Worst place there is. Do not give this location any business. Took my truck in to have a screw removed from my tire and decided to have them rotated and balanced while I was waiting. After speaking with them and going over everything, they said that the tire had been patched and is good to go. I should have checked before leaving. When I arrived at my next location the screw was still in my tire. After going back, they said that they must have missed that one. There was only one screw in the tire in the first place. Unexceptional. This location is a joke and something needs to be done, especially after seeing all the negative reviews. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I truly wish I didn't have to tap a star at all. I told these people I just need one tire on the RR. I look out into the shop and lo and behold they are under my hood!!!! I'm like WTF are they doing under the hood when I said one tire please!! He said "Oh, well check the battery and filters " I'm pissed now because I'm on my lunch break. And now he wants to sell me an air filter that cost $$$ when I can get it on Amazon for $. My thing is if I wanted all that stuff checked I would have asked. I brought my car in today and I'm not sure what is happening at this location. I've always have a great experience with top notch customer service. Today it was not that. I waited hours for someone to look at my car only to find out that they were waiting for me to return a call because they wanted to do a test drive. I was waiting in the lobby and no one ever called me. After finally conducting the test drive the mechanic told me that I had a cable issue but he was very vague as to what that meant when I asked him questions. We returned to the shop and I waited another hour when the manager asked which car was mine. Turns out the mechanic went on his lunch break and just left me waiting. Nothing was done to my car. I experienced very poor customer service and extremely poor communication to me and among the staff members. read more

I came in today because for headlights service. I requested an appointment yesterday and they apologized and said we don't have anything today but we have something tomorrow. I got there as soon as they opened for the first appointment. Everyone was really nice. Finished pretty quickly. Price was reasonable. I was finished and back home in less than an hour. I took my car to this shop because it is located close to my house and it was listed as a preferred business on my extended warranty. I only needed an oil change, but they found one of my tires had a knot on and and it had to be replaced. I agreed that they could replace the tire for me. They didn't send me any info on the tire as it was handled through my warranty company at 100%. I picked the car up, looked at the tire that I thought they replaced, and everything seemed fine. My extended warranty covered the services and I didn't receive a bill. I drove two miles home and parked my vehicle. The next morning when I was checking around the car, I noticed that the tire they replaced didn't match the existing three. I have Michelin and the replacement was Firestone. Being that my car is only a little over a year old and quite expensive, it was unacceptable. This given the fact that I had not been asked if it was okay, neither verbally or via email. I had received no notification. I immediately drove the car back to Firestone and asked them to remedy the situation. The manager acted like a jerk and told me they don't take used tires back. I explained that it was their mistake, I wasn't notified, and that a mismatch on this type of almost new car is totally unacceptable. At first he blamed the mistake on me, then on my warranty company. He then said that everyone has mismatched tires on their cars. He told me that he has a $55,000 car and he has mismatched tires on it. (I didn't check his car, but I suspect he does not!) I was flabbergasted that any businessman would treat a customer the way he treated me. I stood my ground, and he finally agreed to replace the tire with one that matched my existing tires. He insisted on keeping the car, as I was not allowed to drive it and wear the tire further. Not only was this extremely bad customer service, but I had to secure a rental car so that I would have transportation. The ordeal caused me my time, a great deal of frustration, and the cost for a rental! read more

We took our vehicle for an oil change. The oil filter was not replaced properly, which caused oil to leak and the engine to lock. After being given the runaround from Firestone for over a month, they are refusing to replace the engine and are opting for us to take a check to use as a down payment on another vehicle. We were forced to get a rental. Another vehicle with a payment is not in our budget. Do not use this location -- Better yet, do not use Firestone for any of your vehicle services. read more

Got a patch up, and my rim was returned looking like this. Staff worker to me, the white substance was from what they used to patch the tire up. The manager brushed it off and said it's not their fault. I showed him these photos as well. Of course, he would say that. There was no accountability. He was out of out of town when this happened. This happened a week ago. He said he wanted to look at my rim but instead took photos of the other rims for what? They also left my hood up when they had no buisiness under my hood.The other rims have nothing to do with the one your employer left looking like a mess. Everywhere the substance is the scrapes and scratches are too. Something clearly happened. I never had issues with the Dunwoody location. Can't trust this location. Manager-Nicholas Grisworld only cares about covering his ass and his worker was negligent on the repair and removing the substance from my rim. What goes around comes around. I can't believe such a simple job turned out like this. This is RESICULOUS! UPDATE: manager closed yhe case and tire was not fixed. Slow leak is still ongoing. They are neglent at this location and so is the company if nothing is done about this. A refund is needed. See photo below read more

Probably one of the worst oil change experiences I can remember! I was so excited to book an appointment on their app, it's very nice and easy to use. I made the appointment for 5, but left work early and we made it a little before 4:30. They took us early which was great, but it took me obnoxiously waving to the employees for a few minutes for them to come inside from the garage to greet us, other people were waiting as well. The employees I had to flag down were not working on cars and were very clearly having a long and chill conversation. We waited what felt like forever, but they did have coffee. During that time employees came in and out, one guy was nice and made conversation. One just stared at everyone waiting while they walked to the bathroom, then as an afterthought said "Y'all need anything?" Or something like that. YEAH, MY CAR! lol My receipt says our time in and out was 4:27-6:17, which is ridiculous for an oil change and "car inspection". My boyfriend stepped out for air and said 4 employees were standing around talking and didn't move until they saw him come out and look at them. YIKES. Customer service is not what it use to be AT ALL. I'll stick to Express or Take5 honestly. Maybe it's just this location, but it but a sour taste in my mouth for Firestone. A plus was that the coupon I wanted to use didn't match the oil my car took, but they still found a coupon for me! Oh, and my oil change light was still on afterward as well, so I have to get that turned off. Hopefully the work was actually done! read more

Very disappointed with this Firestone overall. The reviews are all true I would avoid this place like the plague. Went in for a simple oil change and maintenance. Got home and found my old taillight next to the gear shifter with cracks in it ready to shatter and cut my hand at any moment. I also looked at the invoice and I saw that my battery needed to be recharged. That would've been nice to know when I payed or even better during the two times they called me to let me know they are going to do more work and charge me more! The worst brake job ever done on any of my cars. They supposedly changed the rotors and pads after which the car developed a vibration and endless screeching noises that were absent before they worked on the car. Took it back several times only to be told that there was nothing wrong with the car and that the noise and vibrations will go away after a while. The problem has exacerbated. Their customer service is worse than the so-called work they did on my car. I do not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Needed a new battery and terminal connector (it had corroded). Didn't have an appointment, but they fit me in same day, were able to get parts delivered and finish the job within a few hours. NO UPSELL ATTEMPT!! This was the best part, honestly. They did the job I asked for and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Good customer service. Couldn't ask for more. read more

Of course during one of the busiest weeks I've had in recent memory, my car gets a flat tire. It's like 100 degrees outside and I'm driving around with one tire with significantly less air than the rest. Granted, you couldn't see the different between tires. Since I had just moved here, I wasn't all that familiar with the various auto care places that could plug my tires. Luckily Firestone came to mind and there was one about 10 min from home so I made the trip over. This could have been a 4 star review but I ran into some customer service concerns. It turns out that one of my tires had a roofing nail in it and because of the way it hit the tire, the entire thing had to be replaced. Not an issue. In fact they were very busy and they were still able to get my tire replaced and my car back to me by the end of the day. That's some bonus points. The issue I had was when I was dropping off the car, I got lectured about how I should be doing regular maintenance on my car and I should really take my car over to the gas station to put air in the tire. Excuse me? My car is not low on air because I didn't maintain it. There is clearly one tire that has lower pressure than the rest (the car has a sensor) and it's your job at this point to help me out. I'm already paying you for everything. I don't need to be lectured. The work that I had done was great. They were quick, fast and efficient. Ultimately, they discovered the problem and fixed it. But please work on your customer service interactions. Maybe you'll have happier customers. read more

Horrible experience. I made an appointment for 9am to receive an oil change and wheel alignment. When dropping off my car, I was told it would be ready between 4-5p. I received a call around 1:30p saying my car had been inspected and would be finished soon. After that, I had to call twice at 4p and 5p for updates on my car. No one called to let me know what was taking so long. When I came to pick up my car, the alignment was not completed. read more

I took my car in for a broken radiator hose. 2 days later they call me to pick it up. I drive less than 1 mile and its overheating. I had to pull over. I had a nail in my tire and went in late in the afternoon without an appointment. Luckily, they weren't too busy and agreed to put me in line ( 2 other places nearby told me to come back tomorrow). Lala was the service rep and she told me it would take 90 minutes. The technician repaired my tire and also found a nail in another tire that I had not known about. Both tires fixed and 10 minutes early; cost $48. I was lucky there weren't many people ahead of me, but the staff was straightforward, honest, and helpful. I would use them again. read more

THIS REVIEW WAS FOR YHE FIRESTONE ON JONESBORO ROAD IN FOREST PARK!! Apologies for the error. So disappointed. I have been a customer for so long but the service has declined tremendously. I left my car on Sunday AM, at closing time I received a call that maybe it needed a water pump. I was told someone would call me on Monday. At 3pm, I had heard nothing, when I called to inquire, the associate on the phone knew nothing about my car awaiting repairs. This is not the first time this has happened. I called a second time to inquire whether my car would be ready before they closed and was told it would not be ready. So I then had to scramble and extend the rental car that I had to get on Sunday. This was an unexpected expense. When I went to pick up my car, I was apologized to by both the intake associate was not at work. This is the LAST TIME I will patronize this location. After being a faithful customer for so long, I am speechless. I will also share my comments with the Firestone corporate office. read more

I was unable to pick it up my custom car until Monday and they were kind enough to leave it inside the garage. I always bring my car here for minor repairs and I'm never disappointed. I was apart of the whole scene. I took a buddy of mine around lunch time to get his truck serviced for his big weekend trip. We left it there and return to our professions. It's about clock out time, 4 hrs later from the time of drop off and we head our way to pick up his truck. Come to find out they didn't even touch his truck. Gave them 4 hrs and nothing. If they aren't responsible with there customers time I could only imagine the type of quality of work held up in this place. Just terrible don't recommend if you value your time. read more

Mike Crunk is the store manager and he always provides thorough explanations that help me understand what's happening with my vehicle. Took my car there to get an alternator replaced. Asked specifically for an after-market alternator because I don't intend to keep this car (2012 Honda Odyssey) much longer, and asked for an estimate before any work was done. Mike called me back and said an after-market alternator woul be $500, and the labor would be about $300. Over $800 total. Ridiculous! A brand new alternator for a 2012 Odyssey doesn't even cost $300. Went to a different shop nearby, the entire job (parts and labor) was $450. Don't trust these guys!! read more

Look at the recent ratings of this place. Being going to this place for several years. Apparently, that is no longer important nor is the fact that I have spent thousands of dollars there. If you don't have an appointment, you don't have anything. I was the first person in shop this morning. I took the car in because the light indicated that the tire pressure need checking. I asked if they could check the tire pressure and put the car up on a rack to see if it had a nail in it. (We have had construction work on our street and I feared that I had a nail in the tire). I was told that would take 2 hours. Are you kidding me? I am the first person in the shop. "Well, we have all these other cars (cars held over from the previous day) in front of you and there are people with appointments" said Mike. 1) Why are so many cars being held overnight? 2) Look at the ratings this company has recently received. 3) Where is the loyalty for repeat customers? I called Kauffman Tire to see how they would have handled the situation. "We can get you in. No problem." Kauffman was a bit far and by the time I got there customers would already be in line, so I then took the car to Express Oil Change on Clairmont Road. James, a very friendly mechanic. said, "today with the cooler air we are going to get a lot of people coming in with this issue." He checked the tire by jacking the car up and there was no problem/no nail. Spent 10 minutes there. Friendly staff. There are other options out there my friends. Thanks Mike. Your sorry customer service and inflexibility caused us to take our four cars elsewhere. No need to send a coupon from headquarters. You need to address why there are so many complaints on here about poor customer service. read more

My first initial visit to this location went well. Several days after having wheel bearings on right passenger side repaired I started to notice problems with my car I didn't have initially. Issues with my brakes and tires. When I returned to speak to front desk regarding brakes he stated " the brakes aren't related to the bearings" this isn't true the brakes are related to the bearings. I have top quality tires on my car that are less than 1 year. After visiting this location I noticed a slow leak in 1 tire and I have another that I don't seem to be able to let the air out so they are balanced.while sitting in waiting area I noticed women coming back to complain of their repairs. I will not frequent this location again. I question if they have certified mechanics. The guy at the front desk is condescending to women and over talks you.If you are a female don't frequent this location.If you look at reviews on yelp it appears their service quality has gone down in the last year. read more

THE 1-STAR REVIEWS ARE TRUE! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! I will have to make another trip to this shop for the fourth time within the past two months. I have expressed concern about my brakes squealing for the past month since they've been replaced in March 2023. I hit a curb a few weeks after and started to hear a grinding sound. The second time I spoke with Lala, they informed me I needed an alignment. That did not help!! I went up a third trip and spoke to Mike and described in detail what was happening when I was driving. When they inspected it during a test drive, they stated it was normal sounds. Squealing when breaking on a flat road is not NORMAL! They had three technicians: Mike, Anthony, and Drevonte to look at my car. I have spent close to $950, and this is what they pull!! This business is money hungry and doesn't care about servicing its customers! I'm concerned that if this is not fixed it will affect another part of my car which I bet is what they want to make more commission! Disgusting! This location needs to be shut down and each employee mentioned FIRED! My life and safety are in jeopardy. read more

I used to have great service at this location, but after today, I will never go back here again. After my check engine light went on, I went to Auto Zone to get a report. Took 10 minutes. I then made an appointment with Firestone to check and hopefully fix what was on the report. I had a 12:00 appointment. When I got there, I gave them the report from Auto Zone. They didn't even move my car into the garage for an hour. After 90 minutes there, I asked what was going on and was told they'd check, but no one came back to tell me. Now, more than 2 hours after I first got there, I went to a different cashier, and she finally got me an answer. They gave me the exact same diagnosis that Auto Zone gave me, but it took them 2 1/2 hours to do it, they still didn't fix anything they said they would, and they wanted to charge me over $100! After I convinced her easily that that made no sense at all, they didn't charge me. What a waste of my time, and no apologies were given. read more

I agree with N.R. I had a coupon for an oil change. Turns out it didn't apply to my vehicle. Figures. $72. for an oil change. They informed me that I had two tires that needed to be replaced. $232. Then I was told that I had a slight "vibration." Well...slight vibration turned into MAJOR vibration so I returned to have it checked. "You need an alignment", they say. OK, fine...another $85. "BTW....your battery tests low. Probably should replace that, too!" "Aw HELLL NAW!" "What about the vibration"? "OH, it's still there...nothing to worry about." "Really'? "Did you balance my tires"? "No, that's $40. extra." So I took my car to Kauffman. They replaced a tire with a broken belt. One trip. $97. Free rotation, balance and warranty. Problem solved. If you don't want to keep bringing your vehicle here because things were missed the first time, Don't go to this place. i was also told I needed a certain part for my car to get it fixed but they told me they couldn't fix it because their vender didn't have the part. Well turns out I called one of their venders and they did have the part but would just take a few days to get in. They could have simply told me that instead of saying " we can't fix it" they did not TRY! Nor show effort. One worker telling me my speed sensor is bad the other worker telling me it should be fine! We had the wheels off of the car, had already confirmed that they had the tires in stock, and called ahead to confirm we could come in. It takes 20 minutes tops to put a tire on. Brought my Jeep here one day to ask them if they could help me get a lug nut off a tire that broke off. The mechanic came out and looked at the tire and spent five minutes basically telling me how stupid I was and how he couldn't believe someone would actually break a lug off of the tire. He said they might be able to help, but I'd be better off going to the dealer and having them drill it out. I went to auto zone, bought a $10 lug rescuer and used a friend's impact gun to remove the lug, no problem what so ever. I don't take my car to a shop to be told how idiotic I am and essentially laughed at. read more
