Such amazing customer service! I went twice in the last two weeks and both times the staff was just great! Super kind, you can tell they truly love what they do. The sandwiches were also 10/10, worth the price hands down.

I received a BOGO deal from Tmobile for a Medium Hook and Ladder. And since I am in the area, why not just use the deal. The place is kind of empty but people are in and out for pick up. The place has all the stuff that relates to firemen's gears and stuff. For this BOGO deal, ordering is online. You have to download the app then apply the code at check out. If you're not tech savvy, this is challenging. It is a 7 inch sub that comes with all the works and 3 kinds of deli meat. I have enjoyed it and the dressing is really good. But I don't think I can come here often. I find them pricey. I can get a 12inch sub for the same price somewhere else. *no drive thru *private parking lot

I love their meatball subs, get the sweet and spicy one! The workers are so nice, they remade my order quickly when I got wheat instead of white bread. I love their creative specials as well :) this has been a place my family has always enjoyed. thanks firehouse!

Always so good. That is why I keep going back. My favorite sub on the planet is the Italian, full involved, no onions, on wheat. That is why people go to the same franchise. Consistent food even if you travel to a different state. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

I tried this place for the first time ever and had an amazing experience. We had the pepperoni pizza, meatball sub, and the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. Definitely out of this world quality and taste. All staff was loving and welcoming very accommodating. The restaurant is beautifully, decorated with their firehouse theme. Great atmosphere. i'll definitely be a regular Customer here now.

Best subs in the AV!!!

Firehouse subs are one of my favorite go to sub places. The subs are always on point. The deli meats are warm & the bread is so soft. The staff is always nice to the customers. The subs can be a bit pricey but well worth it.

This is our second visit . Big sub is hook and ladder , small sun Italian, and kids sun is turkey .

I've been here twice now and the service is great as well as the subs. If you haven't tried them out yet you probably should.

It's a little shop located in a strip mall with some tables and chairs inside and limited seating outside. Walked in and it seemed pretty quiet with just one other customer waiting for their orders. Customer service was just OK. Looked over their menu and decided to go with the turkey sandwich. Step one is picking your bread. They offer a variety of eight breads to choose from I went with whole wheat bread. Step two is picking your cheese and they have a variety of 16 cheeses to pick from I chose pepper jack. Step three is the condiments. I went with all and if there's anything you don't want, you can subtract it. The turkey sandwich I ordered was OK. They were very generous with the turkey. It came with all the vegetables and fixings, but I couldn't figure out what was giving it a salty taste. Should've went with a different selection of bread as the wheat bread was very, very dry and crumbly. Paired my turkey sandwich with jalapeño chips and a Coke.

Baracoa Cuban Restaurant was an amazing discovery when we stopped for a lunch pitstop on our drive…read moreup towards Tehachapi. I can easily see them being a favorite in the Palmdale area. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.

Pretend to be happy. Everyone in there seemed like they just got finished arguing. You guys are not robots it won't hurt to be friendly. If you want people to tip you, you should smile and greet them. Even if the food is bad, if the customer service is good then you will get maybe a $5 or more tip. The ambiance is just cold... This bright restaurant certainly fit that description! We were impressed by the Hawaiian feel and decor right from the start. We were welcomed so warmly by the young manager and his staff. He explained the menu and some of the options and also that Thursday was a discount day if you ordered a dish that featured chicken as the main protein, because it was Thursday. My partner chose a chicken bowl on a bed of coconut rice (12.99) and I chose the combination chicken breast and shredded luau pork plate (17.99) also with coconut rice, and a delightful mix of sautéed broccoli florets, diced zucchini, onion, and finally shredded carrots. There were four accompanying sauces to sample. I liked a combination of the spicy teriyaki with the pineapple teriyaki. The Sriracha was too hot for me because I'm a wimp when it comes to hot things, and I just didn't love their peanut sauce very much. I think the recipe could be reworked. But I liked that they offered peanut sauce as an option! They also served us a tasty Hawaiian style macaroni salad made with cavatappi pasta. Portions were large, and I love their presentation for dining in, especially the angled bowls. Even their take-home was in high-quality reusable plastic containers , showing the care they gave for even the smaller details. Dessert options include an individual pineapple upside down cake (4.99) and choice of large size chocolate chunk or salted caramel cookies (2.99). There was a serve yourself drink station. Because my partner had the chicken protein he was gifted a free drink. They have locations also in Simi Valley and in Ventura city. The Palmdale location has been opened already for 17 years! We plan to come back here again for certain the next time we're in Palmdale. Plenty of free parking as it's part of a large shopping area, but easily seen from the street.
