If i could give Simi honda and Chris Lee zero stars I would. This was a terrible experience with a dishonest and unprofessional car dealer. I am a current Honda customer. I wanted to lease the new version of the same car I have been driving for the past 3 years. I emailed with Chris Lee, the "internet sales manager" who gave me a price quote via email. When I told Chris I would come in to get the car, I stopped receiving phone calls and emails. I finally got his associate Albert on the phone, who claimed he didn't know where I had gotten the number from. I forwarded him the email, which he claimed not to get. I asked him to email me and then replied to him with the email. Finally he admitted to getting the email, but said he didn't know where Chris got the numbers. Then after pressing, I find out they don't have the car on the lot. The dealership's receptionist told me that Chris was busy with clients all day. Albert told me Chris went home sick. Thankfully I found Benson at goudy Honda who gave me a great price over email, had the car I wanted on the lot, HONORED the price he gave me online, and was an all around honest professional. My experience wasn't great and its really unfortunate because I was interested in purchasing the car here because it was recommended by a friend. Stu (sales manager) was rude and aggressive and didn't provide a price breakdown for the car I test drove. I would think that's something that I would need to know prior to purchasing a car? The service department looked very busy and it seems as though it is always like that. What I found interesting while I spent two hours there was that the majority of the staff were goofing around; some were literally wrestling on the floor. Stu saw what they were doing and ignored it. On the bright side because of the way I was treated I could only assume that all departments are like that and I'm saving myself a future headache. The customer service at this dealership is not first class. I honestly would steer clear of this dealership. They have a sense of entitlement and are very rude. HORRIBLE experience at the first Honda simi today. TLDR: RACIST EMPLOYEES..., Liar sale supervisor- The supervisor made a offer of $4000 off from the MSRP but stand up and walk away right after, as if afraid to keep his word... Full story: My parents took me in to shop for a new Accord. Our sales agent, Ryan Lewis, was very friendly with the car showcasing. We had our eyes set with a Black Accord EX. After negation, we could not come to an agreement on the price with Ryan nor his supervisor (missed his name) We get up from our seats ready to go, and the supervisor spoke out and ask if we would take the car if he takes $4000 off from the MSRP, we immediately sit back down ready to buy and work out the details but the supervisor gets up and walked away, backing out of his offer... My parents was very unhappy of the stunt the supervisor pull, and we made our feelings known to the entire dealership. A guy in suits (one of the owner brothers?) come out to kick us out of his dealership. This is when one of the employee told us to "GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY" (we are Asian Americans) Cannot believe such behavior could be found still in this educated town. The racism and the lack of professionalism have no place in this community, and FIRST AUTO GROUP will never have our business again. AVOID AT ALL COST!! read more

SKIP THIS DEALERSHIP. GO to GALPIN HONDA. THIS dealership is extremely dishonest. We came in to trade our Acura in for a simple Civic that we could drive from A to B. Our sales associate Michael helped us just fine, told us that they would roll the mileage into the new payment. We were extremely happy. Until I got a 2700 bill in the mail for mileage. The statement showed that only $340 was given towards the mileage. We came back after several months after thinking it would go away and it was all an error. This is where we had our encounter with CJ. He listened to our situation promised that he would help us. However his way of helping was to just make us another deal!!!!!! WHAT!?!?!?! Clearly there was an error. CJ advised us that they paid that out because that is the amount that we told him it would be for the mileage. I'm not dealership manager but smart enough to know that the clients are not the ones to tell a professional company what to pay out! That was Ludacris. This dealership made a big mistake that CJ was rudely adamant would never be their fault, in addition he used my words against me. This is definitely not the way to treat your clients. I still can't get my head around how they paid out only 340 dollars based on what I told them to pay, which never happened??? that makes no sense. How would this dealership not check all the details of my previous lease before making the deal? You either pay it all or nothing at all. At the end of the day no deal was done although they "tried" to get creative to help me ultimately we declined as we would NEVER walk back in that dealership again at any cost, or in my case at $2700. So again go somewhere else. read more

Salesman Johann David did a very good job of explaining and demonstrating the features of the car. He did not bombard us with sales cliches, but let the car speak for itself. We were referred through the Liberty Mutual TrueCar buying program, and the dealership did not try to talk us out of that deal. They added dealer options that added to the cost, but not as many as other car dealers we visited. The financial guy was efficient and low key, also not pressuring us to add more options that did not interest us. read more

We said,"No," then we're told that he "had to ask us questions." When we insisted that we'd been asked before, he said we were in their private property and he had the right. Had a terrible experience at first Honda. I called first Honda and asked if they price matched as I was price shopping. I was told they did and to come in to the dealership and talk with CJ. I had a quote from another dealership but wanted to support my local businesses. I came to the dealership with my checkbook assuming they were going to beat the offer I already had. I knew what car I wanted, what color I wanted it in, and what features I wanted. When I got to the dealership CJ was very rude and refused to price match. CJ ended up saying we can't make a deal because I didn't want to listen to his salesman speech and price match as I requested when I called in. CJ ended up storming out of the salesman cubicle and the next day I bought the car I wanted from Honda of Thousand Oaks and it was an honest, friendly, great experience. read more

Five stars for Tom Gigante in the service department. We had to replace the rear window wiper on our Honda Odyssey and my husband thought we had to replace the entire unit, so when Tom brought out just the rubber blade, my husband wasn't sure how to replace it. Tom then proceeded to totally install the part onto the wiper blade unit in just a few seconds, a job which I'm sure would have taken us much longer. We appreciate the extra service and will continue to use First Honda for all of our service and parts. Thank you, Tom! read more

Highly recommend the Service Department! Very professional and efficient. I took my car in to get my steering wheel replaced. It was under warrant so everything was taken care so fast and FREE. I took my car to Keyes Woodland Hills (since it was a factory warranty issue) and they gave me the run around for 2 months about how they have to order my parts, should be coming in next week, etc... Never got a invoice or call back from them. So I decided to take where I both the care and I should have gone here the 1st place. Jaime from Service Department placed the order on a Friday and by 8am the following Monday he was already calling to schedule an appointment to install it. They installed the steering wheel in less than an hour and threw in a car wash. Great Service Department! read more

BUYER BEWARE.....Went here to buy a used vehicle from advertisement...cost of vehicle under 5K. Paying by personal check, not financing vehicle. Was told by Sales Manager (Joe V (JV)), law required he run a credit check to verify my identity, that my check was good (via check systems), and per Office of Foreign Assets Control). Armed with the knowledge that you can't verify someone's identity with a credit check and that neither OFAC nor the IRS require a dealership to run a credit check when purchasing a car for less than 10K. (See Edmunds article about car dealership credit report scams aren't required by OFAC: http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/car-dealership-credit-report-scams-and-the-patriot-act.html) I told JV about article and was then informed it is the dealership's policy and not required by law. I asked if purchase contracts would verify that credit check not be used to process a credit application and would be used as he stated. Was informed by JV contracts would not verify what he stated nor was he going to put anything in writing verifying his statements. Offered to leave car at dealership, until funds verified or after my check cleared bank and was told this was not possible unless I allowed him to check my credit.... HUMM... very suspicious.... Also, asked if I could take vehicle to my mechanic to verify vehicle condition. Was told no, unless I purchase 2-Day cancellation protection contract for $250.00 and pay $750.00 restocking fee if I returned vehicle. After showing sales person copy of AB68- CA bill of rights that I printed from DMV website, etc... was told.. DMV information was incorrect and law didn't matter... the price was the price. After much discussion, asked him to verify cancellation contract cost with finance manager...was then informed my information was correct and the price for cancellation contract would be as stated in AB68 ($75.00 for contract and $175.00 for returned vehicle). AGAIN... very suspicious. DECIDED not to purchase vehicle... will spend my 5K somewhere else. read more

I just want to thank ALL of the employees in the service department, from management to the shuttle driver for helping my mum with her car!! My mum's car would not start a few days ago, she was close enough to walk to the dealer so she did. Upon her arrival she was greeted immediately and helped right away. They shuttled her back and forth and tried to get it started from where she left it, eventually it was towed there and they fixed the problem with in a few hours. I am truly grateful to all who helped her and went the extra mile to figure this out. (turns out it was loose wiring from behind the door panel) Customer service, like this, makes me happy when I can not be there to help her myself!! I came in to have my car serviced for a safety recall on my airbags. This service was free thank god, due to COVID financially things haven't been easy. HOWEVER I did NOT expect to have to pay for a service I didn't even ask for in the first place. There was something else in my car I knew wouldn't affect me, but after I went back to pick up the vehicle I was told I owed $140. They 'helped' with a discount so I only had to pay $70, but I shouldn't have paid anything in the first place. Also shouldn't I have had to sign my "I hereby authorize the repair work..." BEFORE getting a bill I didn't know about?? I was called prior of them asking if I wanted something about it done to which I responded "NO" but was still fined. Sorry not coming again. read more

A few years ago, I went to another Honda dealer and was taken advantage of. It was my first car buying experience and they managed to sneak so many things into my loan. I ended up being completely upside down on the car, even three years later. Worst experience ever. Came here wanting to Lease a 2016 Pilot. The salesman was nice, but the manager was a total *... He wanted us to put down $6,000, uh yeah right! Then he goes on and tells us we should cut our spending to be able to pay$650 a month.. So crazy.. Today I stopped by to look at my options as a potential first time buyer/lease to buy and was met by Jose Morales who was great. Super helpful, patient and very attentive. He knew from the beginning that I was there to explore my options, his Sales Manager Julia Quinn on the other hand is abrasive and disrespectful. She was yelling at Jose while at her desk and I made an attempt to not listen in as it is none of my business but she then charged at us where we were sitting and DEMANDED the VIN of the car we had an appointment to go see at another dealership. She got extremely loud with my boyfriend who was in shock as he answered her questions. I intervened, remained calm because there was no way that I could actually believe that we were getting treated this way, I made an effort to let her know we were there to get information only and were reminded by Jose the whole step of the way that we are not being forced into anything. She told me that she turned down a potential buyer because of us, I told her that she's being really aggressive and I don't appreciate it to which she admitted YES, SHE IS BEING AGGRESSIVE and that she was going to walk away and proceeded to jump out of her seat and storm off to her desk. Julia, you're a poor excuse of a manager and as tacky as your purple suit and boots. I'm interested to see if First Honda does anything about this but I am not expecting much because at the end of the day, they chose her to represent this dealership. We purchased our 2010 Honda CRV used from First Kia in 2012 and have had it serviced at First Honda ever since. We have always been extremely pleased with our experiences there. The staff is always friendly & efficient. Several times while waiting in the waiting area for our car to be serviced, the technicians finished earlier than projected AND never once longer than they said it would take. I have also been consistently impressed with the cost of service - our bill always seems lower than we were expecting. We take our second car to a different dealer for servicing (different make/model) and the service at First Honda is significantly better. Highly recommend! read more
