I absolutely love the wings from Fire Wings; they're always hot, crispy, and flavorful! Their tots are on the salty side and I definitely eat them in between eating their carrots for a break from the sodium, but the crisp on the outside and soft fluffiness of the potato on the inside is very satisfying. I've only ordered from Fire Wings - Natomas on Doordash and I can tell you the quality and temperature travels well! My favorite wing flavors are their bone-in BBQ, Korean Kick, and plain. Their ranch dip is really creamy and delicious as well - great with the naked/plain wings and the carrots. I love that you can just order wings if you want or you can order a meal or combo that includes sides like their fries, tots, or veggie sticks and/or a drink. When you do order their veggie sticks you have the option of choosing just carrots or just celery and there's no option to get half and half, which I wish there was. So I've been to this location a handful of times and my experience/food have been good. Upon arriving my food was just finishing up (online order). I was greeted immediately. Staff here is great, never had a bad experience. Regarding the food, I remember they use to serve large juicy chicken thigh pieces in their sandwiches and would load it up on the sauce and slaw and on my most recent visit, I've come to find out that they use chicken tenders (dry) instead, extremely skippy on the slaw (lacked flavor) and the way they sauce up the chicken was not the same, which is extremely disappointing. My order came with fries and they were cold, definitely not fresh. I must have got the leftover/extra fries that didn't get scooped up. The wings are still good. I got the salt and pepper, Buffalo, and lemon pepper. Nice and hot and crispy. I'll continue order those of course but really bummed about how they do the sandwiches. First of all, CUSTOMER SERVICE needs a lot of work! Also, the workers need a good lesson on organization and multitasking. My husband had to wait almost 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich, in which they messed up on twice! When he noticed that 1) he was waiting what felt like forever, 2) the two parties that paid after him got their food before him- he knew something was up. They brought out the wrong sandwich and then we had to wait again. All in all, if you are coming to a business ran by teenagers, that's the type of service you're going to get - they don't care. They have a great, crispy batter to them and the flavor was there! The fries were just okay. The original chicken sammie had a similar- yet more crispy batter which was good. Tried for the first time. These aren't your average chicken strips, they were colossal! I had my strips made into the Garlic Parmesan type. They were a little salty but very moist, tender and best of all succulent! There was supposed to be a tipping sauce with them which was forgotten. In addition to strips, they have all kinds of flavors of wings which, you can order with or without bone. You can order and come pick up. Not sure if they do delivery. When you order, they want your phone # which I don't like to give out, especially if I'm there waiting for my food. I love the fact that you can just order online from a phone and pick it up as quickly as 20 minutes. I pretty much always order this way and it has worked out every time. Fire Wings is a great place to get flavorful wings. There are a ton of flavors to get - many of which are Asian based. You can find flavors like dragon, curry, and Korean. Though I think this is cool, these flavors are not my favorite. My two go-to flavors are mango habanero and Louisiana rub. If I'm looking for something else I may choose their standard BBQ or lemon pepper. These are the flavors I love. I'm a huge fan of most places standard buffalo sauce, but to me Fire Wings needs to tweak their recipe. There's just something not quite on point with it. That's just my opinion though. I order take-out from here often and it is always pleasant! They have never gotten my order wrong, chicken seasoned well and very flavorful. Fries quality really depends on the day, but the seasoning flavor is always there (really it's just texture that differs). It never takes exceptionally long to prepare and be delivered either. I've been a long time customer ever since they opened their first location in Sacramento on Center Parkway. When they were up and coming, it was my boyfriend and I's comfort food spot and we'd go almost every week lol. This review is mostly for takeout. We usually order online and have no issues with pick up. We usually get the 20 pack wings with fries. We substitute for garlic fries for extra charge. The fries are hit or miss with the quantity and amount of garlic they season it with. This time it was acceptable. Some of my favorite flavors in my rotation are the Louisiana Rub, Saigon Street, Dragon, Korean Kick, and Peanut Butter (think of a Thai satay flavor, tastes better than it sounds!). I gravitate towards a lot of these flavors because of the unique Asian twist and you can't quite find them elsewhere. They marinate the wings well and I'm consistently satisfied with how they turn out. They have other common flavors you can find at other wing joints, but I never bother with them for that same reason. If I'm craving wings, this will always be my first choice in Sacramento. read more
