Everyone I talked to her was very polite and helpful. They provide good customer service while face to face or over the phone, but I have to question how honest they are. All before the price of labor, they wanted to charge me nearly $600 for a pack of 4 engine coils(I bought a pack of 4 new at autozone for $220, could've got new ones online for $20 a piece), and $80 for 4 spark plugs(I purchased a pack at Autozone for $45). I understand to expect a certain amount of up charge, pull double to triple seems crazy. I had other work that I was told I needed as well, but due what was mentioned I question the legitimacy. Beware! Don't go here!!! I've been going to this location for a few years to get my car serviced. In the past, I've gotten great service. However, the store seems to recently undergo changes and it's all new people working the counter. A month ago I brought my car for a nail in the tire and ended up spending $1000 for "issues" they found in the car unrelated to the tire. When I picked up the car, the guy behind the counter didn't even know about the nail! Shady Shady. I discovered a large dent in the car door but was told I couldn't prove it was them. A week later the cabin filter, which they insisted needed changing, fell out into the car (they had broken the panel) and it was filthy. Clearly put the old one back in after I paid for a new. I decided to give them another try simply out of convenience of the location and to let them fix the things they broke last month. Dropped the car off 8 AM (with an appointment!) called numerous times throughout the day to check on it. I was told it was "next in line" and then at 5:30 was called and told they didn't have time to get to it. The guy behind the counter was rude, unapologetic, and simply an a-hole. It's unfortunate because previously this was a great place to go. Now the new guys are shady and scamming people. I'll never go here again nor should you. read more

I should've looked at the reviews... There were a few gentleman inside the service area who were polite and professional. One even offered for me to come back and he would let me borrow his car because of the inconvenience. That is extraordinarily nice but he is not the manager nor the owner of fire stone. That was just a mechanic who deserves to be working at a more respectable place with a very kind heart. - Getting ahead of myself. So the reason someone offered me their car was because I came in for an oil change and gave concern about one of my tires that I purchased from there just a few months back. I would have expected a call if I needed to repair a nail. However the only call I received was the one to tell me to pick up my vehicle. That is when they decided to tell me there was a nail in my tire and it needed to be repaired. Not sure why they didn't call me while my car was on the block, it would've made more sense to repair the nail at that point. I would've gladly told him yes, please. Instead, I had to drive away from there with a freaking nail in my tire. Don't spend a half a day to get your oil changed only to find out what could've been repaired tire wise. The most sad and inconvenient part is that I am a fourth grade teacher who has to now find another tire repair place within a few days before spring break to get to go on vacation which I will be driving to. Great example of customer service. I stopped in at 6:25 PM, and they close at 7 PM. Had a very low tire with only 8 pounds of pressure. Tire had a screw in it. Took me right in, fixed the tire, and was out in 20 mins. I had first gone to Tire Kingdom on Military Trail, about 1/2 mile away, and at 6:15, they turned me away. These guys were great. read more

I took my vehicle in into Delray Beach, FL Firestone (Atlantic Avenue) for front-end noise and (TCS, power steering freezing and or stability light 60 seconds after start-up lasting for 10 seconds ish. at start-up. The Firestone Team took it upon themselves to fill out the digital paper work by selecting a written estimate was not needed and Parts were not wanted. I never select these options. Physical paperwork was not given; thus, I could not review it until the email doc was sent. The emailed PDF stated verbal authorization was given, but the conversation never took place and the option was not presented. I did not verbally waive the estimate is cost before work is performed nor did I waive the receipt of my parts. It was 125.00 ish for the evaluation. I got a call latter stating the the power steering freezing is voltage related. He suggested getting an ac delco alternator. I had recently replaced it with a Bosch Alternator; but, maybe the OEM works better. I will order an OEM alternator and replace it. Thus, this recommendation is not evaluated, other than to cost-to-repair was given for the request. Being that the second request was not repaired and the cost for the incomplete or misdiagnosed repair, it seems to be better that the power steering freeze fix was not fixed by the Firestone Team. The Firestone Team stated the front-end noise was from the lower control arms. It would be an additional $1300.00 ish for a total of $1600.00 ish. Day one, the car would not be able to be repaired. Day two the car was supposed to be done, but was not repaired. Day three, the lower control arms were replaced; but the front end noise was NOT repaired. I paid them, I tipped the mechanic. Within 1 mile the front end noise persisted. At first it seemed as though it was reduced by 25% but after driving it for a full day, it has not been reduced. Another issue was miscellaneous billing. With an high cost of a misdiagnosed repair or incomplete repair, there was over an $100.00 labor and material charge. This charge the Firestone team took it upon themselves to add it to the order. Not cool. Retailers are handling processes differently theses days, make sure you can see and confirm the digital document or physical paperwork prior to getting your service. A misdiagnosis is a misdiagnosis. A big bill for a misdiagnosis or incomplete repair is a big bill for a misdiagnosis or incomplete repair. Hopefully it does not happen to you. I will need to take it to another mechanic or fix it myself. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Bothing went right from the moment I arrived for an 8 o'clock appointment at 7:55 and was not greeted or helped until 8:20. I ordered two tires in advance and they tried to put three tires on my car. The charge went from $175 per tire installed to $656. I made them take the unauthorized tire off the car and put the original back on as nothing was wrong with it. Over four hours later this nightmare was done and they still over charged me for the two tires. They claimed it was a misunderstanding. No, it was a horrible service experience they could have been easily avoided. I wouldn't recommend this Firestone for anything. read more

Gentlemen, knowledgeable, fast and always willing to share a coupon. Nothing beats this place. I come here generally to get my oil changed, tires rotated and small maint issues. I dont know about their ability to handle major repairs however when it comes to tires and oil these are the best guys in Delray. Trustworthy, because they will always lay out a plan and tell you all of the possible options before doing anything. They will call and get approval before doing anything to your car (in my past I have had people do the work then tell u about it when you get in). They are honest, beacuse I had a blowout on atlantic and couldnt remember if I had a warranty on the tire. They looked it up pro-rated the new tire for me and had me on my way within 15 min. (this was at 7am so it wasnst that busy) I am a loyal customer, not another company can touch my tires. read more

Love this Firestone. Mike is so helpful. I have this company car that works under a contracted service which pays Firestone after the services are completed. It's a pain to deal with and Mike knows it but never has he complained or showed his frustration. Instead he handles it so professionally and with a smile. Everyone here is always happy and upbeat. my 20 year old sons 2006 Range Rover was bought in for AC service . some asshole named Al called me immediately and said come back and fill the tank with 10 to 15 gallons of gas because it was low. i arrives back and asked why does my son need 10 to 15 gallons of gas for you to work on AC service. his arrogant butchered response was "what do you think I'm gonna take your car to New York and show it off"? I responded I'm a customer do not speak to me in that manner and he was out of order. again I asked why does he have to spend that much in gas 10 to 15 gallons at four dollars a gallon he's a student? his reply in a loud voice to me was "your his father why don't you pay for it"? several other customers in the Store listened and observed his disgusting yelling at me admonishing me . then he took my keys and handed them back and yelled " don't ever come back here again. This have been the worst experience at this firestone location. I came in at 4pm only just for a tune up. The representative told me it would only take a hour to a hour & a half. I came back 20 minutes after 6 & notice my vehicle is in the same spot I left it. (By the way, they close at 7pm) I walked up to the counter and ask the guy is my car ready just to see what would they say. On my way home from work I found a screw in my tire. It was about 615 at night and I called firestone. Mario told me that if I got down there quickly they could take me and I would be the last customer of the evening. I am so grateful for him because if I hadn't gotten my tire change that night I would've woken up this morning with a flat tire, had to call AAA, get my car towed to get my tire changed and be extremely late for work. They were all so great, they close at seven but took me anyway knowing that they wouldn't be finished till after seven. I can't thank them enough. I went to firestone to replace my back left flat tire (I ran over a nail) and I also had a missing hubcap with a damaged rim from hitting a curb on the front right tire- the technician went out of his way to not only replace my back left tire, but he also took the time to fix my rim! I was so happy and appreciate that so much! I forgot to ask his name but he was a younger gentleman with longish curly hair and glasses. Thank you SO much! This store is horrible. I'm a customer of theirs for years. I bought my new truck there to get a wheel alignment which I have a lifetime wheel alignment that I paid for. I waited there a couple of hours all the while seeing three customers going before me finally they were putting a fourth customer in front of me. That is when I finally said something I was pissed I had been waiting for hours and now they put another customer before me because I wasn't bringing any money today. Also they had my truck all the way in the back where nobody can see it with the keys in the ignition. All they care about is money not faithful customer who have spent plenty of money there. I panicked when my car overheated 30 miles away from my mechanic. It literally broke down in front of this tire center chain at 9am a few miles from work. Expecting the worst I walked in and saw a full waiting room. I was sure I was doomed! A friendly manager Theresa greeted me promptly, diagnosed my problem within seconds, estimated my wait time accurately then Assigned her expert tech Eric. Eric patiently attended my car while I asked nervous questions. He then gave me clear options and before I knew it I was back on the road and on my way to work after replacing a broken thermostat at a very reasonable price. Folks, it just doesn't get any better than that! They won me over and I'm hard to please! Theresa and her crew expertly managed a steady stream of customers on a busy day after holiday while techs were very courteous and capable and all customers seemed happy with the service. read more

A very disappointing experience. Brought the car in for rear brakes, quoted an amount after inspecting the car, and agreed to that and said to do the job. Also inquired at that time if there was a saving if we opened a credit card through Firestone, which we were told was $50 off the quoted price. We left the car for repair. A short time later with the job underway the manager called and said the job was $80 more because they had made a mistake. We would never have agreed if we had known before hand. After agreeing to hold the price, we were told when paying that we would not get the Firestone credit card discount of $50 because we had already used a coupon. This was not so. He held the quote for us by claiming to use some fictitious coupon, and that we couldn't use 2 coupons at one time. He was rude, arrogant, argumentative, and generally obnoxious. After considerable haggling, he granted the $50 off offer, and we left with the vehicle and a Firestone account, which I will never use because I have no intentions of ever going back there again ever. This is a terrible example of customer service. This speaks badly for the entire company. read more

After going to several mechanics over the years, I've finally found one I can trust. I've been to this location 3 times already, and in each instance they were professional and friendly. I was even able to talk to each of the mechanics about the service. Example: my daughter brought her car to a dealership who wrote an estimate for $3,554 for a small oil leak, and this Firestone shop completely fixed the problem for under $150, which also included a complete oil change. My opinion, service business can't be perfect all the time, but customer service starts at the top and then trickles down to their managers and mechanics in this case. The leadership for this business has your interest in mind and seems to want your repeat business. Great job guys! read more

Highly recommend! First time I went and def. plan to go back. Plenty of options just in that zone alone (very busy/congested area) but there's a reason they were hopping even on a Tuesday afternoon! While I had to wait an hour or so for an oil change and to get tire pressure checked the time flied. Clean, spacious updated waiting area so just sat back and watched TV and checked e-mails over their high speed free WiFi. Dealt w/ Juan or Jose (sorry...lost his card and forgot name) but couldn't have been more pleasant, knowledgeable, honest/ethical! Along w/ the rest of the guys there. High quality staff. Never 'fun' sitting and waiting for an oil change but the process couldn't have gone better. read more

This place sucks! I asked them to fix the a front left tire, it has a slow leak. Plus rotate the tires. They call me about one hour later and said I need two new tires in the back. Now, I bought from them four new tires 6 months ago-70,000 mile tires, they only had 20,000 mile on them so far. So, I asked why and the salesman says "I don't know" that's what the mechanic told me. I said no that's alright, knowing that I had plenty of tread on the those tires. They call me later that day and said your car is ready. Now, the leak was in the front left tire. The very next day the front left was still leaking. So that means they never fixed the leak and it would of been on the back left if they rotated it too. I'm getting to the good part now. Not only that they did not fix the front left tire and not rotate the tires like it says on the bill, the back left tire has a nail sticking out plan as day with a yellow chalk mark pointing out where the nail is. They let me leave there place without telling me about the nail in the back tire. The salesman just said I need two new tires not that there's a nail in the tire. CRAZY! I said screw it and took it to one of those no name tire places that patched both tires for $10 each. Miss communication I guess on their part lost a customer. read more
