I had originally wanted to take in my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan to get an oil change down the street at Talk of the Town. I had just gotten the car and didn't know the history on it. TOTT refused to work on my car due to the drain plug being worn out and stripped completely. I ended up just going down the street and taking it here, told the team what happened and they took me in that second and helped me out with my situation. They even did a complete inspection on the car since I did just get it and because I have 2 kids, one being a newborn, and just making sure I'm driving the car safely. Today I had an early morning appointment to have a new tire put on. I was told it would be completed in an hour, so I left and returned 1 hour and 10 mins. later. Even though the place was almost empty of customers the guy said they had been "swamped" and hadn't even started to put my tire on the car! No customers when I arrived, no customers when I returned and only 1 car on a lift...several workers standing around and one sitting and reading. Covid-19 slow day and they still can't get a simple tire change done in an hour. I will never go back...and recommend that you never go! read more

Have been going to this location for years to get tires fixed and also get new tires. Went in today to get a nail removed and patched. It took them 25 min to say we have a policy that we can't patch a tire based on tread wear. After talking with my wife, they did the same thing to her last time. She bought a new tire. Total garbage the tire has less than 22k miles on it. We can get you a new one...right. Your "policy" has lost our business. Went a block away to Stone Tires, and it was fixed in 10 min at half the cost. No new tire is needed. Unscrupulous... money grab. Stay away from this location. read more

I had an amazing experience here this week. Johnny saved my life (and pocket book). My car battery was dead & I went to auto zone across the street first. They couldn't get the old battery out of my car because there was some corrosion. The spent almost an hour trying until they gave up and said you need to go somewhere else. They jumped my car and suggested I go across the a street to firestone. Best. Decision. Ever. Johnny right away was able to look at my car and within 10 minutes he had the old battery out & new battery in and I was on my way. I can't recommend the customer service here enough. I appreciate the good neighborliness of this Firestone. I was picking up lunch at the sandwich shop next door when I discovered my tire was very flat. This tire was fairly new and under warranty so I wanted to get air for the flat tire -- thought I would try to make it to the store 6 miles away where I had bought it. Technician Mike advised against this (tire was dangerously flat/fast leaking) and graciously changed out my flat tire, putting on my spare as a courtesy. Went in yesterday 04/13/2020, in need of two new tires. They did not have the tire size I needed so they placed a, "Special Order." Scheduled an appointment with Johnny Roman, for the following day, 04/14/2020 to have the new tires installed at 3pm, assuring me that he would have it ready. Went in today for my appointment and come to know that they were, "slammed with work," and did not have any information as to my appointment but they did have the, "special order," on stock. Guy that attended me was not professional at all nor customer service oriented. Did not offer remediation, only said they were "slammed with work." I went in to get a simple brake light fixed. I had the bulb but just couldn't get the cover off of the brake light! So I asked Johnny and Eric if someone could help and they were so accommodating! They were amazing to get me the help I needed! Nate came out and worked on getting that cover off for a LONG time! Poor guy it was tough, but then Eric came and helped him and they got it off, popped the bulb in and off I went! Amazing guys! I get all of my car work done there. My car had routine tire rotation, and a oil change. Additionally, I had requested transmission oil change for 50K. During the driving test prior to getting the transmission oil changed, the technician noted that the automatic shifting from one speed (gear) to the next was rough and often slightly delayed. Because there seemed to be a possible transmission problem, the manager checked the car manufacturer's reported problems/recalls and found two recalls for the transmission on my vehicle. The manager then recommended the vehicle be taken to the dealership to have the transmission inspected. He printed out the recalls and included them in Firestone's service report, which made it easy to explain why I was bringing the vehicle to the dealership to have the transmission inspected. The results was the vehicle manufacturer will replace the entire transmission under warranty. Hooray for me! Thank you Firestone!!! read more

If you have a flat, in their parking lot, you are going to want to call a tow truck. Slowest con-artists I've ever met! They literally commit fraud as standard operating procedure, according to their service advisor. Got a flat while driving and just made it into their lot. They said they charge $25 per tire to fix a flat, even though they know their competition does it for free. Took hours for them to get to it, then told me that it was not repairable. The reason? The hole was in the "sidewall", yet it clearly was in the tread. I challenged him on it, and they claimed Firestone calls the tread the sidewall. He then went on to say my front tire needed replacement, as it was worn out and said there was only a little tread left before the tread wear indicators would be exposed. Again, I challenged him. They then measured the tread depth, to the wear indicators!!! This is straight up fraud. The indicators are used to tell you when a your needs replacing, and it is ABSOLUTELY NOT standard practice to ever measure to the indicators, you measure to the bottom of the groove. I will never go back to any Firestone nor should anyone, even in an emergency use this sham of a once respected tire company. I came here to get some tires last year. I thought I was having some issues with my alignment recently and came in to have it checked. I ended up getting new brake pads as my truck was due for them. There was some confusion as to what was quoted verbally and the end charge. I spoke with the team and they honored the original verbal quoted price. The next morning I had an issue with my battery. I called Firestone to see if somehow this was related to the work that was done and they said no but to come in they would check it out. They tested and cleaned my battery for free. I haven't had an issue with it since then and it might have been due to some buildup. The staff was great and I would go back. read more

Went in for a alignment on my truck after it was there for about an hour I get a phone call from the service manger saying his "mechanic" wanted to remove my steering wheel and turn the wheel straight and THEN align my truck because " the steering wheel was so crooked" it's a good thing I've been working on vehicles most of my life or I would have been royally screwed any actual alignment shop WILL tell you never remove the steering wheel for a alignment it's unnecessary and completely wrong 10/10 WILL NEVER RETURN THERE and I urge you to do the same read more

Very very disappointed as I have brought my car(s) here for YEARS. I brought my car in for an oil change, and it was apparent they were quite backed up. I told him I could leave the car for the day and he agreed to perform the job. I was a couple of thousand miles overdue so I was sure I would need some extra maintenance on this visit. When i came to pick it up about 6 hours later, (after they called), he stated that everything on the car "looked great". I was suspicious as the car had not been running great. I asked, "are you sure? I know I was overdue for the oil change. The brakes were good? Tires? Transmission? Filters? All good?" He said, "yes, unless you want me to do work you don't need?" I said, "ok, well that's good news I guess". But I was still suspicious that maybe they did not check the car at all. Over the last few weeks my car's performance has NOT seemed better than before the service so I took the car to a mechanic. 1. oil filter leaking, and oil levels LOW. 2. brakes DANGEROUSLY worn down. 3. Transmission in need of fluid and service. Also, a week after my oil change I needed to come back and have my tire pressure checked because my tire pressure light was on. It's pretty clear to me that they did NOT check my car and I am even wondering if they did the oil change at all. I will not be returning ever. It seems the new management is maybe not on par with the previous. Such a shame as we have had probably our last 8 cars serviced at this location. read more

Fantastic service! The guys there are all friendly and professional and made sure that everything was done that I had asked for; let me know I needed to replace and flush coolant (which was original from when I bought the car. AND it was blazing hot today so good timing). An unexpected wait for a needed tool made the visit a bit longer than I would have liked but hey, no reason to get mad or stressed out, lifes too short for that kind of behavior anyway. As usual my first instinct to not go to Firestone (this location firmly being Express Tire before their acquisition by Firestone) was right. They are a bunch of con artists here and will do anything to swindle you. Had my tire pressure sensor go off and and it was visible that the front right tire has lower pressure. I drive a lot and could've attributed to either that or a nail in the tire. After over an hour of waiting they let me know it's a slash in the tire with the low pressure. When i looked at all 4 literally none of them had any visible slashes and this is in broad daylight to. I probably shouldn't have mentioned earlier that i got this at discount tire. Firestone not only claimed that they couldn't repair this tire, and that was against the law. Because discount is closed on Sunday's i had no choice but to come here and get conned by these bozos. Everyone knows these jiffy lube rejects are just here to make a quick buck cause they get commission. Since they refused to repair the tire i wasn't about to risk driving with it potentially getting low pressure or even popping cause there was visible damage. But wouldn't be surprised if the clowns at Firestone were the ones who cauSed the slash. They are con artists down the to the letter.
