Before I buckled my 2.5 year old in his car seat, I placed the keys in his cup holder. At some point while buckling him, the doors auto-locked. I did not realize that happened until after I closed the door -- unfortunately, with the keys still in the cup holder. As you can imagine, I panicked. Luckily, the van was parked in a partially shaded spot. However, the sun was shining through the windshield. I imagined the interior slowly heating up. Immediately, I called the nearest locksmith, A-Able Locksmith. I spoke with Paul and told him it was an emergency. I also called 911 because I wasn't sure how long it would take Paul to get there. I had an unexpected run-in with the new locksmith service at First Choice Automotive in Campbell, and I have to say, I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. I was out running errands one day and had just finished shopping at Trader Joe's when I realized that I had locked my keys in my car. I was in a bit of a panic, but luckily I remembered that First Choice Automotive now offers locksmith services. I quickly called their number and explained my situation. Bill who answered the phone was incredibly friendly and assured me that a locksmith would be on their way to help me out as soon as possible. While I was waiting, I decided to do some more shopping at Trader Joe's to pass the time. To my surprise, the locksmith arrived within 20 minutes and found me right in the parking lot of Trader Joe's! He was friendly, professional, and clearly had a lot of experience. He quickly got to work and had my car unlocked in no time. I was so grateful for the prompt and friendly service that I received. I agree with Mike N. This place definitely needs more reviews. I found First Choice off of Craigslist when trying to get my catalytic converter replaced. Spoke to them over the phone briefly and he gave me a rough estimate and said bring it by. When I made it over, he took at look at the cat, called to get a price from one of his vendors for the part, told me how much everything would be (way less than a couple places I called BTW), and said he could be done in about an hour. Not bad. Well, when the part gets there, turns out he misheard and the part from them was more than he thought. But instead of telling me "well it looks like it's going to cost a little more" he tells them to take it back and calls another vendor in order to keep my cost the same! These guys are easy to talk to, do quick and solid work, and try to help you out. You can't ask for much more out of a mechanic. read more

The automotive technicians here are great! Formerly Midas technicians, Bill, Vic, and Carlos are miracle workers when it comes to cars. they know their stuff and will give you an unbeatable price. I met these guys back when they used to work at midas and now they have been able to open their own shop. These guys have worked on my toyota and my mustang (my baby). Just took my Toyota Corolla to First choice and what a great choice that was. I got my brakes replaced oil change, new spark plugs and for a great price. Billy the mecahnic even repaired my stripped lugs nuts. I would recommmend these guys to anyone if you want your car repaired or just have it run like it's brand new.
