The manager, Joey met me inside and got me set up to have four tires mounted balanced, and installed quickly, followed by having an alignment performed. Using an impact wrench with the wheel lock tool that says not to use an impact wrench has cost me hours of my time and a considerable amount of money to fix so my car can pass inspection. If this had been discovered with a flat tire on the side of the road I would have been forced to have it towed. I went in for a battery change--they said they had it in stock--they didn't when I got there they said they would have it delivered--I saw my car being serviced and thought they were installing battery--and when I asked the service guy what they were doing if they weren't installing battery--oh we're doing a courtesy 5 point check and checking all your tires--I can see they're new--I said yes they're new. Make a long story short--2 days later my tire light comes on--coincidence?? I don't think so--I went to discount tires and they showed me a nail that was stuck in the side wall as if someone stuck it there--the placement was weird---mind you I work remote and barely drive the car---I know they stuck this nail in my tire--they are shady--looking for business--tire had to be replaced and when you look at my particular Audi--you need to replace all 4 tires because of the all-wheel drive! I will never g back to this place--a bunch of shady thieves. There is no way I caught a nail anywhere on the road driving home--it was stuck in there. They don't even carry the proper tools to remove a spline lug nut for a stock Dodge Ram 2500....I left my vehicle there all day and get a call right before they close to tell me we dont carry the 6 different size impact drives! Horrible service, a 4+ hour job done in 2 hours, within the first 30 minutes of driving after service of oil change, registration inspection, spark plugs, filter replacement and brake pads, my car died. Discovered metal in oil tank and it killed the engine. My car was running great prior to taking it to Firestone, the appointment was for routine manufacturer suggested maintenance. To add to this, reviewing my invoice that was emailed, as they do not show you the invoice when you check out, they charged me for struts, which were never mentioned or approved. I could honestly get over the fact that this place never seems to have a state inspector. I had called during the week and was told that their inspector leaves at 4 every day. While waiting in line on Sunday with my 4 year old daughter, I noticed on the TV that she kept trying to look at that it was a sci-fi movie. I'm thinking great now my daughter is going to have nightmares. I ended up looking up the movie after I left. This is the description I found online for the movie. 'Sci-fi violence includes frightening life-threatening explosions, discovery of dead bodies. Humans implode inside deep sea suits and battle terrifying monsters. Characters are in intense peril.' Not exactly family friendly and waiting room appropriate. While in line, I overheard the counter person tell the guy in front of me that they don't have an inspector on Sundays. I guess at that point why even advertise that you do state inspections if you have no real availability to do so. Other issues I've had with this location in the past are them not doing courtesy inspections on state inspections, not giving me a call about suggested services, not calling when the vehicle is done and not giving me a copy of any inspection beyond the print out of the state inspection. It's just amazing that I have been to the one in Leander and Round Rock and have had totally different experiences. If I didn't have a lifetime alignment I would never return. read more

I dropped off wheels and tires to get switched from old wheels to new wheels I was originally told they would be done by the end of the work day 7pm 08/24/2022 so after hearing nothing all day I called and they made the ticket but never hung it up so they had been sitting all day untouched although frustrating things happen and I understand that fast forward to 10am 8/25 I called and they hadn't hung up the ticket at this point I think it's an easy out for them not knowing someone else told me the same thing so they say they will be done soon fast forward 1:00 I call and they say "he's working on it right now so sorry!" So I show up at 4:00pm thinking 3 hours if he was working on it they should be don't well I show up and my wheels and tires are still sitting I. The same place I unloaded from my vehicle yesterday!! At this point I'm mad they LIED to me thinking I wouldn't find out so I went in there and literally had to sit there and watch them do it I will never recommend Firestone they are horrible everyone go somewhere else I watched them treat many customers poorly and they let the phone ring all day and pick it up maybe once an hour and the bathroom was nasty DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE read more

Went in for a simple break job and after leaving their shop my breaks locked up without me realizing.l, I mean I'm no mechanic. That's what I paid them to do. Then had to get it towed from Luling to Lockhart. Be cause I was in Luling driving to see my mother who lives 4 hours away. Now me and my child are stranded in Lockhart for hours, and they told me they may not even have time to look at my car. Well...They fixed what they could. From there it got towed to Pflugerville. Picked it up from there after they said they had to replace all calipers, brake pads, rotors, all 4 hose lines, 2 wheel bearings, and axle seals. Once I picked it up from Pflugerville I started to leak differential fluid because the axle seals broke again. Had to take it back to Pflugerville and they said they could not get me in, but they could at Hutto. So guess where the car went?! Took it to Hutto and they supposedly fixed it. Well...guess what...here we are not even 6 months later and I'm leaking differential fluid again. Took it back to Hutto and they tell me it's my rear drive train. And they sent me on my way with no differential fluid in my rear. Well I wasn't buying that. So I took it back to Georgetown where all of this started. And they are telling me it's my rear differential and it needs to be replaced. So now I am beyond fed up cause the area manager is less than useful knowing all of this. So I reach out to corporate and now the area manager wants to help. (Little to late if you ask me) So now he approves my complaint and they send it to claims. Now here we are after 3 weeks of people at corporate telling me that someone in the claims department will be in touch with me in 24-48 hours and still nothing and no results. Calls made everyday to a direct number for claims and still nothing. Talked to a supervisor at corporate and they are no help. All this time I have no choice but to drive this car cause I have a young child to take to school everyday and it's the only vehicle I have. The differential is now rattling and grinding and I know its not safe to drive, but what choice do I have?
