Good subs. I would consider these better than Subway (who isn't nowadays) for a few reasons. Most subs here are served hot which Subway tries to do, but theirs always come out tasting burned to me. The other good thing about this joint is the abundant selection of hot sauces that they have. It's like having a Hot Sauce Store right in the restaurant...except you can't buy the bottles. I've eaten at this firehouse twenty plus times over the past few years. I eat at the one on Preston south of GB and Coit and Park. Tonight started with NO welcome to firehouse... that's not the problem but if you eat here you know the training. I have to start the conversation and say hello and not sure if the first person didn't speak English or just wasn't friendly. Then came the gent from the back to take my order and again no hello just an edge to take my order and that's cool except the fact for many years I order the NY steamer and add 2ozs of Turkey. Never been a problem until tonight all of a sudden I'm getting asked many times if I wanted a Turkey sandwich?? Lol short story long the guy who is supposedly the Mgr is telling me there is no option for 2ozs of Turkey. I get we have a Pandemic but there's four people working here tonight and they definitely don't have the the friendly sharp training I come to expect from firehouse. Today I experienced the most horrific prejudice experience EVER!! I went to this firehouse and when I received my order it was wrong but didn't realize it until I was 10 mins away. I called them right away and the young man who made my order said I made I'm sorry I'll either send you a gift card or you can come in and I'll replace your sandwich. I said I'll come back in so He took my name down. I went in today and I explained to Shannon the assistant manager what happened. She went to the back came back out on her cell and told me she talked to the GM Mario who told her to tell me I made the story up and she wasn't doing anything about it. I asked her to call her GM and she would she went to the back again to call him on her personal phone and she came back and told me to call the store tomorrow. I asked for corporates number and she told me she didn't have the number and that I needed to goggle the number. That's when I asked for her title and said it's strange the assistant manager doesn't know corporates number. She goes to the back for the 3rd time and magically comes back with corporates number and told me "little girl you need to leave." I called corporate ASAP. Shannon and Mario called me a liar for a mistake they did. I will never support this company. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Awesome subs and fantastic service. I was greeted with the standard "Welcome to Firehouse!" by just about every member of the staff on duty right as I entered. The Hook and Ladder sub is my favorite, by far. The service was excellent with a speedy order (no wait), sub delivered by an enthusiastic employee that followed up with asking how my sandwich was and proceeded to pickup my tray just seconds after finishing my meal. 5 stars for these guys! read more

I love Firehouse Subs but not the Frisco location. Slow and not clean. I went in around noon on a weekday. There were maybe 8 people there. Should have clued me in right then when they're not busy at lunch time. Ordered my usual Hook and Ladder. Waiting...waiting...waiting...even with 5 people working behind the counter...what were they doing? A customer places an order at the register and the worker rings him up (with his food service gloves on) and takes his money, gives change, etc. Then the worker goes back to the sandwich line and scoops up some lettuce and puts it on a bun (with the same gloves on-not clean ones). Grossed me out so I had to say something. I think I scared him. Asked if those were clean gloves after ringing up a customer and if that was my sandwich he was making. He said it was his sandwich. Right. Anyway...it wasn't my sandwich but some other poor customers germ infested lettuce. Worker was to distraught after I busted him and disappeared in the back. So, SLOW service and uncleanliness results in me not eating there again. But I still love firehouse subs and will eat at the other locations as long as they keep the gloves on in the food line and not on at the register. read more

As always this firehouse location is great. The owner is super and so is his crew. We eat here as often as possible. We have been to many locations all over the area. Sometimes they are not just right. But Never Here! This location is always serves up a perfect meal. read more

First the store was clean and we were greeted immediately as we entered the store. Alejandro and Max where great with the menu selections and my food was Delicious. Worst service of my life. I pretty much wanted to shoot myself while I was waiting. The gentleman behind the register was very nice and helpful. However, the man who handed me my food was a tad on the creepy side. Actually "tad" is a huge understatement he was pretty much mentally raping me. The food there is pretty awesome the #3 gives me life. I do feel as if I get stared down a lot. Because of my skin tone. I think everyone should save some time in their lives and go risk diabetes while eating Mcdonalds. read more
