I have nothing bad to say at this restaurant. They make excellent sandwiches and have fantastic chili. They were very friendly throughout the entire experience, and ordering food was quite quick. From the time I ordered, it took about five minutes for me to be prepared and given. I got the medium Italian sandwich which had the perfect amount of meat and paired with the cheese, mayonnaise, and perfectly toasted bread, this sandwich was incredible! The chili was also surprisingly tasty. Not too oily, this chili was chunky with tons of meat and tomatoes. The secret is to get their sriracha packets and dump 2 of them in a bowl of chili. Hate leaving a 1 star but this is the worst Firehouse I have been too..Hubby went last night and got a hook and ladder he took 2 bites and threw it away ..I just chopped it up to him not feeling well...I went toda and got a meatball add mustard, lettuce and tomato...No mustard,no cheese and this is what I got on top of my sandwich?...Same girl both nights making food,,,we are in a hotel so did not feel like going back..Will never go to this location again...Did not even try to get it right read more

They really need to change the name of this place to firehose subs. Because within an hour of eating it you get explosive diarrhea like a firehose. I will eat here and continue to frequently. But each time I need to find the bathroom quick. I don't know what it is with the ingredients vs other places. Overall the sandwiches are so so. Better tasting than subway by far. read more

This was the first Firehouse Subs I ever ate at, way back in 2013. I always considered it a treat to get food here, never worried about having a less-than-perfect encounter. This Firehouse Subs can be relied on to deliver every time. I tested this theory today, coming through around 7:00 PM to get a snack with my girlfriend. Usually I'll get something with cold cuts; ham and turkey are reliable choices. Instead, we decided to get the Cajun chicken, on wheat bread. The employee who took our order was very polite, offering us cups of water when we declined to order drinks. After selecting a table, we picked out a couple bottles of hot sauce. Picking through the hot sauce selection is a treat, and I like to try new ones when I get the chance. Our sandwich was ready quickly. They split it in two baskets. We pulled out the toothpicks and dug in: thick slices of tasty chicken, red peppers, soft bread, hot sauce, other ingredients swirling around as the added habanero kicks in. That's the good stuff. Honestly I don't usually find myself throwing up the 5 stars for sub joints that often but I truly was thrilled with this experience. Kudos to the men working today making these sammies, for they knew just the amount of dressing to slather them in, were jolly and friendly and super accomodating. A medium sub is a good portion of food too. I only had half so that I could eat my Cheddar Sun Chips and have a little pop without getting too stuffed to return to my office. I noticed they had Cool Ranch Doritos too which I was pumped about because a lot of sub places don't carry Doritos anymore. Have you ever noticed that? I have. I'm usually craving those Cool Ranch. So, good little thing to know for my future return. They've got the chips and the pop I want. SNAP! The gentleman (possibly Manager) helping out on the sub line was super nice and let me have an extra pickle, because those spears are delish and a part of the draw for me as well. I spattered on a little hot sauce from one of their many selections and loved the variety to choose from. It was Alligator something or other. I ended up making a good choice! The food was good, not stunningly great. The chili container was not filled up to the top, and the chili was a little salty, and otherwise not so flavorful. Prices were a little high, I don't like to pay $1.98 for a bottled soda. However, this has got to be the best packaging/presentation I have ever seen for takeout. Brown paper bags, not plastic. Cardboard, not styrofoam container for the sub, sized so it sat nestled perfectly upright. It was a tuna salad, which can get soggy immediately, but here the bread was crispy. Service nice, fast, friendly, professional. That has got to be worth 5 stars, I'd almost thought that these simple things were impossible, so you can't use that as a measure of a review. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! I was expecting a subway-esque dining experience but it was so much better! The atmosphere was clean and simple to begin with, and the staff was very helpful as I asked some questions about the menu! The sandwich itself was so so fresh and tasted great; a far cry from the bland cold cuts of other sandwich shops. The sizes were a nice change as well, you can opt for small, medium, or large, all on white or wheat bread that is soft and obviously made fresh. Overall, I love this place and will be back -- especially since if you donate to the Public Safety Foundation, they will give you a cup to bring in for the entire year in order to get 99cent drinks! I ordered the New York Steamer with sautéed mushrooms online for pickup. When I arrived the lady at the counter could not find my order in the computer although I had already paid for the order online. The cook started looking around the kitchen for my sub and eventually found it on a Grubhub rack located near the front door. With COVID19 among us, it is surprising that this restaurant would leave food laying around for customers to rummage through to find their orders. I can only imagine how many previous customers have been handling my food. The sandwich was fine, but they did forget the sautéed mushrooms even though they charged me for them. Ordered via GrubHub since I couldn't make the trip to Firehouse. Received everything but a $6 salad. I informed the delivery person of this and they said it was Firehouse's fault and to call them. So I called them to tell them about my misplaced salad. The girl on the phone repeatedly said, "Umm, I'm not sure what to do." Then said they were unable to send another person to deliver my missed salad. They blamed the GrubHub driver at this point. She put her manager on and he explained they could not send another driver but I could come pick it up. Now why would I place a delivery order only to have to pick it up because of their poorly organized delivery service. I asked for a refund, I hope I get one. Pleased with service and quality. Shop was clean and well lit. I ordered the NY steamer and my wife the turkey bacon ranch. Both were well made with a good ratio of ingredients. I would say the taste of the meats and breads were good but I had a taste of processed and not very fresh. I was astonished at the size as well. Sandwiches were small though that's not bad- compared to other shops they are small, but though I did not agree that everything is fresh like they advertise- I feel it is more fresh than other shops with larger and less expensive sandwhiches. I really love the chicken salad sandwich here. And the bread is amazing! But what I really love is that fancy Coke machine that lets you make your own drink, I always do Sprite Zero with Cherry and it is yummy! Last time I try and be a nice guy here. One of the head honchos was here, and the staff messed up my order. Rather than drive back or call in and cost someone their job, I came back later in the day, only the cashier either failed to give me my receipt or I lost it (unlikely). I picked up a catering order today for work and I was extremely impressed by the friendliness, efficiency, and quality of the encounter. I walked in the door and before I could I get into the register I was refreshingly greeted by the cashiers. I then asked for my order which I had requested to pick up the day before. They immediately brought out the boxed subs, a bag with chips, cookies and condiments, and a gallon of cold lemonade (I had ordered a Deluxe Platter Pack for the 11 coworkers on my team and were considerate enough to cater to one of our co-workers onion allergy). Then, a team member came out to help me take everything out to my car. It's hands down one of the best experiences I've had while picking up an order during my lunch.
