Myself, my son and my brother have been coming to Firestone auto on Durango for a few years now and ALWAYS COMPLETELY satisfied! Sales manager, Jarrod S., is the most helpful person I know. We usually are helped by him and/or Porsha but everyone there has always been so polite and courteous to us. Quite a few times I went in, thinking high-priced repairs were in the works but, was always put to ease by them and so grateful for their work! There have even been a few times, thinking something was wrong, Jarrod went to the parking lot, checked our car(s) there, 'tinkered' with them, and sent us on our way, all good; no charge. And when we are charged, it is always less then we previous found elsewhere. Now, there is no more 'elsewhere'. We trust Jarrod and his staff to do the best job possible on our cars! read more

Have you ever given a 5-star review to a company, then realized it wasn't so deserving of a 5-star? Well, that's what happened to us. We had our car serviced by Tires Buy Mike not too long ago, and and we were so grateful that they were able to service our car right away after my husband hit a curb and needed a new tire and an alignment. We were out of town on business, and Tires Buy Mike was not too far from where our car needed to be towed. They serviced our car, put on a new set of wheels, and we were grateful that we were able to drive off shortly after...Needed a fix asap since we were hitting Vegas the next morning. On our way to Sin City, the car had some shaking after we hit 60 mph. We thought...we should've had the alignment done too, so we brought our car to the Goodyear in LV. They told us that upon the new tires that was serviced by Tires Buy Mike, these tires also needed to be balanced. Because they did not balance all 4 tires, and did not apply any weights on them, it was causing the shaking. Goodyear was baffled that they missed these important steps. Goodyear fixed all these issues, and now we can drive away knowing we are in good hands...Thanks to Aaron for servicing our car, and Daniel for the insight...Terrific job! read more

After checking out a few places, the moment I walked into this place, I immediately liked Brian (very tall guy....see photo) and Aaron who is seen waving in the photo below. The place had great vibes and I felt totally comfortable doing business with them. Unfortunately I won't see them again since I'm passing through but my buddy who lives here will know about this place and especially those guys bc I felt well taken care of. I have mixed feelings about my experience. My car stopped right across the street. I called and asked if they could help push my car over since I was just on the other side of the road, but they said they couldn't for liability reasons. For whatever reason I just assumed it was my transmission. The guy initially gave me what sounded like a fair offer. He was going to look at it, if it turned out to be a transmission problem, there is nothing they can do (but recommended I go to AAMCO). If it wasn't a transmission problem, then he would charge me the diagnostics fee $99. So I left my car there all day. They couldn't figure it out, and asked if I was running on low gas, and to that I answered yes, but I still had some bars on my meter. He said he would put in some gas and see if that helped. Several hours later and my car still wasn't diagnosed. I went before work hoping it had been enough time, and the guy (who was nice) was just then walking down to get some gas. I had offered to get it myself, hours earlier but he said I didn't need to. Long story short, he suggested a new battery which I agreed to. He charged the diagnostics fee, which I had to. And basically it turned out that I was simply out of gas. Lesson: You may end up paying $260 to find out you simply ran out of gas! I guess I deserved it. To this day I still don't understand what is the difference between a free inspection vs $100 diagnostics test to which I did not get any information from. I had my check engine light on, so they cleared that, which is good, but I wanted to know what codes were pulled so I would have record of it. Yes, they took off $10 but they also charged me hundreds of dollars to find out I was simply out of gas. Update: 3 days after getting their $150 battery, my car had trouble starting. I went back, and it turns out to be a faulty battery. They replaced it, and although their 'supposed to charge a labor fee,' they did it for free. So, NOW, I think my car should work. I called another Firestone, and the same battery was $10 cheaper, which means each store is somewhat independent and can charge slightly different prices. The girl was very nice, and might consider going to that other location next time. read more

The slogan says "honesty is the best policy". When I called them and asked how much an oil change is, they said $30. It ended up being $55. For a franchise, it is a good option for a garage. But they charged me $350 for tightening the screws on my engine block. Seems excessive read more

I took my Camaro there for an oil change when I went to pick it up the car wasn't even there and when I got it back it had 5 more miles on then when I dropped it off when I asked why they told me the guy who did the oil change had to test drive it to make sure everything was ok WTF they don't test drive the car after an oil change so I knew it was bs not to mention it's a built car that has over 700hp I would never recommend this place read more

The shop is too busy to provide good service. I made an appointment five days in advance to come in and get a flat repair done. When I arrived I was quoted five hour turnaround time. This was upsetting, but I decided to go with it. 4 1/2 hours later I called to check in on it, and they told me I need to choose which type of new tire I want. So pretty much they forgot to follow up with me while I was waiting around. And what should have been a 30 minute appointment tops turned into a five hour waste of a day. I called to make an appointment for Saturday, 9/23/23, at 10:30. Received email. Then received email my appointment was for 11:00. Arrived at location at 10:30 and was told appointments are only on the hour. Ok. At 1:28 had not heard from them and called and my car had not even been taken it. Was there for an oil change and my free tire rotation and an inspection. Told them to cancel and I would come get my car. 2 hours 30 minutes and they had not even started!!!!!!! I have had my car serviced at Firestone many times. They have always done a good job and been honest about what the car needs. I never felt like they were trying to rip me off. Meineke on the other hand is a rip off shop. So because I've had good experiences here I'm giving them some praise and a 5 star review. If you value punctuality DO NOT GO HERE!!! I scheduled to have my car serviced and was informed that a part needed to be ordered and to return a few days later. I came back to get the service done (after putting in PTO for work) to be told the part was never ordered and I'd have to come back another day. I came back and my brake service was done. Immediately, I noticed a loud screeching coming from my wheel-well on the right side. I brought the car back to this location a few days later and informed them that since my service was done I've noticed a screeching on the RIGHT side. After not getting an update, I come back to find that they have removed the left side tires when I clearly told them it's coming from the right side. I wait in the waiting room for an hour just for the technician to tell me the problem was indeed on the right side. If changing brakes on a Ford is too big of a job... just say that initially. Long story short we got a flat tire on our way out of town (4 hour drive). We called this location 15 minutes before they closed on a Saturday to ask about patching up the tire. We were five minutes away. Before they even had the chance to say, "no" we made our way over.They took care of the tire when they could have turned us away. These guys are great! The only good thing I have to say, is that the store was clean. I took my car in for an oil change, and to have the tires rotated. After about an hour, I was told the tires couldn't be rotated, that they were too damaged, and needed to be replaced. Then, I was told The coolant system needed servicing, my battery was testing as very low, and I needed a new licence plate light bulb. Okay, well- My car is a 2003- so she's old, and I've been in several accidents with her, so, cosmetically, she's not gorgeous anymore, but I take darn good care of the inside. If she needs to be serviced, I want it done. But... I was uneasy. I just replaced the battery 2 week prior to going in for an oil change, and the cooling system was serviced at the beginning of the summer. So I elected to let them change the light bulb, but declined everything else. $71 Later, I got my car back, pulled up out front, ready to go. I go to get in, and notice that they broke the pop up lock, on the inside of the drivers side door. I debated going in- but it's the principle of the thing- not the $2 part. They didn't say one word about breaking the lock, they were only worried about selling me services. I went back in, and they offered to order the part, and have it fixed. Why? So when I come back, you can sell me more services? No, thanks. I took my car to a different auto place, got new tires (which I did need), but the battery and cooling system were both fine. Also, I showed them my receipt from Firestone- and it says I had an oil leak.... No one said anything about that to me, and that seem like information I should have. I hate that a female can't trust an autoshop- I thought based on the Yelp reviews, I'd be safe coming here. I filled out the automatic survey they send out, and still haven't heard back. Too long of a story... but after checking out several other places in town I am so lucky to have found this place. I am so grateful and impressed with their honesty and kindness!!! Stranded in Vegas with a broken car. These guys did great work & called all over to find my part for a good price. My mechanic at home told me to expect to pay about $1300-1400 dollars for this repairl. My price with them was $1354. So I don't feel like I was overcharged. My tire popped and I already had a tire that I ordered online and just needed these guys to mount my rim on it and replace it. Got an appointment the day I called and they price quoted me $25 which is the typical amount to spend for what I needed done. They were quick and professional. They also gave me suggestions on other things that needed to be looked into but I didn't feel pressured into anything. They were awesome! Patrick helped me out and was very sincere. I took my car there because they over tighten the cap to my oil filter housing preventing me from doing my own work in my previous oil change. Upon warning prior to any work being done they went and broke the housing anyways and told me it would cost $291 to replace it with a new one or risk using the old one. This is the 2nd time they broke something on my car the 1st time they replaced it at no charge, I thought it would be the same issue as I'm sure nothing was done purposely accident happen,, they said no this is common and that I was stuck with the bill. I spoke with Quentin, who was pleasurable at 1st until I disagreed with him, then tried to talk down to me like I didn't understand what part I was speaking of. The worst part is this is a pandemic and I price the part online myself and it only costs $40 to replace. Not to mention him trying to upsell me on a battery after all this. This used to be a good location but save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

LADIES BEWARE! I went in to get an estimate on my breaks front and back. The quote was $1000. I had the fronts done because I felt $1000 was a joke! I had a life time on the pads so had the work done. The guy stressed I needed the backs done. Ok, I get that but I don't have $1000 to spend on my vehicle today. We may have trouble getting them back on. WTF! You bent the rear drums! I simply wanted an estimate. You could have used a rubber mallet Firestone. You felt it was ok to damage my property because you thought I was going to accept your price! Anyways, I went back for the rears because you people already bent up my break system when you did the estimate. Plus, I had a estimate, that you refused to honor after the work was done. Unethical! After 4 hours, $577 for rear brakes and drums, when the week before it was quoted $150 less. I have contacted my bank regarding this! If you people spent more time working responsibly, talking less to each other and less time fucking people out of money this review would not be posted! I will never forget how you lied to me and treated me like shit because you thought I was a stupid woman. Sad read more

Had my suspension repaired and my alignment adjusted here. Pierce (store manager) was super friendly, polite and helpful...despite being SWAMPED with phone calls and walk-ins! I'm serious; I came here twice and both times he was totally drowning in customers, but still kept his cool and stayed friendly and polite. Whoever is reading this from Firestone corporate.....hire this poor guy some help!!! This place is so bad I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. They should all be sent to jail for basically stealing property and overcharging. I took my vehicle there for an inspection just after I bought it and everything was fine, a week later I was buying a battery (understandable) and a starter. Then when I asked for the old part they refused to give it to me lied to me and insulted me, please explain to me again how you tapped the starter with a really long bar and just knew it was bad.... yes I'm the dumb one for paying and buying into the bullshit but when I ask for a part that belongs to me and you refuse that's theft. This shop is an embarrassment to the mechanics who truly have ethics. read more

My son is a loyal Fitestone guy, so when his car stopped the other and we were right in front if one he was happy. They came back with a $1400 estimate. After discussing this with my Gurlfriend we asked them if instead of repairing the heater block they could just bypass. They said no, not his this kind of, otherwise they would offered it. Strangely, at this point the dude started saying "We don't work on commission, so you know you can trust us." After further discussions we had the car towed. The new place took one look and said sure they would go around the heater block, for $500. Much better pricewise. Firestone also charged my son $70 to look at it, without making it clear they were going charge. I expected it, but my son was surprised. Seeing as they knew he new at being a car owner I think they could explained it better. Leaving two stars because they were fast, clean, and upfront about everything except the cheaper alternative. read more

Agree with Z S review. No love for this location. Brought vehicle in for new tires at a confirmed reservation time one hour before closing. Crew struggled with balancing one of the tires and instead of making it right slapped on an unbalanced tire so they could leave by closing time. Needless to say I'm back in here two days later for them to make it right. I regret ever coming in here and will never come in again. read more
