The caramel that came with it was soooo good and I am not a caramel person at all. Paired so good with the salty and soft pretzel. -A5 wagyu burger was a 7/10. A solid choice of a burger! - mango habanero boneless wings were a 4/10. Honestly, the wings came out soggy They had a good spice and flavoring. The low rating comes from the actual quality of chicken wings themselves. We also came late so it could just be that it was a bad time....not sure. - truffle fries were a 5/10. Came out soggy, and they tasted a little old/stale. Parking Parking was easy, considering we came at eight! We thought the music was good and not too loud. it was raining and although we sat outside the heaters kept us so warm. Definitely such a cute vibe inside and outside. Ok, Finneys is yummy, kinda pricey but yummy. Last night I called at 545 and put our name on the waitlist for a party of 6. I was told it would be 15-30 mins. I headed over, got there about 605 and checked in. 615 pm I checked in with the hostess and she told me it could be an additional 30 mins for a table. At that point I told her inside of outside, we did not care. At 630, we were still waiting. We didn't sit down til 645- it was an hour in total! Meanwhile, I saw plenty of others being sat when I was 2nd in line on the waitlist for an hour. I don't get it. The most annoying thing about this besides being told 15-30 mins and it being 60 total, was the hostess telling me numerous times,: "I can't ask people to get up and leave." Wowwww. Not sure if she needs people training skill or what. read more

Self-parking is free but hard to find as there are way too many businesses there that attract large crowds, including an AMC Theatre. There is no Valet parking. Venue 4: Nice, modern and inviting set up with indoor booths and tables and outdoor seating. They also have a large bar area. Service 4: Service was polite and attentive. Food 4: Traditional bar and grill fare. Can't go wrong with the many appetizers and sandwiches. I particularly like their burgers. Drinks 4: Large list of specialty cocktails, and a huge list of beers on tap (not as many as the Yard House but still pretty substantial). Small selection of wines as well. The Last Word 4: Great place to relax with friends and have some comfort food and great beer and cocktails. Reasonably priced. One of my go-to places! read more

I don't have much to say, it's good, reliable, and fine service. The only thing I'd say, is if you want to go out, but don't know what to have, this place is good. I'm bragging about Finney's Porter Ranch happy hoppy hour specifically - and I used to turn my nose up at this NEW winery inspired shopping center! Okay, okay so maybe I'm biased because as a CSUN graduate I know these stomping grounds well, long before "The Vinyards" saw fruit on the vine. But with development comes new opportunities and growth and to be fair, I'm a big fan of this new block from Whole Foods to Finney's. That's why in my humble opinion, Finney's PR is the best happy hour in town for your buck - hands down. Largely because Finney's PR is one of the few (if only?) locations to serve Ventura County's Made West Hazy IPA; the fruitiest, smoothest Cali hazy there is. Coupled with Finney's happy hour eats between 3 and 5pm, it's a slam dunk! You already know my opinion of Finney's bar menu featuring 30 craft draft beers, as for consumable cuisine this review stands solely as a happy hour critique. In my research for the Valley's HH value deal, thus far Finney's Porter Ranch stands out as the ideal deal, and here's what why. Food: With a variety of tasty "bar bites" ranging between $7 (Bavarian Pretzel, Loaded Tater Tots, Chicken Quesadilla, Gary's Pepperoni Pizza), $8, $9, and "the combo" (choice of Finney Burger or Peggy's Crispy Chicken, fries & choice of beer or soda) for $15, there's plenty of tapas to fill up on. Sure, options may not fit your gluten free, vegan paleo diet but then perhaps Finney's craft house isn't for you. Last time I checked, The Combo fed two comfortably (juicy burger or crispy chicken), same as the $9 nachos, or a flatbread pizza. They're all good quality eats! I suggest the coconut shrimp over mini ahi poke tacos. Service: In my experience there's no shortage of servers or swift service and minimal wait time. The implementation of a self-service table tablet for games and payment allows servers to tend to tables attentively. Ambiance: Finney's Porter Ranch offers two heated/covered outdoor dining options, booths, high tops for two or more, and room for a dozen to belly up at the bar. The restaurant is clean and presentable. On two occasions I've encountered what can only be described as, "funky bar mat" smell. Surrounded by Americana, nostalgic pop art, and good tunes Finney's feels like a summer BBQ. To the servers and staff of Finney's Porter Ranch, thank you! The bar staff were friendly and professional- they had a ton of orders but somehow never seemed too rushed to check in or take our order. Wonderful service, thank you!
