Customer service is the only part of the experience my wife and I had during lunch today that warrants a star in my opinion. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Their lunch menu is very minimal. Firegrills idea of a top sirloin steak is two skirt steaks stacked on top of each other and I'd say about 20% - 30% of the steaks themselves were just inedible fat. They do have an option of just the skirt steak and I'm pretty curious to know if their Skirt Steaks are just one of these? Drink machine was down so it was lemonade or canned beverages, not too big of a deal, lemonade was nice and refreshing, the environment and decor inside was pleasant. Shots of tequila are on the higher dollar sign in my opinion, coming in at just under $15 a shot. Total expense for lunch was just over $70 not including tip. Likely will not be returning to try their dinner options unfortunately. I feel that the owner has a misunderstanding of top sirloin steak and I just can't shake that thought. I understand that skirt steak is more affordable but I do not believe you can just stack two thin steaks on top of one another and call it your 8oz Top Sirloin Steak. The menu will not tell you the size of the steaks, I asked what the weight of the top sirloin was and I was told it's 8oz. Attached to this review is the receipt and steak from the meal, my wife's only complaint on her sandwich was that it was chewy, tasty but a bit too chewy. read more

I usually can not stand buffets. But Firegrills is extremely clean, no food items are mixed with other food items, spilled etc. I have ordered their lunch special or buffet. I recommend doing the buffet which is weighed depending what you want to eat. I have taken my lunch to go. And desserts are separately priced. I have tried all their desserts and I recommend getting the chocolate balls dessert option. In buffet their fish with gravy was excellent, plantains were seasoned great, and the mash potatoes are a must. In lunch specials I ordered fish and fried yuca before. This I didn't like as much because both the fish and yuca were extremely dry and possibly over cooked. So I would stick to the buffet option instead. Both times I only took my food to go with co workers. They do have seating inside with a good about of seating. Their dining in buffet options are better priced.~ read more

I work from home and I finished up some work for the week. I walked over to Firegrills because I live a block away on Cocoplum Circle. The place was filled with people. I asked for a Pepsi at the bar and the manager came up and said they can't serve me and they are closed. I've been there before with friends and family when they just opened and it was just a buffet, but never again. When I asked for a Pepsi at the bar one of the bar one of their barflies even said that I should go over the gas station. Not a kind or friendly place at all. I like to support local businesses but this is not the attitude you take when a guest comes in. read more

Thank you to John Z for our "adventure" today and a lovely lunch. John had read about this place in the coconut creek magazine and we were game to try it with him. It's not located in the most accessible strip center, but it's not that hard to find. We got there a bit before noon hoping to beat the lunch "rush" and although it got a bit busier later, I don't think it's really been discovered yet. You can order a sandwich or a plate or for lunch their buffet. After looking at the options, I decided on the buffet in order to try more items. Prices are quite reasonable. Drinks are additional. You pay after you eat. The side buffet had everything from hard boiled eggs to pasta. I tried some of the salad fixings, plantains, white rice, French fries, penne pasta, and black beans. I liked the plantains and the rice the best. Also by the side bar are the plates (both plastic and to go ones), silverware (metal and plastic), napkins, hot sauce, ketchup, bbq sauce, etc. You go up to the meat counter and they give you whatever types of meat you like. I tried two types of steak and two types of ribs. I didn't try their chicken or sausage. They slice the meat off of cooking skewers. You use tongs to put it on your plate. I loved their tender skirt steak and really liked their sirloin/pincanha. The sirloin was a bit rare to my taste, so they cooked it on the grill for me for a bit more time. We asked and found out that the only desert they had today (which I assume is also extra but not sure) was cheesecake. There are a few others listed on the illuminated menu This place is definitely for the meat lovers out there. And for the price, once the locals discover this place, they should do quite well. They're still relatively new and it's a no frills atmosphere. So, don't come for the ambiance, come for the steak! read more

This used to be my favorite spot during my lunch break up until today. I am not sure if it's under new management or what happened but the food is awful now! Frozen veggies, the mashed potatoes have no seasoning, the corn taste rotten and the sirloin steak is 40% fat. They are so overpriced. I would not recommend this place. read more

Located in an easy accessible strip center with plenty of parking and large banners to help you find them. Bright and clean with a large buffet and all the MEAT you can eat. I tried the flank steak, sausage, and ribs with some black beans and maduros the first time up. The meats were moist, tender and flavorful! My second trip back was for more tender steak. They are generous with the portions and will add meat back to the grill rotisserie if you prefer a different temperature or doneness. Very good ambience. Ricardo was very good at answering the phone and giving us details and making our reservation. Very polite! Our waitress Raiane, was super attentive and was very nice with a smile served us very well. And when I mentioned the sushi was with the shell she right away made another one without question even though I was not expecting it. The music is also very good! Natasha is the singer of the night and her vocals are amazing! Want to know when country music is playing because I'll definitely be back. Their food is perfect! Like I mentioned, the sushi is on sweet side. I ordered Dragon roll and we came on BOGO night, they brought both Toklas at once which I didn't expect but it was double the pleasure, I'm a foodie so it was very good. But be ware if your in to Japanese style sushi, it will not be the same! It's a culture good made Brazilian style. So unless you had sushi in Brazil do not complain! No rice vinegar on their rice based on my taste buds, and lots of mayo on everything. Marinated in mayo the salmon. I really like it because I lived in Brazil for a year and know what to expect, but if you are looking for Japanese style, order something else. I came for Brazilian sushi, my husband ordered the picanha and mandioca on Chapa, which came sizzling hot, and tasted amazing with onions grilled on top! Omg delish!!! we also got a beer bucket, and listened to great music. They dimmed the lights making the ambience very lounge style at 10:30 pm which was a BONUS because we wanted a date night but our son was with us, and we got both! Confusing "restaurant", concept. On the outside it appears that this business is a sports bar/hangout spot for Sunday football. Once you enter, it's a middle eastern/ Spanish restaurant? I still don't really know what the theme is. Anyway, once you enter and sit down, which you should be able too since the place is pretty empty, you get served a booklet menu. Many options but the prices are the real reason for the low review. A lot of the options were $30+. Extremely overpriced but if you don't have costumers then I guess it is what it is. The food didn't take long at all and was very good. I got the skirt steak with 3 sides based on the bartenders recommendation. The food was 5/5. My wife and I were intrigued by the prospect of a Brazilian Steakhouse so close to where we had just visited that we couldn't pass up giving Firegrills a try. It was late in the afternoon; but, the lunch buffet was still available. It features ALL the cuts of meat off the fire grill, as well as a welcoming array of fresh vegetables, side dishes; and, other meats. Our daughter opted for what turned out to be the largest, best tasting Chicken Caesar Salad she has ever had! After helping ourselves to the salads, we sampled Grilled Steak with Garlic Sauce, Bacon-wrapped Chicken, delicious Pork Sausages, and a grilled Strip Steak, cooked to order. It was incredible. This one one of the best value meals of our entire trip; and, all of us left more than satisfied; and, happy to have discovered a neighborhood gem that we could have just as easily driven past. read more

I had the linguica platter, which featured great pork sausage, good black beans, OK potato salad, and a very good, fresh house salad with tasty Caesar dressing. I had wanted to try the buffet, but it is only served until 3:30, so I went back for lunch today. Not great: only two meat choices: leathery but tasty pork chops, and fell-of-the-bone ribs, which had a very strange taste. No steak, no sausage, so hardly a wide-ranging buffet. Lots of rice and veggies, and again a good salad (a salad bar). I did not think this was good value, even at the seniors price of $ 10.99, and I would not recommend this place particularly highly. 6:30 pm - I wanted to try a new buffet place so I found this place after reading some Yelp reviews. I mean how can you go wrong with a Brazilian buffet at $12.99 ($10.99 seniors). I pulled up to the parking lot, which was empty. Uh-oh!! I look in the window from my car showed an OPEN sign, so thru the door I proceeded. All of the buffet lines were empty. I was informed that the buffet was only between 11:30 to 3:30 Monday thru Friday. Bummer. So, from their menu I selected the flank steak with 2 sides; black beans/rice and plantains. Tasty and cheap, $11.99 but still disappointed about no buffet. I will try to come in during the week, but I am a spontaneous diner, so it will have to "move me" to return. We decided to try this Latin/Brazilian meat buffet, and give them a second chance over a year later. Scratch that .... the buffet is only offered for an hour and half on weekends at senior dinner times. (Before 430pm). What .... you offered and were recognized for all you can eat meats and sides offered. Now you only offer individual meals. Sounds like nothing more than La Parilla now. Good luck ... you are truly one we will never miss. We should have continued to write this one off as completely a waste of time and effort. read more

Was not sure what to expect. Arrived after 6 on Saturday night. We were the only 2 there. Bar tender didn't know how to make a drink my husband ordered from the menu. Kielbasa appetizer was pretty good. We both ordered skirt steak. I commented how nice the steak knives were, however they could barely cut through the meat. My sides were veggies and mashed potatoes. Veggies were definitely frozen. Mashed were cold. Husband got Mac and cheese which was actually like spaghetti with some white cheese soup. Kind of like a Knorrs pasta that didn't sit long enough. While we are, all servers sat at a table together rolling silverware. Never came back. Not sure how they are still in business. Oh and menu says steak and sushi, but they don't have sushi! read more

Really high quality food for a buffet that costs $12.99. Usually I don't eat at the smaller Brazilian spots due to the price per pound. But that issue goes away here and I'm thankful for it. Bottom line is that if this was in a high visibility shopping center there would be a line out the door. But it's off the beaten path. It would also be $20 instead of $13 as well so come enjoy this hole in the wall and support their small business. My favorite foods were the picahna, sausage, sirloin and the roasted squash. There are so many wrong things about this place. I'll start with the first and overwhelmingly lasting impression you get when you walk in: the smell. We couldnt tell if there was a plumbing issue, but there was definitely a "weird" smell, and on top of that they tried covering it up with a lot of fabuloso. The floors are filthy, tables chairs and booths are dirty too, so what is the overwhelming fabuloso smell supposed to cover up? The food is just terrible. The meats are dry and have no flavor, none of that good-cut Brazilian quality you get at other rodizios. Waiter was very nice, first of all. It was a little confusing because there were a few of different servers for our table which is probably why our drink order got forgotten about. The reason for a one star is because it took 45 minutes to get our food while the place was nearly empty for a caesar salad and a steak. I always forget about this place but I'm now going to start remembering it as I live right around the corner. I was greeted as soon as I walked which was nice. It was also very clean and has a nice seating area....not a hole in the wall at all. I got 2 steak subs and chicken wings. The subs where filled with real delicious steak, fresh not soggy or limp tomatoe slices, lettuce cheese and mayo and they also came with chips. Both me and my husband could only eat half as they where so filling not to mention very tasty. Wings were large size and very good as well. I saw this place advertised on Facebook so I thought we would give it a try. This is very similar to other Brazilian restaurants in the area except this has a flat fee all you can eat buffet during lunch. It was totally worth it. Seems to be family run. The guy was grilling fresh steak right on the grill and there was sausage, chicken, and ribs on the skewers. My favorite part was the chicken croquette that was on the buffet. The salad bar looked fresh and clean. The hot bar also included rice, beans, mashed potatoes, fish, chicken wings, vegetables and French fries. The only thing I would have appreciated was a little sweet treat at the end. The sign said that it included dessert...but there was none. Overall A definite value. Ok this place needs a fair review. I don't know what Amira (reviewer from 3 days prior) is talking about nor do I feel it deserves the 5 stars it got yesterday. I have been here several times over the last 6 months or so and the place has been consistent. I usually done at lunch time and find there is normally about 5 to 6 customers at the time I'm here. I go directly for.the meat counter and avoid the buffet bar. I find the items look fresh however there is nothing exciting there making me want to add their weight to my plate. Ok back to the meat counter, this place is definitely not Picanhas in Boca they do not move enough product. I find the topbsirloin to be good IF they have a medium rare piece. Other temps tend to be over cooked a bit. The regular sirloin is decent as well. The sausage is on par with similar restaurants near by. The tables are clean, the bars are clean, the floor is clean too... Maybe not waxed but it is clean despite what the other reviewer stated. So in conclusion I give them 3 stars. It is a great place for a quick cheap meat lunch. The place is clean and the staff is pretty friendly. I hope theybget busier and business improves. I would love to upgrade their review with more stars and I think they will find their way. read more

Would not recommend this restaurant, my friend and I went to this establishment last night, we were the first ones there but the last ones to get our food, our server, Shirlei B, was not attentive to us as she were the other guests, but we let that slide. The food was not cooked properly and The service from our server was beyond unprofessional and at the end I went to pay my bill and was questioned why I didn't tip (on my card). Even though she needed no explanation, I told her that i will be paying her in cash instead. She stood over my friend and I waiting for her tip as we were still eating, about to wrap things up. Ive never had anyone Hawk over me in regards to a tip, which again was going to be waiting for her once we left. As we were walking to our car, our server came from behind and shoved my money back in my face and told us to have a good night and I quote, "take your money"...
