Cool, no problem. 30 minutes later, still nothing. Watched five different DoorDash and Uber Eats orders fly out the door while I stood there like a forgotten houseplant. Went in at 6:00pm on a Saturday, guy at the counter clearly did not want to take my order, was mumbling & barely said a word during the interaction. I went in to pick up an online order my wife had placed (in her name). I, and four or five others, waited and waited, my bag never appeared. Well after the promised time, I asked the guy and he said the order was placed aside because my wife ordered fries which aren't available at that location. He said he was going to call her but they were slammed and didn't get a chance. The restaurant was less than half full, hardly slammed. Our food was cold by then so I asked him to do it over, which he didn't argue with. Who doesn't love a man... I mean sandwich in uniform. Firehouse's "Fully Involved" subs are the lunch time subs I've dreamed of my whole life. LOVE LOVE LOVE that they have a customized online ordering system. Lunch time ordering has never been easier. With friendly staff and specialty subs (and choice salads for the officer diet-er), firehouse is definitely going into the regular lunch time rotation. Played it safe and got the Smoked Turkey Breast sized large on wheat bread, but I was jealously eyeballing my coworker's Firehouse Steak & cheese. It looked like a darn good take on the classic Philly cheese steak. Wasn't jealous for too long though because mine was incredibly tasty. Meaty mouthfuls were stuffed with veggies like tomatoes, lettuce, olives, and sauteed mushrooms. They are not kidding when the say this sandwich is "Large" and "Fully Involved". Come put the fire out at Fire House! Quick!! I usually eat at church on Wednesday's, but tonight I wanted a Sub sandwich. I ordered the beef and cheese(hot)Sub. It was delicious. Now, as everyone knows, I am on a strict budget since my husband is sick and out of work for a while. So, $7.50 for a medium Sub is a bit pricey for me and I was still hungry after I finished my Sub. So, after church I went and got a healthy smoothie. Now, I want to talk a minute about the staff on board. I am so impressed as to how, polite, helpful with my choice of sandwich. They even brought it out to my table. Then they came out and asked me if the Sub was okay. I told him that the Sub was delicious and it was! Then later after I was finished, a nice young man whisked my trash away for me. "Wow service" is what I call that. Now, leading to the building inside and out:the parking is minuscule, terrible when busy. I came right after work and was lucky to find a spot this time. I love the tables and chairs outside. I also love the wall mural of the Firemen in action. I liked the drink machine, which is self serve and easy to operate after you've done it a few times. My only disappointment is that both tables on the the sides of me were dirty and no one ever came to clean them. Like they say, "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. Lunch in the San Marco area around 12pm is a bad idea pretty much for the parking aspect. If you "know" where to park, life is good. If you're an amateur and don't know where to park, you'll never eat lunch! We definitely spent a couple few minutes finding a place to park to eat here and thank goodness we lucked out on finding a place. After parking, all anxiety was dispersed and it was time to grub! Ordering was easy! Every employee encountered was friendly and facilitated the process. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine but even dining inside, we would not have had any issues. The food was accurate as expected. I mean food quality from location to location has always been top notch. I reckon my only gripe is the packing situation that Firehouse can't control. I went to Firehouse in the San Marco area for lunch. We got there before noon to avoid lines. From the very beginning to the end, I have to say that customer service was very professional. That, and the sandwich that I had were the highlights of my visit. I had the New York steamer, a sandwich made with corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and italian dressing. I do not have too give too many details on how was it. This location is the worst firehouse I've ever been to. They have bad customer service, very slow with making subs, and the quality of the meat is not good. I ordered a meatball sub last week, got it home to eat it, and realized the meatballs were hard as a rock. They were inedible, you could hit them against the table and they made a thudding sound. I've stood in that restaurant waiting for a sub, trying to make eye contact with the employees to no avail. They don't greet you when you walk in, they don't notice you standing there for 15 minutes waiting for a sub and they don't think to ask what the person is waiting for. After 15 minutes of waiting I asked for an ETA on my sub and they said "oh it's sitting over here ready" It wasn't with the orders that were ready like the online or anything like that, just sitting on a bread toaster in the corner. At this point the sub is cold even though I have been standing there for 15 minutes. I ask how long the sub has been there and why it was sitting there and all I got was an "I don't know" from two workers. read more

I go to firehouse subs typically once a week at least. Their sandwiches are great for lunch. I will slip away from work when I'm hungry to get something quick to eat. Their staff is great and I've always been very helpful. They also have an app for your phone that when you purchase sandwiches from their place you earn points and are able to Get sandwiches for free. I typically find that I earned 1500-2000 points approximately for one visit and can't get a large sandwich for 10,000 points. Mondays are double points. That seems pretty reasonable to me. read more

I was really conflicted posting this. I've been going to this Firehouse since high school (go crusaders!). Tonight I was very disappointed unfortunately. I know they only had a little over a hour left until they closed, but this was just unacceptable. As soon as I walked in the place it smelled (REEKED) like ammonia and cleaning chemicals. I'm not going to go into detail about the old mop water they had out right in between the main entrance and the counter. They had cleaning chemicals all by the drinks station. I'm not going to pretend to be a doctor or health inspector but what they were doing tonight was borderline unsanitary/unsafe. I've been a young guy anxious to get off work, but when you don't close for another hour and half you just have to do better. What made things even worse was the lack of customer service. There was no sense of urgency toward the customers. EVERY employee was more focused on "being done by s quarter to ten ". Just a huge letdown for a place I've really enjoyed going to. Firehouse should expect more, especially at such a prime location. I really hope things start to improve at this firehouse. read more

I've been to other Firehouse locations but here, I ordered 40 boxed lunches for a meeting. The person I spoke to, Angie, was very helpful and patiently gave quotes and stuff. I did the assorted varieties of 8" sub with a cookie, chips and pickle. The boxes were priced at $7.49 a piece, which was reasonable. By the time I reached the destination, the boxes had already been delivered ahead of time and been arranged neatly in an order. I am truly satisfied with their service and delivery. I would have given them 5 stars only if they had delivered the ice that I kept asking for, repeatedly, each time I called. I would surely order from here for future office meetings! read more

I came here on a Sunday night and the area was more busier than I expected, so parking was very limited which isn't necessary this establishments' fault. This was the closest firehouse sub to Baptist where we were staying the night at and the wife wanted me to go here. The issue started when I went in to pick up my order which was suppose to be ready 15 minutes prior. Apparently my online order never went through although I received an email confirmation. I told the guy at the counter that I parked at the 15 minute spot so I needed to be in and out. He said no problem and had someone else work on the order as he started sweeping. On August 25, Firehouse subs ripped me off. They charged me for items that were not delivered, AND refused to provide items paid for. I ordered 14 sandwiches and never got the 1 salad ordered, they failed to deliver as promised and left us stuck without deinks, cgips amd cookies. Just dry sandwiches because they didnt provide condiments. Awful, deplorable sercice, then refuse to redund what was not provided.
