The best auto repair experience that I ever had Friendly, QUICK, understanding, knowledgeable. Got a flat tire Sunday afternoon when heading back to Arizona. Called 12+ other places with 2-3 hour wait times or closed on Sundays. He said couldn't be done same day which is fine it was 5:20 but I asked him if I dropped it in the morning could it be done by 8:45 he said no I should maybe try American tires or sears. Dont fall for the battery trick!! They read off some numbers and say your battery is bad, dont fall for it, take it to somewhere else that gives free battery checks and then decide if you need a new battery. They told me i needed a new one on a car that has 30k miles so i said no and then went and checked at the dealership and there was nothing wrong with the battery. Also they charged me for a tire rotation that they didn't do, granted they did give me the money back and completed the service which was nice but it made me wonder if they even did the brake flush because you have to take off the wheels to do that! My over all message is that i will not be a returning customer and do not fall for the battery test crap, it is a scam and this location will do it to you!! read more

Warning!!!! Do not trust these people!!!! I brought my car there 2 weeks ago for a wheel alignment, since I purchased from them a Lifetime Wheel Alignment. Brought my car in on a Sunday morning at 9:30 hoping to get it done earlier. Was told that my car would be done y 5 to 6 PM. Kinda suspected since they was no revenue for them. Called them at 5 to check and they said that it would be done at 6. Drove to the shop at 6:15, as I was walking to the entrance, I noticed that my car was driving off the parking lot from the same place I left it in the morning, I proceeded to the store to check the outcome of my car and told them my name, Natalie (store Manager) told me that she just left a message from home number that my car was done. The technician came back with my car and gave Natalie my keys. I asked for a report of my alignment, they could not provide one. Natalie told me that they would have to place my car back to the rack to get a report. I went back to the parking lot where my wife was waiting in my other car, which was park at plain site of my car on the rack being worked on. I told my wife as we were monitoring them work on the car, I said " if they start adjusting, that means they never really worked on the car". Sure enough they were adjusting alignments, that proved that they did not touch my car and were going to make me believe they did, After they finished working on the car, they were looking for me, so I approached them and they wanted me to take a picture of the screen since they did not have any paper (could not believe that they did not have paper!). I confronted the manager and the technicians and asked them why the told me that the care was done if they did not even touch it? Natalie told me that my paper works was done and a technician sent it in, I asked any of technicians and none of them would admit that it was done. I asked the technician who test drove the car when I first arrived why he gave my keys, he still did not admit. At this point I was really upset, even after the car was so called Aligned they test drove it and said it was still pulling to the right. They told me to leave it with them and pick it up the next day, since the other manager was good in alignment and he could diagnosed it, so I did, Next day I get a call from the manager and he told me he has the report and the issue was the tires, "radial Pull" he called. when I picked up the car, the car drove worst then I initially brought it, I was so disappointed. I was told by the manager that to go back to costco and complained to them. That I may get my tires prorated and get new ones, Did not believe them anymore, since all the lies and deceiving they have done. I brought it to another alignment shop in Orange, Accurate Alignment and Services. I told them what Firestone has told me what my issue were and they were going to check, Sure enough!!!! They came back and told me that what Firestone did to align was wrong and they were able to fix my issue. Always asked for the Alignment report from them, because they can say they already did it but really trying to do a fast one on you. read more

This place is the worst. Had an appt. for an oil change/tire rotation and after waiting 1.5 hours, they tell me there's a nail in my tire and advised it should be replaced. That's fine, I drove over a nail, replace the tire. Waited another half hour for that to be done. Got home and realized my wheel cover was missing. After 6 phone calls (each promising me my wheel cover was ordered) and 3 weeks later...it has FINALLY come on. Will never come back. Awful customer service and was told the reason my wheel cover wasn't ordered was because I had never given them my VIN. I called twice to give them the info need. Greg must have lost my VIN info twice, just like he lost my wheel cover. read more

Ever since I started working out here in orange my car needed more maintenance. I stopped by this place for a simple oil change. Was a new customer so they checked me in and got all my info. Quoted me a time of 30 min to an hour for my oil change. Decided to wait cause I was on my way to work. I had a review with the manager of the inspection of what was suggested maintenance. Did offer me some discounts and told me the benefits of the services. Since I was on my way to work I wasn't able to take care of any of the items. I left happy that I didn't feel pressured and I was out in less than 30 hour. I will definitely be back again. I am going tell my friends and family about this place. read more

This is the only Firestone we have been to and the customer service and knowledge amongst the crew, specifically Jimmy and Dan is outstanding. We service both our cars here and never have been disappointed. They do get pretty busy especially on the weekends so it's best to make an appointment. We have never had any major issues apart from pick up delays but that's always a possibility and as a car owner you should be prepared for that and have a plan b if you need your car. Jim and Dan have always been very helpful, honest, very thorough and the only reason we wouldn't bring our cars here is if a fix was out of their capabilities which is the case for my hybrid. I think their website is useless since they changed it, not this specific location's fault. But really, the only reason I came here about a week ago is because long ago, I purchased the lifetime wheel alignment and believe me since I've had my truck so long it's really paid off. So, I take the truck there, and since I feel obligated to have them do SOMETHING for pay, I have them rotate the tires and do an oil-filter change. All said and done, with the "free" alignment, and the oil/filter change and tire rotation, comes to $82 and change. That's more than double for the same thing at Ford, using their "the works" oil change package since it comes with a tire rotation. And The works comes with semi-synthetic oil. I'm pretty sure all I got at Firestone was Pennzoil high mileage dino-oil. They used to have Kendall. Another change for the worse in my opinion. JUST OPINION GUYS, don't stress. Oh, and I'm not going to bother uploading pics, but I took a snapshot of my driver side door handle all smudged with oil. There was the odd smudge on the hood and upper quarterpanel area, too. I mean yeah it's an old truck, but it's MY old truck. I mean I generally do my own oil changes, but if I have someone do it in the future, I think I'll just head to Ford. After all, it's not just a better deal but if they DO get a smudge or two here or there, no worries, the free car wash will take care of that. 05-05-17, UPDATE: As you can see Firestone was thoughtful enough to reach out to me because of my review. So I did as the response said, and they responded to me again, saying they needed more details. I responded again, saying this was pretty much it. I really don't think this is THAT bad a review. In fact, in the past, I've bought tires there, and they were fine. Not 5 stars fine, but again, that was when they had a more thorough website, etc etc, I'm not going to rehash everything again. Anyways, to this date, I've yet to receive a response to my second email to Firestone email address. Folks, like alot of things in life, it's all for show. I mean I've never accepted a freebie from a company because of a yelp review, so that's not really what I was expecting. I brought in my wife's car for a first oil change and it only takes full synthetic. Natalie walked me through it and even applied a coupon for me since it was my first visit. I was very pleased as to how attentive they were even though they were so busy! They all seemed to work together and got me out of there within an hour with no appointment. Been a Orange Firestone customer for over 20 years. Lots of tires, batteries, oil changes, struts, alignments, and front end work, etc. Last week I stopped by on Monday because my ABS light came on and I needed rear brakes. The service writer said they were busy and made an appointment for 10 am two days later (Wednesday). He said they would read the ABS computer code, give me an estimate and I would be on my way. I arrived on time on Wednesday and checked in with the only service writer in the store. I explained that the Monday morning service writer said that they would read the code, give me a price and my wife was waiting for a call to come pick me up. She took my keys and the 3 hour wait began. They didn't touch my truck for the first hour and a half. I went up several times to check on, and encourage progress. I reminded her that I was going to leave the truck, I just needed the code read and a price. At 2 hours I see my car on the rack with the tires off, but no one working near the car. I walked out to the shop to see if I could find out the condition of the brakes. The tech told me he was done with the diagnosis, he had given the information to the service writer and he could not talk to me about it further. With that information I went back into the lobby and asked the service writer if she had a price for me. She replied that the technician hadn't given her the details. I told her that I had just been in the shop and talked to the tech and he said that he had given her the information. She searches around and finds my file. She says that I need rear brakes and the code indicates that the ABS Module needs to be replaced. She said that she would work on a price. I'm now back waiting in the lobby. While doing so, I decide to learn about ABS Modules. I watch a Youtube video on how to change one, takes 4 minutes to take the old one out and install the replacement. I find re-manufactured replacements for $180.00 and new OEMs for about $800.00. I also find a GM service bulletin that states that 75% of the ABS Modules are replaced unnecessarily. GM states there is a grounding wire issue. They also explain what to do to fix it, a 10 minutes repair. It is now 2.5 hours that I've been sitting in the lobby when the service writer calls me up for the price. Brakes will be about $179 after my $60 coupon and the ABS Module will be $1,700.00 installed. I showed her the GM service bulletin stating not to replace the module and the 10 minute ground wire repair. I asked her to check the ground wire first and she replied that they would not. She was going to write the estimate and if I wanted the $1,700.00 repair they would be glad to do it for me. I'm now waiting in the lobby again. This gave me more time to think about what was going wrong with this whole interaction and the more I thought about it the madder I got. The service writer had plenty of time to help every other person that wandered in, with and without an appointment, but somehow couldn't manage to write up an estimate and give it to me so that I could return to work. What is the purpose of making an appointment? During the last 30 minutes I was there I noticed that there was finally a second service writer helping a customer who was dissatisfied that he had been charged for a repair that did not fix his problem. The customer stated he wasn't sure he trusted them to do it right. Later this service writer turns out to be the store Manager. At just before 3 hours waiting I approached my service writer and asked her to please finish my estimate before she proceeded with other new customers. A request that she pretty much ignored. At this point I had enough and told her to put my truck back together so I could leave. While waiting for my truck I called the Firestone corporate office to file a complaint about the poor service, the $1,700.00 repair that the GM bulletin says I may not need and the refusal to check the ground wire. The Corp. Office was very nice and apologetic. They said that a regional manager would be calling me within 24 to 48 hours. When I finished the call the other service tech approached me and identified himself as the manager. He asked I had not talked to him before calling the corporate office to complain. My reply was that he was not there for at least the first 2 hours that I had been waiting so how could I complain to him. He replied that he was running errands. After I left Firestone I went straight home and ran the front left tire up on the curb to elevate the front of my truck. The ground wires were exactly where the GM bulletin said they would be. I cleaned and reassembled them. I then unplugged the ABS Module, cleaned the connectors and plugged them back into the module. Guess what, no ABS warning light on the dash board. 6 days have now gone by and the regional manager still hasn't called me back. I hope this review will serve as a reminder. read more

They broke a part on my car twice and caused problems that weren't there to begin with. I was told multiple times my car was going to be completeled but never received a call from the mechanic. I had to call every time. My car had to stay an extra day because they couldn't get the correct belt and then a piece on my car broke twice during the repair. I called on Monday since I had not gotten a check up on my car all day after they had to keep it over night. The mechanic Carlos informed me it would take another hour or so to be completed that was at 5pm. I came to the garage to pick up my car since again I didn't receive a call. Carlos informed it would take 3 minutes so I told my ride to drop me off fast forward 40 minutes later I have to ask Carlos what's happening with my car. Not one single person came out to tell me that my car was going to take longer. I asked Carlos and he semi apologized and informed me it wouldn't be done until tomorrow. I asked Carlos why no one told me,as I would've gone home or gotten picked up again I got another semi apology, so I left. While walking back to my house I got a call from Carlos informing me my car was done and to come back. Once inside again I waited for 25 minutes by the register while the cashier tried to get Carlos's attention to bring down my car. While standing there I watched everyone in the garage clown around and hit each other with towels, as well as a possible non employee with no uniform shorts and a tank top just sit in garage and talk to all the employees. After standing there for 25 minutes and with multiple attempts to inform Carlos I was here, my car was finally brought around. Carlos was no longer in his uniform but in shorts and a t shirt. I was charged the full amount for the repair as well as a semi apology for the long wait and that Carlos didn't really know the situation... I wasn't offered any discount even though i was told I would receive friends and family discount...NOTHING.. My granddaughter took her VW Beetle into the Firestone shop in Yorba Linda on Sunday March 2 for tires, while she was there she decided to have the oil changed. When she went to pick up her car, she was told that the oil filter was "stuck" that they had tried to remove it, but couldn't. On Tuesday March 12 (9 days later) she called my from the freeway stating that her oil light was on and the check engine light, also the car was making horrible sounds. She was just a little way to her work, so she parked it there. I called Firestone, they said to have the car towed to the Orange facility, as it was closer. Well, I got a call several hours later stating that it was going to be $1,400.00 to fix. I told them that she had never had any problem with the oil before it was changed at Firestone, but he was adamant that it "just happened" and had nothing to do with their service.
