Yesterday we needed to grab a quick lunch and she suggested we go there. The entrance to the parking lot is a mess, but the sandwiches are always first rate. They even have Coke in the original glass bottles without the corn syrup! My goal is to eat everything on the menu. The food is always fresh with organic ingredients wherever possible. The service is great, and the space is always sparkling clean. I'll always look here first whenever possible. My partner finally said to me " I don't know why we old go anywhere else, this place is easily the best."

No spice is literally no spice but did not taste unseasoned at all. Mild spice was actually a bit spicy. The servings were well sized and included pickles that were pretty tasty and one dipping sauce. I think extra sauce is available for a small fee. Overall we would return when we have a hot chicken craving.

Instead of offering to fix the mistake or even ask us to bring it back in (which we would've if he had asked us to), he decided to explain to my mother the terms of medium-rare and how it is "crudo", but medium-rare in spanish is medio crudo. He then, told us to google it if we wanted to know what medium rare is, like we haven't dined in at a restaurant and ordered steak medium rare before. (The image is of what most of the meat looked like in the inside and you can see we were trying to cook it more in the back) Apparently, this is not new for them to serve meat a lot more rare than they are meant to. (I saw a reviewer that had shown medium rare meat when they ordered well done. I tried contacting the business to make sure this incident doesn't occur again, but unfortunately their email address doesn't work and there is no direct number to call the store owner.

On or about June 11, 2020 at the Kingstowne Alexandria location - I entered the business without a mask , I was immediately confronted by a Hispanic male employee and ask to leave . I advised the employee I'am exempt under the Governors Mandate and showed him my Disabled American Veterans Identification . He refused to allow me to purchase a meal . I'am a 25 year retired Veteran of not only the police department but also the military as well. I'am exempt and provided proof . I do t deserve a confrontation nor embarrassment trying not only getting sandwich but also supporting a small business in time of need . You have lost my business and I have advised all first responders of the incident and not to patronage your establishments. As you promote that you cater to first responders , we clearly see , that exemptions are not being followed under the Governors order. read more

First time here and I got the New York Steamer: Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing on wheat bread. My first thought was this sub is a lot smaller than Subways. Once I bet into it, the juices starting oozing out. Man this is some good stuff. I'm new to yelp but I figured I would try it out on this location because I was so disappointed. I love Firehouse Subs but this location wasn't great. It took forever to get my sub and it was soggy. I usually go to the Firehouse in Springfield Plaza and they are always awesome, I think I will keep going back to that location instead. read more

Best subs in town!! Club on a sub is my favorite and new cold subs are amazing. The Sicilian is better than the Italian store! Friendly crew when they bring it to your table and then clear your trays. Beats subway any day. read more

The server told us the catfish was Asian catfish and served it to me the way he preferred it: side of lemon with seasoning sauces on the side . He gave us a heads up that they cook the food fresh and it would take 15 minutes. We didn't mind the wait and waited patiently. We will definitely come back and order catfish, waffles, mac and cheese, and fried chicken when we come here. This is one our favorite late night go see fast food places.
