A complete waste of my time! I came in right before 12:30pm today. It looked like a circus- a worker almost dropped a wheel stud on his foot, the lady at the front was running around- failing to acknowledge that I walked in while another guy who I found out was named Marcus was calling back a guest on speaker phone asking her what she wanted done to her F150 that she'd already dropped off because he "totally forgot"... anyways... all I was in for was a state inspection. I needed to get my registration done and the DMV can be unpredictable. To make sure they had time, before I was checked in I asked "what's the wait? An hour?" Marcus said "yea, or so" - I decided to stay, set my timer and wait! Twenty minutes later, another lady comes in. Same thing. No appointment. Signs up to get in line for a state inspection. She's actually greeted by the lady who works there, unlike me! Thirty five minutes later, the lady is being called up to get checked out! This is where I almost lost my patience because my car was sitting in the sun the entire time... they never even pulled it into a bay, had my keys behind the desk the entire time- no one even looked at it. I let them check out and then I just go to the desk to ask for my keys. Marcus then asks ME- "wait how'd she get out before you for a state inspection?" Question. Of. The. Day. After that, all I got was a "Sorry, I went to lunch! I don't know what happened." I'm not even mad at Marcus! There's no leadership or accountability here so I genuinely think he doesn't know any better. No excuse. Do better. I had such a great experience thanks to Nikki! I noticed all my tires had dropped to 25 PSI and I didn't know how to fill them myself. As a result of inappropriate and unprofessional behavior on the part of the service manager, Andy, and the lead technician, Arthur, which has been tolerated and encouraged by the store manager, Travis, I will no longer be recommending Firestone at Montfort as a preferred automotive service center. Travis sold me a set of 4 tires for my Mazda6. He charged me almost $1,400. I trusted him to give me a competitive price. I checked with Discount Tire and they priced a comparable set of tires for over $300 less. So Travis overcharged me for the tires. It is like he stole $300 from me and he is the store manager. Never buy tires from the Montfort Firestone store. They will overcharge you every time and not think twice about it. Absolutely despicable customer service. I have been a loyal customer and strong supporter of the Firestone Montfort store for more than 20 years. It is extremely disappointing to me that I now feel uncomfortable (and unwelcome) whenever I visit Firestone at Montfort. Last Wednesday, February 7th, for the first time in my 20 years as a customer of the Firestone Montfort stores, I filed a complaint against the store with Firestone Corporate Customer Service, and it was primarily due to the way Andy the service manager has continually mistreated and insulted me for a long time. I had finally reached my breaking point and was not going to tolerate Andy's abusive behavior any longer. Arthur, the lead technician, may have played a secondary role in all this. I had left more than 10 messages in the past 2 months, asking Arthur to call me and never received a return call. I had always gotten along well with Arthur in the past. I have a sneaking suspicion that Andy is somehow involved in my messages not getting through to Arthur. Andy is arrogant, rude, unprofessional, and doesn't know anything about how to deliver quality customer service. 3.3.2024 Update- Because I filed a complaint against this substandard Firestone store, the mediocre manager, Travis, is refusing to service my car. I bought the Lifetime alignment service, and this Montfort store screwed up the alignment, and now they are refusing to correct it. Another example of their "exemplary" customer service. Any customer that complains about their lousy service they will intentionally drive them away. This is the way Travis, the manager, handles customer service issues. 3.7.2024 Update- I shall never go back to Firestone Montfort. I should have stopped going to that store months ago. I found a new Firestone store that is 100 times better than Firestone Montfort. It's like dealing with a different company! Nobody like the jerks at Montfort, particularly Andy and Arthur, And the store manager is MUCH more professional than Travis, who is a stone-cold loser. 3.8.2024 Update- It took a while, but I figured it out. The reason Travis defends Andy's disgusting behavior is that when you dig below the surface, Travis the store manager has a personality and demeanor that is just as screwed up as Andy. Travis keeps this dark side very well hidden from customers, but it is there. They are both exactly the same type of screwed up individual, and believe me, that ain't no compliment. The past few months there has been ridiculously loud music coming from this firestone at like 3 in the morning on the weekends, including sunday night before work. Normally I don't care about stuff like this but I'm in an apartment complex next to it and it so comically loud it sounds like my next door neighbor is playing it at max volume. I needed to have my rear rotors and brake pads replaced. Initially, I went to the dealership to get a quote. After a 4 hour wait, they told me I'd have to wait an additional 2 days for the part to come in. At the advice of my manager, I called Firestone to get a quote and it was almost $400 cheaper. In addition, the staff was really accommodating and let me come in that same day to get my car fixed. My wheels came with wheel locks and they asked for the key to remove the lug nuts. I told them I didn't have it nor did I know what it even looked like. They took the time to explain what they were and what i options I had. Once we talked through it, they were able to proceed with the repairs and get me squared away. Car repairs normally give me anxiety but this was such a smooth process. I've taken my car to this Firestone location and used to swear by them. Recent visits have been a completely different story. Took my car there for an oil change and coolant service this week. Made the appointment a few days in advance and went over the very standard work I wanted done when I arrived, leaving the car all day while I was at work nearby. When I called at 3:30 to check on the work status, I was told that the coolant service wasn't on the work order and merely needed to be checked. I told them to do the work and ended up waiting there until 6 pm to get it done. The coolant reservoir was old and had cracks I'd repaired months earlier. Rather than source a new reservoir (a $50 part available just about anywhere), they removed the fixes I had in place, re-placed them, rendering them ineffective, and created additional damage that simply could not be fixed. Then they let me drive it away, knowing I'd be out of coolant in a short time. A 30-mile tow and $100 in parts and antifreeze later, I installed a new reservoir myself. The desk associate, Nicole, was awful. She couldn't have cared less. Blamed another associate for the miss on the work order, never apologized for the miss, and just couldn't be bothered by the situation. I didn't even get a thank you for spending $300 on an incomplete job. Never going back. read more

I called to book and the first thing he says is "oh I can't get you in for an hour and half at least". I said I'm calling to make an appointment for Sunday not today. He said "oh we can get you in on Sunday" and then hung up. I called back and said "hey I was just talking to you trying to book an appointment", thinking he was going to apologize for us getting disconnected and then proceed to book the appointment. Took my car here since it ran hot Sunday, so I left it there that night with them to work on it Monday. Finally get it back Tuesday & my car key is broke! I asked before walking out, did someone drop it or something? The key felt flimsy and not together. Of course, he said "no". Even included that he had it in the pouch the whole time to keep it safe. I get to my place & start to put the apartment key on... how about the remote portion of my key splits open?!?Called my Dealership and they said it will cost $180. Update this Morning on #Firestone : So they called me earlier this morning & was asking if I wanted 1 or 2 keys? I asked them to explain. So basically if i say 2, they can get me a new key. But the remote to unlock the car wouldn't be attached. So basically I'll have a key but can't unlock my car with a remote. If I say 1, they will have it together. I can unlock and drive my car. So of course I chose 1. -------------------------------------------- Recent Update 15 Min. Ago: So I get there after work. Mind you did not receive a call or anything all day that my Car Key was finished. Even though I was told last night that it would take 45 minutes. Then today the lady said she will call me as soon as it's finished. Anyways, I walked in and told her I'm here for my car. She asked me to explain the story. Looked at me, as if I was lie'n. This was an outstanding experience all around! My car started acting up, and since I'd just recently moved to the area, I did not have a 'favorite' mechanic anymore. But I needed to have the car fixed, and NOW! Took it to Firestone, and was instantly impressed by the high quality of service. First they performed a comprehensive diagnostic test, and then discussed the issues and different options for dealing with them. There were absolutely no 'high pressure' sales but just a reasoned discussion of what was needed to fix the car, including the minimum to make it safe. Prices quoted for the different services were very reasonable, and the estimated time for repairs was also. Because my home was close enough, the manager volunteered to drive me home rather than make me wait there for the repairs. When the car was ready, well within the estimated service time, the customer service was just as professional and efficient, there was no surprise charged, and the entire experience was pleasant. I am glad to have found this service center! I will be back for all of my automotive maintenance needs. read more

June of 2016 I came to this Firestone at 14010 Montfort. I had my wheels on my truck rotated. When I arrived at home, I noticed that the wheel lock had fallen off. Fortunately, I found it just a few yards away. They did good with the tire rotation except that they probably didn't tighten the locks well. July 2017. I went in to Firestone for rotation, balance, turn the tires from white wall letters to black wall. This time I removed the wheel locks myself and told the tech that the wheel locks and key are on the front seat of the vehicle. After the job was completed, I paid $68.06 and was on my way out. Before driving out of Firestone I realized that the wheel locks were not on the wheels; the wheel locks and key were left inside the truck. Also, I noticed that I was charged for "installer scrap tire recycling charge" of $10. I brought this to their attention and they quickly installed the locks and I was refunded the scrap tire fee. The truck got a tire rotation, getting rid of a tire was not required. Overall good service at Firestone. If you get charged Scrap Tire and they didn't actually have to discard a tire for you, check you receipt. I recall getting the same charge but at a different Firestone. Good job on the alignment. Came here for a simple oil change for my Mini Cooper. Had to come back twice for some mistakes the novice technician did to my car during the oil change. The minute I drove my car back home after the oil change, I almost felt my car's brake was not working at all! I had to step really hard in order to stop at the red light!! Almost got into an accident because of that. Headed back to Firestone immediately only to find out the guy that did the oil change apparently forgot to put back a hose or something like that. And after one day or two of the oil change, I have been seeing black oil leakage wherever i park my car, so I drove back to Firestone for the second time and they fixed it. But when I asked them how these tires are compared to all the other ones they said "People with more money buy better tires" It offended me.
