    Prime Rib Dip

We were in Burien with some friends and wanted to grab lunch and ended up here. We had heard about it before but never been, but certainly glad we stopped in! Service was good, the vibe is fun, and overall a pleasant experience. I ordered the Prime Rib Dip and subbed a 1/2 wedge salad instead of fries. The sandwich was good and I enjoyed the meat very much! The wedge, just "ok" and I think, after talking with others at the table, the reason it wasn't as good as I have had before was the dressing. While the lettuce was fresh and all the toppings were as expected, the dressing could have been thicker. I would also say quarter the tomatoes. Perhaps it's just me being picky but I have had a better wedge. If you are looking for a place to eat, this is it! They even have brunch on the weekends, which looked good too!

Came in for the happy hour as needed an old fashioned cocktail. We remember it being real good and headed to Fireside. Definitely can tell that there is a vibe of regulars from how the staff reacted to regular patrons. My wife ordered an old fashioned, and I got a manhattan (both made with the same Nickel Rye). Neither drink hit the mark, and honestly, both were pretty weak. I've had dozens of each around town, and these felt way lighter on the whiskey than most places. I don't get why some spots short-pour the spirits. The better bars make them strong and let a big rock slowly open them up, but these came out already watered down--like they'd been shaken with crushed ice or something. Food is good, the whiskey bar side needs some improvement ...

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all exceptional. Really friendly staff. It's quite dark and intimate inside. Legit smash burgers!

Surprised I havent review this place. I've been here a few times with friends. Service is always so nice and friendly! The food are so yummy and the drinks are strong. The most recently visit I was just grabbing a quick drink with my friend and I grabbed a French onion soup. So good and really filling for the size. I love coming here, it's so welcoming and over all a great atmosphere.

Leftover chicken Parm from fireside to greet my girlfriend at the airport. We always share entrées.

This is a super cozy spot great for a date, great for just stopping in to get a quick bite before a show or an airport run. Beer is cold, service is great! I go for the smash burgers, chicken parm, and a cold beer. FIreside Burien gets My highest recommendation it's a must stop and one of my main go to's in the greater Seattle area!

Just simply fantastic place to hangout with friends. Perfect weather for outside seating and with so funny, witty, attentive, friendly server I ever met. We went here's to enjoy my last couple hrs in Seattle with a friend and games of gin before my flight back to home. The drinks are fantastic with decent price. The burger & salad are delish and freshly make. Overall, love love this place and I will come back again next time I'm back to Seattle for sure.

    Double Smash

Had some time to kill before heading to the airport so decided to get something to eat. This was actually one of the few places open at 9pm on a Tuesday in this area. Bar atmosphere. Dim ambient lighting. They had some TV's with the MLB playoffs playing. No audio though. Decent table sizes. Fit our party of 7 no problem. Service was friendly and great. They had a few beers of draft. I got the fireside IPA. It was decent. Double smash (3): Not much to this one. Couple patties with cheese. Bun was soft. That's all it was. Patties were decent, but nothing to write home about. Got a side salad with it which was decent. Oklahoma Onion Burger (4): This was better than the smash burger! The onions gave it a very nice flavor. That smash burger was simply meat and cheese. They charred this one the same way too. Skip the smash and get the oklahoma. Chicken Pot Pie (4): This was decently sized and flavorful. Crust was nice. Entire table shared this and everyone enjoyed it. Kids plain cheeseburger (4): I was amazed that my daughters burger was basically the same size as my smash burger at half the cost! Same ingredients too. I'm getting the kids burger next time. Overall, decent joint for some food and drinks.

There was not too many people and we got served right away by the bartender. They have some cool unique cocktails. I got the first one, which is a custom gin cocktail for about $15. I usually cringe at cocktails over $12 but this really was worth the $15 price tag. It was so balanced and nicely flavored and had a good strength. The place has bar seating and booth seating, and televisions all over showing football, wrestling, and more. They have a mini wrestling ring at the front, which is fun. I bet this place is so fun when they have special events. In the back they also have pinball, of course! And board games. The wall is covered in art and wrestling memorabilia which adds to the ambiance. We sat at the bar for a bit and the other guests were nice too - chatted with us, chatted with the bartenders. The speakeasy-style entrance sets the tone right away--very prohibition-era vibes, a little mysterious, and definitely part of the charm. It's the kind of place you half expect to need a password to get into. Once inside, the ambiance really delivers. Dim lighting, cozy atmosphere, and a menu that leans into that classic cocktail culture without feeling overdone. The drinks are genuinely solid--well-crafted, balanced, and surprisingly fairly priced for the quality. What really makes this spot stand out, though, is the live jazz. If you can swing a visit on a Sunday or Monday night, do it. The music adds so much character to the space and turns a casual night out into something memorable and a little transportive. Service was a bit slow during our visit, but honestly, it made sense--there were only two people running the entire place. Even with that, they stayed friendly and composed, which says a lot. It didn't take away from the experience, just something to be aware of if you're in a rush. Overall, The Alley is a gem--great vibes, great music, and great cocktails. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different in West Seattle.
