I can do my own maintenance but due to time restrictions, I decided to have two vehicles serviced here as it is located very close to my home. I called to ensure they had the tires I was looking for in stock (as the dealership did not have any in stock) and could service my other vehicle as well. Rob was extremely helpful and got both of my cars in and serviced very quickly (even without an appointment). One thing that I feel can be improved is that the employees must be under a lot of pressure to upsell when they service cars. For both of my cars, we received a call stating they had found things during the courtesy inspection. For one of my cars, it has been driven less than 14,000 miles and is only 1.5 years old, yet they told me that my battery was testing at 400 CCAs out of the rated 500 CCAs and needed to be replaced. Since I had an appointment at the dealership for the state inspection the next day, I declined and had it tested by the dealership. The dealership tested the battery at 519 CCAs out of the rated 500 CCAs. My hand-held battery tester tested the battery at 538 CCAs. When I looked at the Firestone invoice, I see that they tested the 500 CCA battery as a 645 CCA battery and it measured 508 CCAs. For the second car, they said the air filter was dirty and needed to be changed and could do it for 30.00 (a decent price for them to do it) but I knew the air filter had been replaced about a year ago. Again, I declined the replacement and checked my air filter when I picked up the car, it was a little dirty but nowhere close to needing to be changed, I vacuumed it with my shop vac and it is perfectly clean and looks brand new. read more

Now that I have my weekends off, I am super happy that this location is open from 9 AM to 5 PM. They are staffed less on Sunday, but I am happy that they take appointments. I made one on Wednesday and was able to get a 10 AM spot for my wheel alignment service and tire rotation and wheel balance. My vehicle has a wheel lock and it is good to see accountability from the office to the tech on signing off that they give back the wheel lock. If you lose the stock wheel lock they may have a tech to break it off but it is an additional cost and would require a master tech. Master techs are mainly in Monday through Saturday according to the front office employee. Dennis and Donna was very welcoming and looked very happy working. It is hard to come across a repair shop with staff who are happy to work on a Sunday. Upon arrival, they do offer a complete car check up for an additional cost which checks brakes, suspension/steering, exhaust, fluids/under hood area, and more or you can opt for a courtesy check which checks mainly under hood area and tire pressures for no charge! You can also agree to no inspection which is good if you are in a rush. I was promised to get my car back by 1:30 PM and I was updated about my air filter being dirty. I declined on the service but I will be back for more maintenance in the future. The alignment and tire services were FREE b/c I purchased the lifetime wheel alignment, as well as my Bridgestone Turanzas here. Warranty for services are covered at any Firestone location in the U.S! If you are a value shopper, I suggest to download the Firestone Complete Auto Care app to see the deals for service. I would get my oil change done here but I still have a deal with my dealer for services. Prices are relatively fair and coupons make them unbeatable to the competition. I did not enjoy the fact that it took 5 hours to patch a tire & no ones called me to tell me my car was done. The man was very brief and did not even phrase things as questions. He would be like "zip code, address? Okay." When I arrived for my Appt there were no stalls, probably 5 people waiting on edge of the curb. Rating is a zero. After years as a customer, I will never have Firestone service any of our three vehicles ever again. I scheduled service to have front brake service, oil change and safety inspection. Our appointment was at 10am. We received a call at 3:46pm from the technician stating they could not pass our safety inspection because the brake indicator warning light was on. After some discussion with the technician we decided to pick up our vehicle to take it to the dealership to check the warning light issue. So, thinking front brakes were serviced and oil change complete with no clear safety check, we go back to Firestone. As we are paying for the service the technician quotes us $114. What!! For brakes and oil change? Technician says oh, we didn't do the brakes. Now mind you it's after 4pm. Car has been there since 9:45am. I said WHAT!! We scheduled the brakes because Firestone recommended brakes had to be serviced before next safety inspection. Needless to say my husband and I were not happy. We paid the $114 and left. As we drive off we notice our Air-Con is only blowing hot air. We turn around and go back walk in and tell the technician our Air-Con is no longer working. The tech comes out to check. We ask to speak with the manager. Tech says manager left for the day. We said we want it fixed immediately. He calls the manager Robert Miyata (poor kid, the tech who has to deal with us at no fault of his doing), tech proceeds to say manager said aircon was not working when we brought in vehicle. I said yes it was and we want it fixed. We are pissed at this point. So here's how the manager decided to handle the situation, he told the technician to tell us Firestone will no longer service us because of our behavior and they will not fix the aircon. I asked the tech to print out a copy of all our service records. Needless to say, we have a civil matter to deal with against Firestone. Note: we had our Aircon serviced by Firestone in October 2022 which cost $1400+. Yea we feel really ripped off. Our car tires were on wires and Robert had a booked schedule that day, but Robert took the time to not only to get us in and fixed but, he also drove the extra mile to another shop to pickup the tires needed for our car because he did not have them at the service location. The service here was utterly confusing and unpleasant. Without an appointment, I went in and needed a safety check for my car. The employees there said that they were 'booked' and they could do the safety check in a 2 hour wait. However, another employee interrupted and said that it was doable in 1 hour. It was considerate, but their store was completely empty with no customers. The worst part of my experience was the fact that the service inspector was on his device for approximately 45 minutes while I was waiting for service. I could have saved so much time if that individual got on his feet and started working, instead of having me wait for an hour. They then proceeded to perform a safety check on our car. Will not be coming here again!! We had an appointment at 9 to do our alignment & change our tires when we dropped off our car we were told it would take a hour to hour half for the tires to come in. We didn't hear from them so decided to call at 2 to find out the status of our car... they said the tires just came in and they are behind so will be working on our car next. It's 4:30 and our car is just finishing up. I think if someone makes an appointment days in advance wouldn't you have the tires on hand instead of waiting till that day to get the tires. Dillingham and Pearl kai location has been my go to if I needed services. But today I called Pearl kai location to do service and alignment balance for my van. I bought my Firestone destination Le3 way back In January of 2022 about 3 months. But this guy service advisor his name start with "J" told me and not honoring the 12 mos. warranty standard wheel alignment. And mentioned that I have to buy another lifetime alignment. If I wanna do another alignment which is clearly stated on my receipt record 12 mos. warranty. Even do I bought the tires from Firestone but on different locations which is dillingham. If I could give zero stars I would. They are very unprofessional. Their customer service sucks, and their manager Robert is very unprofessional. I will not be back for sure. My safety check got stolen from my car. They told me I could get my stolen safety sticker at anytime. All I needed to do was come In and get it. So as instructed, I did. I came in and that was not the case. They told me that I would need to make an appointment with them first, and that there wouldn't be an appointment available for another 3 days. The girl in front gave me an attitude, so of course in return I did the same. That following Tuesday(today) I came in as told. I asked to speak to a manager. He said he spoke to me on that previous Saturday about the situation. Not ONCE did he come in to speak to me about the situation. In fact the girl in front was going back and forth between him and I. He's delusional to think that he spoke to me that day. Cause I would've gave him a earful if I spoke to a "manager". I only spoke to the woman in front. He said you were upset. I told him "yes I was. Because of the situation they had put me in." He came in and gave me the stinkest attitude. Did not apologize for the mistake, said it would take an hour to do my duplicate safety check and continue to go on and say that I could go to another Firestone if I didn't like the service here. I told him that it shouldn't take longer than an hour to do a safety check. He pulled up my last visits and said "oh, look you've been here longer than an hour for safety checks and services." I've waited longer than an hour for a tire change. I should've took that as a sign to not come back if it takes a professional longer than an hour to change my tire. One of the many worse experiences I had here at Firestone just trying to get my tire fixed. I made an appointment thinking that when that time came Firestone would be working on my car, but unfortunately I still had to wait an additional hour to just have them work on it, not to mention that the inside seating area couldn't hold many people in there as well so I had to wait outside. I got no information as to when they'd work on it or anything when handing over my keys so that was quiet awkward I felt. Anyway all in all they had a below average customer service and the experience itself. The fact that I wasn't kept in the loop on everything as to why they couldn't take my car right away and what made everything take so long I felt it was pointless to even make an appointment, especially if at that scheduled time my vehicle wasn't even being taken cared of let alone in their work area. Definitely won't be coming back to this specific Firestone. Come at your own risk and if you got things to do I suggest going elsewhere or to at least keep that in mind. For everything to be done it took about 2hrs not to mention they didn't even really do anything they didn't even have my tire in stock nor did they do anything besides stating the obvious that my tire was punctured which I had mentioned prior to making my appointment. You would assume they'd have all that squared away while booking the appointment and before I came in; I guess it's true common sense isn't to common. Recently replaced 4 tires at Firestone, requested that they perform my lifetime wheel alignment. 4 hours later they contacted me and told me that they are unable to perform the wheel alignment due to my inner tie rod and outer front passenger side bearing needs replacement. the y sent me an email which quoted the repair for labor and parts just under $1,000.00. I informed them to just do an quick check of the alignment, because I would do the bearing and inner tie rod later. they refused to do my alignment check unless I perform the work. I went down and got my truck back and drove over to another brake and alignment repair center and told them to check my bearing and inner tie rod and perform alignment, 1 hour went by and they contacted me that alignment done and they could not find any problems with my front wheel bearing and inner tie rod. I know time are tough, but to start ripping customers off to get jobs is totally wrong, so I'm writing this to notify others of this kind of Tactics Firestone across Pearlridge shopping center is doing. I don't blame the workers, but would blame the management for allowing these types of Tactics to continue. I have heard others customers make similar complaints. The alignment shop manager who did my wheel alignment knows of this from other customers, he also said he feel sorry for the females that get caught by this kind of Tactics because they had the Lifetime wheel alignment and have to pay thousands to do repairs that were in question. read more

Sometimes it's difficult to call a business during the day due to work and life. It's so awesome to be able to book an appointment online! I booked online for an oil change and Safety Check. You can't book a Safety Check online because it depends on if someone is available to do it but you can write a note to them requesting for one. I did that and got both done at the same time! Yay!! I dropped my car off and decided to go to lunch with my boyfriend. Before we were even done eating, I was told my car was already ready for pick up! Less than an hour! Whoohoo!! Poor customer service. You can never get them on the phone. I was asked to be put on hold and waited 20 minutes before hanging up and calling them back. After trying three more time I gave up and drove up there. They definitely don't want your business. I won't not take my car here because you can't expect them to pick up the phone to schedule an an appointment or check on the status of your vehicle. I bought the lifetime alignment and got one alignment after I purchased it. The next time I went in for the purchased life time alignment, they told me I needed a new right front wheel bearing and tie rod. I'm not a novice and have had my Yukon up on lifts and am familiar with the status of the undercarriage. Three years after they told me I needed to replace the wheel bearing and tie rods, my Yukon is fine. My Yukon only has 65,000 miles on it. My previous Yukon, I replaced a front wheel bearing at 230,000 miles... in my garage. It's sad how many repairs are deceptive. If you can find an honest mechanic, spread the word to expand their business! read more

They do a thorough check and tell you what needs to be done. Great staff here and Pearls is right across the st. I usually walk around while my car is gettin done. I live in Kalihi and travel all the way here to get my car done. They do all oil and fluid, brakes, suspension and everthing. "ill be back" O I paid 169.99 for the lifetime alignment. You can come as much times and when you like. The deal stands as long as you own the same vehicle. My car is getting pretty old & now that it's been about 10 years and the mileage over 130,000+, I've encountered more issues than I'd like. Thankfully this auto shop is located near my full time job in Aiea & if I ever need to leave it to have some work done, it has always been ready for pick up when I'm finished. I love their hours & how convenient it is for me to not let car problems interfere with my needing to be at work. The staff here is extremely professional & very thorough with explaining what needs to be done and showing your estimate. They offer you options/honest recommendations and they never come off ass "overbearing" or "pushy" to do more than what's needed or more than what you want. They're also very prompt with communicating. I've used to only take my car to the dealership for safety checks, servicing, or if I run into problems but I'm glad that I gave this place a chance. I am not happy at all with my experience with Firestone. First of all I came in because I had a nail in my tire. It was towards the later part of the day. Dropped off my truck around 4 PM. The person I gave the keys to said it'll take a couple hours. Went home and decided to come back around 615 PM. Upon arriving I see that the mechanic just taking my old tire off. So I just waited. Didnt get my keys until a little past 7 PM. So a 30 minute job was estimated to take 2 hours but actually ended up being 3 hours. But oh wells. They did it in one day so I couldn't be too mad. But what really pissed me off was that when I got home and inspected my rims/tires I come to find scratches on my rim which definitely came from the mechanic putting the wheel on or off the machine for them to install/remove the tires. It is clear scratches from them because I have black rims and the scratches are right next to the bolt holes. Attached is a picture of the obvious scratches. I had an appt scheduled in the middle of the morning. I waited for about 1.5 hrs and still my car was not attended to. It was a simple thing to check on a problem. I guess it will be helpful to take my car in first thing in the morning when they open. So be ready for a possible long wait if you go in to take your car in the middle of the morning or possibly in the afternoon. It might've been a busy day that day. read more

Staff is slow. Reputable brand "FireStone" sold crap quality tires to me. Associate said tire had a manufacturer warranty, and a tire repair would cost a flat repair of about $25. You would think this tire would have lasted at least 10,000 miles out of it's 65,000 mile warranty. So I passed on road hazard coverage. Not even a month goes by, rear passenger tire keeps losing pressure and my TPMS light keeps going off. I go to fire stone as early as I knew they opened (apparently this place opens up even earlier than it's stated online opening time), and they're already busy, on a Thursday. I told the one associate my situation. He tries to upsell me a $35 tire repair job, then he goes down to a $25 tire repair job? Anyways I waited an hour and a half only for them to tell me that the tire is unrepairable and I would need a completely new tire. It takes them a 1 hour & 1/2 to just find that out. No thanks. I'm not paying another cent for another crap tire and service. Complete money grab. I probably was better off getting a Costco membership just for their quality tires than having to deal with all this. (Unrelated, but there was a customer before me who says they did a fuel flush/clean and they did the job wrong and made his engine malfunction light come on and made him do a diagnosis for their own mistake. Seems like they overbook appointments. I brought my car in on a Sunday at 12pm (I had an appointment) for a battery replacement and alignment. Guy says he doesn't know how long it'll take, but they close at 4. I called at 3:45 asking if my car would be done - guy said they're finishing up and reminds me they close at 4. I show up at 4 and SEE MY CAR BEING DRIVEN in to get serviced. Ended up waiting 40 minutes before I got off the lot. If I'm going to pay bloated prices for service, at least give good service - it shouldn't take nearly five hours WITH APPOINTMENT for a battery replacement and alignment, "we're busy" isn't a good reason.
