This is a warning. All the bad reviews are genuine. I took my Jeep to this location, and they did a lousy job. My jeep needs a balancing and alignment on the front wheels. The quote was 169 dollars. I received a call saying that two log nuts were terrible and needed replacement. I say ok. I got a call about 30 minutes later. The mechanic told me they were having problems removing one lug nut. They need to use fire to remove it. I say ok. A couple of hours later, I got a call again, telling They need to use a unique tool to remove the lug nut. That some cosmetic damage might happen. I asked if I could still use the wheel, and the mechanic said it should be no problem and just cosmetic. The next day, I picked up the Jeep, and there was more than cosmetic damage. The Mechanic carved part of the rim to get the lug nut out. To make the story short, I was losing air in my tire. I had to take the Jeep to a small shop in an emergency. The guy where I took my Jeep removed the tire and told me, "Your tire is done. When he took the tier out, they bent the side of the rim. The mechanic tried to get the rim out and cracked it, and then they put the weight used to balance the tire on top of the broken rim. I called customer service and was told to email them what happened and a picture, which I did. A couple of weeks later, I received an email saying that after their investigation, they concluded that it didn't happen at their shop. They will pay me $80.00 if I sign a form and have a witness; they are not responsible for those damages. Please do the right thing, Firestone. I ended up paying $ 480.00 for a lousy job.

The difference in both pricing and customer service was remarkable. The dealership charged me $550 for an oil change, while Autohaus would have performed the same service for approximately $250. I also had my front and rear brakes replaced, along with an alignment, and saved well over $2,000 compared to the dealership's estimate. Gary and his team of highly skilled technicians did an outstanding job. Their expertise, honesty, attention to detail, and fair pricing are exactly what you hope to find when servicing a high-end foreign vehicle. The work was completed professionally, on time, and with excellent communication throughout the process. It is refreshing to find an independent shop that delivers dealership-quality service at a fraction of the cost. I trust Autohaus completely with my Porsche and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service on European luxury vehicles. Five stars are not enough. Thank you, Gary and the entire Autohaus team, for a truly outstanding experience!

They're always responsive, quick to answer questions, and great at keeping me informed throughout the repair process. Most importantly, the quality of their work is consistently excellent. I trust them completely with my vehicle because they're thorough, honest, and clearly take pride in what they do. On top of that, their shop is spotless and well organized, which really reflects their professionalism and attention to detail. It's not easy to find a repair shop that checks all the boxes, but this one truly does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality car service.

I can't say enough great things about Avondale Auto Repair, Nathan, Rick and their staff…read more As a first-time customer, I came in with what I thought was a simple issue--my 2017 Toyota RAV4 key fob suddenly stopped working. I'd replaced the battery before, so I tried that again... nothing. My (very mechanically inclined) husband tried too--still nothing. That kicked off the search for a replacement, and wow--what a frustrating experience. The dealership quoted me $600 to replace and program a new key. Automotive locksmiths were all over the place--$180, $250--and the whole process felt vague and transactional, like you couldn't get a straight answer without jumping through hoops. Then I found Avondale Auto Repair through the Costco Auto Program--and everything changed. Rick answered the phone, and within seconds I felt reassured. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. Instead of trying to sell me something, he explained the pros and cons--how aftermarket keys often don't last, and how they source directly from the dealer but can usually save customers about $100. No pressure. Just real, helpful information. When I came in, that same feeling continued. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming--nothing like the typical auto repair environment. Nathan (Rick's brother-in-law) was at the front desk and immediately made us feel comfortable. Friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Before recommending anything, he opened up my key and inspected it to confirm it wasn't just a battery issue. That alone told me everything--I wasn't being upsold. They were actually trying to help. Then Rick came back from lunch and did the same thing again, just to double check. I paid a deposit and they said they'd call once they got the key from the dealership. It took a few days. Even though they were short-staffed they week of my FOB order, Nathan handled everything with professionalism and kindness. He called three different dealerships to track down my key (since it was out of stock everywhere), coordinated the order, and made the whole process seamless. When I came back to drop off my car, even the staff helping me park were warm and courteous--it's those small touches that really stand out. We used to have a go-to repair shop nearby, but after a change in ownership, it just hasn't been the same. Now, we've found our new place. Avondale Auto Repair didn't just fix a problem--they earned our trust. And that's everything. That's how you do it, Nathan and Rick!

We had a pretty bad wreck that I was sure was going to mean thousands in body shop work. Elmer's team handled everything -- they replaced the damaged parts and did a fantastic repaint job that looks factory-perfect. The price was more than reasonable, especially compared to the crazy quotes I got elsewhere. They saved me a ton of money and stress. What really stands out though is their integrity. Elmer is extremely upfront and honest -- no upselling, no surprise charges, just straightforward advice and fair pricing every single time. When a part they had previously replaced ended up failing, they stood behind their warranty 100% and took care of it without any hassle. That kind of reliability is rare these days. If you want a mechanic you can actually trust -- one who treats your car (and your wallet) right -- look no further. Elmer and his team can fix just about anything, and they do it the right way. I've already sent several friends and family their way, and I'll keep doing so. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you Elmer!

(Another business couldn't look at it until Wednesday). They called to tell me what was wrong with the exhaust and my a/c compressor needed replacing. On two not so distance trips they told me both would need work, so I knew it was coming, just wasn't sure when. The repairs were finished by Friday afternoon, due to a part being shipped from another state. I think they were fast, courteous, professional, and honest. My friend recommended them to me and I am glad she did.
