I love the food at Firehouse subs, which is why I chose to grab a bite there tonight. But the customer service was absolutely terrible. We walked up the counter to place our order. The young woman behind the register didn't say a word to us. Not a word.... no, can I help you? May I take your order? Nothing. I had to ask her if she was ready to take our order. Then we found out the ice maker was broken so we had to drink warm sodas and lemonade. Then we waited forever for our food. Some of the other customers asked for their money back because the wait was ridiculously long. No one cleaned tables. No apology for the wait. If you are the manager of this store, get it together. My coworker and I walked in here on a Tuesday morning and ordered a couple subs. They fame in a timely manner, but to be honest, they were just okay. Their quality is above Subway, but below Jersey Mike's. What really surprised me about this place was how dirty the dining area was, considering it had just opened at 11. The employees were nice enough, the food was OK, but there's nothing to warrant a return trip here for me. Nice sub this place seems to be pretty good so far it's in the parking lot next to the mall .The subs was pretty good price kinda higher then other places a sub bag of chips and a drink was about 13 dollars they give you a number and bring you food to your table. read more

Not a fan of the sandwiches. So wet I didn't know if it was a soup or a sandwich. I had to suck the "juice" from the bottom so it wouldn't drip on my shirt. This was my first time eating a sub from here. Costly for a mediocre sub. My husband ordered an Italian Sub which he liked but, he will eat anything even if he does not like it. I ordered a grilled chicken sub with cheddar cheese. Pretty basic. The chicken tasted horrible minus the cheddar cheese with a ton of mayo. I should have ordered a mayo sandwich instead. I had the salad which was really good. Low in calories but off the chain in sodium. So is life....Took some time for the food to be ready so call ahead if you are in a rush. Pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Firehouse Hero. It was amazing! They have that special Coca Cola beverage dispenser that gives you thousands of options. Got the 0 calories cherry limeade. Went here for lunch today, I had the grilled chicken and salami Italian salad and husband had the firehouse sandwich. He was happy with his sandwich but it was nothing awesome but if you are going to advertise your salad as a grilled chicken salad with salami you should actually put some grilled chicken on it. It was a good salad and I loved the addition on the kalamata olives and how it was easy to eat due to the chopped veggies. again, it was just okay. would like to have regular Italian dressing and not the lite dressing as it has too much sugar in it. read more

It's been over ten years since i have had a firehouse sub, (I used to live on the East Coast). We went this Sunday for lunch and while the service was good and the place is amazingly beautiful, i wasn't actually that impressed with the food. It was good, mostly. I ordered the Hook and Ladder combo (which i think is a little overpriced) and got it the way that they make it, except that i asked for no Mayo. The sandwich had a small line of deli mustard. So small that I didn't really taste it at all. It needed more of the mustard to combat the sweetness of the ham. But besides just not being impressed that much, that is my only criticism. read more

I want to start by saying I like their subs better than any other sandwich shop in the AV. However, the service is lacking. The first time I went I got my order to go and when I got home the extras I wanted in my sandwich weren't added. The second time I went they forgot to add the meat to my wife's sandwich and they forgot the cheese and onions on my chili. The third time I asked them if they added the cherry peppers I wanted and when they checked, the meat wasn't added and they forgot the peppers. Save your money!!! Small portions for large prices, the sandwiches were tasty, however I can think of Fifty places that are the same price range and the portions much larger. After seeing a Jurassic World we were so excited to go over and have dinner after seeing all the advertising and checking out the menu. We were both so...oo disappointed!!! Sandwiches are alright but nothing special. I have had much better Subs at other places. The prices are also higher then other places and not really worth it. I am also very disappointed as I was there picking up my order I was in line behind a group of police officers buying a bunch of sandwiches while working...I was shocked that this restaurant didn't give them any sort of discount or even offer them free drinks!!! The Hero submarine sandwich is the absolute best sandwich I have ever had in my life. Very savory and tasty. So much so that I have bought 10 at a time to share with my co-workers. These guys are the best. They have an excellent staff behind the counter who are patient with me when I place my orders. There is one tall girl there who seems to run the show who is absolutely outstanding. (Wish I knew her name). Anyway, I've also ordered the big take-out packages to pick-up for after-work parties and she has fixed me up perfect. j1 read more
