Y'all disappointed a lot of folks on Super Bowl Sunday! Placed an order online for 100 wings (lemon pepper, cali rub, buffalo and Cajun). Was sent a text message that the order was ready and we could head to pick up. My husband made it to pick up, bit was told the order wasn't ready yet (so why did you tell us to pick up?). Anyway, after waiting another 40 mins (he misses the whole 1st half of the game), he finally makes it back by the halftime show; all the wings were TRASH! None of them had any flavor! Y'all even had the nerve to separate them like they were all different! We got tiny, barely seasoned wings that we had to wait for an hour past our pick up time. Unacceptable! If you take $127 from a customer, please give them what they ordered. I understand it was probably busy and hectic, but my gosh at least cook and season them properly. Fire Wings, how I have missed thee! I used to work in the area and would come to this location quite often. I haven't been here in a while, but their food and service are as good as I remembered. We got 40 bone in wings: 10 lemon pepper, 10 Korean kick, 10 original buffalo, and 10 Thai chili. For sides we got garlic noodles, seasoned fries and veggie sticks. We also got two beers and the whole thing was about $53 before tip. That seemed like a reasonable price for a meal for 4 people. The wings and sides arrived shortly thereafter and we dug in. After the first few bites, I was wondering why I don't come to Fire Wings more often. It was all my wing dreams come true in 4 different flavors. By far, my favorite of the bunch was the lemon pepper with the garlic noodles. I could not have enough of either one and both together was magical! The original buffalo with the veggie sticks was devoured next. My friend commented on how veggie sticks at wing places are so much better than anything you could make at home or from non-wing restaurants. If anyone knows the secret, please let us in on it. I can't remember the name of the beer I got on tap, but it was a mango pale ale. The sweetness of the beer along with the spicy savoriness of the wings was everything I wanted and then some. I thought we'd have left overs, but I just didn'tt have enough faith in our group. There wasn't even a noodle left once we devoured everything. Never eaten here before but we ended up here on a bike ride to the nearby park and decided to try it out. Ordered two boneless wings 10-piece, Peking and parmesan garlic. Basically, large, lightly breaded chunks of white meat. We liked the Peking, which was a light sweet and sour flavor. However, we did not like the garlic parmesan. The chicken was drowning in a heavy butter garlic sauce which was more oily than buttery. It was pooling in the little paper tray. The breading was very mushy because of this. We found it inedible. Note: this flavor is advertised as a "rub" not a sauce. I returned it and was told they could not do anything about it because they have a no refund or redo policy and pointed to a small partially hidden sign. When I ordered, I said we had never eaten there before and asked questions about the menu. The cashier never mentioned the availability of samples or the notice. Also, my daughter asked for additional forks and was rudely told they didn't have any more, which was not true. So I ordered food online around 8:30, order went through, and I started to drive to the store to get my diner. I don't normally order at this fire wings but it's a little closer to my house so I figured I'd give it another go. I get a text "your order is ready" after 7 min and when I get to the store they tell me that my order was just pushed through and not made because it was after their time the honored online orders. So they hadn't made my food at all and told me a manager would be up to refund my order. Let me say this again. They let me drive all the way there just to tell me my food wasn't going to be made. They didn't even offer to make the order then, didn't offer any kind of remorse or even an apology. I honestly just started at them as this manager came out and gave me a week excuse and shrugged pretty much saying that's just how it is at this time of night. I've never had such horrible service and encountered a staff who just didn't care. I will never be going back to this location and I'm pretty sure I'll never eat at a fire wings again since this is semi consistent level of service. The mid town one at least had staff that engages you. I don't know what else to say, save your money, go somewhere else? I've been seeing fellow yelpers Scott D. and May A. post pics from this location and for some reason I thought that the chicken looked better here compared to their other locations, so I drove 30 mins to this location just to see if it was true! This location was super lit on a Saturday night with tons of patrons dining inside. The man at the register was Aldric (sp?) and he was super friendly and helpful! Props to him because from that moment, It was already proven to me that the customer service was better compared to the Sheldon location. I asked for the wings to be made extra crispy and they did just that. I had a 30 minute car ride back home and the food still tasted fresh and stayed extra crispy! I came back just a few days later after the kings game and the service from Jocelyn and Jesse were very consistent and top notch! Here I am, eating at all the different fire wings and comparing them. I ate here on a thursday evening, and it was packed. Shows you how delicious these wings are. I ordered the boneless 8 wing combo with buffalo & lemon pepper and hunted for a table. I felt like i was forgotten for awhile, since I ended up in the table furthest down the hallway, but was able to relocate after people recieved their orders. All of the wings tasted good. It was cooked just right! My favorite was the Cali rub, a hint of sweetness and a little tang. I love it! Service was great after we've called in several times to place our order and there was no answer on the phone! So, my husband decided to go in just before 5pm and was told they close early for New Year'e eve. They have more flavors i do wanna try like the SRIRCHA flavor. If you love heat they have a good amount of varites to try out. And even if you dont like heat, they got you covered there as well, and the dips look like they make in house too. Ranch was really good as a yelp friend says it is not that hidden kind, they make it in front of you and cup it up for your orders. For drinks they do have options both alcohol (beer) a few on tap and bottled varieties and they have the new Pepsi touch screen soda machine. 5 stars is my verdict. Wings were cooked perfect. We went with 3 kinds. 2 with flavor which hit the spot. And the 3rd was plain and naked. Just wanna see what they look like in the light. Wanted to try this new Wing place. They were BUSY! My first reaction was WOW where can I sjt as all the tables were occupied. So I decided to make my order TO GO. However, as I was waiting for my order, what were occupied tables quickly became vacant. Thats because the ToGo folks were sitting at the tables. This takes away from those who want to dine-in. I did mention this to one of the workers...see if situation changes next time Lunch hour: the cooks were hopping! They can only cook wings to order. So if you dont have time to wait....come back outside of peak time. Watching the cooks in the back and they are all on point. No confusion whatsoever. I ordered the 6 piece combo w garlic noodles. Garlic Noodles: WOW...what GREAT flavor. Not overbearing with garlic...noodles cooked just right not mushy at all. Even on a To-Go order. Yikes...I am in trouble now. I tried my first ever chicken wings from FireWings and let me tell you...they were delicious. The best wings I ever had. The super crisp coating won me over. I tried the 10 piece bone in wings $8.69, 2 flavors. I had garlic Parmesan and original buffalo. The wings had a crisp light fried exterior, it had a nice subtle crunch. Moist interior. The interior was cooked thoroughly without being dry. The buffalo wings were tossed in the sauce. It was coated but not drenched. The garlic parm had a light garlic taste and generous dusting of parm. I also ordered a small order of garlic noodles $3.69. They were buttery egg noodles with a strong garlic flavor. I enjoyed the first several bites, but became overwhelmed by the garlic. I think I was on garlic overload from the wings and noodles. Next time I'll pace out my garlic intake. However, I have to say my service was a bit rough and not ideal after a long day at work. I felt like I was in a groundhog day deja vu loop. The cashier had me repeat my order 3 times. She was very sweet and I felt she was trying her best. She initially rang up my order as a combo- 10 piece with fries and a drink. But wait, I ordered a 10 piece and small garlic noodles. Fire Wings is a blessing and a curse! My little family and I have had it TWO days in a row now. As a working mom with a pre-toddler (baby is about 1 years old now) it's hard to get dinner on the table. And let's face it. I've kinda given up on cooking since becoming a first time mama. I'm so happy a Fire Wings opened up in Natomas!!!!! It was a super smart move to open one in the Natomas complex with Quickly, Natomas donuts, Panera bread, rite aid, etc!! Natomas is growing!!! Today was the grand opening and we went right at dinner time which was around 6-6:30.... and BAM.... a line out the door... which I wasn't surprised but I was hungry and ready to eat.... plus is was over 100 degrees.... Parking is not an issue yelp homies..... plenty of spaces! This location isn't as big as the one in Elk Grove but it's still a decent size and it's gonna be a very popular here in Natomas!!! The food today was pretty good but I did mark off 1 star.... first off, the wings.... there are so many choices of wings flavor.... from dry rubs to sauces, to the originals! Also, since being the grand opening, all Combos were 50 percent off which is a GREAT DEAL! We ordered 2 combos which included 10 wings (2 flavors split 5 wings), fries and a beverage! The first combo, we ordered the fire flavor and Louisiana dry rub! The fire flavor is very spicy so I avoided that! The Louisiana rub was very tasty... had spice, yet a little sweet.... the season fries were pretty good. The second combo we had the garlic Parmesan and the cali dry rub! The garlic Parmesan was excellent.... maybe one of the best ones I ever tried... so cheesy and garlic was popping.... I feel it's a must try! Alright first of all, I disliked this place at first but someone taught me how to do this place right. You like traditional wings, right? So this is the secret to doing it best (in my opinion)! HOLD THE BREADING. Ask for them wangs naked and it's a game changer! This place normally breads their wings in a heavy coat and puts the sauce/seasoning on top of that. The result? You're full in ~6 wings and it's not even the satiated kind of full. It's more of like "what the heck did I eat?" kind of full. I used to feel like I couldn't even enjoy the chicken meat smothered in their delicious sauce because the breading was such a *chicken emoji* block. Yknow? Anyways, my top flavors are Fire, Buffalo Stampede, and Peanut Butter! These are 'spicy' flavors, but everyone says not to ask me if anything is spicy because obviously I don't have a sense of spicy... which isn't good if you're "spicy-testing" for your baby nephew.......... Now you're probably too lazy to read this review AND my old one so let me just make a few pointers. This time I tried the Salt and Pepper/Garlic Parmesan flavors again as well as the fries. I got to say, HUGE IMPROVEMENT! Key things from last time: not enough garlic in the garlic parmesan and a large amount of oil left on the bottom of our tray which made the bottom pieces soggy and the fries were undercooked. This time: a bit more even in the garlic parmesan flavoring but mainly a significantly lowered amount of oil in the bottom of our tray! I even asked the cashier to put ice and water in a cup for me if she didn't trust me and thought I was going to steal soda. I've had this place on my list of restaurants to try for a while now. Fire Wing is located in the Natomas Town Center Plaza. It's been about a little over a month since I was on this side of the plaza as I mainly come here to go to Safeway and to get gas. The last time I was here, they weren't even open yet as they were still in the works of construction. Good to see there's a place to get wings close to home now. I got here around 7:50pm last night with the bf and just beat the rush! You would think that this place would be slow and quiet because it wasn't even prime time dinner time. Nope! The whole time I was here, it was pretty busy. The cashier here was so friendly and had a fantastic personality. She really made it seem like she enjoys working here. Customer service is a big deal to me and Mai did a fantastic job. I told her it was my first time visiting and she explained to me how things worked. I was stuck on a couple of flavors and Mai clarified for me that the Jamaican Jerk is more of a sweet flavor with a little bit of heat. I ended up ordering the 20 piece family pack to share with the bf. We chose all bone in. You have the option to choose bone in, boneless, or half and half. You can choose three flavors and two dips. The flavors chosen were lemon pepper, Louisiana, and Jamaican jerk. All three flavors I chose were a dry rub. We got ranch and sriracha mayo. It comes with large fries and veggie sticks but I opted to sub the fries for garlic noodles for an additional $1.50. They have a Pepsi freestyle machine here for if you order fountain drinks! I've never used one before and it looked very interesting. I stuck with my usual water. They have small, clear white cups (like the ones you get at In N Out when you ask for water) on the side of the counter as well as a water dispenser. Sadly, if you order water it isn't a part of the Pepsi freestyle machine. After I placed my order, Mai handed me a number and we looked for a table. There isn't too much seating here. About two tables of four, two tables of two, a community seating area that seats 8 (high top bar style), and two tables seating 6. Since we beat the rush, there were still a few tables empty. I can see that during busy times here that seating can sometimes be a challenge. Our food came quickly and we dug in! These wings were nice and crispy. You'd be surprised at how many times I've been to wingstop and got wings that were overcooked and dry. These wings here also had a lot of meat! Contrary again to wingstop where I always seem to receive wings from anorexic chickens. My favorite from top to bottom were lemon pepper, Louisiana, and Jamaican jerk. Garlic noodles were also very good. Coming from San Francisco, this place has garlic noodles that come very very close to the places that serve garlic noodles back home. That's saying something because the food here in Sac always seems to fall short of the delicious food of the Bay Area in general, not just San Francisco. Not here! Not with the garlic noodles anyway. Def recommend for you to try it and the portion was huge. Overall it was a very good experience. The place was clean and service was wonderful. I'll definitely be back to try some other flavors. Love going here on 60¢ boneless wings night on Mondays and Tuesdays. There are so many flavors to choose from. The only difficult thing with coming to this place is choosing which flavors to try. My current favs are the Korean kick and Thai Chili. Also noteable is the Jamaican jerk. I know they offer dips and sauces to accompany the wings, but with all the flavor in these things, I think it's best to forgo the dips. So we waited an additional 30 minutes, was not notified it was done, despite being told otherwise. They also forgotten a side, which we had to wait even longer for. I placed and paid my order online. 15 mins later got a call from the restaurant to inform me that they closed at 5:00pm today and they forgot to turn off their online ordering. The shift lead said she couldn't refund me the money today and I have to physically go into the restaurant next day for the refund!? She said she will make a note of my concern for the manager to call me tomorrow. I don't understand how they can charged me for the food I didn't get and makes it difficult and inconvenient for customer to get money back? I even got a text message that said that my order is ready for pick up when in fact they're closed. Lemon pepper wings are sooooooo good from here. I have no words this is the only place I order wings from now. Crispy, lots of flavor, always hot, and cooked to perfection. I don't really try any other flavors but If you are a lemon pepper fan then for sure give this place a shot. read more

Customer service is not the best. We were missing half of our order then it took them 40 min to make it by then the other food was cold. We tried Fire Wings once and didn't care for them. I always give restaurants a second try before I make a final judgment. Last night we ordered wings, chili cheese tots, fire fries and garlic noodles. You can tell their wings are cooked frozen. They're super small, dry and overcooked. (We've been spoiled with Kiki's - never frozen, always cooked fresh wings.) I guess once you have wings that are cooked fresh, you can never go back. The fire fries were so spicy, I had to throw them away -- and that's saying a lot from me because I love foods so spicy they make me sweat. But whatever spice they use on their fries made my internal organs hurt. Anyways, the chili cheese tots were okay, nothing special about them. I think the only thing this place is good for is their garlic noodles. If you're looking for some good wings, go elsewhere. read more

Save yourself the time & sanity of coming here. Before the pandemic this was definitely a go-to spot! Maybe some of the small businesses that shut down should re open and close garbage like this! My husband CALLED and ordered ahead and was told 15-20 minutes. I even got a text telling us the order was ready. When he showed up the cashier was completely rude. People were cutting my husband & she let the white people in but yelled at my husband to go outside. When he could finally come inside, the woman asked his name 15 times & then proceeded to say the order was never taken and he was in fact not in the system. Wasted our time. And I called the location 5 TIMES to complain and no one answered! Save your time! Save your money! The fire wings on Howe is so much better and the staff is so friendly! read more

This place is great! Best garlic noodles and the service is incredible. Nicest employees work her. Wife loves their salt and pepper wings. Kids love just the basic wings. My some can put down 10+ wings in one sitting and he's only 8. Oh and also they have booze! Highly recommend! read more
