If you make an appointment online, they will literally NEVER actually confirm the appointment. So basically making an appointment online is useless. Made one for 8am, showed up at 7:40 and was told it would take 4-5 hours to an alignment because the online appointment was never verified by them. Apparently they have to call you to confirm it and despite making the appointment online 2 days before, they were somehow unable to call me to confirm or deny the appointment time. I couldn't stay because I have work this afternoon. And now there are no other free times for me to go. This place is inconsiderate and unprofessional. This place is awful with appointment management. I had an oil change scheduled for 10AM. I showed up on time and waited in line for 25 minutes before even speaking to a clerk. The phone also rang multiple times while I was standing in line and they just let it ring out for half the calls. I heard one of the workers say they would start working on the 2 walk-in issues from the people in front of me in line. Finally I get to the clerk to check in and am told it will be an hour and a half wait at least. I can't dedicate half my day to sitting in a mechanic shop for an oil change. What can I say other than horrendous customer service. I arrived here at noon on A Sunday and was told since they were busy it would be around 3 hours for an inspection. Ok no problem dropped my car off and went home. 3 hours later no update. Have them a ring which takes quit some time to get someone to answer and they still hadn't even started on my car..... I was advised now it would be ready at 4 Called an hour later and no response 6:30 rolls around and they finally call me Ok look I have no problem with waiting but please give an accurate time so I can plan my day around it So when they finally call my car failed inspection because I need 4 new tires. No problem this can be fixed however the blatant ripoff they tried to pull on me just because I'm female is absolutely unacceptable.... First it started with you have special tires..... Um last time I checked I have generic 16" oem tires Then Peggy gave me the I called everywhere to find you such a great deal speal Oh btw that great deal??? Close to $700 for tires and labor WHAT?!! Even I'm not that dumb if you think you're going to pull one over on me like that. The same base 16" tires you were trying to sell at $ 130 a pop were in the $55-$70 range on tire rack tires direct and google shopping. You know maybe if you were honest with me I might have given you my business but since you were not I bought the same tires online and had them installed for under $300. I normally never have had any issues with Firestone, which is why I continued to go there, but... Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Simple, or I thought it would be. Dropped it off and I was advised they would call me when it was finished. I called about 3pm just to double check, the guy who answered said they were working on it as he is speaking to me and to just come before 7pm. No problem. I arrive at 630pm the cashier is the only one there, and she hands me 3 lug nuts and my wheel lock key, tells me that they broke it when they tried to remove the 4th tire and I am only being charged for 3 tires that they rotated. I asked her why noone called me to discuss this during the day, she had no answers but told me to call my dealership to order a new wheel lock. so I had no choice but to leave because she couldn't help me. Drove off with 3 lug nuts in my hand not on my tires because they broke 1 on my tire and the lock. The lack of communication from this shop is poor and the safety of their customers is clearly not a priority. Needless to say I had to spend more money than expected to get the lug nut broken off from my tire and it wasted my time as well. I will not be going back to any Firestone. I heard many people say they are pretty crappy but I didn't want to believe that. Live and learn. read more

I called around for about three days looking for a place to get new brake pads put on. I finally just went to these guys as everyone was about the same price. They took my keys with promises of getting the inspection ALONE in an hour and a half. The man then went outside "looked" at my tires while my car was still sitting right in front of the door, and then proceeded to tell me that I would need a complete overhaul of my brake pads and roters, on both axels... which would cost about 600 dollars. He told me that the roters were too thin and would have to be replaced no matter what (THIS IS WITHOUT ANY INSTRUMENTS). He did not use a micrometer, which is the only sure way to even judge such a thing, he just glanced. Needless to say, I left then and there. I went to JustBrakes instead, they took my wheels off and actually inspected my brakes, walking me through what was wrong with them. I only had one roter that needed replacing, and the others were fine. I walked out of there happy and with a lifetime warranty for parts, service, and labor on my brake pads. read more

First visit was incredible. I came in with a a flat tire/doughnut spare at 6:45 on July 3rd, 15 minutes til the 4th of July holiday. They still had a backlog of jobs to finish up, but the guy (Joaquin, I think) added me to the list anyway, even after he noticed that another of my tires was low on tread and I would need two. Two guys stayed half an hour after close just to get tires on my car. Couldn't be more impressed. Second visit also good. I got an oil change, which was quick and well-priced, then got an estimate on some suspension work I need done. The estimate came in at about $200 more than a quote I got for the same work at Rush Automotive in Round Rock. Bottom line: fantastic customer service, great for routine maintenance, maybe a little too pricey for more involved work. Also, they're regularly very busy, so I'd suggest calling ahead and trying to schedule an appointment for the next day. read more

Caught a flat last night and wouldn't be able to get to any shops before they closed. Called Firestone since its hours are 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and conveniently located very near me. Rep said they had my size tire and could get seen first thing in the morning (important as I needed to travel and the sooner I could get service the less late I would be). Arrived at 6:50 AM to sit in the parking lot and be the first one in and get on the road. They couldn't even bother to actually be open on time. I waited ten minutes and all the lights were still off, doors locked, and no cars arriving. Didn't have time to wait so I left and went to a tire place who was actually open and ready to conduct business during the times they advertise being open. The store manager Moy is very kind and helpful. He really tried to help me save money and provided great service. Discount Tire charged me $200 for two tires while Moy quoted me $130 for the exact same tires. He also did a free check and found problems with the fluid system in my car. Instead of pushing me to replace the system that would cost $1500, he offered me a free temporary solution. I appreciate his help!! read more

Disappointed in this shop today. I thought I just needed a simple tire repair. They usually do a good job here which is why I was willing to wait 2 hrs on my day off. After 2 hours was told they can't repair it and it would have to be replaced. I have insurance on my brand new tires, a policy that states the repair shop must call them to arrange payment for coverage of the tire. Firestone refused to call so nothing can be done today. I wasted 2 hours of my day off. It just would've been great if they could've initially checked it out and told me all this in 15 min instead of making me wait 2 hours for literally nothing. Also frustrating that they refuse to cooperate with my insurance, as the policy states. That's not top quality service to me. I won't be coming back to this shop anymore, which is sad because they normally do a good job. :( read more

These guys are amazing! I came in here 30 minutes before closing and close to tears because I had been in and out of autoshops the past couple of days trying to find out what was wrong with my car. They were so nice and agreed to stay later to figure out what was wrong (even though they were understaffed). I left in less time than i did the other autoshops with all problems (finally) solved. Mistakes happen, but terrible customer service is intentional. I'm an 8 year client with this Firestone and I am NEVER going back to any Firestone again. I am extremely disappointed, confused, and upset by the treatment I received this morning after my car needed to be repaired because of a mechanic's mistake. I took my car in for service (new starter, serpentine belt) 11/28. On 12/5 my car broke down . Upon inspecting the engine, a pulley and belt had completely come undone. I had my car towed into Firestone yesterday 12/7 for work and the technician said it was completely their fault and I would not be charged. He said the pulley was not screwed in properly and fell off. I did receive an apology but was told I could talk to Manuel, the manager, for a reimbursement on my towing. The technician (tech #2) this morning was rude and questioned why I wanted a reimbursement and wanted to charge me for the repair, even after the tech yesterday agreed to do the replacement at no charge. She was very very rude. Even after trying to explain the situation, she treated me condescendingly like I was being a princess. I expected Manuel to apologize or ask me questions to clarify the situation, but he could even be bothered to walk over to us, or look me in the eye, and also refused to take a reimbursement for by Uber ride. It's understandable that they need a paper receipt, but I also understand that it's pretty easy for them to print my receipt if I sent it to their email at their office (which I have already been to three times and missed 5 hours of work at this point) with their printer. They merely both brushed the situation off as "not their fault, because the tech yesterday didn't leave a note." I'm so so disappointed and I will never be going to Firestone again. read more

I took my car to the Firestone on Northcross Dr. for an alignment issue while driving across country. After they test drove my car they printed out the alignment record and everything seemed like it was in good shape. $75 later I was ready to hit the road. As soon as I left the lot I realized my alignment didnt feel fixed at all.. it still pulled very hard to the right. Something they could not have missed during their test drive. I mean you change all four lanes on the freeway with this pull. I called the Northcross Firestone and they refereed me to another shop saying they were too busy and couldn't get me in for a few days. So, I went to the shop Clock Tower Dr. They told me that I had to "repack my wheelbarings" and it was a $350 repair. So, I said your the "EXPERT" Ill trust you that it would be fixed. Well, my car was not fixed. In fact the mechanic said that it wasn't any better and probably wasn't the correct diagnosis. But, the cashier was quick to get me out the door and $346.07 + $75 later I am stuck with a mis-diagnosed car that still pulls to the right. Thanks Firestone. I appreciate your "expertise" read more

We brought our 2016 vehicle for a brake check. We were told that all rotors were ground down and needed replacement. That didn't sound right, given the young age of our vehicle. We declined service, took it up the road to dealer to have rotors measured. The rotors were WAY within spec and the Firestone staff had clearly given bad info. I called and spoke to manager, Manuel. He was unapologetic, told me he needed to recheck the tools they use (um, a ruler?) and referred to me as "bossman" on the phone. We won't be back to this business. read more

I called around 7:30 am and talked with Steve about my situation. He asked me to come in as soon as I could and he would see what he could do. Scheduled an appointment online for an oil change, given it was the middle of the work day, I opted to chose "wait for car to be done". I went in at 7:45am to get two tires and an alignment done. There ere no employees inside. I was the second person in line waiting. I watched what turned to be the office people in the shop showing a mechanic something on his phone and they were all laughing. Meanwhile, another customer walked in. I made eye contact with both gentlemen and they proceeded to walk over to another mechanic and show his phone then start laughing. Then another customer walks in. Now there are four customers waiting to get help. Ten minutes later the two gentlemen come into the office, one walks into a back office and the other says "I'll be right with you" and does something on his computer. Clearly they don't want my business. I turned around and left. It's very unprofessional and disrespectful to look waiting customers in the eye to socialize with your coworkers. Went in for alignment to this location was told it'd be 3 hrs. Ok cool no biggy they're busy I get it. Get back a bit after 3 hrs car isn't even in yet have to wait another half hr close to an hr. Get home following day notice a new leak spot where only I park. Look under the car by the tire and noticed my boot to my rack and pinion that I had just replaced ripped from being manhandled. My wife began to panic when her truck wouldn't start and the manager talked to her over the phone to calm her down. I was in a meeting and couldn't answer my phone. I highly recommend them to anyone. Had an appointment for an oil change at 11 am. My car wasn't even pulled into the garage until after noon when they started telling me all of the other things that are "wrong" with my car. It had been to the dealer twice in the past six months and had been inspected, and during the oil change it was discovered that the tires I had replaced in 2012 were now "5 years old" and it was crucial to have them changed today too. The battery was going to be $170 for my little Chevy sedan. I was afraid to ask about the tires. Not going back. read more

Avoid the hassle, long wait times, and lack of adequate tire repair. I went to this Firestone on a Sunday to have a flat fixed. After 4 hours I purchased two new tires, had them installed, but the tires were not aligned. After having work done at the dealership I learned Firestone put the tires on the wrong locations. Went back to Firestone, another 4 hours and learned they took the easy way out on Sunday and that's why the directional tires were installed on the same side. Okay, not honest, not right, But it was easy for them. To make it better I was told the dealership should have fixed the tires. After telling them I needed them to fix their mistake and another 30 minutes I was told they stripped the key to my wheel locks. Luckily I keep the spare. DON'T GO TO THIS FIRESTONE. They deserve -100 stars but the lowest I can give is 1. Final point, I've been here 4 hours and 30 minutes and I'm still waiting for the tire rotation and alignment.
