I've visited this and other locations many times. The pizzas are consistent from location to location. They have multiple options for crusts, cheeses, toppings and they will give extra when asked. You pretty much add what ever you want. They offer two gluten-free crusts: cauliflower and regular gluten-free. I really like both but I prefer the cauliflower. It is definitely better than most other places I've tried it at. The price is reasonable especially since you can get all you want on top. No extra cost! Staff is helpful and friendly. We were excited to visit this place as it's been on our list for a while! The location is right on the corner next to Starbucks so it's super accessible which is nice. After choosing our pizzas we were told that they didn't have any chopped basil or chunky tomato sauce for the Margherita pizza but that was ok. Maybe they could have chopped it up though as it seemed like there were no other customers and they weren't busy at all. We then proceeded to try to use a gift card and the machine didn't work. The girls helping were extremely rude about the entire situation and though one did call the manager to see about the gift card (much appreciated) , they didn't try to manually input it and weren't friendly about the situation at all. The entire store was very unclean. There's food all over the floor in the back, so maybe having it cleaned up a little more would help with the restaurants ambiance. The food itself was alright. It's a thin crust pizza so if that is the type of crust you normally go for then it's not bad! I loathe giving poor reviews, but I am disappointed with Fired Pie and the SLICE app. It was my first time ordering from the app, and they canceled my order after I showed up at Fired Pie Pizza. I placed my order at 3:00 for a 4:00pm pick up and drove to the restaurant, only to discover that they had canceled my order because they couldn't get in touch with the restaurant. When I called SLICES customer service, they confirmed they could not reach the restaurant, and gave some lame excuse that Fired Pie couldn't fulfill my order. Additionally, the employee at Fired Up Pizza turned off the SLICES app at 3:36pm because she claim they were too busy, even though there were only two people in line. I mean they had a full hour to fulfill my order! What a disappointment! I'm all about supporting local businesses, but to have my first order canceled like this is frustrating. To make matters worse, the time stamped text was at 4:04pm. The other employee was apologetic, but I wasted so much time driving all the way over here just to have them cancel my order. I've since deleted the app since it's worthless and just taking up space in my phone. What a shame! The app is supposed to empower smaller businesses, so they can compete with big chains. However, certain employees turns off the app. Maybe management and the SLICE app should look into this because it makes them appear unreliable. read more

Uhhh what happened to this location? Stopped by last night to get two pizzas to go and it was a weirdly unpleasant experience. Walked in and there were two customers ahead of us who were already paying. The employee just stood there and watched us without an acknowledgment. It's almost as if he was challenging us to a staring contest... I finally said hello and got no response. He asked us what we were getting and so we ordered. The toppings were thrown on, and we watched as he was literally counting how many he was putting on top. The employee next to him had no gloves on and was on his phone the whole time. Paying was awkward and we got more of the silent treatment from the worker who was on his cell phone while he was checking us out... We sat at a high top table to wait for our food. Didn't wait too long and the employee brought it out to us, with his cell phone still in hand. The inside looks very musty and dirty. The tables need help or a miracle. The one we sat at was VERY wobbly. Upset that this location has gone downhill. I was able to attend the grand opening and it was very nice!!.. No no no!!! Cross contamination!!! The customer before me asked for pesto/red sauce the employee used the same scoop for both pesto and red!! I asked if they have more red sauce in the back and they told me they do but can not bring it out. It's normal for them to use one scoop all the time. I told them pesto has peanuts. Round 2. Because this is one of the small handful who offer cauliflower crust. I'm not entirely convinced, still. They're still better than MOD because they charge about the same price for a pizza twice the size. But, ingredients & quality is still lacking. This was better than last round, not really a 4 star, more a 3.5 but we don't get the luxury of half ratings. I currently have dietary restrictions so I was looking for somewhere I could get a decent, good cauliflower crust pizza & side salad. This seemed to be the best option based on reviews. I was surprised, the crust tasted just like a traditional thin crust. No hint of cauliflower/vegetable whatsoever... but that also raised some concerns. Because I've made my own & tried some other cauliflower crusts- I'm pretty sure this included other ingredients or fillers. A traditional cauliflower crust is going to have a more grainy texture & some additional moisture. This was more dry, chewy & tasted like it totally had some sort of an alternative "flour" base. I can tell the difference. But, since they won't list all their ingredients, we don't know for sure. The toppings were okay. A bit sparse for some & others were carelessly piled near the center. That is my pet peeve. It's not hard to evenly spread them. 3 toppings & we can't spread them more than throwing a handful in the center? Seriously aggravating when the pizza cost $14 after taxes but you have to rearrange it upon arrival. The "lil" salad was larger than anticipated. Honestly not bad for the price- you get to pick your base & 3 toppings, plus the dressing. I appreciate the dressing was on the side so it didn't sog. It was what I expected for a basic, 3 ingredient salad. ...but apparently "mixed greens" means only iceberg lettuce. The toppings weren't sparse but kind of dumb being limited to 3- enough to suffice for the price. Just seems like they're cutting corners where they can. Overall this was a better experience than the prior. Delivery was no issue & arrived timely & fresh. We haven't been here since just before the world turned upside down and had a gift card from last Christmas. It was refreshing to be able to create my own pizza again. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and they were all very friendly. The dough was pressed as we arrived at the counter, and our choices were added as we requested them. If you want a little more, just ask. They can accommodate most requests. I have never tried the salad options here, however, the menu descriptions look really inviting. This just means I will have to go back! As the pizzas go in to the open brick oven, you are offered drinks and your food is rung up. We like this place because they also offer beer and wine by the bottle. Thankfully they still offer dining inside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our pizzas were brought out to us just a few minutes after we sat down. I really appreciate how they leave to go boxes out by the drink station, so you don't have to wait on anyone to bring it to you. This is a very family friendly place, we brought our sons here when they first opened. My family and I visited this location last night 5/18/24. The food was good as it's usually consistent from location to location but the service was terrible. Immediately from walking in you can tell there was a lot of miscommunication and no teamwork between the employees. There were several people waiting who had waited for upwards to 45min. The employees had no idea who's pizza was who's. As a manager in the service industry I strongly believe management is where things went wrong. The manager was in the back making dough while an obviously brand new young man was working without any guidance and was set up to not be successful. The other younger boy working with long hair possibly named Jayden but who knows if it's his real name was probably the worst one there. He had a horrible attitude, no help to another customer who had waited for 45min and then asked for a refund. When customer asked for refund he said what do you want me to do I can't give a refund. He could have simply said I'm sorry for the wait let me get my manager. The saving grace was the younger girl working who was kind and helpful. Hopefully this location and management can pull it together and work on communication between employees. New younger employee should have been doing dough, two people on pizza line and one person at the oven/register. It's so slow that I had time to write about it while waiting for my food! Prior to Fired Pie being here, there was another build-your-own pizza spot occupying the same building. They didn't last very long and I wonder if it's because there's something wrong with the kitchen. Fired Pie usually runs like a well-oiled machine but even this location was lagging. Oh well. We eat here somewhat often, since it's about 1/4 mile from our house. The pizza is amazing. The crust is always perfect and flavorful. On a Sunday night at 4:30 I put an order in online for three vegan pizzas. The pick up time said 5:06 and my husband arrived there at 5:10 to pick them up. The pizzas were not ready until 6:20. He waited over an hour with other upset customers and they were not giving refunds, discounts, coupons, or anything to rectify the situation. I understand that the online ordering system is automated and that pickup time is not always accurate but over an hour for three pizzas is ridiculous. I wish I could get my money back. I have ordered from Fired Pie before with no problems but THIS LOCATION is not worth the time and money. We came here after a rigorous training session at the gym. We were starving. I piled all kinds of veggies on my pizza and asked for what I thought was vegetable based protein. We went to pay for our food and they let us know we will not be able to earn our points...a $40 purchase? How convenient & this is the THIRD time they've used this excuse. Taking over a spot left vacant by another build-your-own pizza places, you'll find that the interior is pretty similar to the place that was there before. On this first visit, we tried 3 of the pizza creations to-go: margherita, Hawaiian BBQ, and Steak & Blue. All 3 were great and we have no complaints. You can also build-your-own pizza or modify a creation to your how every you desire. In our case, that meant heavy on the garlic! Service was friendly and pretty fast. Well this place makes everyone happy. Fired Pie is celebrating this Mesa location as their 20th location in Arizona. They are located on the Southeast corner of Alma School and Baseline with it's own parking lot. What makes Fired Pie awesome is you get an 11" pizza where you can choose from a preselected pizza or customize it entirely. It's cheaper than buying a giant pizza that no one can agree on for sure. Since it was their free pizza day I was worried it would be to crazy. Luckily the wait wasn't long, they provided shade while you waited and free iced tea samples outside. They remained transparent and let us know how long the wait would be so we could decide if it was worth the wait. I only waited 20 minutes and it was worth it! I ordered the Meditterranean pizza without olives. The staff was super courteous as I ordered and piled on the toppings. My pizza was cooked to perfection and the blend of Meditterranean spices was perfect. Fired Pie never dissapointe and this location is perfect. Nice and roomy and relaxing even when it's busy. Now go get your own pizza before it causes you and your boyfriend to break up over whether pineapple should be on pizza! read more

I had 2 pizzas (veggie and the Nashville hot chicken pizza) delivered this past Monday. (I should've known to stay away from the weird chicken pizza, but it sounded so good.) Both arrived very quickly and tasted great (although both were cold by the time I got them.) I ate a few slices from each pizza and then proceeded to be sick for the rest of the night. I hadn't eaten anything all afternoon. So I'm sure it was something in the pizza. With so many pizza places in the Valley, I'll pass on Fired Pie. arrived at this location on Alma School And baseline Road and we been here a couple of times and each time the service got severely worse today we arrived at 3 o'clock in the afternoon which is lazy and rush-hour. The staff was not friendly or smiling to even Greta upon arrival, but they finally did after doing some of their prep work in front of us. Oh boy. To start, the staff wasn't friendly, it was clear they weren't happy to be there. And that's fine but, you should still do your job right. For my pizza, they used a crust that was half sauced already that was set off to the side for some reason, no idea why or how they thought that was acceptable... No idea how long it could've been sitting there but instead of grabbing a new fresh crust for my pizza, the guy chose to use a half sauced pushed off-to-the-side crust for my pizza! Then, the girl who continued making my pizza DOWSED my pizza in salt! This is not an exaggeration. The coworker I was with couldn't believe it. I asked for some salt/pepper/oregano if they had it, and she grabbed a single shaker and shook its contents out very heavily, and for way too long. We thought "there is no way that's just salt coming out..." but upon my first bite it was very apparent that yes, it was. The pizza was inedible due to the heavy salt she decided to pour on it. Aside from the crappy inadequate staff, their ingredients look beyond unappealing. They're not fresh cut raw veggies. They're from a can, no fresh spinach or mushrooms and such... they're all wet and soggy and clearly not raw vegetables. Disgusting. Even their lemonade sucked. This was my first time at any Fired Pie. I am beating myself up for not sticking up for myself in this situation because none of this experience was acceptable. Needless to say, I won't be going back. And I will continue to support the much better choice for fast pizza, and that's Mod, at any location. I enjoy Fired Pie. I like how the pizza is freshly made right in front of you and baked in minutes. I have never selected their suggested pizza options and prefer to go rogue. When we inquired as to where they were, found one in a box sitting on the counter and hubs pizza was long gone?!?! Tried to give cold pizza and remake the missing one. No thanks!!! Refund please! NOPE they refunded the missing but because my cold pizza was still there I could just take it. I have contacted corporate about it, but the disrespect from the mouthy teenager behind the counter was absolutely ridiculous. I hate to leave bad reviews but this place is so awful I felt bad not leaving a review. We walked in asked if they had draft beer, the girl working said... "Yes, but I'm not sure if it works, do you want me to check?" They checked it, it was pouring beer out but they had to pour 10 glasses to get one without half a cup of foam and it tasted horrible. Got our pizzas and they were even worse then the beer. Do yourself a favor and go get a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Cheaper price and better quality!!! read more
