    Teriyaki Bowl

I met 2 new friends for lunch last Friday. Since we were going to the Regal Huebner Oaks movie theater to watch "Chosen," I suggested either @salata or @firewok. My friend, Ana, was good with @firewok. It's a simple Asian/Chinese restaurant where you order at the counter, take a number, and they serve food at your table. I ordered the Lemon Fish, which was tasty and just the right amount of food. Ana had the Teriyaki Bowl and Julie had the General Tso's dish. We all were happy with the proteins. The rice was slightly undercooked. Overall, a good experience!

A special order, the lettuce wraps as healthy as they could make it with just a little sauce love this place

I love this place because even though I am trying to eat healthy, they are so kind and willing to adjust their sauces to just the right amount for me. I've been coming here for over 10 years and I love the management. They are sweet as can be, they really care about their business and I love the food. It is so so so good.

Great lunch spot! I've been here a couple times - once with coworkers and most recently with my boyfriend, both times for lunch during the week. There is a decent amount of space, and they're quick to get tables clean during the lunch rush. It's a good space, not too crowded, really casual. The levers on the soda machine were broken for a couple of the drink options. I've had the chow fun, pad Thai, and spring rolls, and what I will say is that while the food is great seasoning wise, the trend I've noticed is that the noodles feel a little undercooked for my taste - not hard, but definitely not the soft super cooked texture I would prefer. I think it might just be cranking the food out for speed. However, nothing egregious - good lunch, and I will definitely be around more often!

This was the lo mein noodle with the hair.

This evening my family member received his lo mein meal per usual , however this time he was left with several hair strands tangled around his lo mein. When asked why this occurred the respondent did not know what a hair net was after we told him what had happened. I ask that all who patronize this establishment please be aware of the unsanitary practices in this establishment.

Lo que más me gustó fue el servicio. Las personas que nos atendieron nos trataron muy bien y eso es un plus. El ambiente del lugar es tranquilo, apenas para un lunch break.

I paid less than $10 for the chicken pad Thai. I didn't think the flavor was anything exceptional. But the portion size was HUGE. I was able to make a second meal from it. If you don't eat a lot in one sitting I'm sure you could make 3 meals from this portion. The service was standard. You order at the register. I like that there is seating inside and outside !

I'm giving it 3 stars. Had the Mongolian beef with steamed rice. The flavor was not bad except for the beef which had an old taste to it.

We loved it! Wish the kids menu was a little more extensive. Pad Thai was great and huge portion! Glad we found this place!

Lunch specials are always a good deal. It is sometimes hard to find a spot to sit. Hot oil is available if you ask

Alas, was really craving some 蔥油餅, and this was the only place that offered delivery with them! I am sad to report that @ the very premium price of $5 for a single pancake, it would have been a far more worthwhile choice to take an Uber to the Asian grocery store to buy an entire package of 8 to 10 frozen ones for practically the same price! Same goes for pretty much everything else. Buying the frozen versions would have been not only me expensive, but the tasteful pleasure would have been on par if not better. Bibigo, I Mei, Wei Chan are a few recommended frozen food companies that would serve you better! Taste profile for all items were mediocre at best. $6 Takoyoki Balls were probably the best, but even then, I have had far better for less dinero. The supposedly main course sized Donburi Gyudon was nowhere with the price, but it was at least pretty good. The 75 percent rice was good but obviously more meat would have been nice for $12. Not to be boringly dissimilar in my assessment, but the soups also are not recommended when they are so pricey. TLDR, eat here expecting average but overpriced food. When you consider value, this place is highly recommended- to avoid!

It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Only had to wait 5 mins. Don't let the full restaurant fool you. The wait staff checks in often and moves tables very fast. Pro tip- you can hang outside and check out the koi fish in the pond to kill some time Sat down and drinks came out fast ordered dim sum which came out in the cute steam baskets first. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. It was very bland. Next time I want to order the orange peel chicken instead. Looked good and now we know! So much food we'll have leftovers for a few days. Score!
