This supposedly has extra cheese on it and extra basil.

Had a pick up at 8:30pm and when I got there I told them the name and they brought a pizza out and asked if it was mine and said we have a lot of pizzas. The pizza seemed like it had been sitting out for a while and was very dry. I won't be going back to this location again.

I loathe giving poor reviews, but I am disappointed with Fired Pie and the SLICE app. It was my first time ordering from the app, and they canceled my order after I showed up at Fired Pie Pizza. I placed my order at 3:00 for a 4:00pm pick up and drove to the restaurant, only to discover that they had canceled my order because they couldn't get in touch with the restaurant. When I called SLICES customer service, they confirmed they could not reach the restaurant, and gave some lame excuse that Fired Pie couldn't fulfill my order. Additionally, the employee at Fired Up Pizza turned off the SLICES app at 3:36pm because she claim they were too busy, even though there were only two people in line. I mean they had a full hour to fulfill my order! What a disappointment! I'm all about supporting local businesses, but to have my first order canceled like this is frustrating. To make matters worse, the time stamped text was at 4:04pm. The other employee was apologetic, but I wasted so much time driving all the way over here just to have them cancel my order. I've since deleted the app since it's worthless and just taking up space in my phone. What a shame! The app is supposed to empower smaller businesses, so they can compete with big chains. However, certain employees turns off the app. Maybe management and the SLICE app should look into this because it makes them appear unreliable.

Had a Fired Pie craving and stopped here tonight. I got my usual custom pie and a custom bbq chicken pepperoni pizza. The staff were really friendly, the ingredients were being restocked while we ordered, and the taste was great. I used to go to another location and I feel like I found my preferred location winds then taste and service was the best so far. I highly recommend this location.

A1 service. I'm not sure who the person was making the pizzas but I was welcomed in even though she was busy making pizza and she said she would be right with me. She was hustling and was so sweet. Hands down service alone would bring me back to this location. I wish I would have gotten a name because she deserves a raise and some recognition! If management is reading this, she was wearing glasses and had short hair.

    Cross contamination!!!

No no no!!! Cross contamination!!! The customer before me asked for pesto/red sauce the employee used the same scoop for both pesto and red!! I asked if they have more red sauce in the back and they told me they do but can not bring it out. It's normal for them to use one scoop all the time. I told them pesto has peanuts. The supervisor came over and said "we just make their pizza on the other counter we do not use separate utensils." For folks with peanut allergies... who does that!!! Last year my son ended up in the ER because of pesto

Spinach, garlic, feta, jalapeño & chicken ordered... WHERE is the garlic, feta & chicken?!? NONE!

Round 2. Because this is one of the small handful who offer cauliflower crust. I'm not entirely convinced, still. They're still better than MOD because they charge about the same price for a pizza twice the size. But, ingredients & quality is still lacking. This was better than last round, not really a 4 star, more a 3.5 but we don't get the luxury of half ratings. I currently have dietary restrictions so I was looking for somewhere I could get a decent, good cauliflower crust pizza & side salad. This seemed to be the best option based on reviews. I was surprised, the crust tasted just like a traditional thin crust. No hint of cauliflower/vegetable whatsoever... but that also raised some concerns. Because I've made my own & tried some other cauliflower crusts- I'm pretty sure this included other ingredients or fillers. A traditional cauliflower crust is going to have a more grainy texture & some additional moisture. This was more dry, chewy & tasted like it totally had some sort of an alternative "flour" base. I can tell the difference. But, since they won't list all their ingredients, we don't know for sure. The toppings were okay. A bit sparse for some & others were carelessly piled near the center. That is my pet peeve. It's not hard to evenly spread them. 3 toppings & we can't spread them more than throwing a handful in the center? Seriously aggravating when the pizza cost $14 after taxes but you have to rearrange it upon arrival. The "lil" salad was larger than anticipated. Honestly not bad for the price- you get to pick your base & 3 toppings, plus the dressing. I appreciate the dressing was on the side so it didn't sog. It was what I expected for a basic, 3 ingredient salad. ...but apparently "mixed greens" means only iceberg lettuce. The toppings weren't sparse but kind of dumb being limited to 3- enough to suffice for the price. Just seems like they're cutting corners where they can. Overall this was a better experience than the prior. Delivery was no issue & arrived timely & fresh. Just not sure of the transparency with the cauliflower crust & the quality definitely has room for improvement.

My hubby's choice, pepperoni, sausage and red onion.

We haven't been here since just before the world turned upside down and had a gift card from last Christmas. It was refreshing to be able to create my own pizza again. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and they were all very friendly. The dough was pressed as we arrived at the counter, and our choices were added as we requested them. If you want a little more, just ask. They can accommodate most requests. I have never tried the salad options here, however, the menu descriptions look really inviting. This just means I will have to go back! As the pizzas go in to the open brick oven, you are offered drinks and your food is rung up. We like this place because they also offer beer and wine by the bottle. Thankfully they still offer dining inside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our pizzas were brought out to us just a few minutes after we sat down. I really appreciate how they leave to go boxes out by the drink station, so you don't have to wait on anyone to bring it to you. This is a very family friendly place, we brought our sons here when they first opened. I can highly recommend this place, especially if you are craving certain toppings that your partner isn't fond of!

Their salads might even be better than their pizza! Yum!

I'm a pizzaterian --- You know, when you only eat pizza! ;D I love Fired Pie but this location, eh, not so much. The service here is insanely slow. It's so slow that I had time to write about it while waiting for my food! Prior to Fired Pie being here, there was another build-your-own pizza spot occupying the same building. They didn't last very long and I wonder if it's because there's something wrong with the kitchen. Fired Pie usually runs like a well-oiled machine but even this location was lagging. Oh well. If you're not in a rush, Fired Pie still makes some of the tastiest pies around and let's not forget about their salad! Everything is custom so if you don't like it, it's your fault! ;P

It's a seat yourself joint. Focusing seating around the focal point, the big bar area. Atmosphere is pleasant, spacious and welcoming! Decent selection of food options. Huge draft, craft beer selection. The staff is friendly & offers just the right amount of attention. You won't wait long to be welcomed, for your food, for a refill or for your receipt at the end of your dining experience. We started with their honey hot wings. Our party of three decided to split one of the numerous salads they offer & went with the steak & walnut salad. It includes grilled steak slices, blue cheese crumbles & crispy onion rings ( made in house) . The dressing was a light vinaigrette that made this a delicious & delightful thing to share amongst us all. For dinner we went with one of their "create your own" pizzas. Our favorite toppings are: pepperoni, garlic & basil. This was a great presentation & pie! From service to staff, to cooks in the kitchen we had a great dining experience! Everything was legit. We will be back to try a burger next time. This is a really cool place with a wide selection of outstanding food & bar beverage options. Highly recommend it.

Despite this, there was only one person working -- a server who was also acting as the bartender -- trying to handle everything. At one point, a woman came in to pick up a to-go order and stood waiting for quite a while. When the server finally got to her, she joked, "Are you the server, bartender, and cook?" His response: "I just don't cook." Her food still wasn't ready, so she had to keep waiting. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa, which cost $9.55 but was only about three-quarters full in the wine glass. Why serve it like that? It just felt skimpy. After finishing my drink, I sat for another 10 minutes waiting to close out my tab. This was actually my second visit. We came once before for dinner with friends since we all live in Mesa and thought the concept was cool and close to home. Unfortunately, the service then was just as bad, even with more staff on shift. I had hoped stopping in for a quick drink would be a better experience -- but sadly, it wasn't. I won't be back. It's a shame because the place has potential, but management really needs to take staffing seriously.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one.
