My first experience at fire wings will unfortunately be my last :( I was super excited to try this place. The sauces sounded delicious and unique. I placed an order online and picked it up when they told me it would be ready. I drove back to my job and headed to the break room to eat. I purchased an order as well for my colleague. I never once opened my co workers meal that was in the Togo box. It sat on the table for about 20 mins before he was able to come up and eat it. When he opened his box he was taken back by the nest of fly eggs that was sitting on one of the drum stick chicken wings. I called the store Immediately and spoke with a young lady who was very friendly and understanding when I explained my situation. Since I was at work, The young lady told me it was ok to come back in The following day with my receipt and the order of wings with the fly eggs and I could get another meal. So I showed up today and politely and quietly explained my situation to the cashier. I handed her my receipt and she went to talk to her manager. The manager then came over to me and told me that they do not typically give refunds on to-go food. He said they do not have flys inside their establishment. (While one almost hit me in the face when I walked in) and there was no way to prove that it didn't happen after I left. He then said he was going to make an exception for me and I don't look like the typical person who tries to get a free meal. I felt judged, and wondered what does the typical person who tries to get a free meal look like? I worked in hospitality for over 10 years!!! I would have never said that as a manager! I would have apologized and made it right without making my guest feel shame or guilt. But instead I was judged and made out to be someone who was trying to get free food. Extremely unorganized! I had placed a to go order in my boyfriend's name to be picked up at this location. Pick up time was 10:45 and he got there a little later to make sure the order was ready to go. Got there and they informed him that there was no rice. Of course that is never a problem, I understand it's the end of the night and there isn't any left. The girl asked him if he wanted A substitute, he asked for zucchini sticks. She proceeded to give him a number and told him it would be a little wait. Few minutes pass and he checks around at the servers, also staring at him back. 10 more minutes pass and he looks up again at the servers to see if he can catch their attention since it's been around 15 with no zucchini sticks, they stare back like he's a crazy person. BUT HES GOT A NUMBER!!! Wouldn't it occur to you to check on his order rather than just look at him? He gets tired of waiting 25 minutes for a measly side and asks the girl at the counter where his order is. Confused she replies,"your order has been sitting here a while." Ummm so if it's ready why don't you give it to him??? BUT WAIT, there's no side!! They never made it!!!! So our food sat there getting cold for 25 minutes when we could have said f**k the side and just went on our way!! Today was my First time eating at Fire Wings and it was one of the best places in Fairfield to buy Chicken Wings. I went with a group of friends and we decided to buy the 80 chicken wings for $90. You're probably thinking we're crazy,but it came with 8 different flavors,2 sides,2 fries and 2 things of vegetables. THATS A DEAL! We didnt get our food till 6:50. While waiting we could hear the employees talking about our order so we think they forgot about it. We are new to the VV-Fairfield area and we stumbled upon Fire Wings by accident. We searched for wings on the navigation and we also saw Straw Hat Pizza, Wingstop, and Buffalo Wild Wings. We originally wanted wingstop but chose Fire Wings because the wings on their website looked amazing. And let me just say, Fire Wings did not disappoint. These were all some of the best wings We've ever had. We ordered garlic parm, original Buffalo, mango habanero, and Thai chili. Their original Buffalo are hands down the best Buffalo wings Weve ever had. Mango is amazing too. All highly recommended! Excellent customer service even when it was slammed on a Friday night. We actually messed up while ordering online and they still accommodated and took care of us, which was greatly appreciated. They have many flavors and you can order the wings 'naked' (without breading) which is great if you're sensitive to gluten and there are some good healthy options as well. Prices are fair and portions are good- not some small pinner wings. $40 for 40 wings was perfect , especially for times like yesterday when My wife and I just wanted WINGS. Came here for the first time based of the great reviews and Im not impressed. First off the service was extremely slow. I would of been served faster at a sit down restaurant. I ordered the sweet and sour wings and the classic buffalo wings and I would of rather had Buffalo Wild Wings. Their sweet and sour wings were ok but didn't have a lot of flavor and in their classic buffalo sauce you could tell they added some random ingredient to try to make it different but whatever they added didn't didn't taste well. I wanted to leave a complaint about this location. I placed an order on Friday for Sunday pick up. Called the store on Friday to confirm they can accomodate my order because of Super Bowl Sunday and they told me yes but might have to wait 30 minutes. I placed my order online and paid it online. Come Sunday, came to pick up my order. I showed up 20 minutes late than pick up time. My Order was completed but wasn't even placed in line for orders to make. Staff had to look at a wall of online orders and I was told it would be an hour wait. I'm really disappointed in the communication and planning. There's so many places I could spend my money. Also my order wasn't even prioritized. It doesn't matter if you place your order ahead of time, when people wAlk in and order it pushes your order back. I like the wings , but customer service is usually bad. I ordered two sandwiches and they were burnt, cold and had no sauce on it.

Wing flavors are superb and have a great variety. Very rarely disappointed with the quality of the food. Go to flavors are always lemon pepper and stampede but the company needs to utilize a much better online ordering system. I placed an 8 piece two flavor combo online at 6:02pm for a pick up at 630 and it is now 702 and no sign of my order. Staff is working as fast as possible and still providing great customer service but something needs to be implemented so they don't get swamped by orders they can't keep up with. read more

There was a decent amount of patrons inside the restaurant but mostly everyone was waiting for takeout. With that said, there was a bit of a delay but I noticed the staff working hard to get orders out as soon as possible and were apologizing to every customer for the wait. Food was good. Bone-in wings are nice and crispy. The straight plain wings are good too. It was perfect for my little one who likes to gnaw on wings but not into flavors. Garlic parmesan has a good flavor, but extremely salty. If they toned it down a bit, it would have been so much better! I read the Korean kick was supposed to be spicy, but it was a bit mild for my Korean tastebuds. Garlic noodles are tasty. Garlic flavor is strong and lasting so make sure to have gum or mouthwash handy! The noodles don't handle well over time. It gets dried out, so try to eat this first if you can. There was also a boneless wing special that day for .60cents so I tried some. Size is pretty big and not those dinky boneless chicken sizes you'll find at other wing spots. Wing Stop chicken wing flavor os hit and miss. Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't even come up in any wing category for me. Buffalo Wild Wings wings are straight gooey and sometimes not cooked thoroughly.
