    Beef and Broccoli

Fire Wok in North Pole is now also open for lunch! My first time here in many years! Little hidden gem, I will be back! You should try it too! Beef and broccoli was delicious! Hubby had the General's Chicken.

Fire Wok is the superior chinese cuisine in North Pole My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The owners are very sweet and were very acute to our needs. The decor was simple but you felt comfortable sitting in to have a meal. Even though they don't pre-make anything the service was pretty fast. Lunch specials are under 10 dollars and come with white/fried rice, a spring roll, and a drink. I had the General Tso's chicken and she had the sesame chicken. Finally some good chinese food in North Pole. My Tso's chicken was fresh with good flavor and her sesame chicken had a hint of sweetness and was delicious. We will be coming back to try them at dinner. After tasting the fresh and never prepackaged food at Fire Wok you will never see me at Pagodas again. I mentioned to the owner that I hated Pagoda's and questioned why people saw them as "the best chinese food around." he guessed that people went back there only because they felt comfortable with Pagoda's style and are convinced to go there by some of it's fans. I agreed. Seriously try the two restaurants and see which one you prefer. I know you will be coming back to these guys

If you're looking for great Chinese food, this place is amazing! The food was made fresh, taste was on point with every dish we ordered. There was nothing too overwhelming. The service was quick and Louise (I think that's how you spell her name) is extremely pleasant! From start to finish. We will definitely come back to eat here again. Thank you Louise! And thank you to the chef for such deliciousness...

    General's Chicken

first off, note these are 4 alaska stars. It's good chinese compared to what we've tried in AK. If you want take out, this is where I would go in NP. --Fresher than most take out Chinese, very lightly battered, good quality white breast meat for General's Chicken --no heavy nauseated post take out feeling after the meal --curry lo mein was a nice surprising change of flavor from reg lo mein --fried rice not recommended -- cinnamon apple appetizer AMAZING and highly recommended ( as dessert) We'll be back here for take out, would still go to the other restaurant in NP for sit in.

Super expensive & not worth it. The sesame chicken tasted as if it was fried in dirty oil.

I can say I come at least once a week that's how good the food is. They're open 7 days a week and have the best customer service I've seen by far in Fairbanks. If you ever find yourself here or haven't tried them yet YOU MUST. I highly recommend their Duck Rice Bowl & their Beef Brisket rice bowl. They're my go to meals when I don't know what I'd like to try. 10/10 I love Aurora and I'm always so happy going in and leaving the restaurant.

We ended up ordering beef noodle soup and the duck crepe, which both were surprisingly better than I expected. However, my only issue with the dishes were the veggies used, which was far from any Asian veggies since they used raw lettuce and it was very undercooked and had a slight bitterness that somewhat ruined the dishes for me. In a way I think the dishes might have tasted better without it although I appreciate the effort to add in some veggies. For the beef noodle soup, the broth and the meat was good and the egg noodle went well with it. My friend ordered the ramen version, and it was literally instant ramen noodles (not worth in my opinion). While you're able to dine in they operate more like a take out spot as all the utensils and boxes are using take out and disposable containers. Overall, not a bad spot if you're craving some Asian food.

Really wide variety of Asian dishes. Impressed but also dubious about whether they can pull off all of them. Everything we had was pretty good though! Since the name and decoration is Chinese, we stuck mostly to those dishes. I got twice cooked pork which was spicy and delicious! Liked all the vegetables too. Dad got Singapore style rice noodles which were solid. Mom got the Alaskan King crab with ginger and scallions and that was the biggest standout. Such great flavor and cooked perfectly. Much more decadent than just butter and lemon. Brother got strawberry chicken which was interesting. Crispy like orange chicken but with strawberries and sauce on it. Fine, but definitely a one and done. He also got a dragon roll which was ok. I think the rice was a bit dry. Our server Chris was really nice and he advised us to get the ginger and scallion sauce rather than another we considered because he said that one was dry. Glad he kept us from making a bad choice!

Food was just missing that little something that would make it truly elite. I will give credit to the Mango Sticky Rice though, that was great. Staff here were really friendly. Took care of our orders quickly because we got here right before the kitchen was about to close. Also filled our water quite a bit. Lemon Grass is still pretty good, glad I tried it.

They wanted to ensure I got exactly what I expected/wanted because every restaurant has a different spin on the classics. The lady informed me that she had no prior orders from me so she wanted to make sure I ordered correctly, then immediately corrected my mistake when I confirmed that I did indeed mean the lo mien. That alone shows the exquisite customer service they offer, but if that's not enough... THE FOOD!!! It was absolutely incredible, everything was cooked, sauced, & seasoned to absolute perfection. It genuinely hit all the right spots & I had to practice self control not to gorge myself. It is truly phenomenal, not to mention it was ready insanely fast!! We placed the order, immediately left our house, & by the time we got there it was ready! It was also MASSIVE portions with an extremely fair price. Lastly, they even included a free box of sugared donuts with our meal as a thank you for ordering from them. This is the kind of food, service, & atmosphere you want in a restaurant. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Panda Garden & I cannot wait to order from them again. They truly have delightful, thoughtful, kind staff & amazing food to follow!!

I'm sorry but it tastes like the frozen egg rolls you buy at a supermarket market. My kid and husband both spit it out. The Mongolia beef was good, but there were way more vegetables than meat. The General Tso Chicken, was just okay. It wasn't to my spice preference but it was cooked good. The fried rice was also just okay. Overall I wouldn't put Panda Garden on my list of go to places if I'm looking for a meal to make me happy dance while eating.
