Amazing food and amazing service. Firehouse is consistently fast, clean, and delicious!

First time here Saturday Oct 2. I've been dying to eat here. Love the concept and we are big on supporting our local businesses. Ordered to go. Per pictures this is supposed to be a small steak and cheese with bell peppers and added sautéed mushrooms. Had I known I needed to bi a bigger sandwich or added extra everything, I would have. Thoroughly disappointed and so my my husband with his sandwich which his bacon ended up on my sandwich. If it were not for the chili and Mac, we would have needed to get more lunch. I will give it another try but if it fails again , will scratch of the AV list of places to eat. read more

If you have never tried Firehouse Subs .... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? I had them today for the first time and they are better then any other place I have been to!!! I ordered 2 different subs the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket and the Hook & Ladder (made this a meal). The subs were full of flavor and they melt in your mouth, the 5 cheese Mac & Cheese was a flavor bomb, and the Zero Sugar drink options are amazing!!!! I will be making more trips there even if I'm not in the area .... They are so worth it!!! read more

Went there last night for dinner. Place was clean service very fast BUT the Customer Service was awesome. Robert the cashier was very helpful in explaining the choices and sizes. He was patient since we had a bunch of questions. He had us laughing and my son was excited to try the Coke product dispenser with a "billion" choices(his words)!!! We bought 5 large sandwiches : Italian Engineer Meatball Pizza Firehouse Steak & Cheese Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar DELICIOUS!!!!!!! This place is mediocre at best. This is what I have heard from a friend that visited this establishment, but to be fair, I would give it a try. I ordered the medium Turkey Sub for $4.99. I was disappointed. I could have made this sandwich at home for less. It only comes with mayo, mustard, tomato, lettuce, onion and dill pickle on the side. The subs back east don't use mayo or mustard. That's only for sandwiches. I had to pay extra for oil and vinegar (this is how their made back east). You have to pay extra for oil, vinegar, pepperocini, jalapeños, cucumbers, etc. My husband ordered the small Engineer on wheat and was happy with it. He said it was tasty. No thanks! I'll go to Jersey Mike's or even Subway. I may give them one more try, not sure. read more

Do not understand why they asked how i wanted the sandwich made when they don't follow the instructions. Ask for No Cheese for a reason, so why do you insist on putting cheese on the sandwich? I ask for NO CHEESE because of a food allergy! A potential fatal food allergy! An Epi-Pen and trip to ER allergy! My friends and I were originally planning on visiting Canes, but since the line was ridiculously long we decided to try out this place instead. It did not disappoint! I've been to three different locations to give it a chance because I support my local fire departments and live food. Unfortunately every single time I eat there it is always one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had,bland, dry, tasteless , hard bread better off going to subway. I tried 3 times all disappointing . Not a subway Subs have been predetermined, you just need to pick the combo that is best for you. I got the #10, since it is one of the most popular. The brisket had the smoke ring that you look for, but employees couldn't say where it was cooked or when. Flavorful, but I would try something else if I went again. Large combo $13 out the door. BTW. The map is incorrect. Located next to chipotle near guitar center. At least I got some extra exercise trying to find it. read more

Pretty cool new sandwich joint in the mall loop. Went on a busy Friday night but still were able to order quickly and received our food in a reasonable amount of time. The hot sauce bar is fun and I liked how they numbered the sauces according to their level of hurt. I tried the NY Steamer and hubby tried the Italian; we both liked our choices, though I think hubby was more impressed than I was. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was good, just not holy-mother-this-is-incredible good. For stars for being a patriotic, reasonably priced, and tasty new option for the AV. Finally got a chance to try the new Firehouse Subs in West Palmdale. I had the Firehouse Steak & Cheese and my son had the Smokehouse Cheddar & Brisket sandwich. Both were delicious. Very tasty and the bread was super soft and fresh. We were greeted by a friendly staff and they were eager to tell us what some of their most popular sandwiches were, but without being annoying. The service was great, the food was fantastic and it looks like the kids get a little red fire hat to wear. If highly recommend Firehouse Subs, if you like great subs. So, so close. The steak and cheese sandwich is almost there, almost the best cheesesteak I've had outside Philadelphia. The bread was right on. The steak 98%. But they lose points with the cheese. I need Cheese Whiz on my cheesesteak. Next time, I'll scrutinize the menu and see if I can tweak it to get it closer to Pats King of Steaks flavor. read more

Came here for lunch. I work for Amazon. It was my first time here. I had the Engineer and added banana peppers. The service was quick and enough for me to eat and watch some videos on my phone during my 30 minute lunch. Friendly staff and clean facilities. PLUS. The water & tea station is amazing. 10/10 will definitely recommend them for those of us in the blue collar 30 minute lunch type of jobs. read more

When asked for special instructions READ them you sent someone to hospital for allergic reaction I asked for steal & cheese with NO peppers now my fond had be rushed because some @zzhole did NOT read the order correctly I also asked for 2 macaroni and cheese 1 add bacon & o uons instead I got 4 macaroni and cheese plain I will NOT order from this store again as result of the problems for damn near 100$ with all the bullshit fees was outrageous as is but to screw up the order like that & require a trip to hospital yeah NOT good read more

Great subs, staff is great, but management asked to do them a solid after they closed and reopened by passing cards out at my work so I did trying to help. He was nice enough to give me a gift card then when I tried to use it he decided not to accept the card he gave me. So I paid for the subs left a tip and his card .... Usually me and my husband are frequent firehouse customers after going to the 24 hour fitness in the plaza except the last 2 visits (without my husband) I've been constantly hit on by the owner ROMIRO or ROMERO not sure exactly. He made me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE & VERY UNSAFE at his business. The reason why firehouse even gets any stars is because of their employee Davey! I pre ordered a sandwich since I work on the east side of palmdale and needed to go to bank, I figured it would be perfect and all I had to do is pick it up. Well to my surprise when I got there to pick up my sandwich the young lady stated we don't have an order for you are you sure it went through then she called over the owner and he was like oh did your card go through? I said yes I was charged and got a email receipt at that point his answer should have been oh since we didn't get the ticket but since you have a receipt let us make it for you! Well NO he basically said to call my bank to dispute the transaction so now I'm livid so I asked for a corporate number or customer complaint and he showed it to me and walked off! I went to my car and called the number as I was on hold Davey ran to the car and said we found your ticket I can make your sandwich I said I'm on lunch he said please give me 3 minutes I said ok Davey you have 3 minutes he made my sandwich and brought it to me and gave me a card to come back for a free sandwich on another day the owner should be thankful for employees like Davey because of him I'll be back but to the owner you should be shamed of his self and the way he conducted business because that was horrible! There are plenty of parking spaces. Atmosphere, perhaps, it's because of summer, or the inexpensive choices, there were too many children there. That's like very annoying and I was not going to eat there. Food, I ordered a small Firehouse Steak and cheese with mushrooms. Portion is extremely small. I have seen how they heat up the meat and cheese, in the wax paper. Ergo, the meat and cheese gets moisture. Mushrooms are 50 cents extra. Hmmmm, ok. My bottom of the sandwich was soggy and coming apart. That's a big no no for me. Waiting time was ridiculous for a sandwich shop. Will I come back? I'm not sure. Since there are other options and I don't like the fact how they heat up the meat and cheese. read more

I had always like firehouse. Before it closed it was pretty expensive higher than subway. And before it closed they were out of soda and inside was dirty. I came in 3/3/20 and prices are reasonable and it was clean. I am glad is open again. read more
