Friendly fellow at the counter, but had them do a performance AC check, which they quoted me $1300 to fix. Check involves introducing a dye in the system to detect leaks. Decided to get a 2nd opinion and they saw no evidence that dye had ever been put in the system which leads me to believe that a proper test had not been performed. The 2nd shop quoted me $700. This is the third time I have used Firestone Auto Care- twice for my daughter and now for myself. My car broke down and I barely got it into Firestone. I had no idea what was wrong and as a woman always worry about getting taken adavantage of when I do not know anything about car repairs. Josh and Greg were both awesome! They treated me with respect and were very honest about the work that needed to be completed. They carefully explained what needed to be done and even showed my the parts of my car that were the problem. The repairs were much less than I expected and I was so relieved. I feel they were honest and I will definitely be using the again in the future. read more

If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I brought my vehicle in after telling them what the issue was and it took them 2 days to get back to me. Then the cost is over $500, but I understand, stuff costs money that's alright. The shop manager tells me they can order the part and have me on my way on Monday by 4pm (when I get off work). Keep in mind I dropped it off on Thursday morning. I spend the 30 bucks for a Lyft on Monday and shockingly the part hasn't arrived, the shop manager that ordered it isn't around and hasn't left detailed notes on where she ordered it from and my car is no closer to being fixed. Today is Tuesday, they put a 'rush' order on the part so I STILL won't be able to get my car until Wednesday. What kind of cut-rate business doesn't keep their customers informed and their employees able to answer simple questions??! The old shop manager was 10x better, always took care of me and never played games. I'm severely disappointed with the quality of care and customer service they currently provide. The cherry on top was waiting for my lyft after the part hadn't arrived at the shop and one of their employees was cussing them out under his breath and mean mugging everyone he saw. One star seems generous...Ladies and those who don't want to be charged 6 times what they should be for routine maintenance should steer clear. Scheduled an appointment for a 30000 mileage check for my Subaru. When I arrived they said that the wait would be an hour just for my oil change even with an appointment and they quoted by 1300 bucks for the whole package! I didn't want to commit to that so I left, but the man at the counter assured me that the dealership would cost much more. Called the dealer that I bought the thing from and asked for a price and they walked me through what was needed...which came to a grand total of around 200 with parts and labor choosing the recommended but optional break flush. He laughed when I asked him about $1300 estimate and struggled to figure out what service could justify a cost over a grand. Never going to a Firestone again. Just another place that takes advantage of women with over priced estimates from what I can make of other reviews. Clearly they think that having two x chromosomes prevents you from being able to use the internet or your cell phone to get other prices? Anyone who thinks that what they did here was wrong should boycott this place. read more

Ladies, beware of being sold unnecessary services at this place. They get two stars because they completed my oil change and tire rotation in under an hour, and the work seemed to be good. But they lose the other stars because I walked into their shop needing only an oil change and asked to rotate the tires, I couldn't remember when it was done last...and walked out with a $1100 estimate of work they claim I needed done. This was their "free maintenance inspection". I was pretty upset and had it been 20 years ago when I was single and believed anything a mechanic told me, I would have been out $1100. My husband was mad, he's a car guy and does a lot of work on our vehicles...they told me I needed new tires, but mine were only 6 months old and in good shape...they said I needed a complete brake job, but my car is only 3 yrs old and was at the dealership not long before and they told me my brakes were good (and if the dealership isn't trying to upsell you, you know it's not a problem) and my hubby checked my brakes to make sure I wasn't driving around dangerously, said my brake pads looked just fine. I'm so disappointed they tried to sell me things I didn't need, so I won't ever go back, how can I trust them. Also, two different employees tried to get me to sign up for their credit card, I told them no over and over...and one kept trying to convince me, I said I have enough credit cards, but he was like "Not this one, you can use this one for all repairs here"...thanks but no thanks, I don't want my mechanic selling me credit cards. Not only was the staff helpfull at picking the right tires, but they have one of the least expensive oil changes in town.

I actually trust these guys and don't feel like I have to constantly be on the defensive like I do at other auto shops. They have great customer service and really stand behind their work. read more

I had a vehicle inspection done on 10-21-18 and a tune up. When I picked up my car was I surprised at what they told me was wrong with my car. The car is 12 years old so some of it wasn't that surprising however I was told that my front brakes are shot, and in fact the gal told me that I absolutely needed to have that done within the next 2 weeks or I can expect a brake failure. What this gal didn't know was I have someone who had looked at my brakes and deemed them satisfactory and today I took my car in for my yearly Uber inspection and they also found the brakes satisfactory. I can guarantee you that Uber would not pass my car if I had brakes that would fail within the next week. I truly believe because I am an older female they try to instill the fear factory so you will get the work done. I have had alot of work done at this shop and had faith that we were doing right by me and not now. I will look for someplace else to go. read more

Not only were the people at Firestone greatly helpful when I rolled in with a flat (they changed my tire/put on spare free of charge), but they price matched on comparable tires when I called wanted to bring my car back to them for 4 new tires. Thank you Firestone! I highly recommend ... read more

Another "ladies beware" message. I had a slow leak on one tire so I called and made an appointment to have it fixed. I was called within 20 minutes to tell me the tire wasn't salvageable because the nail was too close to the wall. So the technician quoted me an amount that seemed reasonable for 1 new tire. I showed up to pick up my Honda Accord and my total bill was $162.90. I said "I'm sorry how much? That wasn't the amount you quoted on the phone" and the technician said that it was the same amount. Without arguing I paid and left the store. My boyfriend then looked at the bill, knowing a bit about cars, and said "that seems like a lot for 1 tire, let me look". So we used the Firestone website with my car's specs to determine the best tire for my car, which came up with a $90 tire and about 6 others that were cheaper than the one they put on, which happened to be the most expensive tire they carry for a car like mine at $123.99 per tire. It is meant to be on a "luxury vehicle", as per the website's description. I hardly consider a Honda Accord a luxury vehicle. In addition to this, they also charged me a $17.98 Road Hazard Protection fee that I was not asked about or given the ability to decline. I've always been warned that females get taken advantage of at car repair shops, this is a prime example. Sincerely disappointed and will not be going here again. read more
