I have never had a bad experience at FHS until today. I typically go to a different location closer to home. This location I tried today was dirty (floors and tables), got my name wrong (even though I used my points and my name is on the ticket), the sandwich was sloppy, no flavor and had items on it I asked to be removed (onions). I was disappointed with this experience especially since I thought FHS were all the same as my home location. The food and cleanliness (lack of) needs attention! The parking at this location is pretty bad and after my experience, so not worth the hassle. What a shame. I love FHS's Engineer sandwiches, but this one today was very disappointing. If I never had the pleasure of a wonderful FHS and this was my first experience, I would never enter another location ever. My location near home was given 5 start when I reviewed them. I guess I will stick with my location.

By far the best Firehouse subs in town. This place is always packed, so expect a line if you swing by during lunch. No worries though. The service is quick and courteous. They go out of their way to get you in and out as soon as possible. A couple of mounted televisions have ESPN or some other sports channel airing nonstop to keep you occupied while you wait on your order. When it's ready, they yell your name and you know your food is ready to go. I usually take the interim period to mix and match using their Coke Freestyle machine. I'm partial to their New York Steamer, but the Hook & Ladder is another great sub.

Terrible service. The person at register wouldn't honor the advertised price for the subs, so I got charged about 3 dollars more for two medium subs. Also the subs are smaller than expected. The Italian sub was ok, but the meatball sub was super dry and unflavorful, just plain salty. It's my first time trying firehouse subs and needless to say it's going to be my last time. Better luck getting Which Wich across the highway or even subway.

It was like Quiznos, just approximately 2 dollars more expensive. The concept is cute, but I will not be returning.

Food was decent, didn't appreciate manager talking about "visiting porcelain God" in middle of dining room, I won't be back.

I ordered the Tejano Cesar Zepplin and added double chicken, pickled onions and halved tomatoes with a side of tomato, basil soup and it was all so good. I've never had a zeppelin until before now and it's the best way to describe it is that it's the cross between a sandwich and a salad. What it is exactly is a loaf of bread with the inside taken out so that it's like more of a shell and then it is a salad bowl like mixture stuffed in there. I feel like it's the perfect lunch because It's super filling, but also very light, and healthy! What more can you ask for. They warm the bread, remove the inside and leaves the crispy outside to fill in with salad. Their salad recipes are good, especially the southwest one with avocados and black beans. Oh, so many tables to sit alone or as a group. Great place to be ! Leaving satisfied and would want to come back!

I went on a weekend so it was busy, but it wasn't unbearable. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating which was nice. Staff, 10/10: no complaints here! They were extremely patient with me upon ordering when I had a lot of questions, even though there were people waiting behind me. They were informative, had great energy, and were also hustling to get people their orders as quickly as possible Food/Drinks, 10/10: As a vegan, coffee shops can be hit or miss, especially on the food. Having clearly labeled vegan options made it easy for me to have confidence with my choice (vegan all day). The bread was perfectly warm but not hard. Great flavor. I also asked for a matcha with strawberry puree & no foam to meet my dietary needs. It was delicious! The person I was with had no the smoked salmon avocado toast and what I recall to be the amazon cloud. She rated them both 10/10 with no hesitation. Very flavorful and refreshing. Overall this experience was 10/10 for both of us. It's a not so small coffee shop with diverse options, friendly staff, and a clean ambiance that makes me want to go back. Highly recommend.

I hate that they only open at 7, I have to be at work at 7:/ I would defiantly eat here more often if they opened earlier. Otherwise I can only go in the weekends The service was friendly and they were efficient.

Located in Spring Branch, this fast casual restaurant is located in the same shopping center as quite a few solid eateries including The Blind Goat, Jinya, and Feges BBQ. In fact, Stuffed Belly is owned by Christine Ha, winner of season five of Masterchef. Parking wasn't an issue in the busy yet spacious complimentary lot around the shopping center. Ambiance (3/5): Stuffed Belly is more of a grab-and-go type spot. The reason? It's quite small. There are about five seats inside and one long picnic style seating area on the small patio. That's it. The restaurant looks nice, just tiny. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they let you know when your order is ready. The ordering process was smooth and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. While service isn't a big part of the experience, I didn't run into any issues. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3/5): I went with the belly burger (their classic burger) and an order of the loaded tots. It was a mixed bag. I love a good smash burger, it's one of my favorite types of burgers. The ingredients are all quality. The problem? One issue is that it's a pretty small burger as you can tell from my picture. A kiddie burger of sorts. The loaded tots, on the other hand, were a generous portion. I have a weakness for loaded fries. As others have mentioned in their reviews, fries are not an option at Stuffed Belly. Tots only. I like tater tots too, but it is pretty bizarre for a burger spot to not have fries on the menu. The other issue I have is that both of my items (as well as what my mom ordered) was spicy. Take this with a grain of salt as I can only handle a little spice. Still, the menu offerings packed more of a punch than I expected. Which definitely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. If you like spicy, don't sweat it. If you don't, you're probably going to feel like I did. While Stuffed Belly underdelivered a bit for me, I did come in with high expectations. The Blind Goat is much better (though more expensive) in my book. Also keep in mind that Stuffed Belly closes pretty early on several days of the week... 8 p.m.

I'm glad we have Ike's Love & Sandwiches all the from San Francisco in Houston and wouldn't mind…read morehaving more locations in town. This is the one and only location here and a great stop for all kinds of sandwiches. Their menu includes innovative offerings and iconic flavors, essentially the best of both worlds. If you're craving a classic or simple sandwich, you can get that. However, if you're looking for something special or out of this world, you can also get it. Ike's specializes in sandwiches with their Dutch Crunch bread and Dirty Sauce, both unique in its own way. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan, or on a gluten-free diet, their menu has it all. I personally am not a super fan of the Dutch Crunch bread since I find it a bit too harsh on the palate and somewhat dry, but love the Dirty Sauce (make it extra or on the side). I enjoy subbing the Dutch Crunch with either French or Sourdough. With over 300 unique sandwiches on the menu, there's a sandwich for everyone. My favorites have been the Menage A Trois (halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ Sauce, real honey, pepper jack, swiss, cheddar), Ike's Reuben (pastrami, mack Sauce, purple slaw, gouda), Joker (all beef meatballs, fried zucchini, Ike's red pesto, ranch), and Grant Pinkerton, a Houston exclusive (Pinkerton Brisket, pastrami, BBQ aioli, provolone). All of my sandwiches have been stuffed and tasty, worth it! However, I find some menu items to be subpar in quality and flavor (chicken strips). The service is typically quick, efficient, and friendly. There are more than a handful of tables inside and some out on the patio. The shared parking lot can get very crowded as it is packed with lots of other businesses.

Honestly, in the beginning it was pretty rough, slow service, incorrect orders, and the sandwiches just weren't as good as what I was used to getting in California. That said, I kept coming back every now and then hoping things would improve, and I'm glad I did. My last few visits have been great. The sandwiches have been fresh and really tasty, and the customer service has been solid. I also spoke with Jose, and he mentioned he's been working hard to turn things around, and it definitely shows. Not sure why they don't have more locations yet, but I hope they expand soon!
