Meh. Subway bread is better. They have sautéed mushrooms and veggies you can add here which is a plus, but the wheat bread was a big let down. Also cucumbers are diced :/ I know that's me being picky but circular cut cucumbers taste better and gives you more crunch! Meat was good though, I had the turkey breast. They also have round subs under 500 calories, if you're counting. SERVICE Everyone was nice. Food came out quick. ATMOSPHERE Lots of tables, pretty clean. Kids get firefighter hats, cute idea. They have TV's also. PARKING Lots of parking. It's located near Chipotle and the Fed Ex across from JC Penny and Macy's. The map on here shows it on the opposite side so don't follow that. read more

Most delicious sub sandwiches ever. I have tried club on a sub and it is seriously the best sub I've ever had. I've had jersey mikes, subway, Quiznos, etc. Firehouse really takes there time and the meat is the star... Juicy succulent meats cut perfectly and heated to perfection. The whole sandwich is melt in your mouth amazing. Heaven in your mouth. I tried a bite of my husbands beef brisket sandwich and it was just as good as mine! I have been here two days in a row now and I still think the sandwiches are the best. They had a bunch of hot sauces you could put on your sub if you wanted to but I would rather not mess with perfection you know? As for cleanliness the place was nice and clean and the service was great. I'll be back again soon. read more

I was so happy to see this location open back up after being closed for a year. Me and my wife went in and spent 38 dollars on our sandwiches and soup combos. Food was good. I saw on the app that i had a free birthday sup. So i go and order a sub to go and the register cant take the discount off. The employee ringing us up was trying to help us and asked the owner for help. The owner came out with an attitude and says it only works for six days. Ok my birthday was two weeks ago so i try to use my offer on the app a free cookie with purchase. That wouldnt work and the owner had more attitude about it and refused to help us. The employees are great but the owner has a huge attitude and super unhelpful. This will be our last time at this firehouse! To the employees hope he treats you better than the customers. read more

First time for me! I am very happy with my sandwich. I came very hungry and ordered the large Italian. It was so good!! I added black olives and banana peppers. The sandwich is huge!! I was so hungry and i struggled to finish it. They are not shy with the servings either. I will definitely be back. Also, i like the soda machine that gives you so many options and different flavors you can add to your regular sodas. My daughter have the turkey bacon ranch and she really liked it. First time customer to any Firehouse Subs. This particular location just opened 2 days ago. Walked in and it was a chorus of employees welcoming us. It was great. Grabbed a table and looked at the menu. No pressure to order.. Had some questions about things and immediately got answers from several employees. Customer service was outstanding. Something missing today at many businesses. They have 3 or 4 sizes of sandwiches. They have combos that include chips and drinks. Got the large Bacon Turkey Ranch sub and it had a pound of meat on it. Was definitely worth the money. Had to take 1/2 of it home for lunch tomorrow :-). The bread has great flavor as well. Got to speak to a Corporate manager who was there to help them on their opening weekend. He gave us a history of how Firehouse Subs came about. That was cool.. Definitely going to go back. I've received GREAT customer service each time. The sandwiches are better than Subway and Quiznos... They're more fresh and not just a cold or overly toasted bun and meat sandwich. I'm still giving them 5 stars, but they're really not getting the whole "custom sandwich" thing. Every. Single. Time. I order, I have to have them re-make the sandwich because they can't seem to get it right. Every. Single. Time. They put pickles on the plate when I say no pickles. They put onions on the sandwich when I say no onions. This happens every single time I come here, in spite of the fact that I protest loudly BEFORE they make it. I tell them that last time they had to make it twice, and yet, they still end up making it twice. The food is delicious, so I'm keeping my five stars, but I don't know what it's going to take for management to get this right. Mid-review here I had a conversation with the server who was quite apologetic... But this is 6 times I've checked in here now, and 6 times the exact same thing happened. I love the food, the people are super nice, but if I don't EVER get what I ordered how can I keep saying how great it is? Management, please RESPOND to this review and tell me what steps you're going to take to keep this from happening in the future. read more

I have tried every sub shop in the AV and I Love Desert Deli and Best Of Europe and who would not they use Boarhead Meat and that is the best ,Jersey Mikes is good and even Subway has it down now ,But I wanted to try Firehouse as they give back to the community ,Well they should as much as they charge and than what you get ,first you walk in to a fake forced welcome from the crew that seem miserable , Than I get rushed through and I tell the person I never been here and I want to compare them to everyone else where I get all eyes rolling like I am a jerk ,I think wow I am just trying to be nice and explain I never been there and I look at the menu looking for a roast beef club where I informed we do not have that we have a Hero .....Oh ok I will take 2 heros and add extra meat please and I will take everything ....Well they are high up and you can see nothing as if its a secret and now I know why , Well I get home and present mom this sandwich and I take mine and it looks odd first of all if that is extra meat I would like to see a regular portion as there was so little meat under this gross looking pile of what I figured out was melted chesses ,Why melted ? I guess it caught on fire at the firehouse ? Got the large cheese steak with onions peppers and mushrooms used one of their signature sauces to top it off. Just as good as i remember. Firehouse Subs just opened recently by the AV mall and I was in the area with a buddy and came to try it out. The inside of the place looks great ! The interior design and firehouse theme gives the place a nice look. The staff was friendly and kind, giving a welcoming vibe. I ordered a #7 medium cheese steak sub, which includes a medium drink and chips. Came out to about $11, and after trying the sub out it wasn't completely worth the price. The bread was fresh and the meat was tender, but the sandwich wasn't anything special that sets itself apart from any other cheese steak sub, actually the sub seemed pretty flat and plain compared to others I've tried. I still enjoyed it though, but I also had the chance to try a bite of the engineer sub and that one was delicious! Not to mention, they have a big selection of sauces which is convenient to customers. Overall, a good sub place. read more

This place is clean and well decorated in the firehouse theme. The staff were very polite and courteous. There is a wide selection of different sandwiches and salads. I have tried the meatball sub and the Italian. The meatball sub was well made and flavorful. The Italian was packed with meat but it had an odd sweetness that I wasn't crazy about. I would give this place five stars but the bread isn't that great. It's far better than subway but not as good as a mom and pop deli. I would recommend this place and will come back again. read more

I placed a catering order and called to add a catering salad on (an hour before pick up) The girl who answered the phone was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She literally had to be one of the most customer challenged people I have come across (and that's being nice-she was incredibly HORRIBLE) it was like talking to a wall. Why do companies hire people like this? I come in to pick up my order and the extra salad was not there! Surprise!! I should have known she would screw it up. Manager offers to make one but would be another 15 minutes. I don't have time. Nothing else was done to fix the situation. She said the girls wasn't supposed to take catering orders. Then why did she? Thanks to screwing my lunch up. I really appreciate it. Lol. I spent over 200.00 and you seriously can't make this right? I do lunches 2xs a week and wanted to try this place out. This will be the first and Last time. And I will let my counterparts know as well to steer clear. Customer service was horrible. I need some place I can rely on and this isn't it. I get much better service at jersey mikes and will be returning there. They get my orders right. You just lost out on 800-1000 per month of business because of some employee who obviously has no clue what she was doing and then I get 'we will make you a salad but it will be 15 minutes and we have to charge it separately '. First I have to explain why I didn't give it a higher rating I originally came in here on 7/6/18 ordered my sandwich no mayo sub deli mustard for hello mustard only to get home and have my sandwich covered in mayo, I called they were closing they said my name would be on some list in back I said ok and tried to scape mayo from bread it didn't work I ended up eating it without top bread, now I went in on 7/10/18 and mentioned what happened I wasn't given any trouble about it the staff member remembered and started making my sandwich they took care of it now I will say it staff member didn't seem happy when they fixed issue it was here you go, I do think customer service training probably needs to happen here my sandwich on 7/10/18 was excellent and they did correct issue but it almost made me feel bad they fixed it I guess a sorry about what happened sir here is your new order take care let us know if you need anything else would have been better. read more

The food was great, and the prices are not too bad. I like the sandwich choices, and the options that they provide for sides. My only problem with this location, was the customer service. The cashier was apparently having a bad day, and couldn't seem to keep her professionalism long enough to help 2 new customers. I like the food, enough to go back, but hope that maybe she will be in better spirits when serving me next time. read more

We ordered three subs, two hot subs Steak & Cheese which we received cold and the third was the Turkey with Cranberry which was pretty good. The staff was decent although they were discussing/ arguing about how one of the cash registers was short money and no one wanted to take my order being that they didn't want to work on the register and be responsible for the missing money. When a person walks into your shop and goes to the counter to order some food on Saturday afternoon about 4:00 and there is nobody else in the store only people eating and the girl walks out with some bags of condiments to load into the bin and tells me she will be with me in a few moments and is more task orientated than wanting to take care of the customer this place needs serious help!
